The best food in the hood. I've been going here for decades and it's safe. Bartenders are so hospitable and they have the best prices in Chesapeake no cap. It's best to go during the afternoon when no one is in there.

Called in fried fish dinner with Mac and cabbage as sides. I was little disappointed today both of my sides just weren't good, now the cabbage tasted as if someone just dropped the entire thing of pepper in it, but I think it would've been good if not so much pepper that was all you taste. Now as for the Mac it was edible, you can tell it was reheated for today but on top of that I believe it was put in microwave and forgotten (mayb just assuming) it was hard burnt but not oven burnt but like hard from microwave. The fish itself was good. So I'll stick with individual items instead of dinner, haven't had any luck with their side food. I usually get a porkchop sandwich which is very good. I returned 7/19/24 and got chicken wings dinner with Mac and fries, chicken was great... Mac not so much.

Food is good atmosphere is friendly. The only downside is they hardly have the sides I want. The staff is ok, but there is only one bartender, and he is the order taker as well. He is doing the best he can but you may have a little wait when wanting to place order.

The food is great! The service was on point, and the atmosphere was chill. Nice little spot to listen to music, play some pool, and have a few drinks with friends.

If you want cold fries and chicken with no seasoning 👀 then you come to the right spot !! Ask for glass glass for my beer was told " don't have glasses ,gave me a paper cup"until he saw the tip on receipt !! Then he gave me a cloudy glass .Not complaining !! Just explaining 😶

Just a nice casual bar with good food. Somewhere you can wear your flip-flops and get a nice drink!

PLEASE SAVE YOUR $. They don’t bother to pluck feathers off the chicken. Every bite is feathers and tough skin etc like they didn’t clean it just dropped in flour and grease. For the rice to be so dark it has no flavor. I got chicken wings and sausage fried rice. I would give it a 0 but I can’t!

Passing through on a late night and found my new favorite spot for fried wings and rice.., dark rice was definitely on point….

May be a hole in the wall but they have the best chicken wings and fried rice....I'm almost 50 and have ATE EVERYTHING.they are worth the wait .BTW, parking is very tight after 5....use Patience on the weekends

I tried this new place I ordered chicken wings and french the food was awesome the chicken was superb and also the fries but it is very pricey $13 for chicken wings and french fries and you only get four chicken wings, but I gave it four stars because the food was great and the customer service was great also I think the prices could be a little cheaper though.

Good chicken and sausage fried rice

I purchased the 4 chicken wings w/ 2 sides (fries & Mac) & a roll. The chicken & fries were really good; she gets an A+, but that Mac & chz deserves a “child please”😂… it’s the old Kraft Mac — w/powdered cheese so I just won’t get it again. The tea was good & sweet!Total was $15…. Good value for what I had!

The chicken was hot and fresh I seen that they also have a bar inside but I was headed to work. They get 5 stars from Me because everything was hot and flavorful.

I always get the chicken and shrimp yak. I like it but I am finding that the taste varies depending on the cook. I'll have to start asking for names so I know what I'm getting.

Food and customer service is always amazing

The food was edible but we could smell and taste the old burnt grease/oil it was fried in. This was the first bad experience with Mia's famous Chicken n fries! The young lady bartender was very helpful, accomodating and was cleaning the tables constantly.

Best friend chicken and shrimp fried rice is the city and her rep is untouched . The rice is fried dark and full or flavor and the chicken is seasoned and fried to perfection hot or cold. It will blow you mind how the food can cook down and kinda be better with more flavor … you won’t be disappointed and I’m a avid Fried hard lover and this place never disappoints. TRY IT OUT ! I wish she had delivery tho 😩
