Had an awesome breakfast on our way to Bar Harbor from Portland.

Food was excellent. Must check out baked goods. Staff friendly.

Their seafood stew is another level. They are just heavenly!!!! I would drive 10 hrs just for their seafood stew!!!!

VERY DISAPPOINTING !!!.. Having read a piece on the web about this place, I went out of my way to get their waffles & Chicken. I got the at 7:30 AM, and was told they "just opened" and was cleaning the fryer so I couldn't get chicken !!!.. They were doing prep work on the counter with customers sitting on the other side !!! One customer kept coughing & had to be going on the food they were making !!..DO YOUR PREP WORK BEFORE YOU OPEN !!! I ordered a "Grilled Blueberry muffin; IT CAME COLD !!! POOR, JUST POOR !!!

Great little family diner. Went with a party of 7 and was quickly accommodated. Staff was very friendly and everything came out good. The fresh baked bread they use for toast is to die for.

Stopped on our way home from bar harbor enroute to PA. Loved sitting and listening to the three older gentlemen talk about how the U.S.A. used to be. Great food. Huge portions. Friendly staff. Clean facility. Highly recommend!

If you happen upon Lori’s Café you should be delighted. This is my second visit. It’s made of a nostalgia-based authenticity greeted by the owner, her husband, a cook and baker. The food flows and your coffee’s filled and you can tell, this fine group of people will fill your day (and your belly).

A cute little diner. Walls are covered with lots of funny signs to keep you entertained while you read and wait on your food. The food was delicious. Cash only but there is an atm Nextdoor at the circle k if needed.

I LOVE this place! It’s so homey and open. Clearly has regulars which gives it such a warm feeling. The food was AMAHZING. I really made quite a happy pig of myself. 🐷🤗

Absolutely wonderful! Stopped in for pancakes (huge) and got lobster rolls and biscuits and gravy. I'm from the South and this is possibly the best biscuits and gravy I've ever had. Lobster rolls are buttery hot and perfect!

Great spot. Our daughter-in-law recommended it when we were visiting. Her grandparents used to regulars, they were in there time. The food was good The selection was really great and listening to the locals was great. Everyone knew each other and that was fun to to see

Such a cute and fun restaurant! Heather and the rest of the team are so kind and wonderful! I had the lobster roll and i switched the chips for sweet fries and i would definitely do that again! The highlight of the meal was definitely the chocolate peanut butter cake and the apple, blueberry, peach pie! This was a perfect stop on our way up! Will definitely come back!

Tremendous road diner to find. Very nice country diner food is tremendous ( just like Mom made ). The staff is very friendly, helpful and quick. Juice comes in a small mason jar. I had the blueberry pancakes and they were loaded with Maine blueberries . Also have homemade muffins, cornbread, pies and cookies to choose from. I will definitely look to go again. Did I say the food was great 👍👍👍

Lori's is the go-to spot for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, and are very good about posting their hours & specials on FB almost every day. the serving staff is unfailingly polite & helpful, Lori & her kitchen team do great work, and the love for her community is obvious. we often get takeaway and sit in the shade at LSG Brewing.

Not a bad breakfast on the menu. An annual pilgrimage for us. Donut sandwich a must.

Got there 10 minutes before closing and they were gracious enough to put up a take out order for us. Great service and food!

Great small diner! Friendly staff and tasty food. We both ordered burgers. Do not pass on the dessert, it was delicious! Definitely recommend!

We've known Lori for 3 decades or more. She was always a fun waitress at multiple family diners in the area. Very happy that she was able to open her own diner a couple decades ago. Lori's Cafe is often close to full and definitely worth a short wait to be seated. You will be waited on promptly, you meal will be timely and taste great. Do take the time to read or purchase the funny signs and nik naks.

Delicious lobster roll! The perfect amount of mayo and the roll was buttered to perfection! The service was even better all friendly and welcoming!

I couldn't ask for anything better from Lori's Cafe. My sausage gravy, biscuits, with egg and Cajun home fries were delicious!!! I took a 6" tall whoopie pie and a blueberry muffin home to enjoy another day. I haven't tried them yet, but they smell and look delicious! The price was right at Lori's as well. But, the best part were the locals helping this tourist find something to do after breakfast and the lighthearted banter of the staff. I'll definitely be back if I'm in the area again!

This place is amazing. We stopped here on our way to Acadia and we are so happy we did. Fantastic food, service and atmosphere. The staff was well humored and it just felt like you were at moms house. Make a stop here!

Me and my buddies stopped at Lori’s during my brothers bachelor party in Maine. There were 8 of us and Lori’s had no problem accommodating us. What an AMAZING experience we all had. This place is pure class. Hospitality at its finest. The food was as fresh as it gets and you can taste the love. We were totally blown away and cannot recommend this establishment enough. Thank you again from Mike and Kevin!!!

Kids loved the hot dogs and grilled cheese. I highly recommend the Reuben-perfect size for lunch and the tots were crispy and fresh. I also recommend the fried pickles. Menu online doesn't match the in restaurant menu but has a lot of overlap.

Abbiamo ordinato da asporto e mangiato nel giardino del birrificio vicino. Non ci sono molte alternative in zona. Il personale è veramente molto gentile, il vero punto di forza della loro attività. Lori's has been my family's go-to for at least the past decade; if not more! The Danielle's Go-To has kept us well-fed throughout that entire time.

Our favorite location to start our day! Delicious home cooked meals, homemade breads, donuts. Lots of great conversation. Always look forward to going there. Never leave hungry!

Everyone was so nice and the food was super good. I’m visiting from the South and On this trip I’ve tried several lobster rolls. This is my my third, and by far the best. I had it hot with butter. I usually forget to leave reviews, but this place deserves these five stars

We had a very bad experience at Lori's Cafe. Me and wife went to there Restaurant with a coupon from Restuarant .com and the waitress says to me we dont accept them anymore. Then the owner came over telling me that she would do it this time but SCOLDING ME AND WIFE in front of the customers that Pandemic has really hurt them and that is why they dont want accept them . Making us look cheap in front of everybody. NOT A GOOD PRACTICE. Will not be back....... That was months ago and you can still BUY coupon the for LORIS (Liberty Maine ) at Restuarant.com STOP SELLING THEM AND SCOLDING CUSTOMERS ESPECIALLY WHEN THEY Are WITH THERE WIFE AND IN FRONT CUSTOMERS> NOT A HAPPY CUSTOMER>

The most delicious breakfast ever!! Home made breads, fresh homemade cornbread. We talked about it for days. A gem! Great friendly service.

LOVE coming for a meal at any time. Food is always great and home cooked. Seriously tastes like I walked into my moms house and sat down at her table. The staff also treats you like family. Oh and don't forget to get their deep fried pickles. Best we have ever had!!

Update: Lori's Cafe is CLOSED until April 2022 :'( . Hope she loves her well earned break. Review: An "at home feel" atmosphere, down home cooking, friendly service. Love going there during our vacations. Lori's herself is the best, always has a smile while working hard in the back!

I certainly hope that they figure out how to maintain the way they used to be. Post COVID seems to be a trouble for most places. But Lori’s has reduced their offering. No indoor seating and raised their prices. I love the place. But this is disheartening.

Food was great! Prices were really good considering its location. I live in Belfast and can spend a lot more on a meal here then I did these. Very satisfied. And when you are done there is a great ice cream place a few feet away.
