We had the Honey Crust Bzer. It was a great, fresh pizza. The crust was amazing with honey butter that comes with it. The atmosphere was fun and owner was engaging. Located on the edge of MSU campus.

It's been since 2016 I've had a chance to get pizza from here. As then as it is now Matt's Pizza slices are delicious. The cheese sticks and marinara are yummy!

First time visiting Matt B's and I ordered a couple of different slices to try. Wow! Really, really good pizza. I will be returning for a whole pie to share with my family very soon. We live about 45 minutes away, but this kind of pizza is worth a little drive. Outstanding!

Love the pizza but on multiple different occasions I have called to place and order and the phone does nothing but ring. I'm talking I call 7-8 times and no answer. On multiple occasions!! Who ever runs this place needs to have a staff meeting and figure out why employees can't answer the phone.

I love this place and the food is the best ever. The very best Pizza and Calzones in the United States. I have tried many Calzones at other restaurants and none compare to Matt B's. I even had a Calzone at an Italian restaurant and it was horrible. They put the red sauce all over it and it is just down right wet. I am sad they are closed on Mondays. Call me selfish. I would choose Calzone on the list down below but it is not on the list.

The food was awesome. Service was really good. You can either order a whole pizza or you can get it by the slice you can get a small salad or a large salad breadsticks or cheese sticks. We try them both and they were very good. We will eat there again.

The lady at front counter was nice. But the women who gave me my food was very rude. Second time in a week iv been there and she couldn't even say thanks.or smile. She seemed mad because I didn't want my food reheated. Very disrespectful. Don't take alot to be nice.

Matt B's has delicious pizza. You can order single slices and cheese sticks. Portions are huge! I'd definitely recommend it.

Great food, unfortunately staff changes and not all workers are as customer friendly, but the owner, hands down will have you in great hands when he's around.

Would have given 5 stars for service as most of the staff is very friendly and efficient, but the last time we were there the girl was very rude. She tried to give us one slice that looked like it had been sitting there for days, and wasn't even what we ordered. We asked her to replace it with a fresher slice with the correct toppings, which she did with a great deal of attitude. When it was ready, she came over and threw it on the table and walked away without a word. Despite the one small incident, this is still my favorite pizza place anywhere I've ever been, and I've lived in 5 different states and traveled through many more. None of them are quite as good as Matt B's

No fancy online ordering here. Just call and order from the best pizza restaurant in town. I ordered a large meat house pizza, they define it as lots of meat and lots of cheese. And they are correct! There’s more meat on one slice than the other pizza shops in town have on the whole pie! And cheese, when the cheese is dripping over the sides of the slice as you eat it, and meat falling off, it reminds me why I consider a Matt Bs pizza when I want to be satisfied. I like both the regular crust ant the honey crust but prefer the sweetness of the honey crust with the all meat pizza. You can dine in or pick up and take it to the lake to enjoy. Over all a quality pizza for a great value. I recommend this restaurant.

Update: I just got back from NYC, and I put Matt B's up there with any pizza I had there. I am praying if Matt sells this place he makes the buyers sign a contract not to change anything because I do not want to lose this gem of a pizza place. Hands down my favorite pizza in USA. Don't forget to try the dessert pizza. It's off the chart. Cheese bread great compliment. Prices unbeatable. Thanks to Matt for a cool place to eat.

We went around lunch. It was awesome the food an the service were impeccable. I'll go so far as to say I'll drive 45 minutes from where I live to here for a slice of there 🍕. An I mean that!

When we come to Murray to visit family this one of our favorite places to get food. Everything we have had is really good. The honey crust with the honey butter is something we’ve never seen anywhere else, it’s a must have for sure.

We’ll, we’ve been here several times since being disappointed several times and we’re happy to report it’s greatness has returned. We think Matt must have been having extended effects from supply chain issues and people help. The quality of the food with good ingredients and consistent cooking is again a joy to eat!

The food is delicious and the portions are HUGE and affordable, definitely worth the price in size. Service is great, especially, when Matt B is there. I wasn’t a big fan my first time there, 2 years ago. But after my second time eating there, I’m addicted and can’t get enough of Matt B’s! We’ve been eating there at minimum once a month, for 2 years. I swear they put something in the cheese! It’s the best pizzeria I’ve ever been to, and one of the best restaurants in Murray, in my opinion. I didn’t think to write a review in 2 years, and the last time I was there, they gave me and my boyfriend a extra pizza and cheese stick because they were too small to sell. Amazing! And I thought, “I’m gonna write a review, they deserve it.” The young adults there too are doing an amazing job and really hard working and give off such a warm welcome! Keep up the good work!

Great delicious food but the interior of the lobby in the restaurant needs cleaned....from the floors to the walls.

It absolutely pains us to write this review because Matt is such a great, kind hearted guy but, we have practically quit coming here now when we used to crave it 1-2 times per week. The pizza, breadsticks, cheese sticks, etc. just taste plain and are no longer consistent in their ingredients and how they make and cook them. I won’t say anymore except we have pretty much taken it off our places to eat with only an occasional test visit from time to time.

My wife and I have been coming here for years and Matt and his college staff always take care of us. The pizza is awesome, the price is extremely fair, and Matt is very very personable. We dread the day this place should ever go out of business.

Matt B's was recommended on Trip Advisor as one of the top places to eat in Murray, Kentucky and it didn't disappoint. We ordered the 12 inch meat pizza and it was piled high. Absolutely delicious!! The pizza was good but not great. The place had a dirty feel to it, and was very cramped. While eating, the people in line were literally bumping into the backs of our chairs.

If you prefer hand tossed crust, real veggies, and rich sauce , visit Matt B’s pizza adjacent to the Murray State campus. Other “flavors” of pizza like sausage, pepperoni, and combos are excellent. If you only want a slice, that is easy, too.

I don't know of any other pizza place that has a double stuffed pizza like Matt B's. One slice is all you need and it is a slice of heaven. Fantastic pizza at a price you can't pass up.
