The consistently good food, service, and ambience are reason to come back.

Our meals were excellent; 2 meatloafs, Lobster Cardinale and Pork Medallions! Our server, Billy was very attentive and humorous!

Good food, great service. Nice atmosphere. My only complaint is always the portions when adding salmon to the salads

from apps to entrees, everything was well prepared, and delivered to out table HOT

Our visit was awesome as usual. Party of 5: pork, sea bass, swordfish, filet and ribeye and everyone very happy. Attentive and pleasant staff and you’ll most likely see the manager checking on diners and helping out the staff.

We dined on Friday for my birthday as I was craving a filet. The Scallops appetizer was delicious but the evening filet Feature I opted for (10oz filet mignon w/ mash and asp for $45) was flavorless and overcooked. I ordered medium rare+ and it came out Medium well+. We would return but I wouldn't get a steak here again.

We ordered Shrimp, Tuna, Nacho's, Lobster Mac & Cheese and Chicken palm meatballs (all of which were delicious) Our waiter was Isaiah who was very attentive to us. Great overall experience. I've been coming here for years and will keep coming

Always enjoyed my experiences in the past at Meritage. This was a birthday celebration and unfortunately it was a big disappointment. Service was awful. It was a Saturday and reservations were at 6. It was just 2 of us and the place was not fully packed. We didn’t finally finish and pay till 8pm. 2 hours of really being ignored, almost given our entrees twice(not kidding) manager and waiter had no clue that we had already eaten them. Ordered espresso and dessert and espresso arrived cold no dessert. 15 minutes later the wrong desserts arrive. Wait another 15 minutes and finally got the manager’s attention and told him and finally we got the right ones. Literally felt like nobody checked in on us and I couldn’t wait to leave. It will be awhile before I come back. Too many great choices in restaurants to experience this. No birthday mention either even though I noted it on reservation. I could have left no tip because it was deserving but I did tip! Must do better Meritage

Meritage is one of our favorite places! Food is amazing and the service is top notch! We may not get there often but we love to celebrate our important events!

While I have eaten here dozens of times, my guests were there for the first time. They loved it!

Food and service at the bar was amazing, but what I did not like was the way I was lied to by the host in regards to having a table reserved for 2. I had dinner and drinks at bar, was there was two hours and there was a table behind us that was empty the whole I was there. but then yet the host tells me that there are no available table for two. Don’t know if maybe it was actually reserved or maybe she was discriminating me for some odd reason. I’d like to think the people didn’t show up. But I was uncomfortable

Always great at Meritage. Dave, Desiree, Kayla, Brook, Jennifer and Ethan always bring their best game and make you feel special and important. Celebrated my wife’s birthday and our 50th anniversary (again)! Food is always done to perfection.

Excellent restaurant. Chose it based on reviews and it didn’t disappoint. It was extremely busy looking when we walked in but we were seated quickly. We figured we’d be there for a while but the service was quick and the staff were very attentive to all of the tables around us. We had the chicken parmigiana meatballs and the clams Portuguese for appetizers and a Wedge salad. Very fresh and tasty. For dinner we had the pork medallions and the shrimp, scallops and filet skewers. Everything was delicious. For desert we had crème brûlée. Really enjoyed our time there. Our server was great. Very friendly and always had a big smile on her face. We felt very welcome at Meritage.

Everything as expected. Good food, good service! Disappointed in the 3% surcharge for using a credit card since most people don’t carry that much cash and debit cards aren’t as secure as a credit card!

An oasis in a hectic go-go world. We asked for a quiet table for two, and were seated at one. I guess the acoustics were softened by the ceiling material. Meritage offered an excellent spot for elegant dining without being overly stuffie. Service was prompt and our server was knowledgeable about specials and any questions we asked. Food was prepared just right and was pleasantly presented. We enjoyed our visit and will surely return.

Our first visit since moving to E. Greenwich. We usually frequent places in the old Main Street area because we can walk from our home and hadn't ventured to Meritage (despite many recommendations from friends and neighbors). We will not be waiting long for our second visit. Good food, a nice selection of dishes, fair prices and friendly service all add up to a nice evening out.

We enjoyed the service from Isaiah and found the restaurant aesthetically pleasing. For the most part, we liked the food, especially the pork tenderloin medallions and the mashed sweet potatoes. However, the ribeye was a poor cut of meat and was completely absent of flavor. I requested steak sauce which is something I have never done in my life.

Had Salmon and rice. Walnuts candy pear salad and banana cream dessert

I was disappointed that you took the pork loin with sweet potato mash and grilled zucchini off your menu. I always ordered it when I came in and thought it was delicious.

We dine here often but this must’ve been one of those nights. 2 fillet specials were requested med-rare both came out well done and those were the last 2 fillet pieces. Ordered the salmon as replacements, they were good but came out 20 minutes later, rest of table were done eating. Lobster Cardinale - lobster pieces were way overcooked and rubbery, the shrimp and scallops were okay. Dessert pizza crust was burnt.

Great food at a reasonable price. I would recommend Ameritage to all of my friends and family. It was my first time and I’m going to return soon.

