Mars Halal Meat has been my go to halal meat shop in central NJ since it opened several years ago. The store is always clean and doesn’t smell like a butcher shop as many others do. The meat and poultry is fresh, well cleaned, and packaged nicely to avoid spills/leaks. The store also has a great variety of other products, foods, and spices including locally produced sweets like baklava, and the staff is truly so helpful and responsive. Highly recommend them as one of the best halal meat shops in the area!

They have the best halal meat and chicken in the area. You have to call them and place your order in advance.

I stopped by today with my family for the first time to try it. They don’t have meat display. The guy up front takes the order and the guys in the back makes it I guess. You don’t see the meat!! I am not saying the meat is not good because I didn’t buy anything. BUT how you buy meat without seeing it in display or at least seeing it … I walked out didn’t buy anything … not sure if that’s their norm or not. Responding to owner reply Shoppers read the negative reviews before you step in there and you will see yourself. The others ones seems FAKE So you are saying your 4300 customer you serving buy your meat over the phone without looking at it… they must be restaurants/ businesses can’t not be regular public. I been buying meat for a long time never seen that type of service … also covid precautions been lifted and people can shop regularly with no concerns so the covid claim doesn’t work. Also I buy organic meat from another butcher and certainly I can see what I am buying before I buy it and it is organic halal handslaughter . Sorry but my review is staying based on my experience. It has nothing about being a Muslim if I see something wrong I say it. Our Islam tells us that. Your business approach might work for some people and might not work for other and as owner you need to accept that. FYI you photos on google has one with a meat display. So …. Salam aliykom

Having been using Mars Halal for over a year now. Their meat is exceptional, the store is so clean and they clean their meat meat very well too. The service has been very good as well. I don’t buy my meat anywhere else. The quality is well worth the price.

This halal location is arguably the best halal meat shop in the Tri-state area. I have been coming here for the last 2 years. In those 2 years I haven’t gone any where else for halal meat. The customer service is superb. The meat is always up to its standards. Shop’s cleanliness speaks for itself, no smell or odor in the shop. The greatest aspect is that the meat is fresh, clean, and tasty.

I stopped by Mars Halal Market today for the first time based on the huge review they have on Google Map. I was really disappointed, the have nothing on display and the nice guy at the register told me that I have to preorder to have the organic chicken, I did want chicken and I show him the picture on there website, and he told me that everything on the website is not there including prices. This is waist of time but not money as I did not buy anything.
