Old country family type restaurant. To me, this is the kind of place where you know you're going to eat well, and I was right. My wife and I travel a lot. We're always looking for local places to visit. We found this one on Google. We were greeted as soon as we entered. Super fast and friendly service, awesome food, healthy portions, and great prices. I highly recommend this place. Make sure to get them biscuits and gravy.

Whats not to love about this place! 😃 we were on a weekend trip from lady lake with our trailer! Went originally to Rn's, those one guys, it was the first place we saw after turning off the 484.. Super negative environment! Sat 25 minutes no one would acknowledge, went here! Omg they put the hospitality in the southern! Lol! 😆 Ate here 3 meals to die for!! Yum yums! Kudos! God bless America! 😎 Thank you for keeping the American torch alive!

Our first time camping in this area and we discovered this jewel of a restaurant!!! The outside could use some updating. Once you're inside, you're instantly welcomed and made to feel like family!! We ate here three times during our stay, and each time, we were warmly greeted and had some super delicious food!!! Highly recommended eating here, if you're in the area. We will definitely be back!!! Thanks y'all for cooking food with love!!!!! 💜

Now, this cook is the only cook that knows how to make my eggs perfectly every single time I have been here. Patty Melt, Gyros were both huge and delicious also. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED Nice family owned and operated. Support your local places, helping them stay in business.

Sunday breakfast every Sunday for us and best friends

I’m pretty sure other reviews on here are people who are used to eating packaged processed foods because that’s what I ate, NOT home cooked food. Everything was very plain and premade. Very dirty place, silverware still had food on it, no AC, as a local I won’t be eating here again. The server was awesome though, super sweet and attentive.

When we walked in someone from the back of the restaurant yelled to ‘sit anywhere you like’. We sat near the entrance at a table in front of the AC mounted on the wall. We soon realized the AC was leaking down the wall creating visible lines where dirt once was. We ordered our food. My son got spaghetti and meatballs and I ordered breakfast. When the waitress brought my plate she handed it to me and quickly took it back. I got a glimpse of some blue lint looking material was in my sausage. She went to the kitchen and dusted off my sausage patty then tried to convince me that the 3 seconds it took to walk out of sight and back in sight that more sausage was cooked. My son couldn’t even eat the spaghetti it had a funky smell to it. We barely ate it was that bad. The restaurant was in need of a major cleaning and repairs. I glanced in the kitchen on my way back from the restrooms and it was disgusting. We paid and tipped because in all fairness the waitress was very nice. Will never go back again! To read all these raving reviews is mind blowing!

We visited Inglis for a week, and had breakfast at Mama Sally's almost every day. We were treated like friends. The food was excellent, with generous proportions. If ever back in the area, we will definitely stop back in.

This place isn't what it used to be. This was once our favorite breakfast spot but this morning the breakfast was mediocre and the waitress was bland... @ 8:30AM, 2;Jun 2024

Probably one of the best breakfast meals I've had in a while. I had the 2,2,2. 2 pancakes, 2 bacon and 2 eggs. The pancakes were fluffy and the eggs cooked to a perfect over easy. Great food and great hospitality. Easy on the wallet too 🙃

Busy at weekend lunch time, because it's a great place to eat. Comfort food and a great staff. Always a treat when we are passing thru. Edit...breakfast anytime!

2024-02-16: I have been to Mama Sally's Restaurant several times in the past and have always enjoyed the food. This morning, I had the Meat Lover's Omelet with cheese, hash browns, rye toast, One Biscuit & Gravy, and a sweet tea. The food was excellent. Kim was the waitress. She attentive and kept my drink filled.

Good food in a home style restaurant.

I can't remember having better biscuits & gravy. Re-edit; I just went back and was extremely disappointed. Biscuits & gravy were borderline cold, and there was a big black hair in it. It's a real downer when you travel explicitly for what had been good food, only to be let down, hard. Really ruined my appetite.

Definitely a lonely roadside diner. You could drive by and miss it easily. That would be a shame if you do because the food was delicious, fair priced, and excellent service.

It's a great small town restaurant. The food was awesome and scratch made, the portions huge and the service friendly. I take the family every time we are in the area.

Have wanted to stop here for months. Not very clean, walls, floors, fixtures need fixing and WASHING. Food was just OK, only saw server 4 times... menus, brought drinks, later brought food.then brought the bill. We needed beverages refilled... Not that busy at 11am. Disappointed.

Kimmie was an amazing server. As well as the rest. When anyone walked by with a coffee pot, you were offered more. Food was excellent. Prices were fabulous. Definitely would come back again

Traveling from New Orleans, and stopped at this little place. A little outdated, small town place with some "regulars". Very friendly server took our order. I got the bacon cheeseburger with fries and a side of mashed potatoes and gravy. I mean, with a restaurant named Mamá Sally's, it's GOT to have great homemade mashed potatoes and gravy, right? I'm happy to report, YES!! Great mashed. The burger/bacon was awesome and my well done fries were done right. Great little place!

Great food and more than wonderful staff. They make you feel like home. Good selection on menu. Out of the way for most people, but worth the trip if you enjoy good food and small town friendliness. Cute staff a plus.

