We went to eat today before noon, 😋 and the food was delicious... I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT. The bathrooms are very clean. Bye.!!!

My first time at this place! The food is average! It's not bad, it's good! I don't recommend the octopus! What a disappointment! But the worst thing about the place! The service! The waitresses are in a hurry! They don't listen to you! And they want to get you out of the way! The prices are good! But the service is terrible! No vuelvo

It used to be a good place to eat. Today the food was terrible. I ordered pulpo and it was really hard the girl told me “pulpo is like that” After living 10 years in Spain and traveling around I know a little be about pulpo. Then I ordered a churrasco and it was terrible. Mala comida extremely disappointed

Ceviche Locura Marina, Ceviche Mixto, Ceviche de Mariscos, and Ceviche de Pescado are the reasons I go there. But, everything on the menu is delicious. It's a must try spot if you're in the area.

I arrived today 06/16/24 crazy to get the usual and when I got home I'm eating with my parents I found a cockroach in my food I called the place and the lady had the audacity to ask "are you sure it's not a onion "believe me I know what an onion looks like, sadly I will never come back as much as I used to come here a lot, I feel so sick and nauseous I am so traumatized

I bought some takeaway menus, and what a disappointment, loin with peas and huancaína potatoes....it would be more like loin with onion and tomato and a lot of rice...where are the peas???? And the huancaína not even an olive or egg.... They must be more careful and generous with the quantities!!!

Unfortunately we were deceived by the people who work here. When we were leaving I asked the waitress if the tip was included and she told us no. I then took out cash to give him because one can never tip 20%. After doing the numbers we realized that the tip WAS included. So we paid double tip (for slow service {there were 2 tables}). This happened on April 19. We will not return.

One of the best Peruvian restaurants in New York and New Jersey. I live in Manhattan and I love going with my family to enjoy their delicious dishes. Everything is very fresh. The good quality of the food is felt in every bite. A delicious experience in Peruvian food.

It is a very good place for Peruvian food, they have a wide variety of dishes that can be fish, seafood and meat. The place is large, the service is very friendly and the dishes are delicious, you have two options, the menu of the day which has a value close to 15 dollars and a la carte dishes, in our case we took the second option, my husband ordered a lomo saltado, he mentioned that it tasted very good but the meat was a bit tough. For my part, I ordered a fish that came with white sauce, seafood and a little cheese, accompanied by rice. Regarding the dish, I have no comment to make other than it was just delicious. The dishes on the menu were priced between 18 and 4 dollars. I highly recommend this place.

I just bought a fish, a fried snapper, and it has a bad smell and a horrible taste. The food is very bad and I paid a lot for such bad food.

The quality of the food compared to the price are far from each other, I have been visiting this place for years and lately the quality of the food has lost a lot, I think they changed the chef while the prices have gone up. I don't recommend it nor do I think it's worth it.

This place was absolutely amazing and the portions were absolutely huge. I didn't get my order of maduros per the check but I would still recommend this place.

La parihuela pésima era aguada sin sal ni sabor, parecía agua con mariscos, el chaufa, el sabor era bueno pero el arroz sobre cocinado, la atención de la mesera fue buena y amable, el local limpio pero al pagar me cobraron por los taper de la comida que no comí y la bolsa que me dieron, Waooo es la primera ves que un restaurante me cobra eso, y la propina lo cobrar en la boleta y no especifican de qué es, nunca mas volveré a este restaurante pésimo si ubiese menos estrellas le pongo menos 5.

La comida es 7/10. La atencion al cliente es buena. Lo unico malo es que aveces alguna comida esta un poco mala como el arroz con leche o el ceviche, otras veces sabe bien. Tambien aveces el lugar huele fuerte a productos de limpieza y quita el apetito. Actualizare mi review si noto mejoria.

