An utterly abysmal experience, and to add insult to injury, I didn't even get to sample the food. One of the owners—an individual whose involvement in our wedding reception was as tenuous as their connection to the event space next door— decided that an unscheduled visit was just the thing to elevate the occasion. My profound disappointment is reserved for only one co-owner, whose conduct could only be described as shockingly atrocious. Despite having zero official role in our wedding reception, they intruded with a level of rudeness that defies belief. Their uninvited presence was not merely unwelcome but a grotesque display of entitlement. Watching them was like witnessing someone overturn a meticulously arranged dinner table simply to showcase their own misguided sense of importance. It's truly astonishing how someone in their position can exhibit such a glaring deficiency in basic courtesy and professionalism. Their ability to intrude into an event space they not only did not cater, but had no actual claim or ownership to in the manner they did is a testament to their incompetence and disregard for anyone outside their narrow, self-serving perspective. If this is the caliber of behavior endorsed by the restaurant, then clearly, a hospitable experience is as much of a delusion as the notion of them being a competent professional. This co owner is a shining example of how to drive customers away with sheer disdain and unearned arrogance. Their conduct was disgraceful, and it's unfortunate that their actions could detract from what might have otherwise been a pleasant evening. I'd strongly advise against any engagement with this establishment if you value respect and professionalism. As for the food, well, I'll never have the pleasure of knowing, but I suspect you could enjoy something similarly uninspired at Olive Garden without the added drama. On a rare note of commendation, the other co-owner appears to be a decent and professional individual. It's a shame to see their business undermined by a counterpart so intent on repelling customers with their nasty attitude.

The owner was incredibly impolite. Do not recommend.

Visited Pensacola for my wife's birthday we got pizza and dessert for the final night. The staff were amazing and courteous. Food was great. See y'all again next year.

The food, the music, the sunset! You couldn't ask for anything more except that when we were finished our meal the owner came out to greet us. He brought us a portion of his bread pudding OH MY only GOODNESS DIVINE! Please visit this gem when in Pensacola no regrets!

This is the best kept secret in the area! My boyfriend and I have made this our most frequent place for watching the sunset with a glass of wine, pizza, chicken and zoodles with goat cheese, dessert, cheesy bread, Oreo cake, tiramisu and many other delicious items. This is my favorite pizza in the area (can’t go wrong with any). We come by boat, bike or walking. We live in Pensacola so we like to take the walking/bike path over and enjoy the sunset and a wonderful meal. We love to bring friends and family for special events or after a day of beach and boating. We can be casual and sit outside or have an elegant evening with live music inside. Just can’t beat Lillo’s! Great job on the outside bar Mr. Lillo!! Can’t wait to come back with friends/family and sit at/by the bar soon!

Unfortunately the manager Ryan waited my table with my son. I ordered two personal pans same. He ask why we didn't want one large. I said no two personal pans then once we finished. We count get attention of the staff for a good bit waiting for our ticket. Finally I got his attention. He brought the ticket. As a good parent I'm showing my son how to figure tip on the calculator. He comes back over immediately for his my money and said oh your still on the calculator. I said yes I'm showing my son something. Sadly this was my last time to try this place. So seems da. Mateo in Navarre has better atmosphere and help. I don't care if you a manager if I'm finished eating and tell you I do not want desert I'm expecting you to come back with my tab .without waiting and flagging you down from talking with staff to bring my bill..

Lillo’s is an absolute must if you are in Santa Rosa Island, or anywhere in the area. The owner, Steve, is first class and genuinely cares about the entirely of your experience at the restaurant. I can stress enough, this is the place to eat, drink, and enjoy the evening.

We came in with a party of 9 which took a min to push tables together, we ordered and food got to us in a decent timeframe but for the price of the food it didn't taste great. There were 9 of us so a wide variety of dishes and nobody actually liked their meal. For my meal alone plus 2 drinks it was $85 and the only thing good I had was the drinks.

My grandmother was from Sicily and was an amazing cook, so I am pretty picky about my Italian restaurants. The meat lasagna was very good. My husband enjoyed the chicken parmesan. The garlic bread and salad were just okay. The service was great, we were seated right away after signing in through Google. I recommend making reservations at sunset. You won't find a better view!

