We are so lucky to have gotten the chance to eat at MaMa Mia's on the last night before they close. We had the Fra Diablo Chicken Pasta dish & it was delicious. Best Wishes to the family in their next pursuits.

Incredible food and everyone was incredibly sweet. The portions were massive. I'm sad that I waited so long to stop in to try them out. I completely understand why so many people are so sad to see them close. Will definitely stop in tomorrow before they close permanently.

Eating at Mamma Mia’s feels like walking into your grandmother’s kitchen and being served the best plate of love-filled food you’ll ever have. The menu is simple but you know everything on there has been perfected. Their gyro melts in your mouth and the fries are super crispy and full of flavor. This will be a staple in our dine-out rotation for sure.

I got their hummus, gyro w. Fries and Ekmek dessert and oh my, it was so good. I couldn’t finish everything but I made sure to finish the dessert. Food was delicious, fresh and service was great. The women was super nice. I definitely recommend trying this place out!

Sadly, they use awful mass-produced tzatziki dressing. I'm glad Mediterranean food is opening to a wider audience, but unfortunately, these new customers are not getting tzatziki as it's meant to be.

Someone said there were Vegan options. No really. One wrap and salad. The wrap was ok, a little too wet because of the dressing they put on.

Always stop by for a gyro when visiting St. Robert and FLW. Their food and service is excellent. Definitely worth trying.

Mama Mias is one of my my top favorite places! The food is beyond delicious and the staff is always super nice!

Gyro Sandwich is excellent and the fries are really good too. Update. I also had the gyro salad. Fresh leaf lettuce, tomato and cucumber. Very good dressing. It was also full of Gyro meat. Great salad!

Best gyros anywhere, with amazing fries. Period! Walking distance to Comfort Inn and other hotels, Never hove had a bad or even mediocre meal.

The food was absolutely amazing. The owners daughter is a beautiful woman with a sweet soul. I asked about the salad dressing. Her dad makes it. I said I would be back to get some when my husband got his disability. She came outside and asked us to wait a moment. She brought out a cup of dressing to me. Thank you so much. I absolutely loved everything. But especially your kind heart towards a disabled vet and his wife. We will be repeat customers.

I'm going to review this place for what it is, which is a low price quick bite to eat. If you're looking for fine dining, you're in the wrong place. If you want decent Greek style food without breaking the bank, this place is for you. The atmosphere is pleasant, but nothing fancy. The service was very friendly. I don't know who was manning the register, but her unrelenting smile brightened my day. She was helpful and friendly to boot. The cook (owner?) also popped out to check on us and was very friendly. The pita bread was great, in my opinion. The hummus was nice and garlicky. I got the Mama Mia wrap and was perfectly satisfied with it. It was as stuffed as full as I could have been. My wife really liked her salad too. I'd come back again.

Belligerent and rude staff who embarass u

Very poor service. One worker publicly shames people for what they order. Workers not friendly. Spartan gyros is much better and the staff is way friendlier. Don’t know how this place is even still in business. Food is alright

I hate to leave a bad review, but it's only fair to do so. It's 1:30 am and I still can't sleep because my stomach is still bothering me from the greasy Gyros and fries. I'll be happy to delete my review if the name "authentic" is removed from the name of this restaurant. I've been to Greece and the food there was unbelievably delicious, so I know a bit about "authentic" food. This Gyros was bad and totally unauthentic. I should have gone to McDonald's instead. At least I could have saved more than 2 thirds of what I paid here.

We stopped here on our way to St. Louis and it was amazing. The gyros we prefect! Everything was full of flavor and well made. The owner was so friendly and welcoming. She made my husband a ice coffee. He normally only drinks hot, back with nothing in it coffee but couldnt stop talking about her coffee after we left. We will be back when we are next in the area

Awful! the pita very greasy. I told them to add lettuce and they didn't. little onion and a piece of tomato and very little cheese and it's not 💯 lamb almost 14 dollars. better are the ones they make at the Spartan restaurant near the base. In Texas and Greece they are prepared with red onion, lettuce, cucumber, tomato, and thick sauce. but this place doesn't even do the sauce well. AWFUL!!!

The gyro sandwich is sooo good!! And the battered fries are always fresh and crispy!

Was staying in a nearby hotel and wanted to try something different. The gyro was incredible. Service was great and didn’t have to wait long. Highly recommend if you are in the area!

Came in last night to get some gyros. Not real sure if the owner took over already or what happened, but the food was so bad. Most of the meat was as dry as jerky, the tzatziki was super watery like watering than normal, the pita bread was way smaller than usual, and the meat that wasn't dry was cooked all the way. Just the worst experience I've had from this place and I've been coming here for years.

