We were blown away by the food and service at Mediterranean Bistro. The chicken shawarma & tzatziki sauce were delicious. The rice and fries were excellent warm sides, but they had many cold sides that looked fresh and delicious as well! The restaurant is clean and food was fresh. We live about 45 minutes away, but can’t wait til we’re back in the area to dine here again!

I've been here a few times and the food is always hot and fresh. They cook the fries when you order so they are nice and hot. Great little place

Med Bistro is my #1 choice in all Atlanta! This dynamic duo serves up delicious authentic dishes consistently with their warm smiles and great conversations (leave time for it). The restaurant is always clean. And I love the music they play on the TV monitor! When you go, you’ll know!

I like that this is a mom and pop restaurant. The service was great, but the food was so bland. We tried 3 different dishes, but nothing was good.

Local(for me) Greek eatery. I love it. Gyro meat is offered even at fast food places now, but you can't get the accompaniments with the meat like they have here, from grape leaves to hummus to a pretty good Greek salad and a dozen more to boot. Sit down or take out, courteous help to assist in choices. Spartan in the dining room but adequate, a hidden jewel.

Best Mediterranean food in the metro ATL area. Hands down. The pasta salad and chicken shawarma is PHENOMENAL .

We absolutely love Mediterranean Bistro! It is family owned and they are always so sweet to our kids! The food is always fresh and tasty! Our 5 year old LOVES the tabbouleh, pasta, hummus AND fresh pita! I could eat it all!!

My husband and I love coming here. The food is very authentic Greek. Always so fresh and yummy! There's usually no one else eating inside but it seems like they do a lot of takeout. I would highly recommend it!

BEWARE!!!!! I had a lamb sandwich yesterday and within an hour I had vomiting and diarrhea!!! Called just now to let them know and the son answered and wanted to argue that food poisoning doesn’t happen in an hour. BUT IT DID!!!!! Someone else posted review earlier this week that they had diarrhea after eating here!!! He didn’t seem to care or want to hear me out! All I was asking for was to check their food so no one else gets sick!!

Husband and Wife duo and I love it! My daughter had a volleyball camp close and I wanted an early dinner. The young lady was so nice and approachable! Food was fresh and delicious. Will definitely be back!

I agree with the last one of the reviewers who stated she did not understand why this restaurant received a high rating. I couldn’t find out why either the food was terrible. The euro taste like store-bought meat. The onions were very tiny, diced onions, little lettuce of tomato and too much sauce did not look like the picture on the website at all Ordered baklava which tasted old the picture showed yet I only received one. I throwing the whole mail away. I’ll never order from there again. I can only give it the one star because there was no rating for zero.

This was our first experience and we had a Gyro sandwich and Gyro combo with Mediterranean salad. Pita bread was fluffy and soft, meat was very tender. We will definitely be back. My only hope is that maybe more is added to the kid's menu (maybe nuggets and fries) as we had to make a second stop elsewhere for our picky eater.

Had the combination feast with the tabbouleh and baba ghanoush. Great sized portions, the shish kabob was perfectly seasoned, the kofta and gyro meat were excellent. The lady at the counter (I believe the owner) was super nice. Overall the restaurant was clean and tidy, very casual, and I would recommend it as a spot to grab a quick bite that's delicious and filling.

Great little spot tucked away in a strip mall off the main highway. Stopped by on our way through on a long 10 hour drive. Quick and kind service with a smile and the food was the perfect midday pick me up. Very tasty chicken shawarma sandwich and chickpea salad and affordable too! Worth the stop. Will be stopping again whenever we are around.

They serve best Mediterranean food in the town. We enjoyed chicken shawarma and fries and both were mouth watering. Everything is freshly made. Would highly recommend to anyone who wants to taste the real Mediterranean cuisine.

Always a joy going into Mediterranean Bistro. A classic place to get a real falafel or gyro. It always feels authentic there. Unlike some other Mediterranean places I've seen around Kennesaw that seem to be pushing some sort of American style Mediterranean. I say that's going backwards. I feel like the owners have been there forever too and I love to support their small business. I hope they never leave! GREAT PRICES TOO!

A good place to go for Mediterranean food. I would go there again but it didn’t hit as hard as I thought it might. Based on other places in Kennesaw of the same variety I won’t be driving out of the way to hit this spot again.

If you are on the fence, jump! Just head here right now. I’m sorry I didn’t take pictures. My plate was obliterated before I had remorse over not taking pictures. The vegetable salads were fresh, crisp and delicious. The meat so tender. It was so good we bought a pound of the shaved lamb to go with a couple of pitas and tzatziki sauce. We can’t wait to come back and try more!

Loved this place , we found it by accident but the food was great the restaurant was impeccably clean you could practically eat off the floor. the owners and service was amazing, they went out of their way to make sure that everything was perfect for us , have not had this good of service in any other restaurant in a good while , they care and love what they do- which is the best reason to support this place ! Definitely worth a trip !

