The food and service here were great. The drinks were wonderful. I will definitely be coming back.

Everything was great except for the pesky mosquitoes for the patio seating we got. Service was excellent, they even gave us " off spray" for these mosquitoes. We had the crab claws which really good. Raw oyster was really fresh, thought they are smaller than what we usually have at other restaurants. Halibut was excellent and the duck breast was perfect. The total price came out a bit above the budget, but with the service and top-notch food, it's all worth it.

I've eaten here at lunch many times and dinner a few times and always enjoyed nearly everything I've had here. The one thing I didn't really enjoy was the burger but I've only sampled the burger at lunch once and it wasn't among my favorites (it isn't a bad burger it just doesn't compare to others in its pricey category). They also make some fantastic cocktails and it always seems to be a fun place to enjoy a meal. The biggest issue here is the parking which can be a challenge in the area. We have been going to Lilette for over 20 years and the service and food is always top notch. In a city with hundreds of great places to eat, this remains on our top 10 choices.

Fantastic experience. Highly recommend

Our server, Greg, gave us 12/10 service. It was truly the best serving experience I've ever had. We'd made a reservation for my birthday, on which I'd also noted that I'm vegan. Greg took note of both factors and was incredibly prepared to suggest vegan options for me. I loved that there's always a vegan entree, and the one available that night (curry spiced flatbread) was delicious. My partner's steak came out well done though he'd ordered it medium rare, and while my husband was hesitant to be a bother, Greg encouraged him to have it remade, insisting that my husband deserved it to come out to his liking. While we waited for the steak to be remade, Greg offered my partner another glass of wine, on the house. Finally, we ordered vegan sorbet to share for dessert, and it came out with a birthday candle. The dessert had also been provided complimentary. Truly an incredible experience that we won't forget!

The food was delicious, the service friendly and quick, the atmosphere fun and upscale without being overbearing. This was a great lunch date - looking forward to coming back!

Love this place!! My top ten list for sure!! The locals all know this place and it's always busy from what I've seen, every time I've gone I got squeezed in at the bar seating since I dine alone a lot! The quality of the food is exceptional, great tasting good, nice presentation, nice "little" fairly big space (outdoor seating also available)... service can be a little slow on busy nights but for the most part the staff is mostly quite attentive... kudos to this place!

It did not live up to it's reviews. The food was underwhelming. The service was lackluster, and the wait staff was inaudible. I have had better service a Culvers.

The food was good. We were a group of 5. Had Cod, the vegetarian option, the steak and the chicken. We all thought the service was disappointing. The server was unpleasant and unhelpful. Same with the individual who brought the water to the table. May seem trivial, but it was disappointing enough to be memorable. At an expensive restaurant I’d expect the staff to enhance the experience but that was not the case from the time we walked in. There’s much competition close by and throughout the city, especially at their price point, so this is not a place I’d return to.

We had a FABULOUS time! Dined in to celebrate an anniversary, my boyfriend and I are both 23 and oftentimes it’s hard to find a place to have a more upscale meal that we can afford, but Lillette was absolutely perfect! I didn’t catch the name of our bartender, but he made a fantastic last word and dark rum daquiri while we waited for our table. Kevi was our server and she was lovely! Ordered the mushroom toast and gnocchi for our appetizer, and the oyster special. For the entrees we did the hanger steak, and salmon special with an arugula salad. Everything was exceptional but I highly recommend the gnocchi. The atmosphere was lovely and the staff as a whole was very attentive and friendly. Tremendous thanks to the staff for helping make a special evening so spectacular!

Food and service exceptional. There is a reason that this romantic beautiful restaurant has been here so long. From the Dark Daquiri to the (9 appetizers for 5 people) to the Lamb Shoulder to the Coconut Cake. Yum. And our tatted up dude who waited on on was a pro. Like, the best, believe me, I know.

Very disappointed. The food was good but nothing special. Our server was not helpful or friendly. We felt like we were bothering her each time we asked a simple question. We asked busboy if the drinking water was filtered & the response was “it is Mississippi river water”. A simple yes or no would have been the proper answer. We asked about a drink on the menu & she shoved the menu back and said “I can’t read that”. Wow such bad energy all around. Will not return.