I have so much love for this place 😍 Driving to Michigan from Arkansas, we were looking for a place with hearty but, healthier food options that worked for our vegetarian 🥦 and our meatatarian 🥩. We were not disappointed and all blown away with the quality of the lamb in the lamb sandwich & wrap and the portion sizes of their items including the Hummus wrap were incredibly filling! You'll ask yourself why you get pita with the wrap but, you need it to soak up the goodness - the sauce and bits that fall out of the big mouth bites... Oh my word....🥳 The fries are super crispy and flavorful, too and don't forget to add the spicy tizitki sauce! Lastly, the sweetness, kindness and warmth emanating from the man helping us made us feel not just welcomed but, cared-for. I mean, where else do you get that feeling? 🤷🏼‍♀️ I don't know but, I know you need to come eat here and feel the warmth and love from the food and folks! Thanks so much for making this our new stopping place!

Was passing thru and was pleasantly surprised! I’m very hard to please when it comes to food! My hummus wrap was great! The veggies were very fresh and the Greek dressing was fantastic! It was a good size so now I have leftovers! Just upset I am so full I can’t finish my pita bread because it was the best I’ve ever had

The food tastes fantastic! If you don't know what something on the menu is, they are happy to explain! I recommend the gyro wrap- the pita is so delicious! And for those who are StL natives- they have toasted ravioli!

Gyro was great. Wife had the chicken gyro salad. She loved it. Said it puts paneras Greek salad to shame. Kids ate their food. Zero complaints here.

This place is so good. I get a chicken gyro with feta and fries and every time it’s the best thing I’ve ever ate.

Sorry, I can't share photos bc I devoured it!! First time there and the woman at the window was incredibly sweet and upsold us on the off menu desserts (some sort of phyllo and custard that was delicious). We had the gyro sandwich that came with fries and tzaziki. The aroma coming from my styrafoam containers had my mouth watering. The gyro meat was tender and full of flavor, the fries were crispy and the best I've had in awhile, and I should have gotten extra tzaziki bc I wanted to drown in it. I don't know why this place didn't have a line around the corner but it is my new go to for good food.

Great place to try some amazing Mediterranean food.

We went with friends to Mommas the other night and the food and staff were great. You cannot go wrong stopping in here for a bite to eat!

We are working in Missouri for a couple weeks and have been trying some of the local places. Since one of my coworkers is vegan Mediterranean food seems like a good choice. I ordered the chicken fra diavolo and she had a veggie gyro. They both were very good, mine had just the right amount of heat and the chicken was tender and juicy. The service was stellar a very friendly place. I would recommend this little gem with out any reservations.

I ordered to go and it was ready in 3-5 minutes. Very good gyro platters with really decent french fries, and extremely reasonable prices. Great location for most of the local hotels when you don't feel like going out. I'll definitely go back when in the area.

I've only been by the drive-thru, but lemme tell ya these Gyros are great. Don't even get me started on those fries - they are absolutely perfectly crisp. It's hard to drive by and not want to stop. Try this place, you won't regret it

I came in 10 minutes to close and Mama greeted me warmly. I didn't know what to order and she was incredible at guiding me to the greatest gyro sandwich I've ever had (spicy) I almost ordered chips instead of fries and was gently (and very correctly) nudged in the direction towards their fries which mama claimed are "the best in the entire town" She was correct. About everything. Incredible food and experience. 6/5 stars if I could.

We've lived here for 2 years and finally tried Mama Mia tonight, and we were not disappointed. A little pricey, but honestly, it's worth it. Especially since it's something different. My husband and I ordered the gyro with lamb. The fresh onions and tz..(I'm not even going to try to spell it) sauce. Moist and perfectly seasoned. The fries were excellent. Our son had the fried ravioli and he liked it. We also ordered the hummus and it was hands down, the best we've ever had. Kind of mad at myself for waiting so long to try it. The dining area is quaint, but clean. The employees were nice.

Delicious food and a great environment. The owner and her staff are very nice. My friends and I met there just to catch up and the staff was very attentive the whole time we were there. I recommend to everyone local or passing by. The food was great and you will be taken care of very well.

I was actually walking toward Ruby Tuesday and Pappos Pizzeria, then I caught a whiff of their gyro sandwich. That settled it for me. The gyro sandwich was super good if you enjoy fat onions and thick tomato slices with your meat and tzatziki sauce. I recommend Mama Mia to those with working taste buds.

Best Mediterranean food in the area.. My gyro sandwich pita with feta was delicious. I just wish the tzatziki sauce would have been a little thicker.

Amazing Gyros, I tried the lamb and beef gyro and it was amazing well seasoned and warm. The fries we very crisp and tasted great I will recommend to anyone in the area to try it. One of the top restaurants in the area in my opinion.

I always have the Greek salad, and it never fails to delight! I wish we lived nearby--I would try some of the other dishes, but I can't deny myself a good Greek salad since we're there so rarely. My husband has loved every dish he's every tried, and last time we were there, I overheard a lady telling the proprietor that she was eating the best gyro she had ever had.

