Whoever gives this place poor reviews they don’t know much about fresh seafood, the fish batter was light n perfect cooked n big piecesI had the fish n chips n my husband had the jambalaya n both dishes were great.. first timers n won’t be our last time. Very friendly place n great food for your money.

WAS THERE WEDS HAD FISH AND CHIPS. 4 SMALL FINGER PIECES OF FISH AND PALE NON CRISPY FRENCH FRIES WERE SERVED TO ME. THE FISH WAS TASTY BUT A PALTRY AMOUNT TO JUSTIFY THE TOTAL PRICE OF 20 DOLLARS! NOT A GREAT DEAL AT ALL!

Went there recently with my bestie for the first time and really enjoyed it. The lobster rolls were crazy good and the appetizers, which were a mini langostino type appetizer, I forgot the name, but were amazing and the sauce was to die for. I will definitely be going back!

From the outside it doesn’t look like much… but… the food and service are great! Food was great! Shrimp and conch fritters were delicious—slightly crispy outside, soft (but cooked) inside with a decent amount of seafood and a sweet/sour dipping sauce. Jambalaya was excellent—just a small kick of spice, with shrimp, chicken, sausage, onion, pepper, etc. Fish sandwich had a nice size piece of fish with a taste homemade tartar sauce. For dessert a homemade coconut cheesecake with a berry sauce drizzles over it that was out of this world! The inside is simple — clean and small with little decor— hence why I only gave it 4-stars. Its a casual place so its fine. Service is great! Attentive but not annoying. Very pleasant and personable. We will def be back!

Went there for lunch, the service and food could not have been better. Smelt amazing as soon as we walked in and we were greeted so kindly. Everything was cooked to perfection and came out fast and fresh. Highly recommend and will be returning!

We drove by the area, and we were looking for seafood dinner. So we went to try them out. We will not say disappointed, but we will not go back again. The restaurant was too dark inside. The service was pretty good. However, the food was very average. The raw oyster 🦪 was tiny, and the fry grouper was average. The price was a bit too expensive of what you get. Unfortunately, we will not go back again. We got them 4.8 out of 10

I am very glad to have found this place. A great little restaurant tucked away at the corner of a strip mall. Very casual and unassuming with great service and excellent food. I had the conch chowder, conch fritters, and lobster roll, and tried a bite of the crab cake BLT, and bread pudding. All of the food was so good. I did not take any pictures, but they would not have done the food justice anyway. As good as everything looked, it tasted even better. This restaurant is an asset to the area

Great food! The snapper filet I had was seasoned and cooked perfectly. The sides are well prepared also I had cucumber salad and sauteed french beans.

As you walk up to the restaurant a little chalkboard says “Davie’s Hidden Gem” and it truly is. The food was exceptional! Best restaurant I’ve eaten at in a long time!

The food was amazing. I love the scubby snacks and the clam chowder was the best I've ever tasted. The chief served me my food straight from the kitchen. I like that you are able to sit outside and enjoy your meal.

Truly amazing food. The shrimp ceviche was spot on, and the oysters were amazing! We ordered the daily specials: Shrimp Creole, and Seafood Scampi. Both were outstanding and original, with a depth of flavor that still resonates with us 24 hours later. Finished off lunch with a fantastic key lime pie. I can hardly wait for the next time we go there again.

Had the absolute pleasure of dining at Luc's on a work trip with a couple coworkers. I ordered the Crab Cake entree and didn't leave a bite on the plate, so good! We also had Scoobies and Ceviche for appetizers which also disappeared quickly! Luc's wife was our server and the service was truly attentive and she was so kind to us. Got to meet Luc himself as well and he was also gracious, Thanks to each of them! Highly Recommend this place if you are in town, I'll be back 100%

Stumbled upon this family owned seafood joint. Service and food were fantastic. I had the Jambalaya, and by far it's the best I've ever had. Luc and Roxy took great care of me and my colleagues. If you are looking for a great comfortable spot to enjoy delicious food, look no further. Thanks for the great hospitality Roxy, and Luc your food was amazing.

Stopped in for lunch with my mom and niece on a Saturday afternoon. Nestled in a shopping plaza off of University Drive in Davie (it's in the plaza right behind the carwash). Wasn't busy when we arrived and were immediately seated. The place is clean and cozy. Variety of soft drinks and limited wine/beer options. The menu offers a variety, so you will definitely find something you will like. We had the Conch and Shrimp fritters, which were so delicious and fresh. They come with a delicious dipping sauce that elevates the taste. Everything we chose was seasoned well and so delicious. We had the crab cakes, ribs and fish taco entrees. I cannot wait to return to try the other menu items. Friendly staff and reasonably priced. I cannot recommend this place enough. So whenever you are in Davie, give this place a try.

