We dined here years ago and always wanted to return. The kids enjoyed all the food and we had the best customer service! Thank you for giving them a wonderful experience!

Such a great experience! The staff was also incredibly warm and welcoming and answered our many questions about their menu. There was also a bellydancer that engaged all customers (without making anyone uncomfortable if they didn't want the attention) which was super fun. Would love to go back and try other items on their menu!

We absolutely loved our meal here! The services, food, and atmosphere was a 10/10. Our server recommended the spicy lamb and the chicken, lemon, and olives entree. Both entrees were delicious. I can’t wait to return with a group next time.

We had never tried Moroccan cuisine and this was our first time. Although this place is quite famous in Seattle, we find it average when it comes to food. They serve a five course meal which is too much for an individual. They don't serve Baklava as stated in the menu. The staff is humble and great in service. The restaurant needs good maintenance too. Overall it is a good place to try once.

Wow! It has been WAY to long! Everything was absolutely amazing! Every bite if Everything we had we were both humming with happiness. So much flavor, so fresh, so delicious. Service was very attentive as well. This dinner was not just a wonderful dinner, but an experience as well. We will not wait as long to come back. Thank you!

The food and experience were top notch. Started the meal with a hand wash. We came in late -tired after a long day of travel. The service was awesome. We enjoyed all the courses. Highly recommend the spicy lamb. The milk pudding was delicious. Suggest setting aside time to enjoy the courses… we were too tired and rushed the experience. Would definitely return. Fun ambiance, good service, ample and tasty food--with some food I had never tried before. Generous pours of wine. I also appreciated that the acoustics were good so it was easy to talk and hear each other. Looking forward to going back.

Wonderful dining experience. As soon as you go in, you feel like you’re transported straight to Morocco. I was served by Aziz, who is an immigrant from Morocco. He made me feel right at home. While I grew up outside Morocco, both my parents are Moroccan, and the food experience was authentic and true to the source. The spices were balanced perfectly, just as I remember. The menu offers a great variety of traditional Moroccan dishes to pick from, and everything we ordered worked for us. I had a chance to chat with Aziz, and learned about his efforts to support Moroccan Jewish and Arab coexistence. Unfortunately, not everyone appreciates this, and he faces some negativity because of it. But he’s got my support, and I think he deserves yours too.

The food, ambiance and service are always top notch. I have been here many times for both larger parties or quaint dates and it's always fun atmosphere especially with the music and the ornate furniture and the most excellent service.

DONT go if you have small appetite. It is a SCAM. Open Secret: 1. Mandatory 1 large platter per person. No sharing allowed. 2. 20% gratuity on a table of 4 & 4+. I mean WoW!! 😲 We were 5 people planning to have 3 platters and 2 desserts. But we were denied ordering only 3 and was shown door outside. The most ridiculous policy, I ever had seen. The owner was rude as hell. No belly dance even in the Saturday evening. Another marketing SCAM!! They take reservations and market that they are very busy. We had 8 pm reservation and saw only 2 tables occupied in a Saturday evening. Also. At 8:15 pm when the order was being taken, the manager said only one time order as the kitchen will be closed. And the official closing time is 10 pm! We didn't have the opportunity to taste the food and don't want to go back there. You can check other legit reviews and gauge the food quality vs price which is almost 25$ per plate on avg. Good Luck on your experience 🤞

For about 20 years me, my family and friends always love to go MARRAKESH Restaurant in Seattle for different occasions. This is our best restaurant in town. It doesn’t matter what other few diners say, this is our best place to go to. We dined at other Moroccan restaurant in the past years in Seattle and they claimed they are the best. They are no longer in business and MARRAKESH still number one. We recommend MARRAKESH Restaurant because of its ambience, cuisine, friendly service and atmosphere.

