Great food, good selection of beer, outside vibes are good as long as you get shade with the hot sun of Denver.

Everything was great but the food. Mt.Elbert burger was just gross, which is impressive that a burger could be bad. Either liquid smoke or bad beef, something about the burger just didn't taste right. However beer was great, staff was friendly, and the place was busy!

I do not like that 20% was automatically added to my food charge. I ordered at the counter, had to go up to the counter to pick up my food. What the heck is the 20% for?

Indoor/outdoor, tons of seating, good for groups of all ages, especially earlier in week days for little kids,then later afternoon, dog parents join the mix. I haven't lived home in 6 years, and I have not visited in 3 and this place I do not remember. The food was very, very tasty, and the atmosphere was upbeat and relaxed at the same time. If you're in the area, I would definitely check them out.

Great options for indoor and out door seating. Very fun crowd and staff. Keep an eye on your receipt if your a penny pincher. They do an automatic 20% cause they rock. This is fine in my opinion. However if you aren't careful you might pay for someone else's beer ... Like me... Only down fall to an other wise great experience.

This has become a new favorite place of mine to visit when I am in the area. A brother brought here a few months back and I'm glad he did. The service has been excellent, the food great and the beer even better. There are plenty of seating options both inside and outside. Aside from the staff being great, the seating options and the welcoming of your well behaved dog, this place sits right next door to the incredible Wings over the Rockies museum! If you like food, beer and planes, go check this location out!

Beer, beverages, and food are purchased at the counter, and there are several tables available for dining in. Some tables are covered, and some are in an open air area. We enjoyed beer, the fish fry, cheese curds, and the poke bowl.

Great location and ambiance. Happy hour rocks. But the wings are undercooked. Both our table and the next commented on this. The blue cheese is VERY much like ranch. Lastly, they add an automatic 20% tip... But it is not full service.

Fun place for a meal and cold beer. Located next to the Wings Over the Rockies Museum, you can take in the amazing view of a B-52 right outside here front doors of the museum. The food is delicious, with options for everyone (including my celiac sister and sister-in-law), as well as a top notch beer selection. Fun for the whole family.

Ugh I wish I took pictures, but this place is so cute! We got the Santa Fe burger, Philly cheesesteak, fries, and a couple beers. ($50 total- so not bad at all!) The food was incredible and was ready very quick. Staff were super friendly and awesome.

Go here! Visited on a busy Tuesday evening for dinner, and had a very nice experience. Had the fish and chips, and can recommend them highly. They arrived screaming hot from the fryer and were crispy and moist. The fish (cod) tasted very fresh too. And the portion was generous given the price. It was a beautiful early summer evening, so we could really enjoy the beer garden setting. So very satisfying overall, and we’ll be back.

Me and my wife visited this location last weekend and I was surprised to find out that we had to pay a 20% gratuity/service fee without having the option to opt out, I don’t believe a customer should have to pay 20% if they’re just going for a couple of drinks and have to get up and walk to the counter and order themselves. There should be no service or gratuity fee, added unless customer would like to. I called later that day and spoke with Mark the manager on site and he said he would refund the additional charges and it’s been over a week and I still have not seen a refund come through.

Love this place - loads of outdoor seating, but room inside too if it’s too hot or cold. Food is fast and well made, simple but excellent. Good beer selection.

Me and Husband had 2 drinks each and bill was 50 dollars with mandatory service fee our drinks totaled around thirty but we were billed 50. Not happy with overcharges. We didn’t buy no food or anything else. Is a great place to hang out but expensive.

Fun spot but the MANDATORY 20% service fee on everything will keep me from coming back. Super lame business practice that should be posted throughout. Bought a $17 bbq plate that was $23 with tax and the “service fee”.

Family friendly! Great place, great good, great service! Plenty to choose with beverages (adult and kids) and lots of good food choices. Highly recommend coming! Open seating but plenty of tables. We went at 530pm-830pm and there was plenty seating.

Great way to treat customers with a forced 20% service fee for customers to go up order their food, given a pager, and then go back up to pick it up once the customer is paged. Not really fair to the majority of the food service industry who's likely get around a 20% tip for providing an attentive service. Note the Cubano was good.

Food is average, fries were over cooked and tiny pieces. Chicken nuggets were dry and bland, burger and wings were average, Culver's has better cheese curds. Definitely not worth the price, the food prices are quite high, $11.50 for burger (does not include side), $13.50 for wings. They also charge a 20% service fee even though I have to go place my own order, pick it up, and clean my spot.