Had a great meal here, all of the food was outstanding; the specials were very good and highly recommend listening to them as they were all 3 a great choice. Definitely get two of the gnocchi! Atmosphere was great - lively but not too loud. Server was great about reading the vibe and only appeared exactly when we needed him.

Best meal I have had in a long time! Every dish was interesting, executed perfectly, and was absolutely delicious. Our waitress was also very sweet. Highly recommend for an amazing food experience!

The waiter was excellent and knowledgeable. The ambiance was incredible. Truly, a scene from a movie. But,......my food was utterly awful! I ordered the hearts of palm salad and the Italian wedding soup. Both were awful. Hearts of palm were hard and crunchy, not what I wanted. And the soup was bland, forgettable and it was like having hot water served to me. On the other hand, my husband got the escargot and duck pate plus a lamb dish as his entree. He said it was delicious! So, will I ever go again, NO! It cost $170 for nothing.

Delicious food in a beautiful setting Beets were light and tasty. Gnocci was like a pillow. Delicious. As was special salad. Pate was also delicious but very rich. Each entree was full of flavor. Would recommend everything we had.

If it's cold, don't eat outside. Lesson learned. David was a great server. Highly recommend this establishment.

Love Lillette but most recent visit was a bit disappointing. Could have been an off night. Some entrees were served cold. Specifically, the protein was hot but served on top of a cold plate of cold vegetables.

I went there for the first time last week for a late lunch - the food is -wow! - such quality! And top notch service. I will definitely be back!

We visited 12/21/23 for holiday reunion with NoLa friends and had some of the best roasted chicken ever. But don’t miss the white truffle Parmesan toast, the duck liver pate, and the grilled beets!!

Food is very good; and service is excellent. Their New Years Eve special menu was disappointing, particularly given the price. I was expecting more from the NEE menu given how good their standard menu is.

Food was delicious. I’d come back for that. But customer service was kind of bad when we went. The server served my partner a wrong kind of fish (sea bass instead of branzino) and tried to convince us that this was some special type of branzino, when it clearly was a sea bass. Also very very noisy and crowded!!! But the decor was very tasteful and pretty.

Incredible! Very cozy and romantic vibes. Everything we tried was delicious but we couldn’t get over how rich and flavorful the mushroom toast was! No detail was overlooked, highly recommended for an intimate or celebratory dinner!

The food was magnificent. Best meal I have had in years. I had the lamb and my friend had the branzino. The Italian Wedding soup was homemade and delicious.

Great spot for a date night or intimate dinner. The service is always attentive, and the food is consistently great. Admittedly a multiple course dinner can get pricy, but for the great experience you’ll have, it’s warranted. The crab claws and oysters were fantastic. Also highly recommend the gnocchi. If you’re not ready to end the night after dinner, pop into Bouligny next door for a cocktail and a more relaxed atmosphere.

I've only been twice, but the food was amazing both times.

Delicious dinner and drinks with friends at Lilette. The choices are varied and fresh and always delicious. The cocktails are terrific. We had great service and a great meal.

We celebrated my birthday at this lovely bistro and everything was perfect. The menu has a vegan option that was a well-seasoned arancini with trumpet mushrooms-a little spicy and quite satisfying. My husband ordered the hangar steak frites that was served at temperature and was quite tasty. Service was attentive and friendly. The wine list has a few half bottles. They serve a great French roast coffee-the perfect ending to our meal (although the desserts, including a butterscotch budino, all sounded very good). Very good value for this quality of meal and experience. Reservations are recommended.

Food is outstanding. White truffle toast is incredible. Branzino was delicious. Gnocchi is light as a feather.

We had an outstanding meal! We stayed within walking distance of this stunning restaurant and it did not disappoint. We chose to spend our last lunch here and now I'm upset we hadn’t come sooner! Google images don’t do Lilette justice, read the menu and make a reservation stat!

An incredible place with a nice atmosphere.

Escargot and a watermelon kale salad. Delicious. Warm melted butter for your crisp bread as you wait and a diverse selection of French and Italia wine. Lovely place and very attentive staff.

