What a great place with not only amazing pizza and staff, but the locals who frequent the establishment were so friendly! I’m looking forward to coming back again! FYI, their Pig & Fig pizza is hands down one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had. You should try it. Really, you should.

This is one of the best places we visit each year for spending time outdoors and with family for a casual meal. The pizza is good. The view of the valley is wonderful. I highly recommend.

The only down side of Luna Valley Farm is that it is not open every day. Great food, great atmosphere, and great people. The operation is so well-organized.

So I can't say that I really did anything but go there (I didn't do any reservations etc. if that's necessary), but it's a super cozy and awesome place with amazing pizzas with super cool toppings. Some will surprise you big time and in the best way possible!

Okay, you really need to check this gorgeous place out! The pizza, drinks, and service were wonderful!! I'm hoping to make it back out one last time before they close for the season!

Very tasty! Got both a kids friendly and a more adult pizza and ate it all. Had a nice covered eating area so we were fine even though there was a light drizzle. And loved watching the sheep afterwards.

Make reservations to enjoy the pizza! Luna Valley Farms presents a fun, community experience. The covered seating area was a blessing in the rain. Be prepared to squeeze in if you want a seat at the community tables! The Pork and Fig wood-fired pizza was rustic and delicious! It's easy to order online for a designated pick up time.

OMG, so good! We got a couple pizzas -- some super famous one and another that was more of a supreme kind of thing; you know, like a staple go-to, you're going to like it no matter what -- and they were both spectacular! We met some cool people, had a great conversation and watched the sunset 🌄 I might have even lost my hat there. It's always a good time when you lose clothing! 👍

If you are into to the great l outdoors farm living and a great pizza this place is a must. My son is coach of the university at decorah so we went up to see him and the family and he took us to Luna farm. It is a full operational farm and the make pizzas with fresh ingredients. Order up front You Can't order on site!!!! No deposited re-q hired. They have beers and as oft drinks plus a select I'll n of ice creams for dessert. On cookie icream sandwich is enough of or a family of five to six they are about five inches wide circular. You can see the animals ates forks knivesand have a picnic. Bring plates and utensils oh and you take your garbage with you. We had two pizzas about 14" three beers and soft drink with tip we paid 86.00. the day was gorgeous and we met a lot of folks so it's a gathering hole and great pizza.

We made an impromptu trip to Decorah and my husband happened across Luna Valley while looking online. So glad he did! Great peaceful atmosphere with tasty pizza. Obvious that there is great pride in the operation. Bought some lamb to cook once we got back and it was fantastic too!

Great atmosphere, food, and nature

Really beautiful rural location outside Decorah. Ate here with a party of 10 ranging in age from 7 to 87. Pizza was quite good. Tap list had some great pizza-appropriate brews from PIVO, TG, and Pulpit Rock. Root beer for the kids. Fantastic spot to spend a couple hours on a summer evening.

Luna Valley Farm is both a great experience and a great place to eat some of the best wood fired pizza you can get. Look them up on social media, and if you are in the Decorah area on the weekend, stop in for a pizza or two amd enjoy eating it outside. Due to the current environment, the only way you can get a pizza is to order it a week in advance to pick up. Again, check out their social media and their website for details...how to order, what pizzas are being offered (menu changes based on what ingredients are in season), etc.. Tonight, we had the Pig and Fig pizza and the Luscious pizza (pics have the description of each). The pizzas themselves are amazing...locally sourced (from Luna Valley itself and other local farms/producers) ingredients on a perfectly cooked crust that is just the right consistency make for an amazing dinner. The scenery is great and eating one of these freshly baked pizzas outside on this working farm is relaxing and makes the experience that much more enjoyable. We have come here several times and each time has been a wonderful experience. Cannot recommend it enough.

Luna Valley Farm was an unbelievable good experience. The farm was gorgeous and the pizza was beyond delicious. The owners/staff were so friendly and welcoming. An absolute must if you’re in the area.

Worth a 4 hour drive! Fantastic place to eat and glamp, if you get lucky enough to secure a glamp site.

Absolutely loved this place. The pizza was good, the beer was great, and the people were very friendly. The farm is just amazing with a beautiful garden where they get all the veggies for the pizza, tiny pigs and sheep. It is perfectly decoarated to give a quaint authentic farm experience and beautiful scenery. A very nice Creek runs through the bottom and everything is organic. Everything at Luna Valley Farm was absolute perfection.

