Food is a great, awesome place to eat

Not bad but nothing to boast him out either

The food is just ok. Don't fall forthe bogo margaritas. I'd come back again, but don't too either.

Excellent experience! No joke some of the best tacos I’ve ever had! Atmosphere was great, view of the ocean on one side and a boat parking lot on the other side. Clean too! 4th place we have eaten at since being here on vacation, it’s by far my favorite!

Maurice was our server's name. I found him to be extremely rude. As my friend was telling him something about the menu and asking questions. He responded as he waved his hand at her. I do not need to hear your explanations. As I ordered my taco I requested no Pico and no cream. I was told you'll have to take it as is. Once we got our food. He never came back to the table to check on us but did holler across the room. You ladies okay. Then he stood over in the corner by the bar and talking to his friends as they looked out into the dining room area making hand gestures as if he was making fun of somebody in the building. We had to get up to go get our check after asking the hostess for it because Maurice never came back to the table. Food was really good but service Left much to be desired.

Victor provided terrific service! Our food was wonderful. We thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere and dining experience. My my margarita was delicious! Update: 2024 visit we came for lunch. Mari was terrific and provided excellent service. Margarita, Taco Tuesday... It was delicious all around. We enjoy dining here. Gorgeous views, great atmosphere - this could become a favorite!

The waitress Ashley is great at her job and friendly. Very attentive with us and paying attention to the timing for next round of drinks. Cuddos for Ashley!!!

We were in the mood for some Mexican food while in the area on vacation and had this place recommended to us as one of the best in the area; and they were right! We came at dinner time and still got seated inside right away. Our server Ashley was very friendly and personable and was on top of everything! The food was also delicious, we had a great time, everyone wanted to make sure we come back here next time we're in the area!

Definitely NOT what you expect from the pictures and descriptions. The place is in the rooftop, DO NOT have elevator, my husband had to carry the stroller -up and down- with the baby in and wet floor without the security needed (a very easy lawsuit), once inside there was NO air conditioning , was raining, just imagine the heat inside. The server was good, she tried her best. I ordered a mojito I upgraded it and it was NOT a mojito at all , then I changed for a beer and was HOT as inside of the place. I ask my food without jalapeños and it was extra jalapeños! Anyway a very bad experience for a very special occasion:( not going back of course! I’m sorry just my honest experience!

Curtis is an absolute legend. Obviously an experienced well trained and engaging server. This was our second visit here and the staff delivered a fantastic experience. Food was delicious, well prepared- very fresh. We had the trio of dips, many different tacos, fajitas, street corn, eggrolls and the desserts! Everyone loved 🥰 their food ! Clean, beautiful restaurant and view! We will be back.

This place has great views and the staff is amazing! The food and the drinks are mediocre. We eat a lot of Mexican food and we feel like the food here was bland. They offer 2 for 1 margaritas and they taste like they have very little tequila in them.

The sights and seating are what you pay for, great little spot to dine, however the BOGO margs are a joke. $10 for the two of the worlds smallest margs Iv ever had. Food was decent.

My fiance and I just landed in Tampa, we wanted to try tacos and saw this lace had good reviews. Tiffany was very informative, quick, and sweet. She had great recommendations including the drink which was called the Tiffany special! So yummy and definitely recommend. I asked my fiance if the shrimp tacos he ate were good, and he said did you really have to ask me? I ate them in a minute and 40 seconds lol! They’re fantastic! View of the bay is beautiful

This was the most amazing, homey, Mexican food. Our server Ashley was an attentive QUEEN and took care of all our needs and filled us in on the menu. 10/10 recommend and will definitely be coming back when we are in the area

If you’re looking for authentic Mexican restaurant, keep searching cuz this is not it. Party of 5 we all had different meals, only one of us raved about the food and that was the birria tacos. Also in an authentic Mexican restaurant we get complimentary chips and salsa and here you had to order it. I also want to add that salsa music is not Mexican, they should be playing mariachi or cumbia. My personal preference, if I’m going to a Mexican restaurant I would like the full Mexican experience!

Living in the area I remember when this place was built, and have always wanted to go here, so my wife & I decided tonight was the night… Started with the ‘Midnight Margarita’ for my drink, which was very good… Then the ‘Santa Fe Egg-rolls’ for an appetizer… They were… good… For my entree, I got the ‘Mad Burrito’ w/ chicken… I’ve had way better burritos before… I always compare the burritos I get from Mexican restaurants to the one I used to get back up in New York, which was the all time best… This burrito doesn’t even compare to the taco truck burrito I get for lunch sometimes… Also, part of the outside facade, painted in big letters, “BOGO Margaritas All Day Everyday”… Well, that’s only for, as my server said, the ‘rinky-dink house margaritas’… …not for the specialty margaritas… Where does it say that??? Certainly not outside on their signs, nor even the menu… maybe it was on the menu, but I didn’t see it… There are far better places to have a Mexican dinner for two and spend your $80+ elsewhere… Oh, one more thing… be prepared to walk up two flights of stairs to get to the restaurant as their elevator if ‘Out of Order’

The food was not that well. Chicken was dry and season/less tomatos were runny and dry. Letuce was flavorless, I would not recommend the salad aswell it was tiny pieces of letuce with no flavor and wet tomatoes.