Great little place with great food and service. $11.99 for 1/2 pound bacon cheeseburger, fries and coleslaw. $10.99 for spaghetti and meatballs. Full with leftovers. Definitely be back.

Bingo in the Mama Sally's pride for the last 10 years we would travel up here from Pinellas county now we live here all the waitresses are always friendly on the food is awesomely great that's one of our favorite restaurants and now we live here in Inglis Florida.

This was an amazing place to stop in on our trip back from Alabama. The service is on point, they were able to accommodate for my Greek salad by adding gyro meat and sides of Tzatziki sauce. Very friendly make you feel like family.

Great food, stopped for lunch, husbandel enjoyed his burger and my reuben was good. Floor in the back by ladies room had soft spots, maybe due for updated interior.

Convenient parking. Clean, laid-back, homey, Gulf Coast feel. Relax and enjoy good tasting, properly prepared food. Look around, the wall hangings are for sale. I only wish I had received my coffee. 😥☕

Ordered the spinach pie, it comes with a Greek salad. Could not even eat all of the salad let alone the spinach pie. My husband Ordered turkey club. It was real turkey breast, not processed. Everything was AMAZING including the service! Will bring friends to share with next time.

The waitress LET ME order 2 biscuits with gravy , 2 eggs and some grits. 🤣 That meal could have fed 3 of me. The wife and I ordered 2 meals. Left with a bag of left overs lol Great friendly service. We were looking for someplace near Tampa General Hospital which only 6 minutes away. What a pleasant surprise. Food was excellent and the service was great. We live in Inverness but will drive out there again for the quality of service and taste of the food!!

Restaurant we usually go to was permanently closed so we tried Mama Sally's. It was a great change. You can get breakfast, lunch or dinner all day. There must've been 12 vehicles in the parking lot when we arrived and the place was packed. We got great speedy service. Thoroughly enjoyed this restaurant.

If you’re looking for a local diner with great food, great hospitality and a laid back atmosphere this place is a must when you’re in the area. My husband loved the chicken strips and said they were definitely the best he’s ever had and he makes them at CFA for a living. And eats them pretty much any meal out! Homemade food like mama makes is the claim and I think that stands true!

Had just came from the Gulf after a day of fishing. Had never been to this restaurant before. Walked in, our waitress greeted us with a smile. The food was awesome, waitress was awesome. Will definitely go back if we are ever in the area again.

Stopped by for some lunch for the first time. Family had a BLT, a grilled ham and cheese, and I had a rueban. All were delicious. Service was absolutely fantastic. Really appreciated the attention from all the servers. I was thirsty from the morning of scalloping on the Gulf, and they never let my sweet tea run dry. We just relocated to Yankeetown, and we will most definitely return to try out the breakfast and dinner menus. The prices are really affordable as well. Thank you for the awesome experience and we will see you soon

On my way from Ft. Meyers to Panama City Beach, I was searching for something to eat once I was about halfway there. I didn't want fast food and ended up finding this little southern gem. 💎 I encourage people to try places like this. Often, it's more than the food that leaves a certain taste in your mouth after you visit one-off restaurants like this one. It seemed like it was a family run restaurant and I felt like I was at the table in my grandmother's kitchen. ... Even had the smell of it - a light clean smell with all the country cooking aromas on top. 🥓🍳 The women working were very sweet, and the service was perfect. The check came quickly, and water came with lemon as requested. When I order water with lemon, it comes out without lemon at least half of the time I dine out. So +2 on quick check and lemon. 🍋 I had a full breakfast: two biscuits and gravy, two over-easy eggs, bacon, grits, and hasbrowns. Every part of it was perfect and what you would expect. Straight out of grandma's kitchen!

I've been coming here since 2015 an I gotta saw. This is my favorite diner in the whole US. The staff is the living embodiment of southern hospitality. After trying the whole menu I now order the same thing. An they know me an my order by heart. This is defs the place to go for good food, good conversation and a good time. Portions are very nice for the price.

Good "hometown" atmosphere and eats. Had a Ruben with soup (lemon chicken & rice?) while my wife and her mother had the spinach pie. They were good as well. Not a "fancy" place (or price) but good amount of food. Would recommend it for anyone budget wise (retired and anyone) who have patience to enjoy the food before continuing thier "agendas/missions" of the day. Easy access off Rt 98/19 between Dunnellon and Crystal River.

The food was amazing, affordable and exactly what we were looking for. There was an very extensive menu but we opted for the meatloaf dinner (added biscuits for the gravy) and open face turkey sandwich with mash potatoes and gravy. Everything was on point!! Omg, the sweet tea was to die for!! It was such a great place!! We will be back!!

It was just ok. Ordered biscuits and gravy with hash browns. Not enough gravy for the biscuits and they were tough. Hash browns were close to being burnt. Don't know if it was bad timing because they always had several cars there.

We have enjoyed breakfast here many times. Always spectacular! Today we tried lunch and it was so good. I had the spinach pie and a Greek salad and my husband had a hamburger. Both were so good. Better be hungry because they sure feed you.
