Love that they have a nice selection of flavors for the mate and the the snacks are great too...the Cafe has a homey feeling too it its atmosphere is to get some work done there is calming and productive

I recently checked out Mate Conmigo, and it was fantastic! This café is a gem for Mate tea lovers, with a cozy vibe and an impressive range of teas. Gaby, who helped me, was amazing—super knowledgeable and enthusiastic about Mate. She gave great recommendations that really made my visit special. If you’re into Mate tea, you’ve got to try Mate Conmigo!

Update: August 2024 Life's too short for mediocre empanadas. I can’t leave without my go-to Beef Empanadas and Gaby’s Coffee!! So dynamic!! Flavors are well balanced. Taste the pride of their heritage in each and every bite! The coffee isn’t overly sweet! I love the ambiance and Gaby is the sweetest!! ************************* ✨ Argentinian HIDDEN GEM in the San Fernando Valley ✨ Loving the vibes!! The decor is charming and cozy!! This is just the place to grab authentic Argentinian flavored Yerba Mate, coffee, a couple of empanadas and some pastries!! Don’t miss out and try their coffees too, like Gaby’s Coffee! They have the most friendly customer service!! This is definitely a place with regulars and Gaby is the heart of this place!! I absolutely LOVE this place!!

This place is amazing! The owner is so sweet, the empanadas and pastries are delicious, and the mate is super refreshing! It's super cute inside and there's little things to buy too! Love this spot!

The owner is super nice, the iced and hot yerba mate drinks are delicious! You can add fruit purées to the iced versions and they are very refreshing and not overly sweet. They also serve food which is all very fresh and delish. There are different types of empanadas, sandwiches, and pastries to choose from. They also have espresso drinks but my husband and I are addicted to the mate! This place is a gem, definitely give it a visit.

The drinks and food here are delicious! I love the yerba mate with fruit, and it's a good price for a large portion. The empanadas and sweet bread are great as well. The customer service here is unparalleled, the folks here are kind and friendly.

Gaby is the best!! She’s very kind and serving to all customers, the usuals and new. The mate is absolutely amazing, in all ways she has them made. Would definitely recommend stopping to try!

This is the best coffee shop to stop by either to work or just have a coffee or mate with friends and family, Gaby is absolutely amazing always makes you feel welcome the mango mate is to die for is so delicious and the Gaby’s iced coffee is my go to for summer !!!! You won’t regret stop by here totally recommend this is my weekend spot with my family 🤍

Everything about this place was great. The owner is so warm, friendly and welcoming. She explained through everything and the different flavour options of mate. The food was also incredibly flavourful and there are plenty of options to choose from. Highly recommend!

I stumbled upon this gem of a coffee shop and was greeted by the warmest welcome from the owner, a lovely Argentinian lady. It's no surprise this place has only 5-star reviews on Google Maps; the atmosphere is cozy, the service is exceptional, and the traditional tea I ordered was absolutely delightful. It's clear why everyone loves this place—I'll definitely be coming back!

There’s a reason why this place is rated five stars and there is a reason why it survived through the pandemic. This place I stopped by to grab a latte before heading to school and I got also two beef empanadas with that for under $10. This is why I am extremely satisfied, and when I first walked in this place, she was asking if I wanted to try the Mate, I’ll definitely be back to have some again so I could really feel the energy. Those empanadas were to die for and I didn’t know I was craving it until I first tried it. Give the place a try!

What a neighborhood gem! The owner is sweet it made it even better. She explained the Yerba mate process and some recommendations. Loved the mango and maracuya (passion fruit combo). classic green tea has long been touted as the best detox beverage and matcha has been gaining traction in recent years among top trending drinks, yerba mate deserves a The Yerba mate has an even higher polyphenol content than regular green tea, and the list of benefits don't end there including morning energy, reducing inflammation, helps with detox, protects your heart. Drink was refreshing and tasted delicious. Empanadas are so tasty get the arabe or the ham and cheese if you are not adventurous. Served hot and was so good. The ambience was very chill and relaxing. They have a few tables and even a couch area for a more relaxed setting. Definitely adding this to the rotation.

I love grabbing a tea at mate conmigo, it feels like I’m abroad and is such a refreshing change of pace. The owner is so kind and will offer tea to try if it’s your first time! charming place and really delicious teas/pastries. I recommend trying the Arabe empanada and the iced mate with passionfruit!! I've been going to this place for years! Gabriela's super cool and friendly, and she doesn't hesitate to make you try new stuffs! The food is just off the hook, grab a couple of empanadas and some pastries for some sweet treats. Add a traditional mate to feel like a true Argentinian!

I've been here 10+ times and they are always so friendly. They've done a great job cultivating a community around their shop. Food is great at very reasonable prices and the mate is always nice.

