Me And my son tried it for the first time, it was great!!!

Owners are very upbeat. Service food and value are all outstanding. Not a large venue but visually rich.

Simple menu and expect to go over $20 per person, for lunch, this may not fit well but they are only open for lunch. Once I received my food, it was piled on, large portions. Expect slower service and food during peak hours because there’s one person in front and one person in kitchen. Good and tasty. Expect to be there to sit and relax and wait for your lunch, not for quick pick up or quick lunch hour. Friendly but I wasn’t ready to pay that much for lunch with entree and water.

This may be the best restaurant in Longview. Super ultra mega awesome good.

Wonderful locally owned couple cooking up amazing Thai food for our East Texas area! They aren't open everyday but makes it so much more special when they are. A great lunch if you find yourself downtown. #GoogleGal

Very disappointed with the food here. I had heard good things about this place so was anxious to try it. Maybe I didn’t order the right thing? Cashew chicken, which was very weird and unlike any cashew chicken I’ve had before. Cut-up orange in it, few cashews, and bland. Service was great. Not sure if I’ll be back to try something else yet.

Fantastic food! Always busy, but never too busy to get it perfect! If you aren't sure what order, just pick anything! It's all great!

I say this all the time but if I were be granted a last meal wish at any point in my life it would 1000000% be from here. Everything I’ve ever had was more than amazing. I’ve been hooked on the Tom Kah Gai soup for a good while now. It’s a bit pricey but I will pay whatever for some good food. The way she makes her version of Tom Kah is way better than any Thai place I’ve tried in the US. Love them.

One of my favorite spots in and down town and just amazing food. Pineapple fried rice is amazing and the curry spiced items are amazing for those looking for an extra kick. 10/10 recommend.

Not your average Place. Food and service was outstanding. Owners were very polite and friendly. Place is small, with an Austin vibe. However, they don’t share Austin political views and are on the “sane” side. A fact that I also appreciate. Food is made when you order it with nothing frozen. We’ll be back…haven’t ever had better Thai food anywhere.

They are undeniably amazing. Fresh, delicious, amazing food!!! And the man who rings you up is just a wonderful human and makes you happy to be eating there. 100% worth the price

Another one of those places the locals know about. Situated in a tiny shop near the Gregg County court house, this place is absolutely amazing. 2 people run this shop between lunch and 2pm. They are extremely busy. But the food is worth the wait. If you want to have REAL THAI food, not that fast food or buffet garbage that most people THINK is asian. Try this place. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

The food was excellent and the conversation about art exhibits and photos on the wall was worth the visit. I do not have any complaints. The owner was super nice and attentive. We'll dine in there again at some point.

This is the place to get Thai food in Longview. The wait is long but well worth it. I love the pineapple fried rice. The curry is good too.

Lil Thai House has been a favorite of mine for years. They have the best Thai food in my opinion. The wife marries the flavors together extremely well in EVERY dish. I read reviews that stated some dishes were bland and not worth the $$$ I DISAGREE. One dish is enough for 2 people to share, but I split my dishes in half so I can indulge in the goodness later on or the next day. I've tried several dishes from years ago to current, and my favorite is chicken or shrimp pad Thai (hands down); the pad ped was so good, and the coconut soup was amazing and welcoming on the taste buds. My husband had drunken rice and drunken noodles on this menu. I say that because a few years ago they used to open for lunch and dinner, but now they're only open 11 to 2 for lunch Mon-Fri. (That's my only disappointment) I love the feel of the environment because it's like I'm in a quaint little eatery in Thailand. All three employees (which have ran the place for years together) are warm and inviting, friendly, and will help you with your food choices. I'll advise anyone who haven't ate here to GO CHECK THEM OUT. If you do frequent them venture out and try something different.

Their food is probably the best you'll find in Longview and is competitive with Thai cuisine I've tried in larger markets saturated with Thai options. Unfortunately, there is one ingredient that is very unappetizing. The owners choose to display and promote dangerous conspiracy theories, political misinformation, and openly support politicians that threatened to end democracy. It is unfortunate to find such rich flavors in an environment that is so void of taste and tact. Please, speak up if you too find this to be an unwelcomed dining experience.

Unfortunately the food didn’t live up to the hype. I had the chicken pad Thai the wife had the kang dang (red curry) we both found our food to be bland and completely lacking flavor. 3 stars still because the service was good staff was polite and place was clean.

Ginger thai chicken was light and wonderful flavor. Pad Thai chicken was a heavier sauce but super delicious! Will, Pat and Timothy are amazing people. First time here and i’m extremely satisfied. Im happier than a puppy with two bones! Oh yeah and i got a BIG RED drink on ice… have not had one of those since i was a kid! Thanks Will!