Horrible. What a big change from last year when I came to Mad Beach Cantina. The food is tasteless and not even close to Mexican flavor. What a disappointment.

What a special little place this restaurant is! Everybody here is very polite and kind. Ashley made our anniversary dinner date very memorable. The food is delicious and the service is outstanding. Will be coming again for another beach Cantina experience.

Their BOGO margaritas drew me in, but I should have known they wouldn't be good. Not only that, I ordered a margarita and my husband did not, and the server didn't even mention the BOGO promo. Whatever, let's wait for chips and salsa. Oh no, you have to order those and they're $2.99. Ok, that's dumb. Whatever let's order some Mexican food! The beans came straight from a can, the rice was definitely Uncle Ben's or something, the chicken in my enchiladas was so dry I couldn't chew it and my husband's "carne asada" tacos looked like dog food. And of course with tip it was almost $100. Cheap quality food at tourist prices. But hey, that's vacationing for ya!

Ashley was our waitress and she was amazing. Explained the menu and the margaritas. I had the taco salad which was very good and my other half had the steak tacos which were also delicious. I also had a passion fruit margarita that was to die for.

Staff is awesome. Never sit long before drinks arrive. Food is delicious. This was our second time. What we learned from the first time was we should share a meal. Big portions! Menu doesn’t leave you a lot of choices but everything they have should please someone/everyone. Morena was our server today and she was awesome. Make sure you try the street corn! Ammaazzzing!

We stopped in for Taco Tuesday! (7-16-24) Kay was our waitress, and she was awesome! Never stopped smiling and was super pleasant. We even had a minor order issue, and she handled it right away! Great, great job Kay!

Do not waste your time at this place. What a terrible experience. Took 18 mins for a waitress to even speak to us after we were seated. The BOGO margaritas are pointless & pre-mixed. Don’t even try go get an “upgraded” margarita… 1 margarita with patron ended up costing $22 (they said Patron was an $11 up charge)!!!! The salsa is definitely not fresh nor authentic. Also, ordered nachos as an app, never came out. Then after they came out later, they were incorrect. By the time I received the nachos it was after we ate our dinner & yes they charged me for them. A complete waste of $200!!!!

One star docked because a busser came over to grab plates and said “woah really gonna get your elbows into it” when I asked him to leave our chips and dips that was still almost half full (that we payed 10 dollars for!). Completely inappropriate! Please don’t make comments to your guests about how much they eat!

Do I miss the old Mad Beach Fish House? Of course… is this a delicious replacement with fantastic service? Also yes. Kay was amazing. 10/10 will return.

We came on Tuesday and our waitress was Ashley And she was wonderful and provided great service. We came back on Thursday and our waitress was Morena and she was also wonderful and provided great service. We also tried the fried ice cream. It was amazing. We are in love with this restaurant. Don’t miss it when you are in town. We will be back when we are in town next!

Me and my son came for dinner on a Tuesday night what a amazing place Ashely was awesome super attentive to us the menu was great Mad nachos where perfect to share shrimp tacos where great and dessert was perfect. If you're staying in the area and you don't stop you're missing out.

Tourists, as a local…. There are better places… go elsewhere. Food - no good. Service- okay, atmosphere just, good. (outdoor seating)… first and last time.

If you are looking for a rooftop option, this place is great. Bar area on roof is covered, but then there is uncovered seating with temporary covers. Then there was seating inside as well. Its direct views of the inter coastal and boat parked on the inter coastal waters. You can see the beach ⛱️ a little through the gaps between the hotels but not a direct view of the beach. It's still a fun little place. We went a sunset time. Unfortunately, the direct sun set is hidden behind the hotels blocking the view at the end. But, the sky was beautiful, changing colors. The food was good, not AMAZING but tastful, and the service was very slow. Could have been understafed as she was the only server outside we saw and managers were delivering food. But, it took forever to order food & drinks & get our food. But, we were enjoying the view and not in any rush so not a huge deal for us. 3 of us and we were there almost 2 hours and got 1 appetizer, 3 main courses, 1 dessert it was around $110.00. Kinda normal for this area on the beach but, for Mexican cantina food very pricey. I'm glad we exsperinced it because it's a newer location in our area. But, I wouldn't be back unless a guest/friend from out of town wanted a view & Mexican style food.

This place is AWESOME! Food, service, management this is the total package. Our server was Chelse and she was AMAZING! Over the top great service! Constantly checking on us, filling our drinks, and making dinner fun. If you want GREAT food, view, and service this is the place. Also the manager Jessica checked on us and again her service was a perfect 10!