Amazing people, authentic food and drinks, lovely atmosphere, and a dedicated family owned business! My first time visit and my first time trying Yerba Mate!!! I immediately felt the welcoming and friendly vibes when I walked in, the culture here is super comforting! The empanadas are delicious and Yerba Mate is now one of my favorite drinks! I definitely will be back!

I love this place. They serve authentic Argentinian food, pastries, and Mate drinks. I lived with Argentinians for some time and learned to drink traditional Mate- this place has all you need to have both iced and traditional mate! I sent photos to my friends in Argentina and they all said the food is exactly when they have in their cafes. I can’t wait to go back. The owner and staff are fun and very helpful.

What a cute little homey cafe with the sweetest people ever 😭😭😭 I am sad that it’s so far from me otherwise I would legit go here 4 x week at the very least. Since I’m strictly vegetarian, the vegan empanadas, beverages, some desserts/sweets/candy work well for me. I loved my coffee and empanadas (potato and zucchini). They have wifi, a restroom and great operational hours so I plan on coming to work whenever the traffic is reasonable for me to get there. The family who run the cafe are some of the nicest people I’ve come across and I’m so grateful to have found this spot! Can’t wait to be back :)

Really excellent Yerba Mate drinks. I had an iced mate with peach and strawberry and it was very refreshing! The empinadas had great buttery crust with the quina pumpkin filling that hit the spot! Atmosphere was cute but could use a little improvement.

Absolute gem of a place!! Wish I knew about it sooner. Gabi (owner) is so cool and helpful if you're new to mate, and just super friendly, reminds me of my own family. Also, so many great food options especially if you have dietary restrictions like if you're vegan/vegetarian. I'm veggie and was so pleased with the options there. The potato and cauliflower empanadas and the spinach ones are my current faves! The ambience is great too, huge comfy couch just as you walk in, vibey music, etc. Truly, you are doing yourself a favor by trying out this place.

I wish I would of gotten some photos of the food/ drinks but ordered some for delivery and OMG they were soooooo good!!! It was so fresh and the drinks are delicious!! I definitely will be visiting and ordering from here again!

Wow ! This is so difficult to describe. Gabriela ( the owner) made a mate cosido with a hint of vanilla. It was delicious. We also had facturas ( Argentine pastries ) and some warm empanadas. Everything was so good. The place is just right for a quick bite and a good cup of coffee. I highly recommend this establishment to anyone that is looking to try something different.

Mate Conmigo was on my booked marked list for awhile and I was finally able to check it out! I love the adorable decor inside and they have couches and tables to enjoy all the delicious goodies. I met Ruby and she offered me a sample of some of their teas. I decided to go with a Peach Mate and it was delicious. I could not leave without trying one of their delicious empanadas. I ordered the spinach and cheese and I should have ordered more because it was one of the best empanadas I have ever had. I received a lunch card as well. If you get 9 drinks, your 10th one is free. Now that I’ve been here once, I can’t wait to come back.

Im a regular here. It’s a nice, cozy spot with quality drinks. I love their vanilla mate latte. Their ice teas are delicious. I had a mango/guava/passion fruit iced tea blend. So refreshing! Make sure to get a stamp card too!

They specialize in yerba mate & empanadas & delightful conversations. If it's your first time, they offer to explain all your options on the menu so you don't feel overwhelmed. There are plenty of options of flavors, hot or cold. They are always checking up on you that you are enjoying your food & even offering to top up your cup. You feel very welcomed inside. Perfect for studying & getting caffeinated. There is ample parking in front. Single bathroom inside.

I arrived here by total chance. very glad for the happy coincidence. Could not have had a better experience. Exceptional customer service. The owner is passionate about the product and service the positive energy/vibes are palpable. She is charming and charismatic. The mate was crisp and fresh with just the right level of potency. The real fruit infusion is a definite must try. Grab a dozen empanadas whole you are there. Huge assortment/variety. Try the quinoa pumpkin. You will be pleasantly surprised :)

Found this little gem, the service, Yerba mate tea and empanadas are outstandingly delicious and amazing. It was my second time trying Yerba mate tea and the lady who help me was so sweet and knowledgeable. I definitely recommend to try the vegan pumpkin quinoa empanadas and iced Yerba mate with fruit.

I can’t stress enough how much I enjoyed Mate Conmigo! I traveled all the way from Kansas and do not regret it one bit. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming! The food and drink is absolutely delicious. I 110% recommend Mate Conmigo to anyone who is looking for good Yerba Mate, either as an experienced drinker or as someone who would love to try it for the first time! Even if you’re looking for a good place to sit down and drink coffee… this is the place! I will definitely be visiting again!