Stumbled into this place as the bar next door was temporarily closed. Just had drinks. The bartender and drinks were excellent. As often happens when you sit at a bar, there was good conversation among the other bar patrons. It created a good atmosphere. We would like to go back to eat at some point as we were only stopping for a drink before our dinner reservations elsewhere.

Tons of potential here but not fully realized. Great Oysters and Service! Tomato salad.was very good but used tube pesto and not fresh. The gulf fish was awesome but the sides were lacking.

Nice staff. Good appetizers. Cocktails 🍸 yummy. Flavors are fun, but too rich, it was impossible to get away from the cloying oil. They were able to create a vegan menu. Pre-Anniversary dinner. Happy 17!

One of my local spots. Chef John Harris has been hitting home runs for years now. Go early and have a drink next door at his bar. Think Mad Men meets NOLA.

I was in New Orleans solo, but still wanted to go to a great restaurant for dinner. I was seated in a nice central location, and not hidden in a corner. My server Dwayne was gracious and attentive. The food was delicious. If you are a solo diner, they will take care of you. That’s not true everywhere. I will definitely be back, solo and with friends!

It was my wedding anniversary, my husband's and my first time there, and everything was great. It was our first time, but it definitely won't be our last time.

What a great find on Magazine Street. Wonderful menu that is well executed, wine list and service to match, and sidewalk or inside dining. My adult daughter stopped in for dinner and then lunch the next day while we were staying in the area. Loved every bite and encourage you to stop by while shopping on Magazine Street in New Orleans.

Our favorite restaurant in New Orleans, either for lunch or dinner. There’s a good reason this place has been in business for 20 years: Food is consistently well done, and service is top notch.

Excellent food and service, but a bit pricey. Three of us had great meals. Definitely need reservations, even during the week.

Laughable. Locals here clearly love over salty, over sweet and over-priced. Market price for crab claws = $100/lb!? Drenched in GOYA level fruit juice, as well = Nasty. These are NYC prices but NOLA quality. Four of us were put outside (balmy) when three tables inside sat unused our entire time. 30 minutes before first drink order taken, 15 minutes for those (three single liquor and soda, one beer), 30 minutes more before first food order taken. Monday night, NOT busy enough for that junk. Sat at 7:30, first bite just after 9, and the way hyped specials already gone = Hell no. Two stars for nice joint and nice server.

Although the grilled beets were good - but not remarkable - the hangar steak was the best I think I've ever had. It takes skill to create a melt-in-your-mouth hangar. This was just that. Of course, what is steak without frite. The fries with it were just perfect. I recommend the chocolate mousse dessert.

With so many great places to eat around town, to be *great* is no mean feat, and, delightfully, Lilette was really great. I went with a small group dedicated to trying a bit of everything, and nothing missed. From the cocktails to the service to the desserts, this was a terrific and romantic dinner experience we all greatly enjoyed. Will certainly be back.

Great atmosphere and restaurant. The staff were amazing with tasty cocktails. There is a dress code mentioned, but we did see people in jeans, shorts and sneakers.

We've come to this restaurant many many times and cannot say a single bad thing about it! The food is incredible, especially the steak. The staff are very kind and the amenities are beautiful. If you are into dining outside this is the place to do it! With the cutest patio the restaurant creates a great atmosphere for a nice dinner. We hope you love this place as much as we did.

Honestly, one of the best meals I have ever had. We started with the escargot. It was the best escargot I have ever had. Then the lamb with pan fried gnocchi. I promise this was the best thing I ate in the past year. And we finished with the hazelnut mousse. The service was excellent. The atmosphere as well. Go.

Definitely a place is worth visiting for an experience in dining. You feel like you're an old school New Orleans restaurant. The drinks from the bar are good and the food overall was very flavorful

My friend and I had a special girls night dinner at Lilette. The food is incredibly delicious and the service is outstanding! We shared a few small plates like a beet salad with goat cheese and walnuts and some amazing french fries. Then we each had a cup of soup and split an entree- the halibut, which was tender, light and served in a delicate broth with mushrooms and asian vegetables. Portions are big so consider sharing! There’s also a great cocktail and wine list- or should I say wine book! I can’t wait to go back.

