This Mexican restaurant is a must stop if you're in the Branson area! Aesthetically, it didn't match the vibe, but the food is OUTSTANDING - some of the best Mexican food I've ever had. Their homemade tamales are flavorful and perfect, rice was so good and the perfect texture and my agua fresca was great. I will be back when I'm in the area again!

Such a great experience for dinner. Nicole was wonderful. El popo drink was a work of art. Food was delicious. Churros filled with a yummy vanilla cream.

The fish ceviche was really good! Salsa as one would expect. Tacos not so much. We had gone on a taco Tuesday all excited but the tortillas ended up soggy and too much meat in them making it soggy. (feels weird complaining about too much food but here I am haha) check it out. I’d go back next time I’m there.

Great food. We had a large party but you still expect better and faster service than we had. It took forever to get our drinks and place orders. I would go back but with a smaller group.

The food here is absolutely amazing it’s gourmet Mexican food for cheap and I live in a Hispanic community and this food doesn’t touch the food back home highly recommended and it’s very clean here and you can watch them make your food

I really admire what owner Fidel has done to nurture and grow this place into a sort of local institution in Hollister. We have been eating here for as long as I can remember but they have upgraded presentation and atmosphere considerably with a recent remodel. Both locations are solid but we tend to favor the Hollister location for the Downing Street vibe. Bacon wrapped shrimp is my go to here.

My family and I really enjoyed ourselves. Great food. Rice was probably the best I’ve ever had.

We were in town for the fireworks and one of the City employees recommended this to us. It did not disappoint. The food was amazing and very big portions. They kept us full on chips and drinks. Very friendly staff. They were packed but we still had good service.

I'm not easily impressed with Mexican restaurants in Missouri, but this one checked all my boxes. The service was great, the food came out quickly, and the restaurant is located on a charming street in downtown Hollister. The ambiance was a bit stark with bright rather than warm and cozy lighting, but it was clean and comfortable. Now on to the food: First, all the "basics" were perfection: the rice, beans, salsa, and guacamole. The rice was the perfect texture and well seasoned. The beans were delicious and not too bland. They were smooth but neither runny nor stiff. The guacamole was possibly some of the best I've ever had. Next, I was excited to see my favorite Mexican fish on the menu: fish ceviche. Many places in Springfield have shrimp ceviche only. The ceviche was delicious. Everyone in my group tried it and liked it, even those who aren't really fish fans. It has a nice balance of flavors. Also, my husband's fish tacos were possibly the best I've had in Missouri. I know that's not saying a lot, but I genuinely liked these and they had all the things I'm looking for: corn tortillas, breaded and deep fried, cabbage (not lettuce), and chipotle crema. I was also impressed with my mom's beef enchilada. The sauce was a delicious homemade chili type sauce, not the typical red stuff out of a can. Finally, I'm quite possibly the most picky person I know when it comes to margaritas, and I really enjoyed their top shelf margarita. It was a good blend of sweet and sour, not too strong or too weak, and I could taste real agave. The presentation was nice too. Oh, and my brother's horchata also scored big points for both taste and presentation. It was very good, cinnamon forward, and came garnished with a horchata popsicle! This is now probably my favorite restaurant in the Branson area--definitely the best Mexican restaurant in Branson--and I will be returning.

The service was amazing! Very friendly staff! We ordered the margarita flight in a Friday so it was half priced and we all loved them! The fajitas came out amazing the trio for one was plenty of food! Overall amazing experience! We will be coming back!

Everything was superb, beautifully served.

Extremely surprised in all the right ways! After being let down food wise since moving down here from Chicago I wasn't expecting much once I gazed upon the prices of the menu. However right off the bat are waitress was extremely polite and informative about everything on the menu. The chips and salsa were outstanding and constantly being filled drinks were never empty! Our waitress was very personable and sweet to are pup too bringing Badger water also. The entrees were piping hott still on skillets very large beautifully arranged portions of food priced at fast food prices for nothing short of excellence and superb quality! Very happy and we WILL be back!