We had a wonderful time at Meritage as always. The server was very friendly and accommodating and the manager came by with kind words. The ambiance is perfect and we enjoyed the glasses of wine and the nachos which really are the best in Rhode Island. We look forward to returning soon.

Meritage is our go to for special occasions. It always meets or exceeds our expectations. Waitstaff is always friendly and accommodating. Food is excellent, menu choices are plenty fully and make for difficult choices.

Dinner was very good! The host was very professional, which provided us with a great start. The waitress was also very nice. Our food was incredible. My mother had the filet special, and she loved it very much. I like how they renovated the place not too long ago- keeps things fresh. Really nice evening. The parking lot has pretty good parking too!

Almost everything was excellent. I had swordfish and my husband had steak. The only minor issue was that the calamari was very chewy.

I was very disappointed with the over salted chicken skewers and the completely inedible Melba pizza I ordered to go. But the worst was the sirloin that wasn’t seasoned and bathed in the raspberry balsamic glaze. I’m a steak snob so I know my steak and toppings are supposed to enhance not completely cover and overpower it. Disappointing birthday celebration

We truly enjoyed our dinner. The food was delicious and Billy, our server, was wonderful. He gave us time to review the menu, discussed the specials and continually check on us during the meal.

My wife ordered veal short ribs which we tough. The manager asked if she would like something else so she ordered the trio kabob. The meat was over cooked and the jasmine rice was very dry. I had the stripped bass which was a bit fishy. We have been to Meritage on many occasions and never had a bad experience so we will consider this a one off and return there.

I drink took a half hour to come to the table after ordering the first round. My fillet which I ordered, medium rare was definitely more like medium well. I will say we had an outstanding server name, Stephenie.

Cocktails and appetizers with friends. Everything was excellent. Enjoyed the Happy Hour specials in the bar area before 6pm. They were all delicious. We shared the calamari and then each of us ordered our own. Portions were large enough to serve as a meal unless you are a very big eater.

Amazing service, our server Dylan met any need we had and was very kind. The food was spectacular and the atmosphere was very nice. Overall I highly recommend Meritage to anyone looking for a quality dinner and a nice time.

One of my favorite places. I try to go at least once a month with my family. Unfortunately this time the service was slow (no fault of the server) he had to many tables to serve. The other shock was a price of 16.00 dollars for a bowl of pasta that wasn't even a full bowl. I will definitely go back but that will definitely not be something I order for my grandson again. I wonder if this comment really makes a difference to the restaurant.

Meritage is an excellent restaurant. We always enjoy having dinner there. There is a very good variety of dishes on the menu and the food and drinks are great. They also have very interesting specials in addition to the dishes on the menu. The service is outstanding. Our server did a really exceptional job.

Meritage has always been my go to place. I have never had a bad meal or poor service. This night there were 4 of us, and we had a very pleasant experience, our waitress Brooke was perfect and gave us suggestions on meals and drinks. Even though it was raining outside it was very nice inside.

This is a VERY nice place, especially for having events (Baby / Bridal Showers, Birthday, Anniversary, Retirement Party, etc) Wish they were closer to Providence but the drive is actually very fast. 10/10 Recommend 🔥💎🔥

Have probably eaten at Meritage a couple of dozen times over a few years. Our request for a quite table in a corner, because two members of foursome are hearing impaired, was easily accomadeted. Two of us had the daily special which is always outstanding..

Meritage is our go-to restaurant with family. It is a convenient location for everyone and they accept on-line reservations for groups larger than 6. We went for dinner on Father’s Day and everything was very good. Between us we ordered veal, pizza, pasta, fish and pork dishes and everyone enjoyed what they ordered. Our server was also very nice, and just the right amount of attention to make sure we didn’t need anything. Wonderful.

The food was great. Service was professional and friendly. Everything was fresh and cooked to perfection. The ambiance and atmosphere is really so old and tired and dark. There’s also a musty smell to the place when you go in either from damp floorboards or walls or isolation. Not sure but smells like damp old rugs. It’s a shame because the food is excellent.

Enjoyed dinner with friends at Meritage on June 8. The food was excellent. Fried calamari, wedge salad, Faroe Island salmon and pasta with braised beef and pork all first class. Creme brulee was divine. Service was fantastic. Highly recommend and plan on going back.

We celebrated a birthday here tonight. Everything was perfect the drinks , the food , dessert and especially our server Billy. He made our night, he’s a very nice young man!

We were seated right on time! Had a great time!! Enjoyed the couple at the next table also!!

Our waiter never checked on us. We ordered a bottle of wine. He came back a few minutes later to see if we wanted to order. We told him we hadn’t had a chance to decide. 1 hour & 15 minutes later we had to find him as we were hungry. We ordered a salad to split as an appetizer & a pizza for our entree. Everything came out at the same time.

Once again, a wonderful experience at Meritage. The front staff, the bartenders the servers and the cooks. They all get it done perfectly!

Went for dinner with my dad. Didn’t realize they have Happy Hour specials so we tried the beef tenderloin with mashed potatoes and the seared scallops. Food was awesome. Our waiter was EXCEPTIONAL! He was professional, attentive and just a nice guy. I wish I remembered his name. We will definitely be back.

Been going here for years. Always great food. Service was a little slower than usual but the server was pleasant. Desert menu was weaker than I remember.
