I did my first cooking class ever last night and had so much fun! I was a little apprehensive about going by myself but I’m so glad I did. Maricel and her staff were so kind and welcoming. Her cooking passion and knowledge was really evident. I took the Filipino class and can’t wait to try all the rest.

This class was fun and was able to go home and make empanadas on my own! Highly recommend these classes and I can’t wait to go to more!!

WOW!!!! Maricel and her staff are outstanding. Maricel makes learning to cook so much fun. Maricel is funny, warm and sooo friendly. She gave us great direction and her staff helped us along the way. I am looking forward to returning for another class soon. Highly recommend taking one of her classes. OH, and the food we made was AMAZING AND DELICIOUS.

This class was intimate and fun. Maricel and her staff made me feel comfortable in the kitchen and excited to make and eat something new. The food was delicious. All the recipes we used were shared; we were walked through each step by step with love and care. It was the best cooking class experience. And the location was clean, convenient and beautifully decorated.

I attended Maricel's Ramen and Korean dumpling class tonight. It was absolutely wonderful. A lot of delicious food, learning, a great staff. All the attendees were so nice to be with. 🩷🍜

Our Boy Scout Troop did a cooking class at Maricel's. Everyone there was so kind and patient, and the food was excellent and plentiful. Highly reccomended! We are already planning our return visit.

I had the most amazing time learning how to make empanadas 2 ways - baked and fried. Maricel is a great teacher and a chef extraordinnaire! I have taken Filipino, Korean cooking classes from her and looking forward to more classes with her. Her new place is East Brunswick is amazing. Place looks great for parties as well!

This was the best cooking class I’ve ever done- part because of the all other guests but primarily it was Maricel and her phenomenal staff! Maricel is personable, funny and an excellent cooking instructor. The food was out of this world!! The hands on experience was not to difficult and learning about the different quality ingredients she prefers was very helpful. Everyone should get a chance to experience an event at Maricel’s Kitchen!!

Had the best experience with Maricel in her kitchen learning Japanese soul food AND Korean hotpot! She is charismatic, engaging and incredibly knowledgeable, but more than that she makes the night fun and enjoyable. I highly recommend and look forward to my next class!

Maricel’s Kitchen was a wonderful way to experience Japanese cuisine by learning how to cook (and then eat) 4 unique dishes. The class participants cooked together at one long table while Maricel instructed from the head and her staff milled about the space to help where needed, creating a communal atmosphere reminiscent of a high school foods class. This gets 5/5 stars from me. Maricel and the staff are cool and kind under the pressure of instructing a dynamic class and made us feel welcome from the start. We will definitely be coming back in the future to learn a different cuisine.

I am so grateful for the evening I spent cooking and laughing with Maricel in her beautifully appointed space. She is an expert in amazing flavors, teaching a fun class and making her students feel welcome. This is a one-of-a-kind experience of making and eating delicious food!

I took the Japanese Ramen and Gyoza class and it was so much fun! I learned so many tips and tricks that I would've never thought about and while I'm not a frequent cook, the way things were simplified and made accessible definitely has encouraged me to try the gyoza recipe at home. I will be attending more classes in the future.

This was my first cooking class and I absolutely loved it! Maricel is so kind and knowledgeable, her passion for cooking really comes through. We did Thai 101 and are already trying to decide which class to do next. Highly recommend!

Great experience, friendly atmosphere, tasty recipes, plenty of food and a clean facility. My only negative comment was that the class was too crowded. For the space, 30 people was to many participants. Did hear that a normal class size is 10-15. Would have liked a more intimate atmosphere. I would definitely try another class if the participant ratio was 10-15.

Had a great time learning and cooking with my fiance. Everything was easy to understand, fun, and tasted delicious! I felt like there was a lot of value and I didn't have to go into the city for a fun cooking experience. We expect to be back and look forward to cooking here again!

I’m so glad i discovered Maricel’s kitchen. Her cooking is superb and the best in our area. I always order our food from her everytime we have events. I got worried when I found out she was moving to another location but thank God it was still nearby to our place. Thanks Maricel for always accommodating my orders. ❤️

I have taken quite a few cooking classes and am looking forward to taking more. Maricel is super sweet, smart and sassy and I feel blessed to have found this gem and her adorable place.

Maricel and her staff are making some really good food. You need to try the pork bao buns and the spring rolls. Everything else seems really good as well. Also she makes this white vinegar sauce for the spring rolls. Wow this stuff should be called white gold. Maricel will go above and beyond to make sure you always have a good experience when visiting her food truck. Her customer service is the best and is also very friendly as well. If you have not had the Panicot noodles you are missing out. These paired with the green Thai chicken green curry is so good. This is some of the best Thai chicken green curry I have ever had. Please check out her schedule and make sure to find her ASAP. She is worth traveling for as well and also does a great job with catering.