Glampers Review Luna Valley is absolutely amazing!!!! July 10-12. 2020 Everything was absolutely amazing!!! The bed and linens were so comfortable I stripped them off to see what they were so I could get them both for our home. There is a lantern, night stand lights and fans that run on batteries. So helpful to see in the dark and keep the flies away. As for bugs, we were not annoyed with bugs at all. We didn’t see any mosquitoes, but did have a few flies. There was a very nice breeze up in the tents, our entire stay. It stormed twice, nothing in the tent gets wet and the smells and sounds are peaceful. We enjoyed pizza one night, it was delicious!!! The bathrooms, let’s talk about the bathrooms…..BEAUTIFUL! The shower, as many other’s reviewed, is amazing!!! It’s huge and designed for two to shower at once without even coming close to touching (unless you want). Nothing left undone in the bathroom. Everything is so thought out, from: the separation of shelves in the bathroom for towels to tent 1 and towels for tent 2, to the fresh picked flowers greeting your arrival, to extra blankets, rugs, batteries and bug spray. Maren has thought everything through to make the stay comfortable. She went above and beyond to help assist both glampers in a shower schedule during this COVID season. A few observations we had: 1. The tents were closer together than we anticipated, however, it didn’t cause an issue with any privacy both verbal or visual. In fact, we didn’t even meet our fellow glampers until check out Sunday. What we did think is, how nice it would be for two couples to enjoy together. Tents close enough to hang out and enjoy company, but far enough apart to have privacy. 2. The climb to the tents, Maren mentioned this in her very helpful description. In hindsight, we would have brought a wagon to just pull up all of our stuff. We brought a tote with a comforter for sitting in the grass or laying on the deck, a battery operated fan, some snacks, two backpacks and a cooler. The climb up was fine, it just may have been easier if we had a wagon. If you don’t have one, no worries, you will be perfectly fine. 3. There is a river/creek that runs through the property. We went down and walked it and fished it. Knowing what I know now, I would have brought a tube and rope and tied off to enjoy a float while my husband fished. This was a bit more adventurous as its not super easy to get down there or back up, but definitely doable for a nice cool off. 4. Also as Maren described, that bathroom is a little walk away from the tents, if you have a small bladder, that could be something to think of. Personally, neither of us found it to be an issue. Only suggestion we have is, a hammock in each tent that could be tied up over the deck or set aside for the chairs would be awesome!!! The breeze is so peaceful, we thought many times, if we had a hammock we could totally sleep out here too. Everything was so amazing!!! We have told all our friends and family about it already. Luna Valley is an incredible experience. Bring a blanket or chairs to sit on and prepare for a lovely evening on the farm. Wait times for pizza can get a little longer at peak hours so just know that going in (totally worth it). Local ingredients, fantastic pizzas, beautiful location.

We lucked out and had absolutely perfect weather for a Friday night at Luna Valley Farm. We got there around 6 pm and had to wait about 15 minutes to order, which wasn't bad and the pizza itself was well worth any wait. I've been to a few other pizza farms and Luna Valley was probably the best in terms of pizza (we had one vegetarian and one with sausage), and toward the top of the list on the dreamy-ness scale. It was nice being able to order alcohol on-site, and they had a really great selection of local beers, ciders, and wines. Bugs weren't an issue at all and everyone was really friendly. Our only regret: not signing up months in advance to book a glamping tent - next time!

Excellent tasting and large pizzas. There is plenty to places to sit indoors and outdoors but still bring chairs/blankets for busy days. Wish they had more hours beyond Friday.

Beautiful farm! If you're in the area check out pizza night (usually Friday I believe). They also have stunning tents available for reservation on air bnb. Had a great time here and highly recommend Luna Valley!

Pricey, high quality ingredients, quick service. Exciting menu of pizza and beer in a fantastic location. Owners both work with staff to make fantastic food and provide outstanding service. As a chef, id highly reccomend Luns Valley Farm to any pizza farm fan, foodie or anyone looking for something awesome to eat.

Lovely atmosphere, surrounded by great people and good food. The ordering process is quick but can be a long wait if busy. Limited seating during peak hours, but that does not affect service quality.

This farm is amazing! The pizza on Friday nights is so good. They use a wood fired pizza oven and organic ingredients to make it. We didn't stay at the 'glamping' sites, but we peeked in on them and they looked so cute and cozy. I would highly recommend a visit to this farm if you are in the area.
