Hostess was adamant about not seating us until our entire party of 8 was there even though we said the remaining few were parking and almost here and thus we lost our table. Another party of the same size at the same time was seated and took our table even though half of their party wasn’t even there. Hostess was so rude. Never coming back.

Great food and recommend the pasta

A friend and I are in town for a girls trip and someone suggested Lupo’s. I’ve been coming to Rehoboth for years and never been here. The service was outstanding! Our waitress, Riley, was super sweet and gave us great recommendations. Everything we ordered was DELICIOUS!! The meatballs and the octopus salad were delicious! I got the lobster bucatini and my friend got the grilled scallop. OMG! They were both AMAZING! I cannot wait to come back the next time I’m in town!

I recently visited Lupo Italian Kitchen on a Sunday evening. Unfortunately, reserving online wasn’t possible due to full availability, so we had to walk in and wait for about 30 minutes, which wasn’t bad for 7 PM. Despite having plenty of staff, the service was lacking. The check-in process was slow, and our waitress forgot to bring us a glass when we asked for a replacement. Drinks took a long time to arrive, though the Moscow mule tasted great. The staff did inform us that it was the bartender’s first night alone, which explained the delay. Attention to detail was missing in some aspects. While the house-made ricotta tasted amazing, the portion was extremely small and not worth ordering. On the other hand, the cacio e Pepe was fantastic with a very generous portion, almost enough to split. The Shrimp Ala Pesto also tasted great with no complaints. Overall, while the food was mostly delicious, the service needs improvement. Attention to detail and better management of staff could significantly enhance the dining experience.

We had an amazing dinner at Lupo’s Italian Kitchen! Our waiter, Carson was extremely pleasant and gave us exceptional sevice. The swordfish and chicken parm were out of this world! Our expectations were exceeded and it was the best experience we could’ve asked for. Easy 5 stars.

The lobster buccatini was delicious, but other dishes were disappointing. The kitchen seemed overwhelmed and they didn't bring one of the things we ordered. Maybe it would be better on a less busy evening.

Chicken parm lacked flavor. Pasta was not Al dented! Need to add salad with this entree. Bread was delicious. Great happy hr. Beer prices.

Nice upscale Italian restaurant on the main street of Rehoboth. Parking can be hard to find during the summer, so be prepared to walk a distance from your car, if you are not staying nearby. Service was ok, but we had a large party for a family celebration. The food was good. The calamari appetizer was delicious and tender as was the mussels appetizer. A nice bread with olive oil was also brought with the appetizers. I enjoyed the spaghetti with meatballs, but it could have used a bit more seasoning.

Ordered Burrata as the app. Way out of our comfort zone, tried it and we enjoyed it very much! The special of the day was baked half chicken with brussel sprouts and potatoes. The chicken was so incredibly flavorful, tender and juicy. Brussel sprouts and potato’s cooked to perfection. Also ordered chicken parm. If I was rating on the chicken parm alone I’d give it a 3, noodles stuck together and hard, chicken was ok, sauce was more tomato paste flavor than anything else, do not recommend that dish. However, I give it 5 stars because I’ve never tasted baked chicken so good. We would definitely go back.

Great Italian food in Rehoboth! We had a few great pasta dishes and the arancini was amazing! Definitely the best appetizer- don’t miss it! Very friendly staff - highly recommend this restaurant!

We loved our dinner and we absolutely love this place! All dishes looked and tasted amazing! Our server recommended a red wine to pair up with our dishes and it was perfect addition to the meal. I have dairy allergies and they had no problem making me a delicious salad and grilled fish removing all possible dairy ingredients but keeping both dishes scrumptious!

