This place is great! Went there for my first time. I got takeout after an appt at Quest and fasting until 2:00. Nice place, bright and clean. Got the "Where's" Waldorf salad. Delicious. All the ingredients were fresh and tasty. The chicken salad was above average. Portion was big. All in all better than Saladworks. I asked and they've been open since Oct 2023. I live 4 miles away and didn't know they were here until finding them on Google maps. We've been wishing for a good salad place, so hopefully more people find them and they continue to do well. In fact, that's why I'm taking the time to write this review. So if you've read to here, go eat there next. 🙂

Especially friendly staff for both of my visits, delicious and filling and fair priced salad, and a “no tips please” policy which was a pleasant surprise. Their philosophy: as a small business, it’s their responsibility—not their customers’—to ensure their employees are well compensated. Wow!

Large salad selections and very friendly staff! Yhey also have outdoor seating as well.

Employees were very helpful with suggestions above the extensive menu. Salads were large portions with bit size ingredients so it’s perfect to dive in and you’re not left cutting your salad. Perfect salad to fill you until the next meal, or the day! Highly recommend

Went here for the first time today and was super impressed! They had lots of great salad options and put your order together right in front of you so everything is nice and fresh. You could also make your own salad if you want! In addition, they have paninis and wraps and some other menu items as well. I got a panini and my husband got a salad and both were soooo good! The employees were extremely nice and did a great job helping us. We will be back next time we are in town!! Highly recommend!

Today was my first time at Main Street Salad and I absolutely loved it!! The inside is so cute, and my Waldorf chicken salad and BLT panini were both amazing! I will 100% be back to this awesome local spot!

Probably my favorite local place, salads are always really good and you can taste how fresh the produce are. Really nice big salads lots of dressing choices and they never do that thing where they load you up on greens and skimp on toppings like some places will. I'll pick up take out for the family and everyone always enjoys it. Staff are always really kind and there's a nice dining area indoor and outdoor, 10/10!

Absolutely amazing. Only in town for a couple of days and made a point of coming back. Service is impeccable and genuine.

First time visiting Main Street Salad today…definitely first of many future visits. Walked into a welcoming atmosphere…the inviting store front is scattered with sweet little succulents. I was welcomed with a warm friendly greeting & a genuine smile from Ben. Ben was extremely kind, helpful, efficient & professional. Working in the customer service hospitality industry for most of my life, I always value great service from people who actually enjoy doing it! Food was delicious & was prepared perfectly! Ben used gloves to start my wrap, came to ring up my order…(I paid in cash)threw out the gloves & put on a new pair to take my wrap off the grill to package it for me. Huge deal to me! Working in restaurants/bar will open your eyes to things you never thought a person preparing your food would overlook. Thank you Ben for being awesome! Usually, I will tip when I receive great service but there is a sign on the register regarding no tipping. I was a little taken back by it but to know the staff is being generously compensated for their authentic customer service skills is pretty cool. Dealing with people all day is hard work especially unkind people :) thank you for a wonderful first experience at Main Street, Ben! See you soon !

Great food, great people, great place

Met my husband for lunch and we both had the best salads. It was very hard to decide between salad, panini, wrap, or bowl. So many fresh and delicious options. There is something for everyone, even someone who isn't into salad.

High quality fresh food - just like I would do it in my own kitchen - but they have done it all for you! Staff is super pleasant and the place is always extremely clean. I wish they had another location closer to my house!

Been here for lunch many times over the past few months, cannot get over how good the good is. All ingredients used are fresh and of the best quality. Tried the new Pickle Bun Panini and it also was amazing.

I had been anxiously awaiting the grand opening of this place and today I finally got over to try out Main Street Salad and my expectations were exceeded! It’s such a cute shop with indoor and outdoor seating in a bright, clean atmosphere. I was kindly greeted as soon as I walked in, I got the Where’s Waldorf Salad with chicken salad and the recommended dressing. I can say this is one of the most delicious and fresh salads I’ve ever had. So good that I didn’t think to take a picture before I started eating. Highly recommend, can’t wait to continue grabbing lunch here and making my way through the menu!