6/28/24- The visit started out bad. They have the restaurant access closest to the handicap parking blocked off. Disabled people have to go all the way around. This makes them having handicap parking useless and is a form of discrimination. They as we were placing our order at the counter we also found out that they charge and automatic service fee. They charge a fee for no service. The guest places the order at the counter, then the guest has to pick up their own food, then they have to buss their own tables because they don't have enough bussing staff. There is no table service so they are falsely charging you. The owners will say that it is to pay their staff, but that is not the customer's responsibility. If the owners cannot pay their workers then they should not be in business. I have seen the owners leave that excuse to others that have complained. The owners do not care about the guests and rip you off instead of taking a cut to their profits to pay their employees. I will be reporting this to the city. This should be illegal and they should be forced to post this near the entrance. This place discrimates and falsely charges you. Do not go here. We only stuck around because we were on a time crunch for a doctor appointment across the street. The food was mediocre at best. The hot dogs were over charged $2-3 per dog when compared to other similar places. Just avoid or boycot this place until they change, or I hope the city goes after them and shuts them down for the discrimination and false charges for services you don't get.

Tasty drafts and a delectable sandwich menu. I had the Cuban, it's americanized, but pretty good.

We had sweet potato fries and fried pickles to start. So good! The kids loved their food and really enjoyed the rocky mountain soda company soda they had. (Their first time!) Fun beers and mixed drinks to boot! Self-serve food and beverages, staff picks up tables. It's a garden style place, so more outdoorsy, no ac type of place.

My favorite brewery in the area - don’t forget to try rocket ice cream too!

This is a fun place to go with great burgers and lots of action if you are a people watcher. Unfortunately my sweet potato fries were almost cold and strangely tasteless last night. Also don’t bother going if you are. Gluten intolerant or vegetarian. There’s almost nothing you can eat😩. There is a veggie burger but it has wheat.

Glad they tell you there is automatic gratuity so you don't end up tipping twice.

Auto grat FTW! Support your staff! I fully support all restaurants that do this. Trish the bartender from Florida was very friendly and helpful, she let me try like 4 beers 😀. The spicy plate is HOT, thats your warning. Had a brat, seemed incredibly small for the price. If I'm spending $60 on two people, we should both leave full. Other than that, I would recommend this place to others!

RUDE crabby staff. Was impatient with us sampling beers we wanted to order. And being father's day, we were told afterward about a discount. You think the staff could also mention it? Apparently not. Too bad because atmosphere was nice.

Love the vibe of this place. The food is a little pricey, but it's very delicious. I got an order of medium wings, and they definitely had a spicy kick to them. Fries are a separate charge, so I opted out. As far as beer goes, there are a lot of great options, and they change seasonally. There's something for all palates: IPAs Hefes Stouts Ciders and more. Don't get the cocktails, though. they are not worth the price. The frozés, on the other hand, are really good, according to my friend.

Came here after visiting Arsenal NWR. This place is located next to the air and space museum. Ordered the Thai Noodle Bowl and a pilsner. Very good, would get the dressing on the side next time. My mouth is burning. Nice atmosphere, good beers, friendly staff.

May 31, 2024 Their fish and chips are perfectly done! Not a single doughty spot in the crispy batter. Simply scrumptious! The salads are delicious and generous. Fish, always done to perfection. But the burgers, oh my, irresistible! Whether smothered in goodies, or plain always done to perfection. Service is friendly and skilled. The wide variety of beers is kept interesting and served by very knowledgeable bar keeps. The atmosphere is casual and very family oriented.

Good beers, good food, nice outdoor seating. It's a great place but maybe a little overpriced for what it is, but what isn't in Denver these days!

Delicious food Great service Fun place to go

I used to love coming here. Food and atmosphere is great. But now, there is a MANDATORY 20% service fee. I do not mind tipping or service fees, but here it stings because... I stand in line and order my own food, I stand in line and order my own beer, I pick up my beer and food myself and then have to bus my own table... So I am paying a service fee to wait on myself. I had no problem before tipping appropriately on the previous model, but now it is a bitter pill to swallow for me and others that it's mandatory to tip the employees while you service yourself at this restaurant.

Great open air beer garden with good food

When the food eventually came out it was fine. The 45 minutes it took for the food to come out (and even then they forgot something and got one of the sandwiches wrong) was not worth the $80 paid. Cannot recommend, the service here is not worth the forced 20% gratuity.

This place has such amazing seating with so much room! Great place for kids as well with a lot of space outside. Lots of options for beer and drinks. Food is great as well.