I recommend everyone visiting Seattle Try this restaurant at least once! We are definitely coming back, the service was hospitable, we were served a very reasonably priced five course dinner by Seattle standards. The dishes we ate had variety, flavor, and unique spices! The bread and salad appetizer alone is Unforgettable. The service was warm and hospitable. & there was live belly dancing entertainment!

Ambiance and service was a 10/10, the place is beautiful and the owner is very kind. However, the quality of the food was quite disappointing compared to other Moroccan cuisines, especially given the prices.

Let me just say, I’ve had better restaurant experience and service. The host had an unfriendly vibe and felt the need to keep reminding us that each of us needed to order an entree. The food was pretty bland, flavorless and definitely not worth the price. There are better restaurants with Moroccan food. There was a belly dancing show and we definitely enjoyed that. This was the highlight of our experience. Mostly won’t be going back.

Marrakesh delivers in every way. Hospitable, delicious, beautiful and able to comfortably host large and small parties while fostering conversation and community.

The host mislead us by suggesting wrong items and had added Additional tip from their side after we left. The food was also not good. Wastage of time and money. Will not recommend anyone

The host misled us by suggesting the size of the meal as too small. So we ended up ordering big portions. The vegetarian dish that we ordered was not good. We left the bill without leaving a tip because the service was too slow. But later on checking we found that an additional charge had been added to our credit card. As I correctly remember our bill was $68. But we were charged $80 to our credit card. Please avoid this restaurant.

It’s I’m motivated to make a great review these days but I wanted to make a special shoutout to Marrakesh. The cous cous Marakkesh is utterly delicious. I don’t generally like vegetables but this dish is everything.

I still think about the experience my wife and I had here when we visited Seattle. I can't wait to come back next time I visit the city!

The service was the best we’ve ever had ANYWHERE! The food was delicious and plentiful. We left with happy stomachs! The vegetarian dish (Brekka) was amazing.

Meals came with fresh bread, eggplant salad, lentil soup and sweet pastry meat appetizer and milk pudding dessert. Ordered spicy lamb and vegetarian dish loved both of them and service was wonderful.

Among all the restaurants here in seattle, this one’s cost performance and food quality is top notch. Both the salad and the pie that come with entrée are appetizing; the aroma of salad sauce is very refreshing.

Absolutely negative: The dining experience was a complete waste of money. We ended up with empty stomachs after paying $42.67 for a portion that wouldn’t even satisfy a 4-year-old child. 😔

We ordered a la carte. Regardless, Tagine chicken was not served with couscous or potatoes and not in a tagine pot-mediocre at best. Baklava was old and rancid with a hard bottom. Belly dancer never showed up. When we stood up to leave, my feet were met with a rollover carpet cleaner. Spare yourself the disappointment. Just don’t go.

Beautiful astonishing service and amazing food love the decorations

I felt like in Morocoo. For $30++/person you will get 6 dish. Salad, Lentil Soup, B'stilla Royale, Main Dish, Rice Pudding & Mint Tea. The lamb was so good. It doesn't taste too lamb-y. So don't worry if you are not lamb person, it'll turn out good. Definitely will come back.

I was here in 1986, and it was a truly amazing experience. Each dish had a different flavor, and all were delicious!!! April, 2024's meal was a disappointment. I got the lamb wth eggplant. It had no flavor, herbs, or taste whatsoever. It was like lamb pot roast with a tasteless eggplant slice to top it off. My friends had the chicken with lemon and olives, which was watery and flavorless. The ground chicken pastry was delicious!!! As was the mint tea!!! But everything else seemed over cooked and bland. Ambiance was excellent as was our waiter.

Having visited Morocco, I can say that food @ Marrakesh is outstanding, plus there is an unsurpassed Moroccan ambiance. There is even a belly dancer on Fridays and Saturdays. The only thing missing are the camels and the desert.

