My husband and my 3 children went, everything was very good, large quantities and super good treatment!!

We visited the place with the whole family, we live in England and we loved the food and service. The days we have left we will surely return before returning to England

Very good, relaxed and excellent food

YUM. It is nice to have a real latin bakery with so much variety of delicious comfort food that is made fresh every day (not frozen and reheated like Starbucks). The location is clean, comfortable and inviting.!

The place is very nice and we loved the service from Isabella, who was so kind, helpful and above all, she presented the products very well. We didn't know what to eat and we just wanted it with his expression when we named the arepas.

Guava pastry was delicious, not too sweet. Had a combo meal with a ham egg and cheese croissant. The portion size was generous. Croissant and coffee were delicious.

WOW. I’ve been to Colombia and Idt I had food there that was this good. And the coffee? I don’t even drink coffee and it was fabulous. Super fun. What a great thing for Belle Isle. Will be back. Super friendly staff.

Morning drive thru extremely slooooow. Not the first time. They need more people in the morning. I dont know how the service is during the day.

Very bad experience, I placed an order and when I got home I needed part of the order. In addition to that, I waited xomo 25 minutes for two cappuccinos because the girl forgot which ones she had paid for. The place is very nice but I think that there is no good organization

Stood at the counter for 10 minutes. I was the only customer in line. Employees everywhere but no one wants to take my order. Coffee is good but customer service sucks.

Everyone at the Hoffner Mecatos location is incredible with their customer service and attentiveness. The food is Amazing and always fresh. Location is always clean and has ample parking.

There with a group we were all able to find something we enjoyed.

Fresh to me, first time had coffee in the cafe. Nice BGM, good customer service. Nice interior. Hopefully, cafe will provide more vegan/vegetarian friendly dishes without garlic and onion. Will definitely come back again. I had cheese and avacado croissant for breakfast this morning. Will try something else next time.

A perfect place to sit and visit while enjoying the best coffee in town! Everyone is very helpful and friendly. We come here at least once a week.

One of my favorite spots for pastries and good service

We tried three different items at the drive through. We each tried a slice of chocolate cake. We were not disappointed at all. Service may be a little slow at the drive-thru, we guess because they just opened and not fully staffed. We waited a little too long on our 2nd visit. Highly recommended. A welcome change from the typical drive-thru chains. Delicious and well prepared.

Try the coconut pie. So good! All the girls working today were so kind. I asked for an extra shot of espresso and I had to walk it back and ask if I could pay for some more almond milk bc my drink was so strong. They waved it off and gave me an extra serving of almond milk free of charge. So sweet! Will be back when I am in town!!

Great place to catch a coffee and take in your day or have a breakfast meeting. Great coffee and great Latin flavored eats.

The place is very nice but in truth the service is not fast and the attention is not the best, today I went to eat and my order took 48 minutes when the other person I was with arrived after 15 minutes and my order It was really something simple, every time I went to ask about it and they told me that it was already on its way, then I realized that they took the same order to two people who had arrived recently, I made my complaint and they gave me the same answer until I went to ask for my money back to leave and they told me that the order had never been passed so it makes me understand that the staff is not aware of the order and that it is better to say that it is not there yet by making me wait almost an hour for an arepa . It's a nice place but the service is terrible.

We love coming to Mecatos. The food is great and the service is exceptional. Thanks to Esteban who made our coffees just the way we like them and made sure we were happy with the way they came out. His service went above and beyond!

It’s the first time I visit and the Tropical Basket was light and delicious. The Keylime Basket was sweet and delightful and the flan was on point. I had to wait for the cold brew to harmonize and blend in the flavors of the ingredients. On the overall, the restaurant is clean and spacious. Esteban was friendly and courteous. The atmosphere is great and a place where you can hope on a call or just relax.

Just went in to get a cake for my sister's birthday and parked in the back lot. I did not even know they have a Drive thru. A sign needs to be placed on Hoffner saying Mecatos Drive thru to alert people you have a Drive thru. I told the cashier about and she said she would pass it along.

The food was very good, like the other mecatos, the service was terrible, I ordered two empanadas and a coffee and my coffee arrived 25 minutes later when my empanadas were cold and the coffee arrived in a takeaway glass when my empanadas and I were in the table served.. I had to return it and ask for a cup

The desserts are good, the tres leches and the millefeuille, the bonus bread too but the arepas nothing to do with, I didn't like them but everything that is bakery and desserts is super delicious

I was really excited to try this place out being that it's right between work and home for me, however it's going to be a HARD PASS. I went through the drive-thru today and asked for a burger combo well done and the girl had such an attitude and responded with "um ok.......... are you good with waiting 15 minutes?" I said yes and she let out a little sarcastic giggle and repeated her "um ok"...Did my request for MY burger offend her? What the heck were you planning to serve me, medium raw? No thanks. Her attitude instantly left a bad taste for me and I changed my mind on spending my money here. Hire a more friendly staff.

The food was very good, but the girl who served me was very rude. She doesn't have the patience to explain things. She keeps screaming. My experience today was bad. Last week I went there. I was served by a super nice girl and now that I went there today. He was not good and had a bad face. I will never come back.

Came in here for the 1st time on Monday, Super Bella as I walked in it makes you feel at home, we order a few things. A number 1. Arepa con pollo y chorizo what a plus! The portion is beyond enough! Also the 🥐 with ham super delicious melting in the mouth, empanadas de hawaiana and una de queso both super good! The hot coco taste is so unique I believe it has cloves in it the taste was so good! I will be back! So glad they made one closer to home.

I love this new Mecatos location. Very nice atmosphere and extremely spacious, with nice outdoor seating. Loved the coffee too and they have various breakfast options and many sweet treats. The service is very friendly too. Recommend.

I have been here several times, and each time the food has been excellent. Large selection of Breads and pastries.

The most delicious Colombian coffee and pandebonos and buñuelos and cheese empanadas and tequeños with guava, lulo juice 🤤… I could keep going! Honestly, it’s hard to pick my favorite item on the menu. Also, this brand new location is absolutely gorgeous!

This was my first visit to Mecatos. The breads were delicious and the coffee was perfect. I took some desserts home to share with my family. Everyone agreed they were amazing.

This is their newest location! Went in on my lunch break & was very pleased with the speedy, polite service I recieved! The only error was that they gave me someone else's food which i did not even notice to be quite honest. It was delicious though. They apologized for the misshap and still let me leave with the original order I had placed. Also, the regular coffee is not very good. The prices are decent for the quality of food you recieve. The location has a great vibe to it also. Can not wait to try their pastries on my next visit.

Excellent Colombian styled food. Had the arepas with eggs, cheese, and ham. I would probably do bacon next time, the ham is very heavy/thick which is not personally my favorite but the flavors were still amazing. Chicken and meat arepas were absolutely delicious!

Mecatos on Hansel Ave just opened up. The food and service was excellent. Yulia was so friendly and made sure my huge order was swift and accurate.Everything is baked daily and the expresso was perfection. We are so glad to have such a wonderful restaurant/bakery close to home. The food is always delicious and the staff is wonderful! Nice seating indoors and comfortable areas outside.