One of my favorite lunch places to eat in Kennesaw. Great place to grab a gyro. The family that owns it is from UK and Morocco. They love what they do. I'm so glad they are here making great authentic food !!

Stopped in for lunch today having noticed this place tucked away in a shopping center between my house and my office. The food (my wife and I both had gyros, she with a Greek salad and I with fries) was excellent and the portions were substantial. The service was friendly and prompt, and the interior was surprisingly cute -- azure and white, with faux brick walls with decorative windows and awnings. The place was clean and smelled great. I will definitely be back regularly. Every few weeks I get a craving for Greek food, and this will be my place.

They have the best gyros in the Atlanta area - by far. I'm so glad I stopped by here. Editing my post to emphasize how good this place is. Great food big portions, friendly people. I took a picture, but I wasn't patient enough to take a picture before eating everything. Edit: I came back and added a picture of another meal before I took a bite. This is still my favorite place in the area.

My fiancé and I walked in the door at 7:38pm. Immediately we were greeted by a man near the door that said, “We close at 8. You lookin to eat here or to go?” I smiled and said, ”We’ll get it to go.” He still seemed inconvenienced by us being there, so I said with a smile, “We thought we were beating your closing time by 22 minutes.” He looked out into the restaurant with a perturbed look, and said, “We aren’t open until 8. We have to mop and clean up and everything.” My fiancé quietly turned to me and said, “I don’t really want anything, do you?”. I shook my head and we left. One of the stranger restaurant experiences of my life. They had a 4.7 and I was excited to eat there, but we left and went to Taziki’s down the road.

Highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area. My favorites are the falafel sandwich and their fries (SO) tasty. Love the assortment of sides too, especially the pasta and greek salads. Run by a lovely family- always friendly, helpful, and the restaurant is very well kept and clean. Super close to KSU so perfect for students & staff!

This place is superb. The food is fresh and full of amazing flavors. I've been multiple times and have had nothing but great service and delicious food.

This is the worst Gyro's I have ever had there. All the sauce ond onions, lettuce etc was piled on top of the pita. Lamb shredded and stuffed in bottom. So you had to eat a pile of fixings before to the meat. So disappointed. I've had great food from here many times. Today wasn't it.

Very friendly staff, came to the table to chat with us and our children. We we’re traveling and had the shish kebab with rice and hummus as well as pita, and the children loved their pita grilled cheese with fries. Baklava was superb!

This place is phenomenal. Their lamb, steak, beef, and chicken are all perfectly cooked and beautifully seasoned. Their pasta salad is very good and the Mediterranean salad is excellent.

I gave it a 1 on atmosphere because it's a place to get food and not designed to be a hangout spot. It's a small business trying to serve good quality food. 100 FDA score. You want good food eat here, if you want a place that looks better than the food tastes than go to chilli's or Applebee's and eat your corporate slop no one really likes.

Beautiful little place! Immaculately clean, and the owners are so sweet. Had the lamb gyro and fries for $12. Both excellently seasoned and sauced. Lots of meat, very tender. Fries excellently crispy. Coke machine is very well calibrated. Definitely come by here for some great food.

As soon as you walk in, you're greeted by the owner. Order at the counter, go grab a table/booth, and your meal is delivered with a smile. I definitely recommend it!

I don’t usually leave reviews but this was my first time trying this restaurant and I had to share. My first reaction is that the food, especially the pita bread and the hummus is top notch! So fresh and delicious! I am a happy first time customer.

We are big proponents of supporting small local businesses. We’ve had great experiences with the owner of this restaurant in his other businesses so we had high expectations with this restaurant. We couldn’t be more pleased. We are big fans of a traditional gryo,s . This restaurant has excellent gyros. The bread is full and fluffy. The Gyro meat hot and well seasoned. All ingredients fresh and well balanced. A true pleasure. If we have any questionable comment is that on occasion the Greek potatoes have been over seasoned. Owner, staff very helpful and attentive. Great place in a very limited unique area.

Oh my goodness, what a gem! This is true Mediterranean food in a quick service format. Ordering is done at the counter and your plate is brought to your table. Most of the menu options are visible sort of buffet-style as you order so it's easy to point and ask what the items are. The food is prepared on site and mostly made scratch by a lovely gentleman. His friendly wife provides table service and everything else. She was a delight to chat with. We live an hour away, but don't mind driving to eat here. The food is outstanding. Casual atmosphere, beautiful instrumental music overhead while you eat.

I ordered the food for 3, Overall food quality was not good, we ordered chicken shawarma and falafel sandwich which were soggy and tasteless we have to leave food. Also their grilled cheese sandwich is a joke which is basically chews in pita bread. Definitely not coming back

Don't understand why there's a lot of high ratings. We ordered a Mediterranean Salad, Gyro plate, and a Chicken Shawarma plate. The portions were small and overpriced. The Gyros tasted bland. I believe they get decent ratings because they're mom and pop and probably have community goodwill. However, newcomers value the opinions of others, and this place is not worth trying. There are plenty of better options within a 10 mile radius. Don't waste your time.