First time here. In on a Thursday at 4:30 In during Happy Hour. Not busy. Small place but neat and clean. Greeted and seated right away. ORDERED: Conch & Shrimp Fritters From posted pictures you get 6 for $15. For Happy Hour we got 4 for $9. Pretty Small. Jambalaya $24. Good Portion. Snapper (Blackened) Plater with French Fries $28. Fish was good but pricey for the portion. FOOD: 4 stars PRICE: 3 stars SERVICE: 5 stars

We have been on a few occasions. The seafood is fresh and delicious, with a ton of options. The best thing is you can go for a quick lunch and fish sandwich, or have an elegant date night. Service feels personal but not overwhelming. Lots of wine options! Bring your appetite because you will want to have more than one plate!

Excellent! We had the land and sea. The steak was juicy, tender and flavorful and yet the crab cake that comes with this meal stole the show. It was so good I order another additional one. The fries were impressive as well. We also had the shrimp and lobster sofrito pasta, chefs kiss. My only suggestion is that it would be nice to include bread and butter for each table. The food was so delicious but after paying over $100 (2 guests) I was still a little hungry. Ordering the extra crab cake did help. I think the portions would be perfect if complimented with bread and butter. Will definitely visit again and share restaurant with friends.

The conch chowder was 1000/10. It has a little bit of a kick to it. The fish tacos were also very good. The service and atmosphere are fantastic!

Smoked Fish Dip, Jambalaya and Lobster Mac and Cheese amazing!!!

From the moment I walked in I was greeted with open arms. Inside looks like one of those high end restaurants but with a cozy comforting vibe. The bathroom looks like they put a lot of thought in it. They even have a changing table inside for mothers like me. I ordered my family a lobster roll, lobster Mac and cheese,surf and turf tacos and coconut shrimp. All was so delicious and tasted home made! For drinks I had lemonade , Kona beer ,and rum punch all was so delicious as well. They also have a TV inside. You also have the option to dine outside as well. My daughter is a very picky eater and she even demolished her plate so trust me when I tell you that you won't regret dining here. Very family friendly.

Friendly service and excellent seafood at Luc's. Our group was looking for a non- chain seafood restaurant and were very happy with the food and service. I had the lobster Mac n cheese which was loaded with a generous amount of lobster meat, and had a nice delicate sauce (not too thick). Oysters and coconut shrimp were great too.

Luc and Roxie went above and beyond. The service was personable and friendly. The atmosphere is quaint and peaceful. The food, yummy yummy yummy. Everything was delicious! I will surely be a repeat customer. "Curry boy," enjoyed his birthday, and I definitely want to try his favorite meal. Thank you for your great service and delightful food.

First time here and highly recommend. We were looking for seafood but didn't want to go too far east. This is off of University Dr. We ordered the lobster rolls, surf and turf burger and they came with a side, cucumber salad, and tomato basil. Everything was so good and fresh. A hidden gem for seafood and very friendly. Roxy who served us was very friendly and recommended the homemade blueberry bread pudding for dessert. Make sure to make room for it. We met Luc the owner who brought our food. I love going to local places. We will be back!

A true gem! Fresh seafood, a great selection of beers and wine & excellent service makes this place a new favorite for our family. Under new ownership that promises to deliver the same quality with a bit more spice. I had the lobster roll which was piled high with huge chunks of Maine lobster and perfectly seasoned. My husband had the fish tacos; they were filled with a blackened grouper salad and spicy remoulade We shared the coconut shrimp appetizer, a true winner! We closed with a taste of their oysters and oh my! They were fantastic. They serve only cold water oysters; I believe tonight’s were from Boston. So happy to have found this delicious spot so close to home. Wishing them the best!

When I say everything here is amazing even the service. Stacy was an amazing waitress. The food was so delicious and amazing as well. I would highly recommend Luc’s to anyone who is looking for a seafood restaurant!

Best crab cakes and a real salad with green leaves. The chef is a very nice person and pays attention to details, which makes the food delicious. I will definitely go back. I'm very glad I discovered this place.

Great food, great service! The owners are awesome and friendly! Lobster Mac n cheese is a must have! The lobster roll is delicious! The crab cakes are all meat and great flavor. The ceviche is different than I have ever had but delicious as well:) We will come to Luc’s every time I am in the Ft Lauderdale area. Also the happy hour is a great deal with $9 appetizers, coconut shrimp & shrimp and conch fritters are yummy.