Thebtallarin chifa was truly disappointing. No flavor whatsoever. Also, the soy sauce tasted burned. Medium sized portion. Mediocre service. No one around. Long wait to see someone to help you. I expected better. I have to go to passaic to get a good dish. On top of it, parking is a nightmare around here. 😫

I rate this experience a 2.3. this is a Peruvian place. I was disappointed. Got there for lunch, and literally had to sit myself. It appears this is more of a fast food service place not a restaurant. The server which there was only one initially was covering basically all the tables 12 of which had patrons. I had to request the menu, and it took a bit of time to get it. The server was in a hurry and asked to take order for everything at once, apps, main plate etc. I ordered the fish Ceviche, which delicious, soupy, full of flavors, cilantro, onions, with sweet potatoe, which i ordered an add'l side of, really good. Ordered el bistec de pobre (poor person's steak) had 2 eggs, double the meat, a bit hard, rice, sweet plantains, french fries. I also ordered the fried red snapper which when you look at the pictures you'd be amazed about the size, and color, and crispness, however the texture for some reason the meat on the fish was a bit tough which is unusual for red snappers. I believe it was refried. I had it with extra onions (encebollado) and a salad which they failed to serve as i requested it, and i had to pay extra for it. No dessert... the worst part of this experience was when i requested to take the leftovers home. That was an adventure. I was not informed the containers, all of the ones you need to take food home they charge you. I found out cause i always check the bill looking for hidden charges, which it happened. I was charged for 4 containers after asking the owner. He indicated everyone is doing it which in ALL the places I've visited not once had this ever happened. No dessert....i will not be coming back here as the experience left a sour taste in my mouth. It wasn't about the customer experience for this establishment. It is about just making money period.

Encontre una mosca en un vaso con hielo. Me desanime y me fui enseguida. Se Que puede aver insectos en cualquier cocina pero ya no me atrevi a pedir nada de comer. Ojo la comida es riquisima. Pero por el momento no volvere a este restaurant. Mi humilde opinion oct 6/2022

This is a very local place...food is really good...however needs a lot of improvement with the seating and tables...also a on the cleanness....better of if you take out.

I visited this place frequently pre pandemic and just recently returned. Ordered a Jalea as an appetizer & I was annoyed it came after my my meal. I thought the point of an appetizer was to eat as you wait for your food? But not here I guess. Anyways, the Jalea did not taste like anything. The onion they spread on top was not marinated how usual peruvian spots do. It was dry and only had two yuca fries, no shrimp and was missing way more seafood. Oh and the service was terrible.There’s way better peruvian spots on bergen line than this place. Giving 2 stars because I actually enjoyed the chica morada. That’s all.

We have been trying to give a chance to our local restaurants and this one......💞 is a keeper 😋 prices are super affordable and food was yummy. We had JALEA and PESCADO RELLENO DE MARISCOS, both dishes were outstanding 👌 For drinks we order a pitcher of a mix juices, pineapple,strawberry and mango, very refreshing.

Good restaurant for Peruvian food. I especially like the ceviche pescado which is raw white fish smothered in onions and lime juice. Before I met my south American wife I would never have eaten raw fish, but the first time I ate it I couldn't believe how good it was. We were a party of 6 and we ordered a jalea which is a sampler of various fried fish.Wonderful.

I went here on Fathers Day with extended family. A cousin called ahead and reserved a table for 17 people. They gave away our tables before we got here because they needed them. We only had to wait about 20 minuted for them to get a large enough table for us. We did have to put our children (11,11,8,7) at a different table to begin with until another became available. The service was good considering it was Father’s Day! The food….was DELICIOUS! The waitress did a fantastic job. She checked off all that had gotten their food to check and see what was left. I had lomo saltado, ceviche, and papa huacania. My kids had chicken fried rice and loved it. The portions were huge. I recommend sharing meals. We did not have dessert! The restrooms were small and okay. They could have used a cleaning and air freshener at the time I used it. It wasn’t terrible but always opportunities. Overall I rate this a 4, mainly because of the food and service we did receive on Father’s Day. It could have been way worse under the circumstances. If you are looking for Peruvian food I would definitely recommend coming here. Just a heads up, parking can be a bit challenging. So I do recommend parking in a park garage and giving yourself enough time to park.

This rating is solely for the ceviches. I have had all of the ceviches, mixed and fish only, spicy and non-spicy. I love it. Very good. I also tried a lomo de pollo, not good. Stick to the ceviches. I’ve tried ceviches from other restaurants in Bergenline, this one is a winner. I think their cleanliness can also be something they work on, I don’t think waitresses should spray windex on to tables as other people are eating…. Smell and spray spreads.