I want to like this place and support it, and even though I understand the long wait and the prices being on the high end, I am not impressed by all the key ingredients that were missing from traditional Thai staples like green chicken curry and Pad Thai. We were told they’ve been slammed the past two weeks but maybe some things should be taken off the menu if all you’re going to do is stir-fry a stack of noodles in pad thai sauce and make a green curry without any other vegetable than baby eggplants. There was the barest of smatterings of a bit of basil or a piece of onion or a sliver of green onion, but no bean sprouts or bamboo shoots or peppers, making these the literal poorest examples of Thai food I’ve had. They have plenty of stunning reviews, but I think they’re lacking ingredients now, and that makes for very disappointing dishes. ’

Miss this place so much. Work in Tyler now, so lunch trips just aren’t doable. One of my favorites in Longview.

I personally love this place. I only ever order their curries, which are excellent. They have a more homemade flavor which is unique. The atmosphere of the store is as unique as their curries. Lots of local art and some local odds and ends for sale like honey. I can't speak for their dishes except the curries. I usually am in and out pretty quick. but if you order something they do not sell often it can take them some time to make it since everything is made to order...

The food was packed full of flavor, delicious! I enjoyed the Penang Curry and my husband liked his Pad Thai. I will definitely head there again. The owner is very friendly and helpful!

There's a reason this place has a near perfect rating! It's probably the best dish that you'll get in Longview. Yup, it's a small joint and you'll wait a while for your food to be made to order, but it's worth it by a long shot. Will be back

Lil Thai House in downtown Longview!!! All I can say is WOW!! This place is a hidden gem. If you can go I definitely recommend this especially for your Thai fix! I got the curry plate with chicken and I was hooked from the first bite. The flavors are there and bursting with a hundred different flavors that blend together like TWIZZLERS! A must stop on your journey. I would have given this establishment 100 stars if I could. It's a smaller establishment than a normal restaurant setting but soooooooo worth it I can promise you that. 🧡✝️

Just as the name would suggest it is in fact a Lil' Thai House. The have a great menu and fresh thai food cooked just for you. They are open for lunch but be prepared to wait becaus they can get pretty busy. Well worth the wait though. I had the Cashew Chicken and it was delicious as always. About 19.45 with a bottle of water, but with the quality of food and the portions you could probably make two meals out of it.

Went here with my boyfriend and his friend yesterday and the owner was so nice, the service and food was excellent. Would love to come here again! Definitely told my family about this place.

1st time going and it was delicious. So much art to look at. Not only did I get pad Thai, I also bought a t-shirt and custom chopsticks. Will definitely go back.

Fantastic homemade Thai food . We’ve never had a bad meal here. The problem is that so few people can actually eat here due to their hours of service. I haven’t been able to eat here in over 2 years because of the hours of service. We really miss this place.😞

Driving through Texas we stopped in Longview. Based on ratings and the fact we love Thai food, we took a gamble and tried Lil Thai House. For starters, if you are in a rush, make other arrangements (order ahead,or wait until you have more time.) Like their signs say, everything is made fresh and good things take time. I believe we interacted with the owner; Joe? He was extremely quirky and so, so nice. The food was delicious. I had a vegan drunken noodle dish with tofu and my husband the Pad Thai with chicken and beef. The flavors were so tasty. I would have preferred my broccoli a little more cooked but the spices were spot on. The atmosphere is super low key and welcoming. We have been traveling for weeks and can say this was the first establishment we’ve eaten at that felt “normal.” “Pre-Covid,” if you will. The artwork inside is unique. There are only a handful of tables, so be aware the space is smaller (however their website gives you an idea of this.) The prices for 2 dishes were around $35. Each meal we received has enough for another meal later. Side note, we took note of the signs that said they support law enforcement 💙and saw the young lady cooking our food sporting a MAGA hat. We loved it🇺🇸

Boy howdy that food is worth it. Best Thai in town. Chiangmai is good too but nothing compared to this. Known the family for ages and they're great people. Price fits for a place that serves down town Longview but definitely worth it.

I gave it 4 stars because it was a cool little place and I liked the people that worked there, I have never ate Thai before so I have nothing to compare it to, and didn't really know what to order, we got the pineapple fried rice, not really for me, had like an Indian type smell and taste, the chicken in it was good but what ever the seasoning is kinda takes over everything, so not really a fan of thai

Wow what a find in Longview. I had read the reviews and decided I wanted to try this place as I love authentic Thai cuisine. Unlike many restaurants in this age of premade and quick mixes this place takes no shortcuts. Every meal is prepared freshly for you so a bit of a wait. I would much prefer waiting a short time for a fabulous meal than the shortcuts taken at other establishments. If you love Thai food you absolutely owe it to yourself to try the Lil Thai House as it's the best I have found in the area.

Best Thai place in Longview if not all of Texas. I travel around the country and eat Thai food everywhere I go and nothing beats coming back home and eating here. Super nice owners, great food, great environment. They also do a lot to help out the community.

The best Thai Curry I've ever had in the most random place in Texas! The cafe is delightfully eccentric. But I can't say enough good things about the flavor of the Red and Panang Curries. I've had both dishes countless times all over the US (never Thailand, sigh) and this is freshest, most rustic, and thoroughly flavorful rendition I've experienced. The chef is clearly a master at her craft, forged by generations of family heritage and experience. Stop in at all costs.
