Hired them to cater our wedding at the Ancient Spanish Monastery and honestly couldn’t have asked for a better caterer. Mena is the best catering company in Miami! We have used them for several events and most recently for my father in law's 80th birthday celebration. I cannot say enough about Mena Catering and how amazing they were for my daughter’s wedding this weekend. This journey started with an engagement party in August, followed by a bridal shower in December and finally the wedding this passed Saturday Feb. 17, 2024. Monica Bertran was my coordinator for the catering. She is outstanding. We met with her and told her what vision we had for all 3 events. I can honestly say she exceeded our expectations for all 3 events. The food was delicious, the set up was perfection and the service was outstanding. Nick was our bartender for all 3 events. Hands down the BEST in the business. Danny (Chino) was also at all 3 events. He anticipated all needs and was stellar. Alex was outstanding as lead at the wedding. Everything flowed perfectly. Adrian was personally responsible for my daughter, the bride. He took wonderful care of her the entire night! If I could give 10 stars I would. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Truly the best team I could have asked for for my incredible 150 person backyard wedding. At first we had reached out to mena strictly for food because of the many recommendations I got from close friends but after the first run through call with Kristen Saks & Ana Lacarda we quickly realized how much my wife and I needed to get done and how little we had actually planned at that point which stressed us out at first but with Kristen and Ana’s guidance, recommendations, and contacts we were at ease knowing they would take care of the entire event for us. Kristen and Ana provided us with amazing communication and were flexible yet highly solution-oriented, always hearing our ideas out and giving us effective feedback and support and always having plenty of options for each aspect we wanted to incorporate for the event. We honestly could not have had as perfect of a wedding as we imagined without them. With their help, we were provided with the best wedding my wife and I could have asked for. The food was incredible - so much variety and attention to detail (they pulled off an eclectic menu consisting of Korean, Peruvian, and Caribbean flavors), the service/staff were attentive and kind and the ceremony and reception were remarkable. My wife and I, as well as my friends and family cannot stop talking about it. I cannot recommend mena catering enough! Not only for the food but for entire event planning. 10/10!

Where to begin?! I hired Mena for my 350 person, backyard wedding in December of 2023. This team is comprised of absolute professionals who know EXACTLY what they’re doing—from food to party planning, everything was hit out of the park. A week before my wedding the forecast showed rain. My wedding would have been an absolute disaster but for Monica and Lily springing into action and tenting my entire house. They were cool, calm, and collected the entire time despite the entire layout of the wedding having to shift days before. I knew they had it under control and was perfectly at peace the entire time. The wedding was DRY, FUN, and absolutely STUNNING….now let’s talk about the food. I think 30+ guests came up to my at the reception just to talk to me about the food. Every bite was DELICIOUS. The appetizers were scrumptious (they even brought me my own bridal appetizer sampler 😂). I really could go on and on about Mena. I recommend them to anyone who will listen. On top of all of the above, they are cool and fun to work with. They made the planning process enjoyable and stress free. 10/10, 5 Stars, A+, Gold Medal.

I just had my bridal shower this past weekend and it was a wonderful experience. I had the privilege of working hand in hand with Ana Larcada and I believe without her my experience wouldn’t have been what it was. She was extremely attentive, friendly and brought an excellent team with her. The team was friendly with my guest, made sure every single person was taken care of. The food was absolutely delicious and the drinks even better.

I had a Bridal Shower catered by Mena and it was beyond spectacular. It was wonderful. The food was amazing, the staff was exceptional and Ana Larcada, the coordinator, was the best of the best. I recommend Ana Larcada and Mena Catering with my eyes closed. What a wonderful afternoon they provided for me and my daughter.

I hired Mena 11 years ago for my engagement party and had a wonderful experience then. After asking around recently for who was still a recommended caterer in Miami, Mena came up again right away so I decided it was a no brainer to hire them for my baby shower. The minute I was connected with Kristen Saks I knew I made the right decision. She was always very communicative and an all around pleasure to work with from the beginning to the very end. She understood my vision exactly and was unbelievably patient with me when I started stressing about rain the predicted day on the day of our outdoor event. When the rain came, she handled it so well and organized her team with complete cool and grace. Despite the rain changing our original layout last minute, every single detail was still *perfect* that day because Kristen put in 110% effort managing the staff, was an excellent listener and very detail oriented. I would be remiss to not mention her team as well. They were SO kind, professional and on top of every single thing. Any time I needed something, someone from Mena was there at my elbow to anticipate my needs. The second it rained, the food was quietly, calmly and quickly brought into the kitchen where they reorganized the platters nicely on the kitchen island without any drama. It was a case study in professionalism and preparedness. The food was, of course, excellent. The spread was a huge variety of things and the taste was 10 for 10 on everything which was a pretty impressive achievement across the board. I cannot recommend Mena enough and am very grateful that they have maintained a high level of excellence all these years. It has made them the easy choice for me every time.

Mena really showed up and delivered for our wedding reception. The service was top notch and the food was spectacular. All of their servers, bartenders, cooks and kitchens staff were professional and exceptional. From cocktail hour to dinner, wouldn’t change a thing. I would say contacting them and getting a quote was pulling teeth but don’t let this turn you away. We were recommended by my planner, Mayra from EYExclusive and it was the best bang for our buck! We had 100 guests and the food came out warm and delicious. Every single person commented on how delicious everything was and how the staff was polite, happy and fun! Not sure where to begin so, I'll start by thanking Jorge Mena, Monica Beltran, and their wonderful Chefs/Staff. We had a 200 person wedding(daughter) which was flawless from beginning to end. Every person who attended the wedding made it a point to tell us how amazing the food was but the quality as well. My wife and I can attest to this as we sat down with "Monica" and sampled every dish that was served. From the appetizers to dessert... the presentation was outstanding and to top it off, the owner "Mr Mena" was present and walking around to make sure everything was up to par. Now I know why he's been in business for 40+ years. As for "Monica" I can go on and write a book about her so, I'll try and keep it short. She did an amazing job representing Mena and was "exceptional" as kinda our wedding planner. We really don't know if the whole experience would have been possible if it wasn't for Monica. She was on point, very detailed, strong, and knows exactly what is needed to have a successful wedding. My wife and I can't thank her enough. "Monica" will always be part of our family. I hosted a engagement party, and Mena catering was the talk all night about how delicious the food was, and how attentive the staff was during the event. We used Mena catering for our wedding. They also provided a bulk of the rentals needed. From day one, the team at Mena was professional, responsive, and very helpful. They are easy to work with and helped create my dream wedding. Not to mention the food is delicious. I hired Mena Catering for my engagement party and it was beyond perfect. As an event planner, I deal with all types of vendors for my clients events so I have seen some of the best and some not so great. The Mena team is exceptional. My parents were over the moon happy with everything. I’m not surprised because the team is always on point but honestly it was an amazing night. The team went above and beyond for everybody especially my fiancé and myself, my parents and grandparents. It was magical!🤍 My only regret- not eating! I was having the time of my life and even though the staff came up to me (three times) asking me if I wanted a plate prepared, I said “later” and just never got to it. Every. Single. Guest raved to me about the food and service. Worth every penny.
