Bravo!!! The dinner with wine pairing is a very special experience! You feel as if you are in Europe. We have done it twice and can’t wait to return. We also left with plenty of Italian goodies! Highly recommended! Grazie a mile!

This place is awesome! We drove an hour to get Sfogliatelle. We had no clue it was mainly a breakfast food. When I asked for it at 5pm, the dear lady didn't skip a beat. They cooked one up hot and fresh for us and it was oh so worth it! We'll be back!

I cannot say enough about this place or the people that work there. I had a request for a cannoli cake last minute and within minutes, I got a response from Valerio willing to help me out on such short notice. I'm talking like a day and a half. They made the most beautiful connoli cake for one the most special people in my life, who has been dying for a good canoli cake since he moved down from connecticut a few years ago. He and everyone loved it. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for making his birthday special. This place is a 10/10

I would give them zero if I could, I ordered three coffee, one iced coffee. The iced coffee didn’t have ice and the hot latte were so cold. I had to ask them to warm it up. She put it in a microwave and it was boiling hot at that point!! She didn’t give us utensil, I asked for three glass of water never received!! I ordered prosciutto with Barata, Barata Was rotten and sour to the point it was fuzz up in your mouth. Also when I order I ask, does it come with a Cini or bread or anything? She said yeah I can bring you !! She came with bread when we get up to leave,I had to ask for the plate and we were the only people there!! Horrible place horrible service and the owner was there !! he didn’t care , I would never go back.

First time going in very cute place, looks very authentic Italian, there are dry goods, meats, cheeses, Nutella biscuits (who knew), gelato, fresh baked, goods, and breakfast and lunch savory salad sandwich options. I took the recommendation of what kind of like a pizza they made it fresh right there. Absolutely delicious. I’ll definitely go back to try something else!

We had the best cappuccino in town! The chocolate croissant was to die for! We will definitely come back to try their lunch!

We went for lunch with my family and I felt at home from the friendliness of the staff and the friendly and smiling manager, the food was exceptional, tasty, full of condiments and tasty, I recommend everyone to go and taste the specialties of this place.

Oh my gosh what a gem!! We were wandering around the area looking at the second hand stores when it began to rain and I wanted a latte. My parents weren’t as keen but didn’t want to be wet, so they acquiesced— and were they glad! Highlights 🌟 Authentic! the family is from Sicily and just delightful. The owner’s sister was there and seemed like the nonna of the entire place, making sure everyone was happy. She came to speak with us and while she didn’t speak English and we didn’t speak Italian, we got by with an Italian-Spanish mixture. The dry goods are also direct from Italy. 🌟 Great for gifts. With a larger-than-you’d expect collection of wine, olive oils, spreads, dry goods, cheeses, and meats, this is a great spot for gifts. 🌟 after 3p discount. We weren’t here for this but after 3p all baked goods are 50% off. 🌟 lots of sweets — and ready to eat food. If you’re looking for something sweet like sfogliatelle, bombolini, biscotti, or even gelato, they have that. And also sandwiches, pizza, and fresh deli cuts. The only thing to know is it is quite small which certainly reminded me of Italy, so be ready to get cozy with your neighbor if you dine in.

Can't really say anything except that it's an experience. The food was fresh and delicious. And the Italian bread was made very well.

I usually like this place but had a horrible experience this morning. Went with a friend for breakfast and ordered two cappuccinos and a ham and cheese croissant. When I tried it I noticed that the bread had a thick crust of sugar on it, which together with the ham and cheese made for a horrible bite. I told the waiter there might have been a mistake because I didn’t order a sweet croissant. He told me that all their croissants have sugar on them and that’s that. He refused to change my order for something else or offer any sort of solution. So I paid 9 dollars plus tip on an inedible sandwich! (This doesn’t include the coffees, those were another 10) It should have at least been indicated on the menu if the croissant was anything other than plain! Very disappointed… and hungry!

What a great hidden gem! As soon as I got inside I felt transported back to Italy. For few minutes it truly felt like I was in a place in Italy. The food and the atmosphere were excellent. And the Italians we meet there were such great individuals! The pizza was so rich, the crust, the sauce and plenty prosciutto.

Stopped by to get a croissant and I must say it was good. My experience was ruined by one the rudest cashiers I have ever met. Probably won’t be coming back.

We found Mercato Italiano purely by accident while on a short vacation in Naples. And boy are we glad we did! The food is excellent. We had several items from the baked goods section including pizza, arancini, a ciopollini, in addition to a fresh salad and a meat/cheese platter with truffle honey (with a real slice of black truffle in it!) Had a great bottle of Barbera to go with everything. I wish we were staying longer because the lasagna and other dishes on the hot foods menu sounded excellent as well. The gentleman behind this market really can cook and we will be back for sure next time in Naples.