Deplorable! Do not go there if you are single person! I am a guest at the hotel and decided to go down and order dinner after a long day. Originally, I decided that I would just order and take it back up upstairs. I sat down next to the hostess desk, which was my biggest mistake. When I told the hostess tonight that I decided to stay, she said, I thought you were gonna go. She then continued to tell me. That there was a waitlist. There were many tables open. She told me to go to the bar and again there was no seats at the bars. I took the tiny little top right next to her desk. She told the waiter after he brought me water to take it back. She then after asking for water and bread, she gave me somebody else’s bread. It was already soaked in oil. I asked her on numerous occasions for full size piece of bread. She kept humiliating me and making me feel small and that I was not drinking either , so I didn’t deserve waiter service. Not one person on that staff after my food was delivered, came to the table and asked me how was my food this evening. Nobody came to top off my water. Nobody cared after I finished and walked out, because the Hostess was so rude, think she is top-tier, humiliated me for sitting at a table by myself and not drinking, I already paid for my dinner and if I was given proper service, I would’ve left a tip. I have never been treated like this before and I would not recommend this restaurant for this reason. I sat next to two women, and I watched how they were taking care of, I watched the big bread that they got and I didn’t, I watched how the waiter came and went and never spoke to me and nobody spoke to me and nobody made me feel welcomed in the restaurant. The owner of this restaurant, your hostess. I am staying in the hotel , I did not deserve to be treated that rudely, unkind, treated like trash, and had no value to your restaurant. I couldn’t even order dessert. Here’s a note to her, your behavior was unacceptable, your treatment towards me was undeniable, the women noticed , you are harsh and you are excessively rude. You do not have the right to treat anybody in that manner. This happened on a Wednesday night and it happened today. Fire that waitress and I deserve a full written letter and an apology. Ever be treated that way, just because I don’t drink, doesn’t mean I should not get perfect service. Please share with her I always tip 25%…..

Casual dining, great service, however the chicken parmi filet was way too thick and the vegetable side blah. The lobster dish was tasty, but not much lobster. Appetizers were good.

This is my first time at this restaurant and I am hooked. Everything from the moment walking in was excellent. The staff the cocktails and the food. Rating this place at 10 it blows it off the chart if you’re in the area for a vacation or your local stop in, you will not be disappointed

This was our second time at Lupo. The first was in July 2022 and it was excellent. I had pasta bolognese. We ordered a Caesar salad to share first. Dressing was good but lettuce wasn’t fresh, photos. Lousy quality included mostly brown ended lettuce. I ordered the pasta Bolognese again. Immediately I smelled CUMIN in it! I tried a bite and called over the waiter as I’m allergic to cumin. He checked w management and confirmed cumin is in the sauce. One of the managers came over and said they use a premade mix with many spices to make that sauce. She suggested I should’ve told the waiter I was allergic to cumin. I told her that cumin shouldn’t be used in an Italian restaurant and if it is it should be noted on the menu. They brought me another dish (veal meatballs) but I thought they tasted awful. After that they clearly had had enough and brought the bill My husband ordered chicken Parmesan and the homemade spaghetti was MUSHY. Our server, Finnbar was EXCELLENT. Wanted to make sure to mention how much we enjoyed him. it’s a shame that the food and management’s attitude turned the experience so sour.

This restaurant had it all, great service, amazing atmosphere right in downtown Rehoboth attached to a lovely hotel. The dishes that we had were both amazing. The pasta is made fresh at the restaurant, the veggies were fresh as is they picked and cleaned them that day. Our waiter, Fionnbharr was solid and we shared amazing conversations with the couple that dine next to us.. let me know how your experience goes but you must eat there too tell me‼️

Food was a little pricey for what you although they have some good specials like half price chicken Parm. Todd the bartender is very friendly and entertaining. Very popular place, people lined up to get in at 5.

My wife and I are frequent Lupo Kitchen diners as well as other SoDel restaurants. Lupo’s is excellent - food , service, staff, We enjoy sitting at bar when we do not go with other couples. The bar tender, Todd, is amazing. He remembers everyone’s name as well as drinks and food that we eat. He handles all the bar people as well as drinks for the entire restaurant. He is very polite and efficient. Hopefully the management of SoDel realizes what a great person they have working for them.

