Great food and selections! Super nice staff! Even took our photo for our big family meeting.

We stop here to eat dinner every time we pass through Auburn. We tip the sushi chef to get unagi. Buffet is very good for Chinese food, including 3 soups. I skip the desserts, salad bar, pizza, etc at the American buffet, but I sometimes get steamed fish and potatoes. Good wide selection for kids & adults. Casual, not fancy but nice. Take out is by weight, which we liked during the early days of the pandemic. Price is good.

To me. The lotus is the best. Chinese restaurant in the area. Food always tastes good. It's always warm and there's plenty to choose from.

Food tastes AMAZING and FRESH! The restaurant is also very clean, prices are quite affordable, and the customer service/hospitality is bar none. Certainly our favorite buffet restaurant to come to. Just make sure you're HUNGRY! So. Many. Options. 😍

Great fresh food even greater price for a buffet!

Very good food, friendly staff, nice atmosphere, respectable prices. Takeout available. Having said that, I would have liked to see more protein in a few of the lunch dishes, as well as a few less American cuisine items (pizza, fried chicken). These items are available everywhere in town. Overall, it was a really nice experience.

The best buffet I've ever been to hands down. Service is always great and the food is top quality.

Amazing overall I love the food and the waiter we got was hilarious and extremely respectful at the same time, this is the one place I found where the fish tastes amazing, they have a large verity of food so even if you have a picky child they will love it

Ate here July 5th, please check your iced tea. I've no clue what we paid for or were served but it was incredibly watered down and mine had black flakes floating in the bottom of my cup. Got food from the buffet (eat-in) for $16 per person and while it's good, I don't feel the prices are worthwhile if you typically only eat a single plate of food. Used to be more affordable while still offering variety, even if you didn't take anything home.

Honey chicken was hard as a rock. The food was greasy and it should not call itself sushi because there is no raw fish.

First time going to Lotus with my family and they served an amazing selection of food. Buffet is $12.50 for lunch and $14.95 for dinner.

Great buffet at reasonable prices. The food is top for taste too. Since a friend of ours took us there 2 weeks ago we have gone there 4 times and will be going again soon.

Food was cooked way to long. Everything was caramelized. Not much for options. Some things didn't taste like what they were supposed to taste like. I was not impressed with this place for the price we payed.

Restaurant was very dingy and dirty. All the rails across the top of the buffet had crusty dried food on them. I couldn't eat after seeing that.

I like coming to this restaurant because it is reasonably priced , especially with 2 younger kids. We just left there for our father's day dinner and they charge $3 more on Holidays. They added a few American dishes which were not great. They should just stick to their regular menu and prices. Also my plates piled up the whole time and we never were asked for refills.

I was in a group of 18 people. I made reservations and we were placed at 2 large tables, close together. We had a wonderful time and ate off the buffet. The food was great. We never felt rushed and we stayed a few hours. The waitress was friendly and wonderful too!!

The honey chicken and the peppered beef were amazing. The sweet and sour chicken came out fresh as we arrived. We are regulars here for the takeout buffet. $6.95 a pound for lunch. $7.95 a pound for dinner.

Never again....chicken fingers were hard and small....food was not hot and portions were very small. Very disappointed 😞

This restaurant was always our go-to in Auburn when we needed a quick meal. This visit, however, will be our last. It was a Saturday evening and the food was not the same. The crab rangoons had no flavor and very little filling, the Chinese pork was inedible with fat and everything else was very salty including the chicken wings and lo main. It’s a decent size buffet but we had trouble finding anything we enjoyed.

The food used to be really decent here. This time the hot bar food was cold, dried out, burnt and tough. The steam trays were cold. My husband used the restroom and said the sinks were not working and witnessed an employee leaving the restroom without attempting to wash his hands, toilet was clogged with Jehovah's Witness pamphlets. They tried to charge us for three people eating when only one person attempted to eat) so beware of that I guess. Obviously won't be returning again. Ever.

The sushi bar is one of the freshest and most well taken care of I've ever seen at a buffet. The cleanest tasting as well. 5 star for that alone!!! Atmosphere is dark, yet comfortable, and the staff is very pleasant. All other food was very delicious. 😋 Only thing, the dough wrapping on the egg roll and dumplings is thick and chewy. Overall, awesome 👍😎 Oh, and the rice noodles are amazing, some of the best I've ever had.

Service is very good. Parking is easy and accessible. Paying is a little confusing, not sure if you wait for the server (for buffet) or just go to the front? Prices are a little expensive - it was 80 dollars for two adults and two children, no alcoholic beverages, for buffet. Meat is a little fatty and gristly but it’s decent. Lots of choices. General Tsos and popular choices run out quickly and don’t seem to be replaced as quickly as needed, empty a lot - but they do fill them. Lots of desserts to choose from. The pictures on their website of the food make it look and appear far better than it is, and the restaurant itself is kind of dark, but it’s a friendly atmosphere and it gets the job done. Overall, I would recommend this to a friend. It won’t blow your socks off but it’s good Asian American comfort food.