Service was a bit slow, but understaffing is a national problem. Everything we ate was delicious: chips & salsa, supreme burrito, and NY strip with stuffed poblano. There wasn't a wait for a table at prime dinner time, probably because it's not too close to the strip. Large draft beers and margarita pitchers are available. I'd highly recommend this place for tourists who want quality Mexican food while avoiding the crowds.

When I come to Branson this is always on my list. Always start with the quacamole which is made at your table exactly as you like it! Delicious! Wonderful service and clean, welcoming restaurant.

Great looking restaurant. Very clean and extremely welcoming. My wife has eaten here before and was very impressed with the food quality on her prior visit. However, the tacos she had yesterday were just good and not great. We will return again though.

As someone from Oklahoma who loves texmex style mexican food, this is the absolute best Mexican food I have ever had in my life. I have been to both locations and they both are awesome. We come here everytime we are in Branson. I could eat here everyday!

We ate there for the first time and it was absolutely delicious! Salsa and queso are really good! My fajitas were really tasty! Roberto was our server and he was so nice. Very clean restaurant. Highly recommend!

So far, we have not found a true Mexican restaurant that would make any Mexican proud. They are more of a Mexicant than a Mexican restaurant. Pancho Villa, on the strip, comes closer.

We don't believe the hostess spoke English. She had the guess write their own names in the binder book and then didn't use you name when your table was ready. Simple went up to people and asked "table for whatever?". A lot of people just left. Food and service was okay. We came here over a year ago and it was excellent then.

You guys need to get your story strait. I am a chef and I've been in the business for about 40 years. I was going to go to the Hollister restaurant with a half a dozen of my relatives last Sunday but I couldn't get anyone to pick up a phone. I called a dozen times on Monday then decided I'd take my guest and just show up without a reservation only to find out YOUR UNDER CONSTRUCTION AND AREN'T EVEN OPEN FOR BUSINESS which is NOT on your website. I was MORTIFIED and took the group to El Patio....I WILL NEVER BE BACK and as a chef I was extremely disappointed. FIX YOUR WEBSITE...HOW EMBARRASSING

Last night was our first visit to Little Hacienda. I ordered the Burrito Supreme and my wife ordered a cheese Chile Relleno. Both dishes were superb. The Chili con Carne on my burrito was excellent. The batter on the Chile Relleno was just the right lightness in texture, not overwhelming the other ingredients. The sides of rice were very good as well. The chips and salsa was exceptional too. We could actually taste the cilantro in the salsa. Our only negative was the slight runny texture of the refried beans. Our waiter Roberto was attentive and friendly. This place is well worth a visit. Oh, and the deep fried Ice Cream is awesome!

This is a great place in downtown Hollister, Missouri. For lunch we had the Tacos Pastor and the Burrito Supreme. There are many interesting fish and shrimp options on the menu that will draw us back to try!

We went for lunch and we weren't disappointed. The service was delightful and the food served hot and fresh. The restaurant was clean, bright, and decorated with a variety of items which included some historical photos of the area. The fresh made guacamole is excellent and the trees leche cake is a must have.

Everything we had was over salted. Nothing special about any component of the meal. To top it off, I asked before ordering is Thursday half off pitchers as the menu stated and was told yes. The bill came and the pitcher was $20 so I asked is that half off? Answer, YES. THAT IS RIDICULOUS A $40 PITCHER. Will never return and would recommend you go to one of the other of the many similar restaurants in the area.

I had the shrimp burrito with queso and chipotle sauce. It had a ton of flavor. I’ll definitely be back!!

Had lunch there on Thursday while exploring the old downtown Hollister. The food was really good and our waiter, Roberto, was great. My wife and I both ordered off of the lunch menu which is very reasonably priced. We had fun watching these two ladies behind us that ordered the Happy Hour pitcher of Margaritas and enjoying themselves. I would definitely eat here again.

This is my family's #1 restaurant in Branson/Hollister. Great food, prices are affordable for an entire family and such great service.