The reason you want to go to Lupo is Todd. He was our bartender and he defined a new level of services and experience when he comes to dining out. He was attentive, proactive and full of recommendations (food, drink and what else to do). If I could give 7 stars just to Todd, I would! Our was both good and ok! I got the caco e pepe and was little underwhelmed. My wife got the bolognese and it was very good! Whatever you like to drink, order it. I lost count of how many times customers were walking out of the restaurant, exclaiming over my shoulder, "Fantastic drink!"

We had a good time with our friends, for sure, but we found the food rather mediocre. Our server was nice and friendly, however.

Overall the experience was good, but not great. The grilled octopus was bland and the lobster Bugatini was very salty and the pasta was undercooked. The fried calamari was delicious. The mushroom pasta was delicious. The eggplant parm was delicious. Butrata was delicious. Loved the service. Only have the one photo of the lobster Bugatini. Looks great doesn't it.

This is a very good restaurant in a town with lots of good eats. The service is very good, the food is excellent. It lost a star because of the prices. It is VERY pricey. Half price wine night? Half price pasta night? ABSOLUTELY! A special night? GO! A regular return trip? Maybe better to save up for awhile

We reserved for a party of 12 but needed to add 1 more person. The hostess quickly added another seat with no fuss. Our server was great, and our food was delicious. All of our meals arrived at about the same time. We will definitely go again.

Went for half priced Chicken Parm which did not disappoint. Had sausage n white bean soup which was tasty n satisfying. Hubby had Caesar salad which although very lightly dressed was sufficiently garlicky with hints of lemon. Of course I wanted the “pick me up” martini which our sweet waiter supplemented with a healthy helping of whipped cream. Hubby ordered the tiramisu which was huge and rich and creamy and of course delicious. Overall beginning to end, a perfect meal. We will be coming back for sure

Never had a bad experience. Everything is first rate. Tuesday nights in winter are the best with half price parm dishes. You need to taste the eggplant Parm to believe it. Nobody has ever done it better. Todd is also an amazing bartender!

Loved the Tuesday special of 1/2 price parmigiana recommended by the concierge at our Ballmoor Inn. After a long day of discovering the DE coast, we walked over w/o a reservation and the outdoor dining area was our only option. The server (can‘t remember his name but hardworking young man with a day job at Lewes 🎣 bait shop) cordial and pleasant, hustled between indoors and outdoors, all with a smile. The chicken with pasta and eggplant parmigiana with broccoli rabe served substantial and delicious, hot and timely even though the interior dining room was quite full and bustling. 🔥 Special shout out to the kitchen staff who prepared and presented the tasty entrees, nice specials. 😋 Highly recommend. Every person was raised with a specific rendition of their Italian meal and this restaurant suited me fine! 🍝 No photo. Impromptu decision w/o devices. 😂

We dined last night for the first time at Lupo and had an excellent experience. We made reservations since we knew it was half-price pasta night and we were seated immediately. Our server, Tina, was the best. Very personable, knowledgable about the different selections and took care of our every need. We ordered the chopped salad and spaghetti and meatballs. The salad was such a large portion neither of us could finish it although it was delicious. The spaghetti and veal meatballs were very tasty. The sauce was light and not overpowered by tomato taste or spices. The meatballs were very large and tasty. I gave the atmosphere 4 stars instead of 5 because we both felt the design of the restaurant made it very loud and we could barely hear each other talk while eating. I hate to be picky but, wanted to give an honest review. I have no doubt we will be back to Lupo to try some more of their dishes. Great place!

We have been there three times. Every time the food and service were excellent! Definitely recommend reservations. Seating outside is also enjoyable during the warmer months!

$$. RESERVATIONS RECOMMENDED. Would recommend for a date night or casual night out. A modern Italian style kitchen and bar with extensive wine menu. While their meatballs and sweet red sauce were my favorite aspects of Lupo's, I found the table bread and side vegetables to be extremely salty which left a sour taste in my mouth as it did my party. Due to the saltiness overpowering the flavor I provided a lower rating. I provided this feedback to the waitress. Hoping this was a one time thing to return with an update for you all in the future.