The ambiance was spot on. The service was very polite but also very slow and impersonal, as if they were understaffed. That's the only positive thing I have to say about the restaurant. They stack the tables so that you are shoulder to shoulder with your neighbors. And the food was shockingly incredibly bland as if they literally used no spices or seasonings or even salt for that matter. It's a very themed sort of theatrical kind of service but the food is so terrible. Please please please don't waste your money.

Outside appearance of restaurant is misleadingly non-impressive. They graciously made room for us in spite of our failure to have reservations (we had no idea what we were walking into). Not only was the food delicious, but it was a full dining experience, like walking into another country; 5 course meal was kindly explained and served one course at a time, allowing for lingering conversations. Servers were warmly hospitable. This was an experience definitely worth the money!

We had a group dinner at Marrakesh and it was amazing! Abraham was super friendly and very accommodating, from the reservation to the entire dinner service. We ordered the Mechoui (roasted lamb) that requires at least 8 people to share and 3 days prior notice. Let me tell you, it was totally worth it. So flavorful and tender. Everyone was so full and packed the leftovers home. We also had a few different allergies and he took notes of them all! Highly recommend and would definitely be back again!

The utter tenderness of the exquisitely spiced lamb was only matched by the cozy surroundings and fabulous hospitality of the owner. Flavor alone would be enough to recommend this meal; but this was such a wonderful experience to have with friends, a charming communion to share with other people. Exquisite. Superb. Wonderful. And, I have to underscore it, *the lamb*. To share a meal here is to share a favorite memory with your friends.

Chicken for the Couscous is Cooked with lamb you can taste it Gamy, The chicken Tajine was very watery the sauce was bland. I enjoyed the soup that’s about it, I ate from this place a while ago and the food was great, I’m not sure what happened but I know it’s alarming when your food is ready in less than 10 minutes. I wouldn’t recommend it.

Upon arrival, we decided to select the reserved menu set, which is akin to the Japanese omakase style, where the chef selects the dishes. In addition to this set, we ordered two extra entries to ensure a variety of tastes. The ambiance of the restaurant was immediately noticeable – a blend of sophistication and comfort that promised a delightful dining experience. As the courses began to arrive, we were impressed by the presentation and the quality of the food. Each dish was a testament to the chef's skill and attention to detail, offering a harmony of flavors that tantalized our taste buds. However, as the meal progressed, we began to notice a concerning aspect regarding the portion sizes. For a group as large as ours, the quantities seemed disproportionately small. This was particularly noticeable given that the cost was uniform per person. The realization that we were paying the same amount but seemingly receiving less food in comparison to smaller groups felt unjust. This discrepancy in portion size and cost detracted from the overall enjoyment of our meal. To compound matters, the bill presented at the end of the meal included a mandatory 20% gratuity. While we understand and respect the concept of tipping for good service, the compulsory nature of this substantial addition to our bill was an unwelcome surprise. It added to our feeling that the dining experience, though culinarily satisfying, was not entirely equitable in terms of value.

We had 2 main plates and we paid $50. Food was not that good. I had chicken but texture was like over cooked. My husband had grilled lamb and chicken. It was Better than mine.

I was so excited to come here for the belly dancing but there wasn’t any, which was a huge disappointment. I couldn’t find any information anywhere about when they perform. The seats are very low to the ground so probably not a good place to wear a suit. It was very quiet when we went in and the atmosphere is incredible. It really is a whole new dining experience that I’m glad I could have. Our waitress was nice and attentive. Each entree comes with soup, a salad, bread, dessert, and tea which are all served in courses. It was a really great value for what you’re getting. I wasn’t crazy about the food but it’s because I’m a very picky eater, so don’t let that discourage you. The quality was great but the flavor profiles just didn’t appeal to me. I definitely recommend trying this place at least once.

This place is one of my favorite hidden gems in Seattle! The food is amazing, and you essentially get a five course meal for the price of a single reasonably priced entree. The atmosphere is relaxing and warm, the service is top notch. I couldn't possibly recommend it more. This isnt just a place to eat dinner, it's a full on cultural and culinary experience.

