We got there late last Friday and caught the last song by Zen Trembles. Vibe was excellent! Food was already closed. Would love to go to back for a full night. I shared this video on my live music pages on FB & Instagram (Live Music West Cobb)

As the kids say, “the vibes are impeccable.” And Don’t miss the new follies show “The end of the road” and then stay for the live music on Fridays or the open mic showcase on Saturdays. Magpie’s inspires performers from all over the globe to share their talents. Add to that a supportive community audience, excellent food & drinks & dancing = magic! This has by-far become my favorite place to enjoy the best of the Summer! Huge thanks to Maggie & her team for providing such excellence on all levels. We appreciate you! ☺️

The true magpie herself, Maggie, has created a beautiful place where everyone is welcome and the community is so strong! ❤ from the Valdez Follys show, to live music every week, to open mic night, to delicious food and coffee. MAGPIES HAS IT ALL! You'll definitely want to make a stop here. It is the true night life of Valdez. This place holds a special spot in my heart.

I enjoy visiting Magpies, an enchanting outdoor cafe nestled in the heart of Valdez, Alaska. From the moment I stepped foot into this charming oasis, I was utterly captivated by its serene ambiance, mouthwatering offerings, and warm hospitality. When in Valdez, its one of my favorite places to visit regularly. Magpies boasts a captivating outdoor setting that's perfect for enjoying the Alaskan scenery. The cafe is surrounded by lush greenery and offers ample seating, both under the open sky and sheltered from the elements. Whether you're sipping a coffee or indulging in a pastry, the backdrop of Valdez's natural beauty enhances the overall experience. They pride themselves on serving delectable, fresh-baked pastries that are nothing short of delightful. The scones were tender and flaky, the muffins were moist, and the cinnamon rolls were heavenly. Pairing these treats with their fantastic coffee is a match made in heaven. The coffee was rich and aromatic, and you could tell it was brewed with care. But that's not all! Magpies also offers a splendid selection of local and craft beers. It's the perfect place to unwind with friends after a day of exploring the stunning Alaskan wilderness. The variety of options ensures there's something for every palate.

I am on the road exploring Alaska and while in Valdez.... I spent most of my nights here. The food was delicious, the staff was super friendly and outgoing, the beer was cold and the music was outstanding. I went for open mic night as well (twice).... a good time!!

Just a good place to hangout and relax with friends.

It has a 50s feel to it and the owner along with the girls that help run it are absolutely beautiful and very pleasant. Some of the best food and not overpriced compared to other places in Valdez. Just an all around good vibe atmosphere with good location and parking😉.

The best earl grey tea latte ever had. The carrot cake was so rich and delicious. Scones here are light and delightful. Real good service.

Cute little area. Had fun doing the trivia night and the little food trucks had awesome sandwiches.

Stopped for treats only, it was raining. No indoor seating. . The show only runs on Friday and Saturday. Very friendly staff and the snack were delicious.

Super yummy food and a great show!

I had smoked Salmon quiche!!! Was very good! but she is best known for her pastries. I’ll have to go take a walk and then come back and try some of those. This is a must see place in Valdez👍👍👍👍👍

This is a great place! The atmosphere is great. The karaoke is fun and they have a nice selection of beer and wine along with food. They serve breakfast through dinner and even have a dinner theater.

Everything we’ve had from here has been amazing. The breakfast is delicious, coffee is lovely (so many choices!) and lunch/dinner is great too. I really loved the southwest wrap for dinner!