There seems to be a number of places in New Orleans that stand out in a similar way with a beautiful and comfortable dining room, professional service, and top notch food. This place falls squarely into that class. We enjoyed the grilled beets, pappardelle, and truffle toast to start and all were fantastic. We finished with the duck confit landaise that was just as good, and the hamburger that was very good but not as good as everything else

Our group had lunch here and thoroughly enjoyed it. I had the grilled cheese that was awesome. The bread was very light and airy and the extras on the sandwich were delicious. The rest of our group had fish and salads and loved them. Great drinks also.

Every dish was out of this world! Personal favorites are the potato gnocchi which are like pillows, & the Kobe beef burger. However you cannot go wrong with anything on the menu! Great cocktails, awesome staff !!

Overpriced and unaccommodating. Many better restaurants in New Orleans that you should patronize. Mediocre seafood, mediocre beef. If you ask for vegetarian fare, prepare for extra salt. Would not visit again.

Truly the best restaurant experience of my life, a perfect evening for our honeymoon in NOLA. My husband got the Wagyu special and it was absolutely perfect - the best steak either of us had ever had. I got the chicken and it was perfect. The gnocchi appetizer was divine. Next time we're in NOLA we will definitely be back.

Very nice lunch. I got my greens and protein in a magnificent dish that was very satisfying 💕 also they pour Bastioni Chianti Classico by the glass so a perfect place to look for a delicious treat ✨

Let’s start by pointing out the padded velvet walls. They’re beautiful and luxurious, yet they are warm and inviting. I joined my family of six(1 toddler) for a light dinner to hold us over for late drinks and desserts. We started with two appetizers, with the white truffle parmigiano toast and the potato gnocchi. Both were rich and flavorful. The toast was small though - not in the come on, you’re sharing this amongst 5, but small for two people to share. For our second course, we split three entrees, snapper, duck breast, and hangar streak. I would order all three again, but the snapper the would be my preference. None of the cocktails were calling to me, so I ordered a sazerac. It was a classic and true expression of the cocktail.

Very poor management. Unapologetic and No integrity. Very elitist...they look down on you and treat you with diminished service if you don't look up to their elitist standards- regardless of how much you are paying for their overpriced food. Pretentious, discriminating and of poor taste. Avoid businesses run by people like these.

From the moment I called to make the reservation through the end of the meal, everything was the highest quality. The staff were all friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. The food tasted so fresh. The combination of ingredients was creative and prepared with great care. We started with the shishito peppers and hearts of palm salad…OUTSTANDING. For entrees we had the lamb shoulder, duck breast and roasted chicken…all I can say is all plates went back to the kitchen clean. Oui Chef!! We ended with desserts, the butterscotch pudding, poached pear with goat cheese canelles and blueberry shortbread cake. Each bit more delicious than the next. The cocktails were refreshing as well. The staff needs an additional mention for their attention and excitement to share their expertise with us. A stand out gem in the Crescent City. We can’t wait to dine with them again.

Lilette has been on my bucket list over the last 4 years. It was worth the wait. The meal, wine, service, and warm atmosphere are reason enough for me to return the next time I am in New Orleans. Excellent choice.

I had dinner there very often like once in a month bc I love potato gnocchi ..I can say the best gnocchi I ever had I traveled around the world… can’t find like here… besides that every menu was great too..

Good ambiance. Nice hidden outdoor courtyard. They may have spray if you are getting bit. Some of the best gnocchi I’ve ever had. It’s a small portion but it’s really good! The lamb is a popular dish but it’s just ok. Wouldn’t order it again. Not bad but not great. Hanger steak is what you would expect. A poor cut of meat. Flavor is good and fries are good. Our sever was nice and attentive. Drinks are really good. We Worl come back.

Fine dining experience. Loved the sparkling rosé by the glass. Escargot appetizer was our favorite dish of the night. They timed dishes out well between appetizers and entrees. Sitting in the patio was lovely.