Nice little place. I had the toasted ravioli and the Keftedes. Very bold and excellent flavors in these dishes. Definitely a place to come back to.

Excellent food, atmosphere, and service. I went back tonight. The food was good. The problem was the service. The owners daughter was at the register. I asked for a Gyro with a side Greek salad instead of fries. She said, " the gyro comes with fries, but I can add a side salad.". Not very accommodating. I really wanted a Greek Salad because their vinaigrette is fantastic. But I wanted a Gyro also. So I went with the fries and paid an additional$3.99 for a salad. Then asked for extra Tzatziki to dip my fries in. Got home, no fries. The whole fiasco cost me an additional $5.00 plus tax. I have seen this happen to others when I am dining in, but my first time experiencing it. Very disappointing. It would have been a different story had she not argued about it, when, clearly, it can be done.

This restaurant features; cold left over meatballs, a waitress that texts the entire time and looks like you are annoying her, you get your own utensils, any food that is warm and edible is extremely ok. All this for the low price of $60! Garbage isn't worth a 1 star review.

Was in the area to see my son at Fort Leonard Wood before being deployed abroad. During my stay I tried Mama Mia's Restaurant to go. This would be my first time trying Mediterranean food and it was delicious. I had also bought two pies from the cooler to eat at the hotel room after my food. I didn't eat them and brought them home and just got done trying them. Yes, I sad them...i ate them both in one sitting lol They were delicious. My regret is that I did not try the pies while I was still in Missouri.... I am back in Texas now and am tempted to make the 11 hour drive back to Missouri to buy more pies. If I am ever in Missouri again I will be bringing a cooler with me for pies to bring back to Texas

Was in the area and had check it out after seeing the reviews. Gyro sandwich was so good. It was huge stuffed with meat and all the toppings. Every bite was moist and filled with flavor and they have the best fries I've ever had. My little man scarfed his chicken nuggets and once he tried the tzatziki sauce he found a new favorite sauce. I'll be back for sure.

Wow! Delicious hole in the wall restaurant!!

My husband and I stopped in to try this place since we’ve heard good things and it will definitely be the only time we go. It was horribly overpriced, not the cleanest place and everything comes in styrofoam to-go containers (massive amounts of waste), even for dine-in customers. We had the fried ravioli, which was by far the best and only good part of our meal, the keftedes and the chicken fra diavolo. The actual meatballs in the keftedes were not bad, but the pasta and sauce were a) the wrong type for the dish and b) super, super watery. Like, mushy watery. Definitely not worth $12. The chicken fra diavolo tasted like they used prego sauce and added Tabasco and same deal with the mushy pasta. Again, not even close to its $12 price tag. It’s a far cry from ‘authentic’ Mediterranean. But the kicker for the whole thing was that we saw the owner go into the bathroom (which wasn’t clean) and come out within 10 seconds of the toilet flushing. You can hear the water and paper towels through the wall and we definitely didn’t hear her use either. That is a huge health code violation, especially in a time when people are extra cognizant of hand washing, that I can’t forgive that. She didn’t even use the hand sanitizer on their counter as she walked back in to the kitchen. So. Gross. Don’t waste your money.

I've been loving these gyros for a decade and Mama Mia's was one of the first foods I had to have when I got back. Their prices are a bit high but the gyros are one of a kind. I've tried to find a similar gyro in many states and nothing compared to them

SO GOOD. We stopped in for dinner on our way up to STL and were blown away by the quality of food and service. The gyro sandwich was amazing, and the tzatziki sauce is perfect. Even the French fries are good!!! 10/10.

I never leave reviews, but this place deserves one. I’m from out of town and every time I visited the area I made sure to stop by this restaurant. The best pita bread I’ve ever had. The chicken gyro salad is amazing, too! It’s rare to find hidden gems like this place! Try it!!

My wife and I have spent a lot of time in Greece and this is the best Greek food I’ve had in the United States. We were able to order our favorite Greek food that wasn’t on the menu and it was like we were in Greece again. The gyros, delicious as well.

Friendly staff… ordered two gyros with fries and Side salad. Gyros flavor was great but the tzatziki sauce was like water and I bought extra because I really like tzatziki. Not sure why. Usually creamy. Ran out of yogurt and used water? Idk but it was the worst need to work on that. Fries were great! Salad dressing was watery as well and taste like mustard. We’ve stopped here before on our way to Illinois and it was really good but this time. Well not so much.

Visited with the family while traveling through the area. We stayed traditional with the gyros during this visit. All of our versions were tasty and moist. My daughters really enjoyed the soft pita. Our recent experience elsewhere has been hit-n-miss on this area. I do suggest to ask for a little extra tzatziki sauce. If you don't use it on your gyros you can use it to dip your fries.

Really only one gyro option on on the menu - chicken - and it was just basic, cooked chicken breast, kinda bland... it left me wanting a real gyro, and some napkins!!! None at all in the bag. The pita bread was good, though.