We visited on June 7th and 8th and oh my goodness. The food was amazing the atmosphere was warm and welcoming and the even welcomed my pooch on the patio. With a view of the bay and the sound of waves crashing in it was absolutely wonderful. The first visit we were welcomed by the owner who is from Leland MS (we're from Tupelo MS) and the second visit we met his beautiful and lovely wife. She shared their personal story of how they met and a few of their travels. Absolutely the best experience we had in gulf breeze. The pizza was one of a kind and the taste of Italy was amazing. And the bartender of 26 years also makes all the desserts. If you ever have the chance it's definitely worth it!!

Most amazing authentic Italian food that you will ever get. Don’t judge a book by the cover when you get to the parking lot. Go into the building and you will not be disappointed.amazing!!!!!!

I was so excited to be able to make a reservation for 17 here just days before my daughter's graduation, but I now understand why it was so easy. We were rushed to order, food came out at all different times and half of it was already cold. The prices did not reflect the quality AT ALL, there was no flavor to most of our dishes and tiny portions of meat in the pasta. We all spent the next day unable to enjoy the beach because the food made three people very sick including my daughter whom we were celebrating. It was 5pm and no one was there but our cups stayed empty. The waitress was nice but she was told that we did not like our dishes and never once offered to accommodate which tells me she knows the quality is lacking and didn't care because she was getting her 20% auto grat regardless. Don't waste your money and time here, you will leave unhappy and with a LOT less money.

Not a great find. We were excited to go, as the online reviews looked great. Upon entering, the atmosphere was a bit off-putting. It’s inside the lobby of a dated motel from years past that definitely needs some updating. The view from the dining room was breathtaking, overlooking the bay. That’s the extent of the high point. The crab cake was burnt. I ordered risotto, and it was extremely undercooked. There were also remnants of canned green chilis in it, which doesn’t make sense for risotto. Our server was extremely new- or seemed to be. She was neither attentive or knowledgeable of the menu. Her name was Mia. I’m giving two stars on food because my husband enjoyed his shrimp pasta. However, in fine print on the menu it says that all parties of two or more will be charged 18% gratuity- which we were. In addition, we left another tip- for two of us. It said each dish was made from scratch, which makes sense because the service from the kitchen was extremely slow- but then an undercooked, under seasoned risotto and overcooked crab cake was delivered. The whole place was just over-priced and weird.

I ordered take out. The restaurant is right on the bay, and has great views. However, the location is weird. You have to walk through the lobby of an old smelly hotel lobby to get to the restaurant. There are no signs indicating where the entrance to the restaurant is. I drove and walked around several times looking for the entrance. I picked up my food at the bar, and it was almost a dive-bar like atmosphere. Weird smells. The food was just okay, I got spaghetti with meat sauce. Probably would not come back

This is a gem. Family owned with the best Italian food in the area, in my opinion. It's small and in a weird location, but great for sunsets. Popular among locals.

We had 4 Bombay Martini's and the bill was $90.00 bucks. Have been to many high end restaurant's ( which this place isn't) around the world which were MUCH nicer than this place and rarely charged that much

Service was not good and food was worse. Nowhere near how Lillo’s was when it was downtown Pensacola. Please don’t use a microwave on a $25 entree and the staff needs to be properly trained and dress appropriately. No bueno… Carrabas and Olive Garden are better and that’s not saying much.

We were driving thru on our way to Bradenton, FL from Houston, TX & I have to say the environment is too notch. The staff are GREAT & so was our pizza. Wish we had one of these back home. We will definitely be back when we cone bVk. I highly recommend!

Worst dining experience I've had in years. WE are local and I had high hopes for this place. Went out to celebrate and it felt like a punishment. A restaurant that claims to be serving italian food should have their Fettuccine Alfredo locked down. What a let down. Never have I tasted an alfredo like that. I felt punked. Bland and eggish i took a couple bites and sat at the edge of the table. The server didnt give AF. Didnt ask if anything was wrong. We barley touched our food, paid over $100, left hungry. The best part about the place was the little old man who was playing some live music. His set was great.

