Amazing! Friendly staff. Excellent food. I haven't been to this location for well over five years. Coming back I thought things would be different. They were. They were Better. Better food. Better. Service. Better everything. Loved it!

Wonderful spot to enjoy dinner. Service was fantastic and their outdoor dining area is inviting and relaxing. The food used to be amazing here, but wasn't on this visit. Maybe just an off night?

We love going to Margaritas in Concord thanks to Nikki! She makes incredible drinks and provides exceptional service. It's so nice having someone remember us and our favorite drinks and meals. Nikki and the whole team do a great job making each time we go there a positive experience. We definitely recommend going!

We had dinner in the bar on Sunday night 9/1/24 and it was a great experience. It was a busy hectic day and we wanted to relax and unwind with some delicious food and drinks. Margaritas was the right place to do it. We enjoyed the guacamole with street corn appetizer as a starter and split a supergrande order of the shrimp fajitas for our dinner. Everything was cooked perfectly and we really enjoyed the portions and flavors. We each had two margaritas with dinner. The bartender Nikki made them exactly how we like them and she was always right on time checking in and seeing how we were doing! We really appreciate the entire staff and her in particular! We highly recommend going and are looking forward to our next visit!

Nicole is the BEST and is just AWESOME. She is a true gem for your company!

I enjoy going there for fish tacos and sitting in the jail cell. Lol, yes, dinner in a jail cell.

I ate here with my friends recently and we had a great time. We reserved one of the jail cells which is a very fun experience (the building used to be the old jail so you can eat in an old jail cell if you want to, highly recommend!). The food, service, and atmosphere were all great. Will be back!

Got sat in the back in corner where at least 40 people walked back and forth a couple inches from my chair. The ice machine was 10 feet from our table making noises the whole time and our server was apparently new so it took awhile to get our drinks. Usually have a good experience here but not this time.

Came here for lunch and Nicole was out server and she was AMAZING!! very attentive and gave us great recommendations. We had the Margarita Flight and House Margarita and all were great. He had margaritas favorite that came with an assortment of traditional flavors. I had the enchilada. Both came out perfectly and tasted as we expected. The wings though freaking amazing 😋 you HAVE TO TRY. We will be back. Hopefully we get Nicole again 👍

Guacamole was awful, barely had any taste to it and avocados weren’t ripe. Margaritas tasted like pure sugar with no alcohol.

It's such an awesome and amazing place. The food was fantastic and the staff was friendly. Prices are very reasonable. If you want an experience you won't forget. Stop by for lunch or dinner. It's worth it, hands down

Had a wonderful meal during that snowy nor Easter when everybody else was closed. Our server was terrific and our meals were super solid. We had fun and ate too much- which is always a good sign.

Highly recommended! Amazing food! The chips and salsa are absolutely the best. Perfectly mixed cocktails. Every server I have ever had has been awesome. One of my favorite restaurants. This particular Margaritas Restaurant use to be a jail. They converted the old jail cells into very nice and comfortable private dining. I researched it online after being seated in one of the jail cells and thought how authentic it looked. That's because it was the Concord Police Headquarters and Jail from 1890 to 1975. It housed prisoners and apparently there is also a ghost named "George" that reportedly haunts this place. I didn't have any paranormal experience myself, lol, but the cells are awesome to dine in. Also during the summer; especially in the evening, the out door dining area is absolutely beautiful. It is perfectly lit with soft white pendant/hanging light bulbs next to a gorgeous water fountain. So you have the option between choosing to dine in the cozy private cells or the romantically lit, beautiful out door setting. It is obvious that the owners and employees really care about this restaurant and put a lot of effort into making it a unforgettable experience. They have gone above and beyond for their customers. I strongly recommend dining here.

We went as a big group and enjoyed every thing! Managers and servers were amazing!! Even one girl was clocked out and she assisted with running our food. Food is very good! Can’t tell me it didn’t come from Mexico 🤣 best food I had in concord !!!!

No servers to greet you, girl behind the counter looked at me like I was an alien when I asked for a table for 2, upon sitting down the lady and the guy she was talking too just stared at me, left without eating weird and rude "staff" that work here, looked at me with utter confusion and like I had three heads when I asked for a table qnd the conversation to getting the table was weird like I was asking some type of strange question wanting a table for 2 at a reasturaunt. Most awkward strange experience in any dining establishment ever

The enchiladas muchachas are superb! Can't talk on anything else there haven't tried another meal. My go to is an order of queso and the enchiladas..EVERYONE SHOULD TRY.