Visited this place for the first time today and had an excellent freshly prepared Cobb salad. HIGHLY recommend the cucumber wasabi dressing. Love the plant themed decor too! Will definitely be back.

Best kept secret!! We had an incredible Waldorf salad it was large but I thought I'll take the rest home...NOPE ate it all it was soooo good! This place is clean, happy and food the BEST!!!

Tried Main Street Salad for the first time today after driving by it for months, and WOW! I'm so glad I did! I was recommended the chicken waldorf salad from employee Alex C (who was extremely kind and knowledgeable) and it was a huge portion size and extremely tasty! I would definitely recommend Main Street Salad to anyone looking for a great, healthy, lunch option! Thank you again to Alex for a great recommendation! Can't wait to come back.

Decided to try for the first time after hearing such amazing reviews and I have to say the salads and soup are absolutely delicious. When we got home (ordered pickup) we realized they forgot to grab the soup we ordered and they immediately offered to have someone drop it off. Incredibly great staff and delicious food , thank you !

Just what we needed here in Harleysville a local place to eat healthy

I am a returning customer because our family enjoys it so much. I have high standards for the Waldorf Chicken Salad because of the Lederach Tea Room. BUT, this Waldorf Chicken Panini is BANGING! So, so, so good! The staff is very welcoming and open to chatting while they make your fresh food in front of you. I really can’t say enough wonderful things about Main Street Salad and it will continue to be a go-to in our family!

Phenomenal service and wonderful, abundant food. I ordered online and received a call a few minutes later. The employee wanted to ensure that I had ordered the correct dressing. She explained two items that are similar and offered to send a container of one of them along for me to try. The salad was great! It was big enough that I saved about a third for the next day (I honestly think it's about once a year that I get enough at a restaurant to have leftovers, especially with a salad). The toppings were generous. I specifically noted that there were so many delicious glazed pecans, which often restaurants skimp on. It was my first time eating their food, but it is going to become a staple.

One of our favorite local spots. Quality food, friendly service, and a beautifully decorated & clean eatery. The owners are so nice and remember us every time we come in. We are so lucky to have a local healthy option for a quick bite. MSS is a true Harleysville gem 🥗

What a great place for a creative salad.

Great food. Super expensive. Paid $20 for a regular salad and an iced tea cup. Got an attitude too for not paying $1.49 for an extra bowl to share. Have 4 people working. Too much overhead.

Salad was very good and the ingredients tasted fresh. That being said, this is an expensive place to eat. I'm surprised at all the reviews saying it was affordable. A create your own salad and iced tea was $20. Ridiculous.

I was in the area and stopped in looking to get a quick lunch. The food is very fresh and there are a ton of options with make your own available as well. Everyone working there was friendly as well. Very impressed with the quality I will definitely be back.

Tried Main Street salad for the first time. I ordered the southwest ranch salad with the chipotle lime ranch dressing and it was so good. I can’t wait to try other items from the menu. So glad we now have something fresh to go to in the area!

My go-to is the Chipotle Chicken N Bacon Panini on Focaccia bread. So much that I ordered it twice this week! I went there with a group of my coworkers today and they all loved the paninis, bowls, salads, and wraps they ordered. The staff is very friendly, professional, and accommodating. Great addition to Harleysville and I hope their doors are open for a long time!

Went for the first time today! Everything was awesome! I had broccoli cheddar soup(so thick and creamy) my husband had the tomato and red pepper soup , very flavorful! He had a huge salad everything was really fresh. I had the panini and it was stuffed full. And so was I lol and you can't beat cantaloupe flavored tea. It's sooo good!

Everything tasted amazing and fresh! The lemon garlic vinaigrette was 🤌🏽🤌🏽 so good!

