I’ve driven by a thousand times and never thought much to stop by an olive oil store. But boy oh boy this is so much more! They have the greatest selection of incredible Italian pastas, wines, more and yes olive oil but they also have events! They offered a pasta making Italian dinner and it’s was simply one of the most fantastic nights ever. We are seated at a family communal table, the Taliara (and I’m never calling it charcuterie ever again!) was overflowing with delicious bites. They served homemade pasta w meat ragu/ sauce. Then they dimmed the lights while we ate and sang Italian songs where we joined in. I felt like I was sitting under the lemon trees in Italy under the glistening stars. This is truly a gem here in Sarasota. I’m thankful they are here. It was such a wonderful evening! I left with olive oils, wine, and chocolate hazelnut spread. And a very full heart. You come in as a customer. But you leave as family. ❤️

For years, I've shopped at Mazzone's store and at the Sarasota Farmer's Market and I have always enjoyed the products, the knowledge of the staff, and the quality of the products. The owners, Mike and Cinzia, are some of the truest and most genuine people I've ever met! However, last night was the first time I've ever taken one of their classes; the Limoncello making class. We had a group of 20 and it was an absolute blast! They set out all kinds of Italians meats, cheeses, some side dishes like cucumber and tomato salad, bruschetta, dates wrapped with bacon, frittata, and the most wonderful wine I've ever tasted. After we snacked, sipped, and learned about their goods imported from Puglia, Italy, we all got to participate in the limoncello making. It was fun to learn how to make this iconic after dinner "digestif". I highly recommend this class for a group activity or team building. My only regret is that I don't have more photos to post!

Enjoyed a beautiful evening event with some classic flavors of Italy. Beautiful presentation and warm hospitality. Very personal and caring staff that is like a family. We learned more about wine, olives, Italy, pasta, cannoli and olive oil. Engaged all of our senses and we loved it. Looking forward to many more returns.

We shopped and everyone was so helpful with all items and their knowledge of Mazzone oil! We bought and had it shipped back in to az! If you love anything Italian this is your place! They also do tours to different parts of Italy! Come shop you wont be disappointed!!!

Mazzone Olive Oil is such a GEM! I live in St. Pete but work in SRQ - and I am thankful I do becuase this allows me to have easy access to the BEST quality olive oil in the state (many different flavors, too - my favorite is the lemon olive oil) + their wine and hand made pasta is also out of this world! Customer service is also top notch with the entire staff being very knowledgeable on their products. Love it!

My friends and I attended the limoncello class. We thoroughly enjoyed it. We were served nice appetizers, wine and champagne. The class was a lot fun and informative. I would highly recommend it.

Mazzone Olive Oil is one of Sarasot's best kept secrets! The store has so much charm and friendly, knowledgeable employees. They carry in amazing line of olive oils, pasta, sauces, wines all of which made in Itlay. There's also an amazing collection of olive wooden cutting boards, bowls, and cooking utensils. One of my favorite items they carry are the ornaments and nativities. Make sure to sign up for their newsletter as they often host fun classes that you can sign up for!

Bought a bottle of the extra virgin olive oil and found it to be of the highest quality with excellent flavor. I have bought many different brands of olive oils and wanted to share the fact that this one stands out.

Our 1st time there for a Lemoncello making class. What a fun time. Our instructor Amy was great and her assistant s Marissa & Maddy were very friendly. Had some wonderful I Italian appetizers. The Lemoncello was perfect and surprisingly so was the mint version. Even tried vanilla ice cream with orange olive oil.

We've purchased many different olive oil varieties from them in both their store on 41 and the DT Farmer's Market. It's all of supremely high quality! After tasting their olive oil you'll find most other brands to be inferior + even question if it's real olive oil at all! The staff is all very knowledgeable and true enough (I read up on it later)--the tingling is a sign of a high quality oil! They are the real deal--all the olives are harvested in Italy. As I understand it the Mazzone family has grown olives and made olive oil in their small Italian town for over a century! It absolutely shows and we're lucky to have such them here in Sarasota!

I am sorry to say, while this bottle was very expensive, the quality of oil was disappointing. Advertised as Italian oil imported from Puglia, and infused with garlic, it’s closer to a blend of North African olives.

By far some of the best olive oil I have tried. Their flavored oils are out of this world. If you haven't checked this place out you are missing out.

What a wonderful treasure of food, wine and so many other great Italian gifts! If you are looking for an AMAZING trip, they offer a custom trip to their wineries and estate. Imaging picking grapes or olives and seeing the process of harvesting, not to mention the food! Amy is so knowledgeable about everything in that store. From wine tastings, pairings even a paint and sip, its a great spot for your kitchen needs!

Mazzone Olive Oil is such a lovely shop on the South Trail. Outstanding oil olive but anything related to Italy they have or will find. Amy is so very helpful, especially putting together custom gift baskets. I loved learning about their trips to Italy - hoping to take one with the family in the future.

I really enjoyed my time spent here. I learned a great deal and experienced tastes I never imagined! This olive oil is like nothing I’d ever had. Simply delicious. Makes you wonder just what the garbage I was using before was. No, this oil is delicate, fruity, perfect. After tasting the oils, I then tasted the vinegars. I thought I hated vinegar. Nope! This was indescribable. Sweet, fragrant. My words just can’t describe this stuff. You owe it to yourself to go and try.

I can't say enough amazing things about Mazzone's. My husband and I discovered this gem a few years back and have been returning regularly since. Their cooking lessons are fantastic! You can choose to be more hands on or observe the demonstration. It's super educational and tasty! You'll find yourself making fresh pasta at home as often as you can. From their wonderful olive oil to their scrumptious herb mixes and delicious wines, you will always find something to satisfy your taste buds. Each visit to Mazzone's is great and their service is outstanding. No matter if you are attending a class or picking up one of their delicious risotto kits to take home, you will leave with a smile on your face and some delicious treats and wine in your belly.

I love.this place! I roasted two red snapper with mazzone's orange olive oil...amazing! love their selection of balsamics and evoo's. I served them with their crisp Mazzone Malvasia Bianca white wine (organic). Go get some at.their shop or at the farmers market

I have used extra virgin olive oil for years but I never knew what I was missing until I tasted Mazzone Oilve Oil. We hear about the health benefits of olive oil and you think that if the bottle says "extra virgin" you are getting the best; not the case. Until I visited Mazzone Olive Oil store in Sarasota I had no idea what I was missing. The taste and smell is distinct and there is no denying that their olive oil is the best you can buy. It comes straight from the family farm in Puglia Italy! I can't begin to tell you how wonderful this olive oil is; you should stop by their store and taste it for yourself; trust not all olive oil is created equal. You can thank me later!