We were in search of a new local restaurant and unfortunately this place isn't it. We begin the night walking through the entrance to a musty motel to get to the restaurant which is in desperate need of decorating. Our expectations were high based on friend who I will be billing for this experience. I ordered water with lemon, my wife ordered UNsweet tea. She received sweet tea. When the server returned, she asked for an unsweet tea again. And again, received a sweet tea. We ordered our appetizers, stuffed mushrooms at the recommendation of our server, and the stuffed 'fried' Ravioli. We also asked again for an UnSweet tea instead and the server apologized for the mix up and rushed back, with a sweet tea. For the 3rd time, we asked for an UNSWEET tea. This time she got it right but blamed someone else. The stuffed ravioli was ok I guess. Nothing to be praised but FAR better than the stuffed mushrooms which I can only describe as tasteless lukewarm tuna-like stuffed mushrooms. We had half of one and left the other 3. The server failed at recognizing that we were dissatisfied and were basically not going to eat what she happily took. "How was it" she said; to which my wife replied "It was ok". Her response was "Awesome" but was already 5 feet towards the kitchen so I doubt she heard my wifes response to her question anyways. At this point we were actually just thankful we had the main courses coming which by the description in the menu, were going to be lovely. How wrong we were. My wife had ordered the Chicken Alfredo and I the goat cheese chicken salad, which came out without dressing and I was told "here's some oil and vinegar, we're out of italian dressing" I'm not sure how they managed to remove all the flavor but I now no what it must be like for people who couldn't taste their food when they had covid. I'm thankful I can now empathize with people without tastebuds. I imagine this is what food will taste like if people are forced to live underground. We had perhaps 2 or 3 bites from each dish. I put my card on the table and the server asked several minutes later if we wanted to box anything up to which we replied "no thank you" with a less than impressed expression. Again, her response was "awesome" and happily left us there with full plates she now knew we had no intention of eating. $112 with tip included. We left to go find somewhere else to eat.

The restaurant owner and team leads are hostile. Owner allows himself and team leads to verbally abuse other employees, multiple employees have quit due to lack of respect, disrespectful yelling, disrespectful behavior, racist remarks in a workplace, and the building is falling apart with a terrible computer system. The owner steve is a mysognist who doesn’t know how to speal to female employees, and does NOT know how to run a business. His workplace is truly digusting from the floor boards to the cielings.

19 year Anniversary dinner was awful 😩 My prime rib came out well done & I asked for rare Potatoes had enough salt to salt the whole state of Texas They had not made any horseradish Our waitress only came by 2 times. My husband had to get up to find her & get the check $103 😩😩 Positivity- Beautiful setting!! Looking over the water was great!

5 star by the bay! The service was great, and the food was the best! We had the prime rib, and it was cooked perfectly and tasted great! With a crackling crust around the edges. A little slice of Italian New York on the gulf...

Food was expensive and meh. Our pasta was served cold and sauce had an odd taste. They tack on a mandatory 20% tip. We would never return, you can find much better food in the area for this price. The view is nice, building out very old.

Its an odd place. They need a decorator. The staff is amazing. I can't speak high enough for them. The food is all freshly made in house, a plus,.but zero seasoning in the Alfredo. The bruschetta was great. It may be me, but at 52.. I can still handle a little more flavor. The prices are ridiculous.

It doesn't look like much from the outside, but it's a beauty on the inside. The service was top notch, the food was wonderful especially the spaghetti meat sauce and the desserts were out of this world. If you're visiting from out of town you'll be thinking about this restaurant all the way home thinking about if there's a restaurant in your home town area that's comparable with Lillo's Tuscan Grille I know that we are searching for one (we live 1,400 miles away from Pensacola Florida) so if you're still not sure about Lillo's Tuscan Grille trust me they won't disappoint your taste buds! and the bread pudding is to die for soooo good!

My husband and I visited while on vacation. Everything about this place was great. Our waiter was very friendly. The food was absolutely delicious.

Do not miss this spot! We almost turned around, because you have to go through a very modest hotel lobby to get to the restaurant. But then we realized that this place may offer the best view in the area. We watched a direct on sunset. There was live music playing; we had great Italian food, and absolutely out of this world homemade dessert. Notice the picture. This is a romantic place. So take your sweetheart. And a bonus is that the food was very fairly priced. This is obviously a local gem.