Ever had food at a jail turned into a restaurant? Well this is it! During our vacation in New England, we found this gem that had a unique dining experience. The food was delicious! They offer customization. They have lots of vegetarian options. Highly recommend this restaurant. Reservations required as it gets very crowded over the weekdays as well.

The food was excellent We are waiting at the table And she disappeared about 15 minutes then we have to go to the front desk and asked for order then another server helping out . That was nice people helping out each other.

This isn't the jail from the early 1990's. This is the jail from the 1890's. Whomever wrote that review is wrong about that, but the food is good.

Amazing food and excellent atmosphere. Our table was in its own room that was decorated like and old jail cell. I had the Mexican Flag Enchiladas that were just delicious. The Island Coconut Martini was like sipping into our own little paradise. 10/10 recommend

This place used to be great... I am very disappointed that does not seem to be the case anymore. The drinks came out watered down, the waitress was doing anything other than serving us, and the food was bland. The best part of the dinner was discovering the steak tasted like deer...I like deer.

Just stopped in for drinks and apps. Churros came with no ice cream because their freezer was broken and they didn't bother to mention it when we ordered. Food was very slow coming out. Drinks were great!

As tourists, we chose the Concord location because of the fun historic jailhouse setting/atmosphere. Our server, Janet, was exceptional. She was filling in on a Sunday at this location for another server. We appreciated her attentiveness, friendliness and overall customer service. Our party of 6 had the beef burrito, chimichangas, chicken fajita salad, and margaritas - all were delicious!

We had a wonderful experience dining with Janet last Sunday. The Kansas visitors of 6 left with a happy heart.

My boyfriend and I went out for a date night here tonight and had Dan L as our server he was AMAZING! It being Friday night you can imagine how busy it is but Dan didn’t forget 1 thing, he was quick but also didn’t make us feel rushed while ordering he was so nice and we will definitely be back soon!!! I have been going to Margaritas for over 20 years. Last night was such a disappointment: They placed us at a table that was in the back, in clear view of the cleaning equipment. They propped open a door and we had a cold breeze on us. There were plenty of other tables open… not sure why we were out here. Ir took 10 minutes to get a drink order in and after 45 minutes of waiting for food order I said something to our server. Then “some” of our dinner was brought out. The server was very sweet and kind. Not sure what the issue was here. We had to hurry up and eat our dinner to make our special event.

First, service here was awesome! Our server was attentive, personable and knowledgeable about the restaurant and some of its history. History? It's in an old jail and the cells make for a great private dining experience. The food was really good, from the fresh chips and salsa, all the way to a delicious enchilada plate. Their margaritas were really good too. I will definitely return again.

I was inquiring about Baja Tacos, and Curt, a new manager there, was very helpful. He greeted me with such warmth and understanding when he could tell i was getting frustrated. We need more people like Curt in the world :)

Doesn't get better than this for Mexican food in the area, and the service here is impeccable. Curt, one of the managers, made us feel so welcome and ensured we had a perfect experience from walking in the door to checking out. When was the last time you met the manager of a restaurant while just casually enjoying your meal?! Our server was excellent as well. 100% recommend this location!!

The food was amazing! I was able to order the Burrito Vegitariano and made it vegan eliminating the cheese & sour cream. Probably one of the best vegan burritos I've had in a long time. The guacamole appetizer with fire roasted corn was delicious! To top it off, the skinny jalepeno margarita was SO good! Very refreshing with the perfect amount of heat.

Nikki is a fantastic bartender. She was very knowledgeable and helped me navigate the menu and made some great recommendations. She was attentive, very fast with food and drinks and made the experience worthy of coming back again! Cheers!

It was a great service and atmosphere especially in the old jail cells. This is a restaurant that has history! Paranormal history as well. Drinks were good. Food was decent, but for a Mexican restaurant it lacked the necessary heat in the basic meal. Dessert was good too. Churros were excellent. Thanks very much for such fantastic service.

