Very much enjoyed their croissants. They are the type a pastry chef would examine and award.

There’s a reason there’s always a line out the door. These are absolutely the best croissants I’ve ever had! The second best doesn’t even come close. I don’t know what magic they’re doing but I’m here for it.

Always pleasantly suprised by not only the quality of the goods here but also the kindness and generosity of the lovely woman who run it. The only real bakery I know of in the LoDo area. Bring your pet by to get a polaroid on the wall!!!

This bakery is hands down the best in Colorado! The pastries are incredible, the staff is wonderful, and best of all they use European flour for many of their pastries. Not all, so make sure to ask, but a lot of them. This not only produces very delicious, high quality pastries, but if you can't eat wheat in the US but have no problem with it in Europe, you can eat these pastries!!! Again, make sure you ask so you know which ones are made with European flour. If I eat American wheat I'm in extreme pain for 24+ hours. But eating the pastries here made with European flour doesn't bother me at all. Thank you for making these!!! Come support them everyone, it's hard for a small business to survive.

very cool space and their baked goods are delicious, however the croissants have an extremely hard/flaky dark exterior as if they might be over baked which isn't my preference. the dog treats also seem to be over baked but I'm sure most dogs don't care. be sure to check 'em out.

UPDATE (original post below): The bakery contacted me after my initial review and made a genuine, much appreciated effort to make things right after the double charging error. I rarely post reviews on Google so I’m not sure how many businesses take the time to respond but LoDough did so hats off to them. As I mentioned in my initial review, the key lime cookies I bought were very tasty and I do intend on returning to see what else they have. ORIGINAL: I bought some cookies from LoDough Bakery today and they were good but they charged me double so I probably won’t be going back. I probably should have caught their error when I was paying so it’s kind of my fault as well, but still, learn how to use a register.

LoDough Bakery is a required stop for me when in downtown Denver. I’m sure to get there around 9:45 or so as a line begins to form in preparation for their opening. My kids sometimes have a difficult time deciding on what they’d like yet the staff and even the customers behind us have never once made us feel rushed which I’m appreciative of. This bakery looks like something from a different time, there is an artisan approach not just to literally every single item for sale but even the presentation. It opens to an alleyway with tons of seating and a few open air art pieces which is a nice change of pace from the busy streets. I wish I could recommend a single item from their menu but nothing specifically stands out because each and every one has been amazing.

Everything this place makes is amazing. I stop here probably every other Saturday morning to grab some pastries, and they never disappoint. The muffins, croissants, boureka, tarts, raspberry pain au chocolate- they're all impressive.

Abby is an absolute treasure. Everyone should come here for her hospitality and positive energy. The cookies are to die for.

The croissants at this bakery are excellent. They are flaky but then buttery in the middle. They have a variety of other pastries and the service was top-notch. The person behind the counter was very friendly.

I went to LoDough Bakery for the first time this morning and feel like I discovered a hidden treasure. Picked up the Salted Caramel Hand Pie, with perfect texture, sweetness (not overdone), and ultra flakiness. Just perfect! Can't wait to return for more. The bakery owner is equally sweet and gracious. I wish every day started off this well.

Hands down the best bakery in Denver. My go-to for incredible loaves of bread- both for when I entertain and trying to impress my guests, and when it’s just my hubby and I smashing carbs on the couch. A+

Awesome bread without preservatives. French wheat flown in for their baguettes. Beautiful Challah and tasty sourdough. Plus, their small baked treats. All of it, wonderful. Happy to patron this local bakery!

My wife brought these baked goods from Denver as a treat. So glad she did! They were beautifully wrapped and fresh. The baguette went perfectly with our spaghetti dinner. Even our daughter ate a ton of it. Challah was delicious, I had to stop myself from eating more before dinner. The winner was the croissant! The buttery goodness cannot be beat! Can't wait for more! Best baguette I’ve had in Denver

I have tried different bakeries in Denver, and fortunately stumbled on this one. I am hooked. So far I tried the almond croissant and pain au chocolate. By far the best in town. Looking forward to trying their sourdough.

Such a cute shop and vibe. The owner was so so sweet and the baked goods tasted and looked amazing!! She had a polaroid wall with pictures of regular costumers pets and she told us stories of a few pets. It seems like she really cares about her costumers and it just added to the experience!! Definitely recommend this adorable place!!!