We had dinner here because it was conveniently located in the hotel where we were staying. We did not order the half price dinner special, but probably should have, as most of the patrons were enjoying very inexpensive Parmesan specials that night. We ordered a chopped salad to share off the regular daily dinner specials menu and bolognese and the Old School lasagna. Unfortunately, the lasagna was cold in spots, so apparently it was not microwaved evenly or sat under the warming lamp too long. The bolognese was just so-so. What was surprising was the high wine prices. They offer only one Chardonnay at 18.00 a glass. My husband had the special Sangria offered that evening. It was acceptable. Service was attentive. It’s a young friendly staff, all in black Lupo shirts. We had hoped to be wowed by this place. But sadly, we will probably eat at the many other restaurants in the area when we return to Rehoboth Beach.

This was the second time me and a friend visited Lupo and our most recent experience was not pleasant. Our reservation was at 8:30 pm and when we arrived there was a decent crowd. However, as our dinner progressed we felt rushed by the waiter as we were the last table. Although we can appreciate an attentive waitstaff, to come over what seemed every 5 minutes to ask to take dishes away, or if we needed a to go box made us feel like we were being pushed to move faster. I understand closing is at 10 pm, but if you will rush an 8:30 pm reservation, then do not accept them at that time. We will most likely not return.

Delightful evening! Server, Zach, timed appetizers and main courses well. Attentive but did not push evening. Menu items selected were all very good! Sorry we have not been back sooner. Expect your clothes to smell after leaving; perhaps due to open kitchen.

This place is truly one of a kind. The wine selection is diversified and truly good for anyone who has different preferences of wine. The food from the appetizers to the entrees were amazing. Definitely a place to go to when you are downtown.

We were greeted and seated as soon as we walked in. The waiter was so helpful and pleasant, the staff all moved as a team keeping everything comfortable and clean. The food is AUTHENTIC! Words can't express how fresh and authentic the food is. Fresh made pasta, warm & soft bread, etc. We were so pleased, we are going back today before heading home tomorrow. I recommend this place to everyone who visits Rehoboth.

First time here and everything was exceptional, seated right away, we had a reservation- recommend because it filled up quick, water and warm bread and oil brought right away, drink order taken and delivered, we ordered apps and when delivered ordered our dinner and all brought quickly - for apos: arancini, meatballs and the barata special, for dinner: cacio e pepe, chicken special, linguini & clams and the lobster bucatini - all simply amazing - the lobster was the winner by far - I could have eaten 3 more helpings, but all were amazing we will be back

I've eaten here several times and I've always had a great experience. This time, I got lobster buccatini and it was excellent. Our server, Hannah, was very friendly, informative and patient. I highly recommend.

I took my family to Delaware for vacation from September 1 to September 6 from New York this year, we went to Rehoboth Beach for sightseeing on September 4, and we were lucky to get the seats for dinner to celebrating my son's birthday in Lupo Italian Kitchen. The restaurant environment is very friendly, and the food and service were excellent too. My son is an totally disabled person, the restaurant front desk receptionist gave us a suitable table to fit my son's wheelchair and 4 people of adults. When I told the waiter about my son's special diet, he brought Mr. Andrew Ritter, the SOUS Chef to me, and Andrew made what we need for my son. Andrew also brought the cake and ice cream with candle for us to celebrating my son's birthday without charging the cost to me. My family feel so warm here. It is really a great restaurant and great people here besides the great food. I will recommend my friends to this restaurant if they travel to Delaware.

Decided to give Lupo Italian Kitchen on a recent trip to the beach. We made reservations and were seated outside immediately. Inside decor was beautiful and the outdoor dining area was very private, clean and quiet. We ordered the cosmo and the limoncello lemon drop for cocktails. Both were delicious and strong enough. For the entrees we had the spaghetti and meatballs and chicken parm. Definitely one of the best meatballs I have ever eaten and the spaghetti was so light and fresh. Chicken parm was crispy (love when it’s extra crispy) with every bite and pasta was great as well. Sauce was perfectly spiced, not too sweet or acidic. Dessert we had the special vanilla bean cheesecake. Easily can share with two or three people. Plenty to share! Overall excellent experience. Server was great and very knowledgeable about the menu/specials etc(I feel bad I don’t remember his name). This will be our new favorite Italian restaurant on vacation. 10/10!! Keep up the great work!

