Friendly helpful person at the cash. I assume the owner. The food was fantastic. I ordered a chickpea tuna bowl. I enjoyed it so much that I ordered a bbq bowl to go. That was delicious too. I’ll definitely be back!

Came out to LA to visit my girlfriends hometown with her, she’s vegan i’m not. We came across this awesome spot on google and couldn’t be happier. The owner Jason is a solid dude and was super accommodating explaining all the dishes as well as modifying them to your liking. You won’t regret anything you get on the menu!

The first word that comes to mind of this place is “WOOOOW!!!!” What a blessing of a place! The food is so delicious! The portions are AMAZING, and the service is UNBEATABLE!!! This is a very cute spot very close to the beach. My husband, son, and I came and wouldn’t stop talking about the food the entire time we were there eating it. My son- who never eats mushrooms, licked his bowl. WE ARE DEFINITELY COMING BACK FOR MORE!

I would give this place much more than 5 stars if I could. The food was off the chart amazing AND IT IS AS HEALTHY AS IT GETS. So imagine getting an amazing meal, getting so satisfied and it is actually good for you, what more can you ask for? …. Oh, and the raw lavender cheesecake is a MUST try! Sooo decadent and light and just a perfect end to and amazing experience! The guy that was running the business (sorry, didn’t get the name) was so nice and personal. He came to our table and shared about how they started the restaurant which made the experience more enjoyable.

A perfectly splendid lil cafe in the middle of the beautiful Southbay. Scrumptious food, comfortable outside seating area surrounded by a lovely garden, great service, and just a short jaunt to the esplanade for a walk on the beach afterwards. Highly recommend! We found a new favorite :)

They really put work in customer service, and the food is soooo indulgent. So rare to have a vegan spot also be soy-free, gluten-free, and generally allergy-friendly whilst also being packed with flavor.

Their bowls are delicious and filling while being nutritious. I've had almost all of their main entrees. They are all good to great. I feel confident picking up Lil Veggerie knowing they offer plant based foods that I would make myself. Also, they stand out in the South Bay given the limited plant based restaurants in the area. If they were in silver lake or weho, they would be a well known establishment by now.

I've had 3 of their bowls, and each is as good as the last. As with a lot of vegan food, it's on the pricier side, but every bowl is STUFFED full of truly fresh-tasting veggies, and every time I've eaten here they've been cooked and seasoned perfectly. I'm not usually a big fan of bowls, especially those with large veggie pieces, but the mixture of flavors and ingredients in these dishes makes it hard not to enjoy chowing down on everything included. The people working here seem very kind and have on more than one occasion offered to remake my bowl for free if I didn't end up happy with what I ordered. Easy top recommendation to vegans and non-vegans alike <3

I’ve been going here since they opened. All the reviews are true, there is tasty food here and excellent service. A big thumbs up for atmosphere, the floral mural inside and the natives garden out front. Great vibe.

So lucky to stop by this hidden gem. I got the mandarin cardamon Fresca and the mushroom carne asada bowl. The fresca is beautifully flavored, light, refreshing, and not too sweet which is hard to pull off. I don’t taste much cardamon but I’m still satisfied. The carne asada marinade is beyond. Smoky and rich, I ate every last mushroom in the bowl and it settles so easily you don’t feel weighed down by this meal at all. The rice is perfectly cooked and they deserve a medal for the incredible sauces they make idk how they do it without any dairy or soy. Ooo and I don’t know how I almost forgot the creamy potato soup 🔥 Crunchy lil bits of potato stay crispy even after submerged and the slivers of chili are a delightful topping. Jason provided exemplary service and has such a warmth in all of his actions. He made sure we knew about all the ingredients and offered us blankets since seating is outdoors. They make the narrow patio area really functional and friendly. I love the drought conscious landscaping, you get to enjoy the sounds of a lil bubbling fountain and vibrant Californian wildflowers in bloom. Truly a lovely lunch, thank you to lil’Vegerie, you deserve all the hype.

I got the mushroom carne asada bowl and the hibiscus drink. I’m not vegan but this is one of my favorite restaurants in LA. The owner is lovely. The food is delicious and portions are big! These bowls aren’t just rice and some toppings, it’s a great balance of every ingredient. The drinks are perfectly sweet and refreshing. The seating outside is comfy and relaxed. I recommend this to anyone local or visiting!!! Check them out!

Really delicious flavorful and healthy bowls - totally vegan - the to go portions are hearty! I got the pumpkin curry and it was delish! And the guy who helped me at the counter was great!

If you're a fan of hearty, filling, flavorful food, then this is the spot for you. Even if you're not vegan, I would recommend trying this spot out. My wife and I went for lunch on a weekday afternoon. Wasn't busy at all, so we got to meet Gus and get his recommendations. Great guy and really made our experience. We ordered the goddess and seven layer bowls, their creamy potatoe soup, and their little desserts. I really enjoyed the seven layer bowl and would definitely get it again. Everything was cooked well, and the potatoes with their creamy sauce and everything else in that bowl go perfectly together. Portion sizes are pretty generous as well. If you have a sweet tooth, I would recommend their chocolate ganache with sea salt. Their dessert is like a small sauce cup size, so I would recommend getting more than one. Pro tip, it goes great with a banana. There's plenty of free parking in the little plaza that it's in, and it's close to the beach so you can pick up food and go eat it there like we did. Check this place out and hope you enjoy!