The food was pretty bad. Crunchy dry risotto, bland veggies, super dry salmon, the sauce they put on the salmon tasted so bad and cheap. They put an excessive amount of balsamic glaze on the bruschetta. The roasted potatoes were swimming in oil. The entrance of the motel-restaurant smelled like pee. A long wait to get seated and a long wait to get served. I'm shocked at how this place still gets customers, maybe they are all tourists. It was so over priced too. I'm frustrated I wasted money and time on this so-called 'Tuscan' place. Not a single piece of fresh herb. It's shameful. There was a guy playing jazz live, that was the only good thing.

Steve is an amazing chef. His sauce is to die for, and Michelle is an incredible bar tender!! He handled our 60 person convention with ease serving some of the best Italian cuisine we've ever had.

I was told I could request to have it made and if ingredients were available, they would do it. I have tried several times but told no ingredients were available. DO NOT EAT HERE. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS OVERPRICED AND UNDERWHELMING FOOD. It is not worth it. The food is mediocre at best. My fish wasn't anything great, and my gouda rice was still a little cold. I had a single Tequila Sunrise, and it was so watered down that it was disgusting. The service was some of the worst service I have ever had. The waiter was impatient, and it was obvious he didn't care at all about us. We never got a refill on our water, and I asked for one twice. Once with our waiter and once with another. Then, to make matters worse, I had to hunt down someone who worked there to get my check. My family had left, and I waited almost 20 minutes for a check. I asked three people before I got a check. I never saw my waiter one time during this. Again do not eat here. It's not worth it.

Dude this place is not a repeat on anyone's book. The food was bland, Applebee's is high quality compared to this place. It looks amazing but you go there for food that's at least half the reasone. I am convinced the 4&5 stars are from employees. Please do not waste your money here. It's way too expensive for what you get. Not to mention our server was MIA the whole time. The drinks ask for water, because that will be most of your drink.

1 Star is too high for the experience that we had. We are locals and went for a birthday dinner. Our waiter Bryon was inattentive to our table of 13. We sat for 30 minutes before receiving drinks, 45 before our table was cleared and 15 just to receive additional plates for a cake. The food was horrible and over priced. My wife took one two bites of the manicotti, the marinara sauce had a metallic taste to it. My snapper was undercooked is spots. The grouper plate was disappointing in portion size for the $30 plus price. Do yourself a favor and go out to Pensacola Beach for a better meal at more reasonable price.

We were vacationing in the area and I had heard quiet a few recommendations for this place from some locals and decided to give it a try because everywhere else had a minimum of an hour wait and we were all starving and tired after being at the beach all day. We had a party of 6, three adults and three children. Lillo’s is in an old hotel and felt very 70’s. It was kinda nostalgic and reminded me of vacationing with my family as a kid so I didn’t mind that too much. They had a musician singing and he was great! There was a great view of the sunset and the place wasn’t loud and mostly empty. And now I know why… The food left a lot to be desired especially for the price. The Calamari had no flavor and was a bit rubbery. The lasagne tasted much like a frozen pre made one from the grocery store. The chicken Alfredo barely had any chicken in it (I never saw any but was told there were a few small pieces buried in there) and it was $30. The crab cakes were pretty good but certainly not worth $14 for one crab cake and 2 for $24. They’re double the price of most places. For dessert we also ordered a piece of cake (6 slices). The cake looked amazing but was not impressive at all, especially for $60!! It was a little dry and lacked flavor. We took the dessert home but no one finished theirs, not even my sugar & sweets loving kids. Our waitress was very nice but not attentive enough, especially considering they add their own gratuity on the ticket. She certainly didn’t do $57 worth of work. For that tip she should’ve been getting on our nerves but we barely saw her even though the restaurant was pretty much empty. We got 1 refill on our drinks and had to ask the person that brought the food out to find our waitress so we could get refills. We have both worked in the food service industry and never skimp on tips for good service but we also believe in tipping accordingly. I almost fell out of my chair when we got the $367 bill. Not in a million years was it worth almost $400 bucks to eat there. We could’ve gone to an upscale restaurant and had a mind blowing meal for that price. All in all we were extremely disappointed and would not return or recommend eating there.

Made a reservation for July 4th 2023 @730. Drove to the restaurant an hour to find out it was closed. I did not receive an email or any notification that it would be closed for the holiday. The staff at the near by hotel said it was closed ,but the restaurant sign says OPEN !?! Bad experience!