Stopped in for lunch with my family. Food/service/atmosphere was excellent! Very clean, well spaced, bright dining room. Great place to stop in for a quick bite by yourself, or a leisurely, laid back bite with family & friends. So many healthy options from salads to paninis to wraps to soups - all hot and very tasty. I have been waiting for this restaurant to open and try it out and I finally did today. I had the most wonderful salad, Farmer’s Harvest. It was absolutely delicious! I am so grateful to finally have a restaurant with healthful food in Harleysville! I highly recommend it!

Very cute restaurant. The toppings are always incredibly fresh (their cherry tomatoes are amazing even though it's winter!), and we have not been disappointed! Nice to have another place that isn't fast food.

I had the Turkey bacon and cheddar pannini. Wow was it good! Staff was super friendly, ordering was quick and easy. Easily the best sandwich I've had in i can't remember how long. If you haven't tried their sandwiches I would highly reccomend.

So excited to share that we now have a fabulous option for fresh soups and unique salads in Harleysville. The chicken salad is the best I’ve ever had. All made fresh there and it’s savory - something you won’t find at Hennings. Delightful people, beautiful place with seating inside and out, fresh and healthy food - what more can you ask for!!??

When I parked, I saw there were 3 outside tables full of people and a couple tables inside were occupied as well. Seeing a busy place is always a good sign. I ordered the Southwest Salad with Chipotle Lime Dressing and the Corn Chowder. Wow. That salad was huge, but absolutely fresh and delicious. I am too full to try my corn chowder. But now I know for next time, just the salad. As I was leaving, I heard a customer from outside come in and compliment them on the Chicken Salad. She said it was the best she's ever had. I think that might be on my order next time! ;) Thank you for the fantastic lunch!

Main Street Salad is a hidden gem!! We have always driven to Lansdale to Saladworks but decided to stop in our own neighborhood, and we definitely were not disappointed!! We had no idea how big this place was on the inside and CLEAN! Service and atmosphere were great! Nice music playing over the speakers. The menu is nice and vegan friendly. The portion size was definitely worth every penny spent, which actually isn't much as well. Not to mention the taste!! Our salads were so fresh!!! This is our new spot! Can't wait for the spring so that we can sit out side and enjoy our salads.

This place has the freshest food I’ve had. I had the Buffalo chicken salad and it was amazing. The portions are huge and the chicken was fresh and yummy. The atmosphere was great and the inside was so clean and set up so cute. I definitely recommend giving them a try.

My family and I just tried this place out tonight and it's perfect! Just what this town needed! A simple soup and salad place that's affordable and fresh! I created my own salad and the bowl was huge! Could have been for 2 meals but I was very hungry and it was delicious!! Their menu is always changing they said and their soups are fresh. It was very good and we will definitely go back!!

Great new salad place! I got the chopped hoagie salad special and my husband got a create your own salad and everything tasted fresh! The line moved quickly and the service was professional. Portions are large and restaurant was clean. Our only small critique is to have the topping choices listed out somewhere.

Me and my partner went for lunch and could not be more impressed! The building was so cute!! If you’re a plant lover you’ll definetly love the decor! Today is their opening day and while you can definetly tell they’re a bit nervous the staff was so friendly and eager to help! I got the “southwest ranch salad” and it was phenomenal! My partner also got the “Where’s Waldorf salad” and he said the chicken salad was better than Paneras!! They have a wide variety of choices and three different blends of salad bases! Also, I know I saw somewhere that their prices may be a bit high, but imo the quality of ingredients and amount of salad received definitely makes it worth it!! Additionally, after speaking with the kitchen staff they mentioned that they swap their salads out every few weeks!! I’m very interested to see what else they come up with! We will definitely try again!

The servers were kind and willing to give me takeout during the soft opening, even though the expectation was to dine in. The server placed my dressing on the side to avoid a soggy salad. The portion sizes were very generous. I had the sweet autumn salad. The ingredients were fresh and tasted delicious.