Although the portions were generous for the chicken tacos, the chicken was dry and overcooked. Chicken was also salty. They were served hot with plentiful toppings.

Great atmosphere and only (real) late night food and bar in Concord. Loved that they kept the jail cells as booth 'rooms'! Queso dip is very good, and margaritas flight was a good amount of alcohol.

This location has gone downhill! I ordered a chicken Quesadilla and it wasn't even grilled or cut!? Literally just thrown together!? The food wasnt good last time either but i thought it was a fluke!? We won't be ordering from this location again!

After strolling around historic downtown Concord for a couple hours on a Sunday afternoon/early evening, the hunger pangs were setting in. Fortunately we came across Margarita's Mexican restaurant, situated in the old police station, complete with the jail cell in the basement. It was warm enough that we asked to be seated on the outdoor patio facing Bicentennial Square, which was quiet. Service was decent (there were customers inside as well as on a second patio). The chips were warm, and the salsa tasty, not too spicy. Our food was pretty good. He enjoyed the Chicken Chimichanga. My Enchiladas Banderas hit the spot! Beers washed it down. All in all, it was a pretty good experience.

Excellent fajitas and margaritas and the only place in Concord that serves late-night food! The queso is also as good as any you will find in Texas. All in all, a surprisingly great little joint!

Awesome food and drinks. The server was extremely polite, but we had to ask for utensils and ask for condiments. There was nothing bad enough to make a scene over or even speak to the manager, though. It's probable that he just needs extra training or was just really busy.

If I could give a negative review I would!! Atmosphere is awesome because of the old jail! Who wouldn’t want to visit? However don’t get too comfortable or frequent this place often. Staff, management and even corporate does not care about customers! They will allow you to get harassed by their employees and even after being assaulted by one you won’t hear anything from management or corporate. They got each others back in there but don’t care about their customers who spend the money at their establishment. We don’t go there to make friends or for their drama, we just wanted to drink margaritas!

Food was excellent and service also :) Will definitely be back for the nachos and margaritas 🍹 Raspberry lime margarita was a bit sour/syrupy and dessert took longer than expected. But overall great place and I definitely recommend!!

the food is presented beautifully but it is very bland. as a latina, I always enjoy trying different hispanic food in the area, but Margaritas seems to not be up to level with the other Mexican restaurants in the area. Steak, enchiladas, no seasoning and very dry. Chicken, enchiladas, and burrito, chicken seemed to have been soaked in can tomato sauce. Now the beans and rice seemed to be canned. If you ever bought canned beans from the popular brand at Walmart , this is what it reminds me. That's not all - the rice drenched in tomato sauce and let's not forget the last enchilada... it is supposed to be salsa fresca- I did not know that was cubes of tomatoes only. Oh, AND ABOVE ALL, everything was cold. Spent 50$ on food that was below average and over hyped. Posted this on Doordash just to receive a noticed that it's being reviewed- if it doesn't post there... it is safe to say they won't post it on the app.

The taco salad was awesome! Service was top notch! Great drinks, very attentive, and worked nicely as a team. The music was a bit too loud - it couldn't been we were right under a speaker I thought of asking to adjust it but chose not to be THAT person in the moment but feel they may want to know?

Went with high expectations left in dispare food was horrible made me angry server was mad chill big ups to you service was out the wazoo also expensive and the lettecue on my taco was not good for tacos and tortilla was hard never will go again - angry custy

I had a wonderful early dinner with my dad here last Sunday. The waitress was wonderful, our drinks and food came out promptly, and everything was delicious for me. The air system is a little loud in the back hallway upstairs with the smaller tables, so we sat in a booth, which was cozy and quieter for great conversation.

Foods as good as the other Margaritas, but you come here specifically for the atmosphere, located in the old police station a lot of booths are in old jail cells. Service was great as well.

Great cost-benefit! It's a very interesting place to dine, located in a former prison, you can eat mexican food inside a prison cell. Cozy environment and the staff are very friendly, especially Colin!

My Friend and i visited Margaritas Saturday night , Food was ok Service was even better!! Nikki was our Bartender and we had the best experience ever ! She was very kind and was very accommodating with our allergy’s even though the place was extremely busy. She knew exactly what to do , Dan was an awesome Server as well! I am in the service industry and understand how hard their job can be.
