We've been here a few times. The food is great but the service is soon slow.

Delicious food and a great view. We had a group get the shrimp dinner and the perch dinner. Everyone enjoyed their meals.

This place is incredible. We're here on vacation from Arizona and Louie's landing reminded me of a place right out of a movie with the Lakeshore atmosphere. You can park your boat or easily drive and park at this establishment. Have eaten there three times now in a 2-day period as the menu is quite good and everything we have had so far was delicious! We flew in the morning of the 4th of July and this is where we went for the fireworks show. This was one of the best fireworks displays I have seen in 46 years of living. The atmosphere was incredible. One of the few times I have been to a celebration for Independence Day where I actually felt a great sense of pride and very American. One of the most memorable nights I've had. If you live here in Wisconsin around the moose lake area and you have not been here yet, you definitely need to go check it out! The whole family highly recommends along with my mom's boss that owns this place and all of the other people that he brings throughout the year. Great! Great place!

Worst place we've ever been to. Worst service worst food. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE EVER. If I could give all ZEROS I would. The waitress lied to us several times.

Absolutely would never recommend this place. We came on Friday but it was busy so we decided to make a reservation for today Saturday. We sat and ordered at 6:20 did not get food until 8:17 and when the server realized we have no food she avoided us like the plague. Never got refills. We were starving with a falling asleep 3 year old. Finally get the food and I paid $18 for the picture attached. The chicken on everyone else's plates was way too salty. We were missing so many sides. What an awful experience all around.

After a hike around Moose Lake, 25 members of Women of Woods and Water (WoWW) had lunch at Louie's Landing. Bruce, the owner, seated all of us in the cozy and inviting side room which he had prepared in advance. For lunch, we had the choice of either soup and salad or soup, salad, and burger. Our salads were fresh and delicious with a large variety of vegetables. The soups were warm and full of flavor. The signature Louie's burger was mouthwatering. Bruce served us in a timely manner and exceeded our expectations. Many WoWW hikers stated that they would come back to Louie's with their families. TL;DR - Lovely restaurant, excellent environment, friendly service, and great food. Would definitely recommend.

Christina's Y pine recommended we come here for the Friday fish fry and it was great. The fish was Pam fried in a lightly breaded and very flavorful seasoning leaving a nice flaky fish. The baked potato and coleslaw were both very tasty and more than enough food. It was all done perfectly and the staff and owner were very friendly greeting us as we came in is as if we were locals. We immediately felt at home and had great conversations with fellow customers sitting next to us. We will definitely be back.

Exactly what I'd hope for in a bar and grill on the lake. Had the chicken strips and was very pleased with the flavor and quality. Sampled the beef french dip sandwich and was wonderfully surprised by the flavor and quality. Our menu questions were answered sincerely and promptly. Clean and quaint bar set up with friendly staff. Cools were singing along to the radio in the back. Only wish we could have stayed a bit longer.

The Friday fish fry is outstanding.

Every time I'm around the area I have to come to Louie's. Everyone there both owner, employees, and patrons are fantastic. When it gets busy you often see the local patrons getting up to help clean, or serve others. The food is delicious, especially if you get there for a Friday fish fry.

This was good for a Saturday night dinner. The ribs were great!

Kitchen closes at 830pm, which we didn't see on their website (it just says 2am) so we didn't stay (got there at 840). Not the best of experiences when your wife is hangry. Edit: They said in their reply that they serve pizza after the kitchen closes, but the man who turned us away at the door was not at all forthcoming with this (he had plenty of opportunity to), so I'm guessing the employees don't like making the pizza, so they just didn't say anything. So now I'm more annoyed at this place.

We were here once 7 years ago and waited a long time for our food. Thought it was a fluke so tried it again. Nope, not a fluke. Waited 60 full minutes for a party of 4 when there was only another party of 4 in the bar. That being said, food was hot. My Au Jus was salty but every else’s food was great. Place is cute. Bartender was very pleasant. Small town feel. If you’re starving, don’t go here and if you do go, just know that waiting for your food is the norm. Would have given it more stars if it wasn’t for the extreme wait.

Friday nite Perch fry. It is the BEST I have ever tasted! Not mushy or watery. Very meaty. Best flavor! Their coleslaw is excellent! We love going there!!

Jack is great! This place has great wifi and the chicken strips are very tasty! Don't forget they are right on the wonderful Moose Lake and the boat landing is only 5.00.

Terrific lake perch fish fry at a fair price.

2 years ago we were staying at the rental cabin on the lake across from Louie's Landing and we were up there snowmobiling. It was an extremely cold weekend and the shackle mount on my snowmobile trailer broke. I told Jack about it Saturday night and on Sunday morning, in -10 degree weather, Jack got out some tools and a stick welder which allowed me to fix the trailer. Thank you Jack! Your bar is awesome, your food is great and your hospitality is even better!

Went on Friday night and had the fish fry. It was excellent. I also had a bloody mary and it was very good. Its the only place I've been that I could actually taste the tomato juice. Will definitely return.

Phenomenal cheeseburgers. Juicy, tender and the bun is grilled. Probably the best burger I have had in the Hayward area. The bar is circa 1930 and is very nostalgic looking. We will most definitely be back!

Great Fish Fry and great owners!

The service was superb. They were busy with others, but they took the time to make sure we were taken care of. They even gave a cold bowl of water for our dog. We loved our meal so much on Wednesday night, that we came back on Saturday night! We had the special Wed (rack of ribs) and then Prime rib dinner on Saturday. We absolutely 💯 loved our meals here!

Classic Northern Wisconsin bar/restaurant. The broasted chicken was excellent and the homemade cornbread muffin was great. Very clean and tidy place. We enjoyed the history lesson from Jack, the owner. We will be back!

Jack is the best! He goes above and beyond to make sure you have the best "northwoods experience" possible. Food is excellent, pontoon rental is brand new and has a motor that will get up and go while touring Moose lake. The bloody marys are tasty too! We'll be back for sure!