I went to have a few beers with friends. There were children, completely unsupervised by their parents, kicking around a soccer ball. They actually kicked it onto our table and splashed our beer all over us. Their parents, still unaware. If you have kids, get a babysitter. I expect to have a chill, relaxing experience at an establishment with BEER in its name. Lowry Beer Garden, you need to be better about policing these families. Or, put up signs, at least- well behaved kids only.

Lowry Beer Garden is a good, casual place to hang out. Take the kids (no matter how old) for an ice cream, and meet friends or family for some downtime. It is an outdoor, picnic style seating area where most of the tables are covered. The food is bar or carnival type and the beverages are pretty much the same. There weren't any customizations we could make to the food or drinks. The staff were friendly and fast and other than the ordering area, in the background, allowing people to just be. Cool place to be.

I love this place! They have lots of outdoor seating, and the service was fast. They have a surprising amount of cocktails and they are all delicious! Lots of beer options too. The food was fast and the prices for everything were surprisingly reasonable for anywhere in Denver. Would highly suggest trying this place!

20% service fee for over priced food and lake cluster service. Excuse was ever since covid. Do not recomend for a date night. Two thumbs down.

If you want some great bar food and drinks then you need to check this place out. The staff is friendly and attentive. The food is good, we had appetizers mostly but they were all on point (cheese curds, giant pretzel, and boneless wings). Great place to bring the dog along too if you'll be sitting outside.

I used to look forward to come here - Biergarten, ja bitte !! Not sure if we just showed up at the wrong time (Sunday a bit after 11am) , I had an aperol spritz and my kids had some food. Disappointed with the soggy fries, disappointed with the Spritz, and surprised by the 20% service fee for grab and go 🤔 it’s a cool place but not sure what happened with the “service” fee (what service?) and the food quality. Bummer.

You after year, meal after meal, the bison burger just gets worse. It is the only thing I’ve ever ordered here and it’s horrible. If you don’t know how to cook, bison, or purchase from a good bison source, don’t offer it. Just terrible!! By the way, this is the first time I’ve ever critiqued a restaurant, but it’s so bad. I thought people should know.

Best amaretto sour and fried pickles

I can't believe a self-serve adds 20% gratuity onto your bill. My daughter's tells me that's the way of the world well my world will stop by me not going out to places that does this. I really can't imagine anybody being okay with this. Just add $0.5 more to every meal. It's like going to a Mexican restaurant and charging for chips and salsa.

Great drinks, service and setting.

I typically enjoy LBG. Today however was not quite the case. After a round of beers with a friend who I had been cycling with for the last couple hours I went to the bar to get another 2 beers. I was asked if I had a tab open and I said no and that I believe I had closed it out but wasn’t sure. The woman behind the bar asked my last name, looked and then told me I didn’t have a tab going. I said ok, then I’d like 2 Four Noses IPA’s. I went to pay with my phone via tap and she said I couldn’t open a tab with a tap and needed a card. Somewhere in here there must have been confusion because I kept saying I didn’t want to open a tab but rather just buy the 2 beers but she kept saying I could t open a tab with a tap payment. Ok, I get it. I just want 2 beers and I don’t want to run a tab and I just want to pay with my phone. This went round and round and for the life of me I couldn’t figure out what she was talking about because I just wanted to pay for 2 beers just as I had done with my first 2 beers. Upon realizing there was some kind of a misunderstanding she slides me to talk drinks, maybe sours, that I clearly did not order and she says $20 something for the drinks. I said that’s not what I ordered so she pours the two beers I asked for and says she doesn’t think there was much of a price difference. But I can see on the board there is a price difference and I’d like change. She then tells me I’ll have to wait for her to take care of everyone in line before she can do that and the place is packed and it’s clear the beer line is not going to die down. I ask why I can’t just get change or a credit to my card and she says she just can’t do that but would I like a shot of Jameson. No, I don’t want a shot of Jameson for gods sake, I’m riding my bike which is clear from the bike garb I’m wearing. Do I want another beer? No I don’t want another beer. I just want my change from your incorrect entry. She then again says in her snarky bartender way that I can wait until the line dies down. I walked. This place is normally great. This bartender was not. How about some free fries, or a burger, or even a pretzel? I’m the customer. You made the mistake. Own it. Be accommodating. It’s called customer service. And don’t offer Jameson shots to people riding bikes or driving cars.🤯 Next time I’ll hit up Denver Beer Company down the street.

One of my favorite spots in Lowry. Bring your friends, bring your dog, or bring both! The drinks deliver and having a full bar and rotting taps is a huge bonus. Food some of our favorite and we'll priced. Bonus for ice cream during the warm months.

If you ever want to relax under a B-52 bomber wing go here. The beer list is amazing and vast as is the food menu.