We have been several times, and each and every time, the service, food and ambiance has been excellent. What a great restaurant!!!

Don’t usually review, but this place is really good

Cute little local seafood place. We had conch & shrimp fritters, a Mahi sandwich, and fish & chips. Everything was fresh and tasty. We took advantage of the happy hour menu. Our server was very attentive and friendly, making sure we had everything we needed.

Food is beyond phenomenal!! Make sure to try the skoobies and the chocolate mousse cake!

Luc's Seafood & Grill truly is a hidden gem!! We ate a late lunch/early dinner outside and enjoyed every bite! We ordered several items to share- the lobster roll was the best we've ever had, and the skoobies were something we'd never heard of but had to try bc a local favorite- now we look forward to having again. We also had seafood dip w/ jalapeno jelly and crackers (ate it all before I got a photo!). Dessert was delicious too! The personal, friendly service made the experience that much better = 100% recommend!!

This restaurant is super quaint with excellent food and service. My husband and I went there today and I just had to write this review. He had the Jambalaya and I had the Lobster Roll with cole slaw. Both were delicious! There are so many wonderful choices on the menu that it was hard to choose. Our service was perfect. Amazing cooks in the kitchen to include the owner, Luc! We highly recommend this restaurant. We will be back!

I’m not going to bore you with the details, but Luc is the real deal. Pick a nice night, sit outside, order a bottle of wine and an order of skoobies, and then LITERALLY ANYTHING ELSE ON THE MENU. You will not be disappointed.

Luc is a small business/restaurant owner, so he has this location and another one by the beach. I ordered jambalaya that has chicken, shrimp and beef for $24 or so. Spicy, tasty and delicious. Luc did a great job with all of our orders, and our server was personable and sharp. The restaurant has chilled ice, which our party loved chewing on. Recommend this local restaurant to anyone.

Today was my second time at Luc's. Like the first, I was very happy with my food. We shared the Scoobies. They were garlicky with touch of spice. We ordered the special fish with crabmeat. The fish was moist, well seasoned and the crabmeat was fresh and delicious. I am looking forward to the next time.

The former chef from Coconuts in Fort Lauderdale opened his own little store front. Food is five stars or better. Seriously the best. For like 1/3 the price of the fancy down town Fort Lauderdale location. Please come and patronize this amazing small business.

Came to dinner for the first time based on a recommendation from Let’s Eat Florida. Had Skoobies and lobster roll, New England clam chowder. The food is beyond delicious! The Staff, Roxie and Luc are great! My new place , love it here, will definitely be back!

Jumblaya was the best I've had outside of the French Quarter in New Orleans. Will be back again.

We had the gumbo and jambalaya along with the bread pudding for dessert. Everything was fresh and tasted amazing! It’s so nice to have a nice meal without any disappointments.

Do not pass on the scoobies as Luc is definitely an OG on making them. Crab cake BLT and lobster Mac and cheese was out of bounds as well. Only negative review would be the lobster bisque as the taste was so-so at best, but the bar was set by the whales rib in Deerfield beach as a 10/10.

Excellent food, good vibes and nice people. I heard about this place as I used to visit Coconuts on the east side so i thought I had to try them out. Stared with the PEI oysters, then the large stone crabs and also the conch appetizers. All delicious and tatsy. The oysters were so fresh, salty and delicious. Stone crabs were very tasty as well. For my entree, i had the crab BLT. Excellent. Definitely will try them again. I went during happy hour so there were some discounts on some apps and drinks.

I’ve been to Luc’s several times now. Lobster roll: Amazing. Crab cake BLT: Amazing. But today I was inspired to leave this review because I finally tried the Jambalaya. It was the bomb!!! What a meal! Love the food, and the service and hospitality are excellent.

A tiny restaurant with a good selection of seafoods. The foods were made very well and in good portions. The waitresses were all super nice but not overly chatty, so the atmosphere was very welcoming and comfortable.

I Stopped in this plaza to get my car detailed and looked up to see this cute little restaurant across the way. I am so glad my car needed a detail because this place is amazing! The menus (yes, plural… a weekend brunch… happy hour and main menu, along with a lovely drink selection) are simple but the offerings impressive. The price point is very good for what they are serving which is fresh delicious food. After enjoying a crab cake salad as a late afternoon snack I’m looking forward to coming at different times of day with family and friends.

Stopped by to have some stone crabs, fritters and a beer. My wife had a cheeseburger and fries. Food was excellent as was the beer selection. Recommended!