This is an authentic, family-owned Moroccan restaurant with excellent customer service. They begin by graciously washing your hands, and the food delights your palate with rich flavors in every dish. Chicken kebabs are very juicy and tasty. I loved their spicy Tagine of Lamb

Absolutely fantastic dining experience to sit inside this welcoming, vibrant atmosphere and enjoy "The Royal Feast"! We visited on Saturday night and enjoyed belly dancing, a superb 5 course meal and truly personal service from Aziz. We would recommend in a heartbeat!

Not recommended for vegans. The host and server, both gentlemen, were very personable and friendly. The belly dancer was also very sweet and friendly. When we were about to order, the server informed us that it was going to be a 5-course meal (which sounded great!). However, they made it sound like there was no option to order individual items. The problem with the 5-course meal was that there was no appetizer due to the lack of vegan options, and there was no dessert for the same reason. We ended up sharing one salad between us, while the person sitting next to us received the same-sized portion just for himself. The main course was very dry and disappointing, consisting of vegetables over basmati rice. I was still hungry after this supposed "5-course" meal and ended up stopping at El Borracho at Pike Place. They charged us $77, the same as others who got full meals. Overall, it was a disappointing experience.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this Moroccan restaurant. I am in Seattle visiting a friend and she recommended this restaurant, and I am glad we went. The ambiance was warm and inviting, with beautiful Moroccan decor. The host/ waiter was incredibly welcoming, making us feel right at home. He took inconsideration that I was vegetarian. I can't recommend this restaurant enough. Whether you're a fan of Moroccan cuisine or looking to try something new, this place will take you on a culinary journey you won't forget. I can't wait to return and explore more of their menu.

got the chicken couscous and the chicken was really tender and nice but really unseasoned. Not a fan of unseasoned chicken.

I drove all the way from Vancouver to Seattle to have dinner in Marrakesh restaurant and I was very disappointed. The food is so bad if you really know Moroccan cuisine. I had couscous and chicken tagine. Couscous taste so bad and the presentation has nothing to do with Moroccan traditional couscous. Chicken Tagine with sweet prune , the sauce looks like gravy and taste so bad, the prunes were just boiled. Bastilla does not have almond and does not have any flavor of real moroccan bastilla. I doubt this restaurant has moroccan chef. anyway it was bad experience. It is shame to call it moroccan food.

This place has a wonderful atmosphere, friendly staff, and delicious food. There is even a belly dancer who really knows how to move her body. I highly recommend coming here.

The food doesn’t represent the rich Moroccan cuisine. The harrira soup and couscous are announced by UNESCO as world cultural heritage. Unfortunately, every dish (salads, couscous, bastilla, harrira, preserved lemon chicken are far from the minimum original Moroccan flavor. I advise that the owner rethink about the way he represents the Moroccan authentic flavor, because the experience can only be described by misleading and misrepresenting.

The food here was absolutely amazing. There is a basic menu of soup, salad, bread, and dessert, and then you order your choice of entree, we had three different ones and they were all incredible.

The décor is attractive, and you sit on low sofas and eat from low tables. Personally not a fan of belly dancers, which you definitely would not have in a nice family restaurant in Morocco, but that doesn’t particularly bother us because we realize that restaurants must try to give customers what they want. We were primarily interested in the food, which I guess is "tailored" to fit American palates? Alas, unfortunately, the lamb couscous was quite mediocre. It was served with the stew already on top of the couscous instead of in a separate serving bowl, so we could not choose the ratio of liquid to solid, which is what one should be able to do. The hot sauce was uninspired. The mint tea didn’t even have one fresh mint leaf in it, which is what one should get in any North African eatery. The server was nice, but unfortunately was sniffling very frequently. The boss should have asked him to stay home that night rather than subject a roomful of diners to possible illness, especially in a completely windowless room. Note: It’s windowless because of the décor.