*NOT THE SAME* This place has fallen well below any restaurant standards. First, this place is absolutely disgusting (See photo from just the table) and needs a deep clean or burn it down. The food tastes horrible. All the chicken products (General Tso, Honey Chicken, etc.) have no chicken in them and appear to be double fried. More than likely the previous days left overs. The egg rolls smelled like death. I'm sure something was spoiled within. (One bite and I hope I don't get food poison now.) Everything else was the same, horrible. They need to close the door clean and rethink how they prepare the food. Will never return unless I see a "Grand Reopening."

Food was cold and we were the first few customers at 11am very disappointing. We have gone a few times before and the same results so we gave it one more try. But we are done no more.

The vermicelli noodles are my favorite!!

Giving the food a 2 star because the pork fried rice seems overcooked.. the egg rolls have little to no taste and the crab ragoons all u taste is garlic… bf and I ordered our drinks, went n got food, we were almost done eating when the waiter remembered our drinks tho he got my bfs wrong, they don’t seem to particularly care about customers unless we’re paying and leaving I don’t recommend going here if you want bland food.

Not a bad place for a buffet. Alot of the food is tasty. Some of it was actually kinda gross, like the chef forgot how to cook. I'd be weary of the sushi, bf got sick after eating the sushi. The service was ok! Except for the bigger blonde hair lady hostess who seats you, twice she's been rude af. Clearly doesn't want to be there. Every customer seated after us was taken back by her rudeness as well. Rest of the staff was friendly and communicative with smiles. Attitude matters. Most patrons seemed happy and upbeat. There were 2 birthdays going on, and they come out with a gong and singing, was pretty cool to see. I want a gong announcement for my birthday now!😺. Parking is a bit difficult.

Best Chinese food buffets I've ever been to.

The food has always been good, you have many varied choices. The restaurant's cleanliness was not consistent in the past. Much cleaner and worth eating here again...

We go there every once I a while for buffet which is usually good. Tonight we got takeout which was a big mistake. The boneless ribs were dark and dried out. The chicken teriyaki and egg rolls were the same way. We'll never order takeout from here again

We go monthly, food good, place clean and service is good. These people work hard and Lotus is best in Auburn not mention only buffet but I am satisfied every time I go. Price is up some like everywhere so I eat more than I used to but game still on.

I've been here many times, mostly good experiences. Food was hot this time. In the past it seemed like the steamers were off. Good variety of options that seem fresh. Overall good flavor and not too salty like some. They have sushi but if your a sushi fanatic don't expect too much but still good though. A great dessert bar and good hard serve ice cream. Great place to bring the kids to. Friendly staff keeps the table cleared.

Bruh my chicken was raw and burnt at the same time dawg. But my waiter was chill I think it was the Asian one but he was cool

The food here is awesome but I think it’s time they upgrade the dining area. It’s looks and feels dirty. Almost every place we sit there is paint peeling, dust is caked on the lights above the tables, and on blinds. They have staff that sit on their cell phones near where we eat why not have them pick up a duster

I've eaten here a handful of times already , once dine in , twice take out & once buffet by the lb (Christmas Eve) !! Both times getting from the buffet the food was delicious , hot , fresh & continuously stocked ! Christmas Eve was busy but they kept up with it well , I was in & out in about 10 mins ! Both times getting take out the food was awesome , ready in a timely manner & still hot when I got it home about 40 mins later 😊 I will continue to get food here , it's become a favorite !

Best buffet post-covid. Maybe ever. The flavor in the food was amazing. Crab rangoons are made in house and we're the best I've had yet. Food was hot, not dry, tasty and the options were great. Everything I've come to expect and still more. This visit on 1/13/24 was my first. I'll be coming back. Also, staff was friendly, prompt and helpful. Eat here. You won't regret it.

This is my go to for variety of foods. Chinese, sushi, kids bar, salad and desserts. Were else can you go and eat 5 things off the menue for one price. Yum

I ordered for pickup, and when I got home the order was wrong, I called and they didn't give me any solution, they just told me that “it tasted delicious”, that was disgusting, we threw everything in the trash, I lost 50 dollars

Great Food, Fair Price… Good Table Service

Went in on the 14th of this month, and compared to the last few months the quality of their food has declined severely. The exterior of all their chicken was extremely chewy, and sucked the juices from the chicken inside, making the chicken itself chewy too. Not to mention their mushrooms being completely raw. The service was alright, it was the usual greeting and seating but definitely could have been much better. The place itself is very pretty looking, but DEFINITELY could have been cleanlier. The buffet area was a bit dirty and had some food on the floor. Overall a 4/10, but don't go here anytime but dinner. Their morning chef needs to step it up.

Another family oriented atmosphere! I always love to try to find my favorite harmonious environment. When it's busy, you watch friendly business hustles and are fairly served seats. They want your business! Take out is always fair timed and served, pack desirability in fashion. Fresh, tasty, not too complex. 😋 100% satisfied with not too high expectations. Americans do love this restaurant. Hint hint, it's catered for you, not a high-end snob to encounter. Those expectations should have their own cook! This is the JAM!!!!!! AH HUH!