We came in this Saturday with our kids and had a great experience. Not only are the owners kind and hospitable, the food is fresh and delicious. We tried the crab cake sandwich, jambalaya, crabs legs - all delicious. Definitely give this place a try!

I don’t typically leave reviews, but I had to for Luc’s. Place is the real deal. Ceviche was simple, fresh, and flavorful. Lobster roll was best I’ve ever had. Vibe is also ideal, clean and low key. Luc and his wife are doing it right. Place is going to be a south Florida establishment for years to come.

From the time we walked in the door, the staff was nothing but attentive to us and the other customers around us. The lobster Roll was fantastic with a ton of lobster and not other stuff to make it look big. The buttered roll was perfect…..not too large. The coconut shrimp was delicious and huge!! I had the Happy Hour appetizer size and it was just enough for me after splitting the Lobster roll with my husband. The jambalaya was so good. The perfect amount of spice that wasn’t too hot, just loaded with flavor! We will DEFINITELY be coming back to this little gem!!

We saw a close friend post on Facebook that she tried it a few months ago. We wanted something different and I was set on a lobster roll for lunch so decided to make the trip. We had the Shrimp conch Fritters, the crab cake BLT and the lobster roll which they served hot for me. I loved that it was on the Texas toast instead of a roll and the portion was good. It's a cozy place and we got to check out some of the football game while there. They have lots of extra tables outside as they are on the end of the plaza. Check them out and support a local who opened his own business!

Absolutely, positively spectacular! The Maine lobster roll is better than the one I had … IN MAINE!!! And - no doubt the best jambalaya I’ve ever had - and that includes NOLA! I will definitely be back. Well worth the 30 minute drive from my home. This place is not to be missed! Oh - and by the way - if at the end of your meal you don’t have room for dessert … make some! And get the key lime pie!! You will NOT be sorry!!!

BE AWARE. NO LONGER VINNY'S. Very poor business sense. When I told them I had an expiring Local Flavor certificate, they refused to allow us to order from the daily? specials menu.... main menu has very few choices. 3 of which are MP!!... Only 6 tables inside, we had to sit outside. Food was good. But service was only okay. When it was time to pay....refused to accept Vinny's seafood Local flavor certificate. So why didn't I get shown the specials menu? Too bad you burned this foodie family.

Best oysters in the city without a doubt. The staff is extremely accommodating. They order in limited quantities to ensure freshness. Unfortunately, that means they sometimes don’t have exactly what you want, but you never need to worry about being served anything remotely old. Can’t wait to go back.

This is not the Vinnies I knew and loved. Used to come atleast once a week, now I don't think id go back again sadly. New owners and id assume new chef, while the lobster roll was packed with a good amount of meat, it had little flavor apart from a ton of mayo. Very disappointed and don't think Id try it again.

This place is amazing! From the food to the service, we enjoyed every bit of it. We travelled in from Denver, found this spot on Google, and they did not disappoint. We had the lobster roll sandwich, lobster mac n cheese, and the crab cake salad (our FAVORITE)! We look forward to visiting again sometime soon and would highly highly recommend this spot!

Luc’s Seafood & Grill I have had just about every chili made by restaurants east of the Mississippi. I’m telling you folks, the True Chili Guru lives!! And he lives at Luc’s Seafood Grill!! I consider myself someone well versed in Chili, and I can tell you Luc’s Seafood Grill Chili is the best I’ve ever had in my life, Bar none!!

I purchase a lobster roll on Groupon the catch is you have to dine in you can’t take it out to go the reason for that is to get you in to spend more money $4.75 for a glass of ice and a little tea I wanted to leave with my sandwich And was told I couldn’t my sandwich didn’t look anything like the picture they put the lobster on sliced bread. This was my first and last time I would ever eat in this place.

What a wonderful meal we had here. It's a proper Florida seafood menu. We had that shrimp/conch fritters which were delicious. Then I had the fried lobster tails and my wife had the Yellowtail with lump crab meat. The lobster had a remoulade sauce and also warm butter. I found myself going back and forth between the two. The remoulade was delicious in its own right, but the butter brought out the hoppy IPA flavor of the batter. Desert was Key Lime Pie and it was perfectly tart. All of these dishes were wonderful but I HAVE to mention the sides. One was a wonderful cucumber salad and the other were green beans. Both of them tasted like passed down recipes. Luc and Roxy took great personal care of us and seemed like really lovely people. I hope we all embrace and support Luc's Seafood & Grill because I look forward to many more happy meals here.