Great food! Coconut Pumpkin Curry was amazing.

I went there with a group of friends and we ordered takeaway. We asked a million questions and got a happy helpful response to all of them. Our food was prepared rather quickly for four meals, perfect wait time as to not get too hungry waiting. I ordered the potato soup and the pumpkin curry bowl, both portions are big enough to eat on their own so now I have lunch for tomorrow. Excellent food that I know is safe from allergens and inflammatory ingredients. I will absolutely be going back.

Food is incredible! It was easy to modify a few dishes for our dietary needs. It’s nice to have a whole food plant based restaurant amid all the more prevalent junk food vegan places.

Yelp’s best Vegan restaurants collection took us here last night. We ordered the Loaded SoCal Hash, BBQ Jackfruit, and Cauliflower Shawarma bowls and enjoyed all of them. The blend is unique and the burst of different flavors was yummy. The owner (Jason?) was super polite and kind and went out of the way to understand we were first timers, delivered food to the car and even said if we dint like anything he would replace and deliver it home!! Just the gesture shows his seriousness about caring for customers. Lil’ Vegerie will most likely replace our Chipotle stops from here on.

Got an order to go with my daughter who is vegan. I am not vegan, but really enjoyed the large dinner salad. The combination of ingredients in the dish made it very interesting and one of the best salads I have had in a long time. Definitely would get it again. Nice service and very friendly staff!

5 stars all the way! First off this is the first vegan eats place I have ever been to where the portion size is ample and generous. For ten years, My number one complaint with all vegan food is the portion size. Lil Vegerie is crushing it with good portions and incredible value. Don't ever change this Jason! 2nd the food is incredibly fresh and curated. We know good food quality and mostly eat at home for this reason. They make food here like we would make it at home but even better. Those carrots! Just today I ordered a takeout from this place consisting of four dishes, and it was a delightful experience! The food was well-packaged, hot and fresh. Each dish had its own unique flavors and textures, showcasing the creativity of the chef. I particularly enjoyed the mushrooms and hash. It's great to see a vegan restaurant offering such a variety of options. The portion sizes were generous, making it a satisfying meal. I'll definitely be ordering from them again soon! Shawarma Cauliflower Bowl was fantastic, I got it with greens instead of grains. The seasoning was good. Large portions. I also tried the Tex Mex Burrito Bowl. Still great flavor. Also, their tuna salad is fantastic. Note: I am not vegan, but the spices are nice.

Absolutely off-the-charts vegan and vegetarian options. I went here on a whim due to the donut place next door (also excellent for veggie sandwiches) was closed, and my mind was blown by the tex mex burrito bowl, the cream of potato soup, and those superb dessert options. Even if you're not looking for meat alternatives, this place deserves your attention.

My wife and I went to lil' Vegerie for the first time and had an amazing experience. Jason greeted us with a smile and even let us try out a couple things from the menu before we ordered. He was very professional, kind, and courteous, making us feel extremely welcomed. My wife and I got the mushroom bowl and it was really good as well as the strawberry agua fresca. I would recommend this place to anyone if you're looking for amazing food and great service.

Rode a bike from the hotel to LilVegerie for some dinner. The soy free Vegan fare was what attracted me. Meet Jason and he explained the menu to me very well. I was hungry so I chose both a salad and a bowl. The Chickpea ‘Tuna’ salad was great with an abundance of flavor and texture. The bowl Jason recommended was just as fantastic - Mushroom Carne Asada, it had a barBQue’y Mexican/Spanish vibe. I also enjoyed the refreshing ‘Green Juice.’ I am from out of town (ALA) but if I lived local I would eat here weekly. As I sat outside eating, I saw a steady stream of locals picking up orders to take home. Even though I was on a bike, I took half of each of my bowl back to the hotel to enjoy on the flight back to NY the next day. Highly recommend LilVegerie!

GREAT VEGAN FOOD in Redondo Beach, 3 blocks from the beach! Owner is super nice and passionate about his food and very generous with portions and extras. E.g., my wife ordered a juice drink but I only ordered water, so the owner offered to put a little juice in my water to jazz it up. It tasted great. It's SO great to see privately owned vegan restaurants that are small, have a nice variety to their menu and really care about their food and service. I get enough vegan burgers and fries elsewhere, here we enjoy bowls, salads and sandwiches. Keep in mind the only seating is outside in front of the restaurant, basically 3 tables, so if it's cold you probably won't want to eat there. It's not table service, you order inside at the counter and then he brings it out to you.

I wish I could give 6 stars to this amazing restaurant. I’ve tried every single item in the menu and my biggest problem is deciding what I want because everything is super delicious and you can literally taste the freshness. Healthy and tasty and retell used in the same sentence, not so with Lil vegerie. The soup is addicting and healthy for you. Try the Pome bowl. You will be surprised the the reasonable prices. A true treasure of the South Bay! (Plenty of parking)

Unbelievable flavors and textures, what a find. I am a not at all vegetarian, but dang that coconut pumpkin curry was great. Made the hour wait at Urgent Care across street so much better. My first ever food review, go support this great find
