Marinos is the best! This is the most consistent restaurant I have ever been to - i have been eating at Marino’s for years (starting at the location in Springfield), and every single meal has been amazing. The owner Mike is very nice, accommodating, and friendly. The atmosphere is great, service is great. The meals here feel like home cooked meals, best restaurant around!!!

Dined here this evening for dinner and food was absolutely delicious! Everything was so fresh and the bread they served with it was just so good! We had two different shrimp dishes and both were delicious and cooked perfectly. We also ordered chicken parmigiana and it was one of the best I’ve had around here. The owner was there and was so friendly, Such a pleasure to walk into a restaurant and have a conversation with the him! We will most definitely be back!

Don’t go here. Just plain disgusting. Two of the mussels we opened had parasites in them. We told the waiter and whoever he told, did nothing. Nobody other than our waiter ever came to our table to address it, and the owner was there. When we got the bill, the mussels were still on it. I asked if they could be removed, the waiter went to check, came back and said “no, [the parasites] are part of the dish”. We just laughed. Guess they really need the $14. Other than that, the chicken francese my son got smelled so bad he wouldn’t take one bite and the penne vodka was awful. BH didn’t need another Italian restaurant to begin with, especially one that’s so bad.

I recently dined at here with my family to celebrate my grandfather's birthday, and unfortunately, the experience left us feeling extremely disappointed. Despite the delightful traditional Italian cuisine, the appalling service we received from our waiter, Benny or Danny, didn't catch his name (see picture attached), ruined what should have been a memorable occasion. Upon arriving at the restaurant, we eagerly awaited assistance from Danny, only to be met with indifference. He seemed disinterested and purposely avoided our table, leaving us feeling neglected and unimportant. When he finally decided to grace us with his presence, his lackadaisical attitude became even more evident. Danny deliberately took an excessive amount of time to attend to our needs, making it abundantly clear that he had little regard for providing efficient service. The pinnacle of our dissatisfaction came when my grandmother, who was celebrating her husband's birthday amidst his cancer diagnosis, required assistance with her order. Despite our repeated requests for his attention, Danny blatantly ignored her, leaving her feeling neglected and disheartened. To make matters worse, he had evidently forgotten her order, demonstrating a complete lack of professionalism and basic memory skills. The level of rudeness displayed by Danny throughout the evening was truly disheartening. His behavior not only tarnished our experience but also reflected poorly on the establishment as a whole. It is a shame that such a special occasion for our family was overshadowed by the disrespectful and inconsiderate behavior of one individual. However, it is important to note that not all the staff at the restaurant were as disappointing as Danny. We were fortunate to have a kind and attentive lady assisting us, who continuously refilled our water and expressed her sincere apologies for Danny's behavior. Her efforts were commendable, but unfortunately, she was limited in her ability to rectify the situation. While the food itself was undeniably delicious and reflected the restaurant's commitment to traditional Italian cuisine, the abysmal service we encountered with Danny as our waiter cast a dark cloud over the entire experience. Considering the substantial amount we spent, over one thousand dollars, the lack of respect and professionalism from a member of the staff was simply unacceptable. Regrettably, due to our disappointing encounter with Danny and the negative impact it had on our family celebration, it is highly unlikely that we will be returning to this establishment in the future. It is my hope that the management takes this feedback seriously and addresses the issue to prevent other customers from enduring a similarly distressing experience. In conclusion, while the food at this Italian restaurant was commendable, the abhorrent behavior of our waiter, Danny, overshadowed the otherwise enjoyable meal. The occasion was meant to be a special one for our family, but it was marred by the unprofessionalism and rudeness exhibited by one member of the staff.

Love this restaurant! Nice atmosphere, good service, excellent food, pricing reasonable. BYOB puts it over the top. You have to call to book table; no online reservations.

I have had the blessing of knowing Mike for nearly 3 decades. He is a special person. From the time you walk in, the team makes you feel like family. The attention to detail and warmth you will experience is sorely lacking today. Treat your family to an amazing experience and you too will make new friends for life. Marino’s is a “old school” Italian seafood and pasta restaurant featuring excellent service in a relaxed, white tablecloth setting. BYO and owner managed delivers very fair menu pricing that will surprise. Excellent for family events or Saturday Nighters.

I’ve been here for both lunch and dinner on numerous occasions and every time the food is outstanding. The service is amazing Mike The owner makes you feel welcome every time you step in to his establishment. Benny the waiter Is super friendly and is on top of his game. One thing you have to remember make sure you leave room for dessert because they’re cannoli and strawberries are to die for.

Everything was very good. Clams oreganata were very good. The seafood combo is the best. The wait was a little long but well worth it. I see a lot of people complaining about the long wait. Chill out. A lot of places are short staffed these days! Everything is cooked from scratch. Relax. Have a glass or 2 of wine ( byob ) you want fast or you want delicious! 😜

So I went for lunch and soup and salad were incredible. So I returned for dinner only to find out they dont serve drinks and only offer soup at lunch time. Diner was decent but not as good as lunch.