Lupo Italian Kitchen is located in the Rehoboth Hotel. We did not have reservations so we sat at a small bar close to the entrance. Normally we like our privacy when we are eating, but it was quiet for a bar and we still felt like we had our privacy. The bartender, Zach, was very helpful, He recommended the ricotta cheese app.It was very light and buttery with a sweet topping. It was delicious. My wife had the bolognese over rigatoni noodles. The sauce was excellent. I had the shrimp alla pesto.It included peas, asparagus, leeks and mint, with a pesto sauce. Our dinners were delicious and the atmosphere was nice. We highly recommend Lupo Italian Kitchen for dinner.

The restaurant week deal was a disappointment. The chicken parm portion was ridiculously small for the $35 meal, which included salad and dessert. Everyday price of $28 for huge portion of chicken parm at Touch of Italy much better value.

Best dinner in Rehoboth. Hands down.I had the shaved Brussels sprouts salad. The lobster bucatini. And a glass of the verdicchio. AMAZING. My server was knowledgeable and attentive. I’m extremely impressed. Thank you for an amazing dinner.

The entrance is through the hotel. Delicious, fresh homemade pasta. Every meal was amazing! Our server was fantastic. He gave great recommendations and was very patient with all the questions from our party. We will be back.

This is a casual yummy place to eat. My husband had the calamari and I had a burrata salad. Both great starters! The bread was delicious too! We each had a seafood pasta entree. Both were really good. Would definitely go back. Recommend reservations as it was very busy for a weekday in the off season. Check out daily specials too.

Six of us had a wonderful birthday dinner tonight at Lupo. Our waiter could not have been more attentive and we each loved our entrees: Italian sausage manicotti, chicken parmesan, and spaghetti and meatballs. It was a great dining experience.

We stayed at The Hotel Rehobeth and this restaurant is right there. There is an excellent bar and a varied menu to satisfy any palate. Service is very good and the food was excellent. Lupo's has a casual, comfortable atmosphere with knowledgeable, efficient staff & great food. We will be back. Highly recommend.

Food was horrible, and I ordered over 170.00. and food portions were as you were feeding a child the taste was just like chef boy in a can. Parents live here thought I would get dinner for them I was wrong waste of money..

This was a new restaurant for us and it was a great dining experience they had a great appetizer of arancini on the menu also the old school meatballs are giant. Eggplant parmesan with very good and one thing that I've never seen My serving of bolognese came out steaming I have never had pasta brought to the table steaming it was steaming for about 2 minutes The service was excellent desserts were very nice and I love the modern decor

Enjoyed our meal, very good flavour, taste, we started with appetizers, Burrata and Meatball, all delicous, only thing would mention was no need to have salt on crostini as the olives were very salt. I had veal meatballs and spaghetti...same meatball as appetizer, would have ordered something different had I realized it would be same. Linda had braised pork belly, the mushrooms with it were very tough and chewy, not really edible, but every thing else was excellent. Finished off with lemon tart, blood orange sauce was fantastic.

Worst eggplant in the world. When you you are given a large steak knife to cut your eggplant parm, it is a big warning sign that it is not going to be good. Eggplant was tough and I couldn't even eat it. Second time dining here & it was bad both times. Husband agrees we will never return.

amazing Italian meal-my husband and I went on a tuesday night, which we found out that they were running a special that night-half priced parm platters..usualy when something is on special we shy away from it, but we went for it. My husband had chicken parm, and I had the eggplant..These were the best parm meals that we ever had! . each meal was cooked to perfection, and the waitress was very attentive and cheerful even though it was very busy. We can't wait to return!