Was looking for something off the beaten path away from Branson and man did we find it! Everything we had was outstanding. I had the Shrimp Tacos and my fiancé had the chicken asada tacos. Both were more then we could eat. This is a hidden gem!

It was a very cozy place with the friendliest staff and customers. I and my husband met a couple sitting at a table next to us. We socialized like we knew each other all our lives. Couple was from the state of Alabama. And the restaurant nestled in a Dutch historical village had the most amazing delicious Mexican food. This should be on your bucket list. Wonderful hidden gem! The food and drinks were full of flavor. The menu has all of the regular things , but their specialty dishes are over the top! I ate the pechuga napolitana and am so sad that my hometown restaurants don't have this dish. I can't wait to visit Branson again if for nothing else, this restaurant.

First time there to eat. Very good food. The only problem I had was margaritas. Each of us ordered one. We just said we want a margarita when we ordered, the waiter took it upon himself to add on the bill top shelf margarita at $12. He should have asked if that was what we wanted. They were also sweet.

No wait, wonderful service from Roberto - I definitely recommend the hot sauce- Mui Caliente!!!! We waited just a few minutes for a food, and it tasted authentically great.

Our group of 16 adults and children had dinner tonight at Little Hacienda. It was the first time there for all of us. The server was very friendly and handles our group efficiently. The menu was not the typical Mexican menu with combo #1, 2, 3, etc. The entrees we ordered were delicious! I had the chili relleno, which took up an entire plate - huge Pablano pepper stuffed with beef and cheese, deep fried and topped with queso fresco, sliced avocado, and I asked for queso sauce instead of red sauce on top. It was the best chili relleno I’ve ever had. It also came with beans and rice on another dish, but I was so stuffed from the entree that I didn’t have room for either. The kids menu had about 10 options - something for everyone - from grilled cheese to enchiladas. Several adults ordered from the drink menu, and the drinks were beautifully presented and tasty. Highly recommend this restaurant, and will return again when we’re in Branson next time!

Love this place! If you want great Mexican food and wonderful atmosphere then this is the place for you! I have been here several times and the service is always friendly and then the food is equally amazing!

Food was very bland….it tasted like taco night at the nursing home. It felt like an Asian restaurant not a Mexican restaurant. $160 later and do not recommend.

As I'm a currently sitting in the restaurant I wanted to take time to write this. What a horrible place the food is the most bland food ever. They did not season anything. The cheese dip looked like it came out of can. Definitely not working 160 for 6 people. AVOID AT ALL COST , NOT WORTH MONEY.

Been awhile since we ate here. Food was bland, service was ok. Not worth $93 for 4 people. Only 1 margarita. Will not go back. Not worth steakhouse prices

Took our group of 13 and had good time. I didn't care for the taste of the burger in the chimichanga but overall everyone was pleased. Waitress was great!

Great service. Kind and smiling faces. Jeanne had the shrimp burrito bowl, which she loved, and I had the cheese enchilada and bean tamale. Was too hungry to wait as you can tell by my plate pic. Yum!!! Salsa was just delicious and hard to stop eating to save room for our lunch. Taking home a flan to share(yah, right). This is Jeanne we are talking about. LMAO!. Margarita to top it off so...We'll be back.

Disappointed in the quality and quantity of the food. Been a few months since our last visit. It seems Little Hacienda is trying to appeal to the upper echelon in their meal presentation and upscale drinks. Food portions were very small and just mediocre at best. Not at all what we were expecting from previous visits. I think most people don't care about fancy presentation or portion control but willing to pay for good food at a good value which this was not. There are other choices in Branson sorry Little Hacienda we won't be back.

Hubby and I enjoyed a late lunch on taco Tuesday! It's been a few months since we visited this restaurant and we liked the updated menu and bar offerings. I enjoyed the chicken tacos (Baja tacos I think) and my husband had the #6 (chicken enchilada and another enchilada). Salsa is always great. Our server seemed distracted and we had to ask for more tea, water and salsa. It was fine though.