Excellent food and service! Bonus it’s BYOB and reasonably priced :) We have patronized the owners previous location Marinos in Springfield, this is so much better for a dinner dinning experience. We will be back.

3 hours for 2 courses! There were six of us last night (Saturday) at this restaurant. We had a dinner reservation for 6:30 pm. Had it just been my honey and me, we would have canceled our order and left. We placed our appetizer order with the waitress at 6:50pm. The appetizers were placed on our table at 8:10 pm! The waitress explained that the computer had a problem and the kitchen never got the order. We ate through 4 baskets of bread and butter until the appetizers arrived. The food was really very good and well done, but having to wait all that time was not worth coming back. The owner came over to our table, but never apologized. He just made light of the incredibly long wait that we had. He should have “comped” one of the appetizers to show good customer relations. He did not and we will never go back there. Hopefully, for them, it was an off night.

What a nice lunch! Clams oreganato to start - excellent. They bake their own bread and it was worth the carbs. I had a broiled seafood platter and my husband had the baked cod over broccoli and canneloni beans. Both were large portions of hot, tasty food. Cappuccinos and a tiramiso for dessert completed our meal. Very, very good food in a pleasant, immaculate setting with attentive service. All together satisfying.

Bland, disappointing. Ordered the chicken francese received soggy white bread with a tasteless piece of chicken. Broccoli Rabe was soggy and completely lacking in flavor. Pork Braciole was dry with nondescript white bread. Completely disappointed.

I have been here twice and both times we waited an unreasonably long time for our food. We ordered an artichoke appetizer and lobster tails for dinner. The food was amazing. However, the second time we visited with another couple we waited a really really really long time to the point where we felt ignored. One appetizer never arrived to the table, no one ever came to check on us, and when our dinner finally came out it was cold and it was apparent it had been sitting under a heat lamp for a very long time. We then asked for a dessert menu which took so long to arrive we said forget it. Very very understaffed.

BYOB Nice Italian restaurant with tasteful decor and very good service. Food is excellent and priced reasonably with nice sized portions. I’ve only been here once but look forward to returning. Recommend fried calamari, lobster ravioli in vodka sauce and the seafood sampler entree. For desert try the berries and (cannoli) cream !!

Great food , pleasant atmosphere

Went to dinner with another couple the week they opened. The food was excellent as usual. Unfortunately they are short on staff so you need to be patient. The wait staff do the best they can in a professional and friendly manner. Well worth a visit.

Went opening week with a few other couples and we really enjoyed it. Have to be patient as they are currently short staffed but the food was great, staff was friendly, seafood fresh and delicious. Can’t wait to go back and try more dishes.

Whether getting a sandwich Togo or sitting down for a pasta or seafood dinner, marinos never disappoints. Recommend the chicken or pork milanese, chicken francaise, and linguine with clam sauce.

This place was great! Good food, nice people. I had the phily cheese steak which was huge lasted two meals. Wife had the calamari. If we're ever in the area again we would happily eat there again.

Had dinner at Marino's for the first time this week. The place was clean, great service and the broiled scallops I had for dinner were delicious. I can tell when seafood is fresh or not, and the seafood at this restaurant is absolutely fresh. The appetizer of the mozzarella/eggplant tower was also delicious! Friendly atmosphere, casual and highly recommend. I'm looking forward to going back this coming week!

Delicious and fresh seafood. I had the broiled haddock. My husband had the broiled combo, and my son had the broiled scallops. All delicious. Will definitely go back.

Marinos is a high quality seafood marketplace/Restaurant. I ordered a flounder filet sandwich with freshly cooked tender broccoli raab. Absolutely delicious. I recommend it 100!

The fish is the freshest,and the tastest any where. The takeout dinners are great.

Overall, a great family run place. They are basically a fish market with fresh fish for sale, and an eatery with lunch. They are particularly a good place for lunch, where you order at the counter, and they have a nice seating area. Lunch specials available. Everything is freshly made, and served on actual plates with real knives and forks. Friendly atmosphere. Owners on premises. Dinner available several nights a week (call them to find out which nights).

Lived in Springfield many years and I have now been more than happy that we have a decent fish dinner available so close to home. Perfect fish preparation is an art and what better restaurants can do it but a wonderful fish market like Marino’s!

This place is off Rt 22 and not easy to spot, but it's worthwhile to go. You select your food and can look over the offerings cafeteria style. The wait service brings the food to your table. Everything is very fresh and the staff are friendly.

I went here for lunch with my family, I got a custom sandwich which was really good, the bread, chicken and pesto sauce we're great tasting and the broccoli rabe was nice and tendor. Prices are reasonable and the staff is very friendly, would recommend if you're in the area

Marinos is your dependable to go to neighborhood store. The fish is very fresh and the Italian specialties are always homemade and delicious. You can even sit at a table and have lunch or dinner.

Good food. Regular older crowd. I found to be expensive for what they give you and they run out of fish at some times which is crazy for a fish restaurant.