I got the special chocolate hazelnut croissant and it was heavenly. I also got a loaf of sourdough! Beautiful delicious loaf!

My first visit to the Dairy Block and I'd call it a win! I'm headed back for dinner tonight and hope it will live up to my experience at LoDough. Great baked goods and extremely friendly service. I had a potato and onion croissant and a blueberry scone today. This is exactly the type of bakery I've been looking for in Denver. I've found a few others that have the variety and quality, but LoDough is located near Milk Market and the alley is a perfect place to sit and enjoy great baked goods. It paired nicely with a latte from Huckleberry Roasters, just inside Milk Market. I was so impressed with the croissant that I pre-ordered an apple pie to take to my hosts at Thanksgiving. The highlight of my day so far.

Amazing bakery, so cute. Finally a bakery that also has Gluten Free Cookies and Cupcakes and doesn’t jack the price up. My husband is highly allergic to wheat and we are so appreciative of not having to pay extra due to a medical condition. Thank you so much. We will be back. The lady who I believe owns the e bakery was so nice and friendly. Please check this place out. You won’t be disappointed.

Trust me when I say this bakery has the best croissant / pain au chocolat you’ll ever have in the US. This is coming from a New Yorker who’s tasted some of the best bakeries in the Big Apple. I also got a fruit danish and banana bread. All superb. Whoever is behind LoDough is a pastry genius.

I’ve walked past this bakery a few times and been anxious to try it. We got the ham and cheese croissant, chocolate croissant, and gluten-free banana bread chocolate chip muffin. Everything was incredible. The best part was the sweet woman at the counter — She was so friendly!

Stumbled upon this spot when taking my dog out for a walk and decided to grab a loaf of bread to enjoy with dinner that evening. Everything looked SO delicious. I got the seeded sourdough, lemon blueberry scone, and brown butter pecan cookie. The cookie was to die for (get it... you won't regret it), and the bread was delicious and has stayed pretty fresh for a couple days when stored properly. They also gave my dog a free pumpkin-peanut butter treat that he gobbled up! If I was local, this would be on my regular rotation.

Such an amazing and cute little place! We were too excited to take cute pictures of our food, we ate it so fast! The ham and cheese croissant, the carrot cake croissant, and the bread were amazing. I wish we had this in our city, thank you for existing!

Expensive, but probably not for the location. Very good Pain au Chocolat. Very disappointed that the neighboring coffee shop, Huckleberry, doesn't sell their baked goods.

Best thing I got: Passionfruit croissant What I might skip next time: Bob tart & apple caramel hand pie. Everything here looks amazing, the presentation will make you want to order 1 of each. I love to try any little bakeries I see when traveling so had to stop here. Staff were nice and gave some info about the pastries. Passion fruit croissant was the best out of the 5 things I picked out, I won’t be able to forget that filling! When I find myself in Denver again I’d definitely get more croissants and some bread. I also got a pretzel that was legit, even came with mustard. The Bob tart and apple caramel hand pie just left something to be desired. If you’re in the area check this place out!

Wasn’t planning on stopping but after walking by and smelling how good everything smelt, I waited 20 minutes for them to open. Wow!! Ordered a chocolate crescent and I have never seen that many layers in a pastry. It was perfect. Potato and onion was also very good. Staff is super friendly and cheerful. Will definitely be back next time I’m in Denver

We snagged a surprise grab bag off of the Too Good to Go app for this bakery and it was such luck! They were so nice & even let us pick another pastry for our surprise bag. Everything we had was so good. The pecan cookie was AMAZING. The pretzel was unassuming but full of herbs and savory. All around really delicious baked goods! A lovely atmosphere with super friendly staff 💛

Go to this bakery !!! Everything in there is amazing. I stopped in for a drink and had the most delicious bottle of home made lemonade ever! Then I started looking around and got a pretzel, a baguette and a chocolate croissant. Everything was a 10. Some of the most delicious baked items I’ve ever tasted. I want this bakery to be there forever, so go and buy things. Also, they are really really nice people. Two enthusiastic thumbs up 👍👍

We got the passion fruit croissant which was stellar and the pain au chocolat, which was ok - not enough chocolate in my opinion. But both were extremely flaky.