This is a great little storefront shop right off US 41 in Naples. We stopped in to get something for dessert. The store itself was very modern, well maintained, and clean. It made for a most inviting atmosphere. The selection was good. We picked up some croissants and cookies. Both products were delicious. By sheer chance, we discovered a great bargain too. It was after 3pm, and after 3:00, they sell everything in the display case to the right of the cashier for half price. This included the croissants we got, as well as pizza slices, sandwiches, and other items that looked really good. We plan to return for more croissants and some of the Italian items. And, I'll be sure to tell my bargain hunting friends about Mercato Italiano.

I think I found a hidden gem. I am not from this part of town. I was in the area and stopped in for coffee. I got a cappuccino. It was one of the best cappuccinos I have had in a while. It's a nice cheerful shop. The staff was very friendly to me. They have a nice display of baked goods. I got those little sweet things that tasted great. I think it was marzipan. I liked it. I found the prices good. I was glad I stopped by and checked the place out.

If you are looking for authentic Italian and Sicilian food, deli and coffee. Look no further. Cappuccino is outstanding. They have also some tipical food from Sicily like cipolline, arancini.Delicious bakery food as well.They have also some goods that are a staple of Italian food. I found also the bottled cherry tomato sauce. The selection of cheese are simply amazing and I almost bought everything! If you are in Naples or traveling to the Naples area and you love Italian foods you must go there. I will definitely come back!

Love the small shop atmosphere. My Latte was great! Not overdone, just simple espresso and steamed milk! The service was also warm and friendly.

Mercato Italiano is a small cafe grocery spot that ... well, hits the spot. If you make Neapolitan-style pizza or other Italian food, this place has authentic items from Italy such as Caputo 00 flour. They have an assortment of wines and cheeses as well. There are a few small tables about where you can sit and enjoy coffee, cannolis and some other baked goods - or even sandwiches. There was a 50% off after 3pm on the sandwiches and similar items.

A small little Mom and Pop with high end food. A little piece of heaven (but don't tell anyone please). Purchased and tried an assortment. Bests cannolis I ever had with actual pistachio nuts flaked on the ends. The cream croissant to die for! I can't wait to go back and try the pistachio croissants. If I had any complaint, which is minor, the Sicilian pizza should be called Italian focaccia, which is also superb, but truly not NY pizza. Almost forgot, their homemade olive bread.......a true rich bakery bread that I will now buy every week. 5 Star! I'm not looking forward to high season where we can't get in,

This place is a pure trip to Sicily!!!! The food is excellent and very authentic. I use to go to Sicily every year.... and I was missing its tastes. At Mercato Italiano we found a little piece of Sicily in Naples. The food was delicious..... The service was great..... The owner and the staff were wonderful.....I recommend this place for people who are really looking for the best Italian experience (we even heard people speaking in Italian). Try the Arancini.... by far the best we had in the USA.

It is always a pleasure to go to Mercato Italiano! For me, it is a ritual to have my cappuccino in this great place. And the croissants are the best in town! Be sure to try the pistachio croissant, it's a delight! Paninis are delicious and so crunchy! The best! Thank you, Valerio, for all your attention!

Amazing place, felt like Italy! Excellent espresso and cappuccino, super tasty pastries! My wife went back for brunch with mimosa and she loved it too! Huge array of Italian products, specialties and wines. Spread the word, this is the place to be in Naples! Can't wait to go back!

Chocolate gelato was good but $6 for one little scoop?!

Wow! Coffee on point, croissant so crunchy but soft at the same time, Pesto Paninni was soooo good. Great service is the cherry on top!

I had the pleasure of discovering this sweet Italian coffee, wine and market store. Valerio, the owner from Italy, is a genius with creating extraordinary Italian specialty foods. He and his family are truly lovely people. I appreciate that they are pet friendly. Favorite moments are had enjoying a cappuccino with an Italian donut. During a wine tasting event, they go all out with the delicacies and the wine selections. Mercato Italiano is a must visit in Naples. You feel like you are transformed to a town in Italy.

The store has a lot to see. We ended up purchasing some limited edition dolce and gabbana lemon chocolates and a cannoli. They were both good! Next time we will buy some oils or pasta. We were greeted by a family that worked/owned the store very nice ppl. Can’t wait to try the gelato next!

There are amazing people; super clean and organized place. The ice cream was delicious , so were the sweets. I will definitely go back to try their sandwiches next time. Thanks for charging my cell phone. See you again.