This is one of my favorite places to eat when I am traveling to Pensacola! I actually stay at the quality inn next door for this restaurant! The food is amazing, it is authentic, and the service staff is always amazing and on point! Roz is always amazing!

Great food and customer service. If you get to seat outside you get great views. Review the sides because they are personal size foods and way cheaper.

He created a special printed menu for my son & daughter-in-law’s rehearsal dinner and the selections were tailored to our favorites. I can’t say enough about the food. From his handmade crepes in the manicotti to his original heavenly batter on the eggplant parmesan to his proprietary cajun seasoning on the BBQ shrimp to his signature fluffy bread pudding (best in the world), Steve Lillo is a master of tastes and stories. We loved hearing how Steve and his lovely wife Lisa migrated to the South. And last but not least, the View of breathtaking sunsets and dolphin pods. Thank you Lillos for an unforgettable evening.

Wonderful, as has been the case everytime we have been here. The reason for the lower service rating wasn't for bad service, it is because 2 of the servers were continually talking badly about everything . Having worked in the service industry before, I understand how "some" customers can be extremely irritating ,But this was not about bad customers. I'll chalk it up to being swamped with a large party on a Saturday night...

My lemon garlic butter sauce shrimp on pena pasta was horrible! The sauce can simply be described as LEMON ONLY. SO MUCH LEMON THAT NONE OF THE OTHER FLAVORS COULD COME OUT. My wife's fish and chips fish were under cooked and mealy. I personally do not believe in returning food to the kitchen if not made right the first time. At their prices it should be right when served. All but one of my party of eight were dissatisfied with their meals. The one exception received six unopened mussels in her order. Why serve an order of steamed mussels with so many unopened, uneatable mussels? At their prices I expect better food quality. I can not and do not recommend this restraunt.

We were on a road trip through Pensacola and accidently stumbled upon this gem of a restaurant! If you go, you have to try the BBQ shrimp! Rivals anything you'd find in NOLA. Loved the stuffed mushrooms, homemade meatball, garlic bread, steak. Desserts are beautiful. Lovely atmosphere on the water with great live music. Our waitress was attentive, and we enjoyed talking to the owner Steve. We were blown away! Can't wait to return the next time we are in town. Highly recommend.

We were staying for a graduation event. We are originally from South Florida, so we have plenty of Italian and seafood restaurants to compare to. Calamari were the worst I have eaten in my life. Fired jalapenos and onions are a joke. Spaghetti are mildly bad because the sauce is missing something. Meatballs are too bready. With the prices they charge for it, should be putting some meat into the meatballs. The hostess that was seating us was new and helpless. The atmosphere later at night is OK with the live music, but next time I will just stick to Margaritaville. Bartender ladies were fantastic though.

Windows were very dirty and it could be such an amazing view. Steak was presented to us with loads of fat and parts of it tasted spoiled.

I don't know if we just picked a bad night. Ordered calamari was mushy like it was old told one of our waiters only response was they could make a new one by that time we just wanted our food. Ordered ribeye with shrimp came with potatoes & veggies. Veggies & potatoes was the best out of everything never was able to get a refill service was bad. For what we paid not happy.

Nice setting near the water and when service got backed up they brought desert put for our table complimentary. Good portion sizes also.

Great spot we found by accident after the bar a couple doors down revealed they had no real food. Was skeptical since restaurants in Pensacola have been so-so and it's Italian in an older motel, so it was questionable. But we were surprised! Great food and service. I had the Louisana shrimp on garlic bread dish and mini pizza, wife had dinner salad. We finished the night with wine, coffee and dessert by the water. Our server was great and she said the bartendermade all the deserts herself?! Yhey were great and she needs to start her own bakery! We had the turtles cheesecake and the Oreo lightcake...WOW!

Ok food but overpriced. What really irks me about this place is the complete rudeness. Stopped by the bar next door and they had blocked the parking lot, preventing people from driving through. When asked why, they immediately got an attitude and become rude beyond belief. One of the “staff” literally stated, “we’re doing so well, we don’t need your business”. Sorry. That doesn’t belong in a community that is all about connections and good relations.

Food here was great! Dont let it being attached to the Quality Inn decieve you its obviously on a completely different level.

The food was Amazing! Very authentic Italian cuisine. Best linguine and clams I have ever had. Staff was wonderful. View of Pensacola bay is awesome. Restaurant was very clean .