Quaint hotel-attached restaurant with delicious Italian cuisine, about a 5-10 minute walk from the boardwalk/beach. Pleased to find classics and specialties. Catered well to vegetarian and a young picky palette that just wanted butter noodles. We had a new shadowed waiter but everything went super smooth, even as we dined past closing hours.

My family and I decided to try this restaurant and we thoroughly enjoyed the food and service. The place is not very large in size so it's recommended that you make a reservation in advance.

The restaurant was highly rated for having gluten free options, so we got take out while visiting Dewey Beach. The place was beautiful and everyone was very nice.. but the food was underwhelming and expensive. The cesar salad was 6 leaves of romaine with dressing on the side. The gluten free pasta was terrible and the grilled chicken it was topped with was worse. I can appreciate the restaurant trying to serve a gluten free clientele... but $78 plus tip was just crazy for what we got.

Stopped in this evening with a friend. First visit for me. Interiors were restrained and even bland. No sense of place. Anywhere USA but pleasant. I ordered the chicken parm. My friend had the eggplant parm. His looked better and I’d bet it was. Mine was simply a chicken breast breaded and fried with some sauce and cheese. I had expected it to be pounded thin and tender. It wasn’t - just a tough hunk of meat. The red sauce was lost. Tasteless. Overall the meal was as bland as the interiors. During dinner, the music was too loud and the beats too many. We had difficulty hearing one another and the beats didn’t match the setting. Rethink your sound track. The service was a bit heavy. Too many pop ins. Let us be. We’ll call when we need ya. I ate more quickly then my friend for various reasons, and finished earlier. Personally, I dislike the table being cleared too soon. It tends to put unnecessary pressure on those still eating. (He loved his eggplant. Let him enjoy it in peace.). When asked if my plate could be cleared early, I responded with a firm “No.” Dessert, red velvet cheesecake, was ok. Nothin special. The chocolate sauce tasted like it came from a container. It’s too easy to make, guys.

We had three glasses of wine (verdicchio Italian white) and two novel cocktails, and five dishes to go with the drinks. Burrata was served with roasted garlic, honey and toast points. The smoked trout, fennel and capers was also accompanied by toast points from the same house bread. While I tried the squid ink linguine frutti de mare in arrabiatta sauce, my better half had the calamari fritti and steamed mussels (traditional garlic butter white wine). All were delicious. Despite being busy after eight on a cold Monday at the end of January, the service was excellent. We will return.

We went to a 5 course dinner and wine tasting. 3 of the 5 courses were excellent the other 2 were average. The service was quick and friendly. Only real complaint was the noise level, very loud.

Wanted to like it on New Years Day. Nothing at all special offered or said to note the day. Our server was great, helpful and knowledgeable however the food was VERY average. If you’re Italian, the eggplant Parm is a miss. The sauce is soupy, the eggplant is cut thick and cooked less than al dente. Not layered, not baked… not for us. The rapini was very good. The bread and wine, nice enough. The ambience just eh, bright lights at dinner, current rock music was strange selection for a "nice" Italian restaurant. As a former restaurant owner, SoDel disappoints here. We really wanted to like it but no go. oh well.

The Frutti De Mare was delicious. This is my go-to dish at most restaurants, and Lupo Italian Kitchen's is rated above the best I've had. The only con on this dish was the portion size was very small, so it's more for a light appetite, or if you're looking to be more filled, plan for an appetizer first. My husband loved his Lobster Bucatini, but he also thought the portion size was too small. But overall, great food, better than any other nearby Italian restaurants we've visited, so we will definitely be dining here again.

Food was served hot, a sticking point with me. vegetarian options, not many restaurants can say that, besides a salad. The waitress was great, gave us time..

Every entree is $20+ and all you get is your main dish - want salad or a veggie? That's extra. It's nice that they make pasta on site, but I didn't find it worth the price. I had the shrimp al limone, and it was just okay, certainly not worth $28. Our server was very attentive and nice, but I found it distasteful for her to tell us she's working 6 days a week because she needs a new car.