Honest, I had high expectations going into this establishment. Being rated at a 4.3 is unheard of. The best item I had was the cheese pizza. They did not have coconut shrimp and the shrimp they did have was purely rancid. I remember this place being much better in the past but tonight I was highly disappointed with the taste. Crab Rangoon was tasteless, Lo Mein was plain. Maybe it just was a bad night. Maybe I’ll try it in the future and update this review. But that won’t be anytime soon..

For the 3rd time in a row, I asked for hot mustard. And of course once again, nothing. That's the last time I'll waste my time and money on these people. It's like a taco without hot sauce. I wouldn't even want it. Thanks again for ruining my meal.

Really love this place! As far as buffet food goes it is quite excellent! Always hot, fresh and yummy! I highly recommend the Jalapeno Chicken and the Garlic Shrimp 🦐!

1st time there today 12/2/23 & heard many good things about Lotus Everyone I know goes there loves & goes anytime they can! It definitely hit the spot! Good variety and things for picky kids like pizza mozzarella sticks onion rings and ice cream & other desserts at the buffet. The workers are all so sweet and I just adore them & appreciate their hard work! We had a big group today 30+ people Excellent service and great prices! Have large tip bc they run around & clean up after us ALOT! They earned it to me! Only complaint is ice cream scoop area and some others are pretty yucky snd germy. Bathroom was kinda gross. Everything else was great! I do recommend! Wish ice cream was soft serve less touching of things bc I'm a germ phone but I dealt w it well! 😂 Thanks for amazing food and customer service!

I oddly wanted to check out this buffet my Curiosity got the best of me.I went to this About 2 days ago and got seated buy thus short Chinese man in this disgusting seat the furniture was peeling off and the sliver-wear was sticky and dirty🤢 that was one sign I don’t know if they was just lazy to clean it was about 6 pm when i went i asked for a new sliver-wear and received a cleaner one thankfully after about 3 minutes i went to eat i got some pasta ,pizza and crab, I first tried the pizza which almost made me throw up I'm actually so serious it had one big fat tomato in the middle 🤢🤢 after i tried the pasta which i was already traumatized the pasta which was cold like cold cold I don’t know why past would be cold at a buffet i didn't even want to eat no more the only thing that was good was the ice cream but duh i never want to come nor imagine myself here in my life I don’t recommend guys!!.

Very un-appetizing place. I came in very hungry to see my table being dirty and the plates and cups being sticky. My food was cold at the bottom and looks like it was very old. Staff wasn’t very nice either rushing for me to order. I left the place very full even though i did not eat anything. Will definitely not be coming back

I love the green beans, the thin pasta and veggies, the chicken teriyaki on a stick, and the fresh plums for dessert 🤤🤤🤤 obviously there is so much more Delicious at this buffet. Our family can always enjoy our individual favorites. Kids love the hand scooped ice cream sundae bar. We will be making the hour and a half trip back a again. 👏👏😎

Buffets took a beating during covid. Some closed and never reopened. We love Chinese buffets and were glad to find this one. Will go back. Food was good and variety too.

Food was nasty.. Weird flavors.. Chicken fingers could not chew.. The ladies room was so nasty... I had to keep my nose covered just to go ... Won't be going there again.. Not worth it..

This is a very good place, thanks to the Wu brothers and their tireless efforts. Auburn is lucky to have such a resource for the hungry. It also donates to a local food bank . . .

Place was as cold as a barn, made the food cold, IF it was even warm to start. The guy making sushi was blowing/wiping his nose, not sure he washed his hands afterwards. He looked to be ill !!! The exit door in back dining room was blocked by piled up chairs.

I'm usually skeptical of buffets, and buffet sushi. I was surprised by how tasty everything was. There was someone making sushi right there. I ended up having 3 plates! Definitely will be eating here again.

Good variety, I do have to say though I really did prefer the General Tso chicken back in the beginning when they first opened, it was spicy with some sweetness now too focused on sweet

I came in to pick up the food and one Chinese woman asked me for the phone number, I said my last 4 digits then she said the total price which starts with number 3, which is the same as my last 4 phone number. I thought she grab the wrong bag so I repeat my last 4 again nicely. Now, she starts to raise her voice repeating that total amount. I was like… this is not nice and kinda rude. This is not the way you talk with customers especially you are in front greeting everyone. Sometimes, thing gets confused or needs explaining etc. but front of house staff always has to communicate properly and nicely. I own the restaurant too and the way she talk is not acceptable at all.

I usually don’t prefer Chinese food but I was with a group of people who really wanted to eat here and can honestly say I was impressed- very good Chinese buffet and would definitely go back.

There's always great food here. Buffet syle American and Asian choices. Whoever washes the dishes though needs to take a class on washing 101 though. Despite this, i eat here weekly.
