Great quality food and amazing service. They were very nice to my 3 yr old son and I when we went to pickup our order. Very kind! We may have found our new “local spot”.

I’ve lived by this place for a few years and never visited this place… well my loss, this place was amazing from the service she was very attentive and friendly, the food was amazing from salads to the dessert. (Tiramisu.) I look forward to going back.

Had the eggplant parm. The best I have had, and I have had a lot of eggplant parms! Dessert was lemon blueberry cheesecake...so good!

What a great evening we had at Merrill’s. Comfortable seating, delicious meals (scrumptious meatloaf, raviolis and chicken parm), as well as great service (shout out to our lovely server Brooke). An added bonus was having the owner Angel spend a bit of time chatting with us like we were part of her family. I highly recommend this restaurant. PS….don’t dare miss the homemade desserts. The carrot cake and banana cream pie were the best we’ve ever had.

Food was excellent. However the place looks like it needs a very deep cleaning. Bathrooms were dirty, walls need painting, baseboards were full of dirt. The cheap vinyl table cloths and curtains need to be washed. I won’t go back. Owner was nice and so was the server. Sorry for the bad review but please clean the place up!

I have been to this restaurant years ago, I wanted to try it again by the reviews. When we walked in tonight, nobody greeted us. The waitress who was the bartender for Saturday 12/23/23 would not look us in the face, just took our order. Did not come around very often, she did seem to talk to the other people @ the bar. When dinner was over she asked if we wanted dessert and went over only some of the dessert menu, as I heard her say the dessert menu (2) times before to other customers. I ordered (1) for dinner and (1) to go. She came out with the wrong one to go and practically threw the forks @ us. I have never ever seen this person before, why are you acting this way? Not a personal person.

As a lifelong area resident, shame on me for not having been to Merrill's before. My wife and I went for our anniversary and the food takes me back to the great Atlantic City restaurants my parents took me to as a child. The BEST sauce I have had in a long time. Nice size portions, great value, excellent service and cozy atmosphere. The owner, Angel, is a doll. Try them once and you will be back!

I've been a patron and fan of Merril's for since I was a little kid. I'm 62 now. We used to call it Hunz's. The food has been consistently wonderful over the years!

This is a Hidden Gem... Hidden on Rt 50 place is basic looking from outside. But inside is some of the best Italian dishes you'll find in the area. Look harder and find this place you'll be glad you did.

The restaurant was really good, the only complaint is that I wish they told us that they charged for each drink like soda and it was cash only. Other than that it was really good.

Angel is the BEST. My fiance loves her coconut cream pie and every year she lets us order one for his birthday. Angel, the food, and the desserts make this one of my favorite restaurants. It's home cooking without me doing any work!

Merrill's has a welcoming and family like atmosphere. The owner Angel is very friendly and spent at least 10 minutes talking to my girlfriend and I. The food is very good, everything was very fresh and the portions are extremely fair. The meatballs at Merrill's were my favorite part of the meal, they are easily the best meatballs I've had. Definitely a must try place with an awesome family tradition vibe.

Feels like home. First time I went everyone treated me like they were my aunt. Angel is really funny and wild. The food is good and the desserts are out of this world. The peanut butter pie is amazing. Do not go here if you plan on having a quick dinner it’s like at least a 2 hour long saga, but worth it. Cash only.

Delicious home cooked classic simple Italian food. Chicken parm had the best flavor and spaghetti was perfectly cooked. The onion petals were fresh, homemade and the dipping sauce was so good. We ordered the sweet peppers with the roasted garlic - omg highly recommend with extra bread! Absolutely will be returning. Save room for the homemade dessert. Cash only!

This is one of my favorite restaurants. I've had the roasted peppers ( appetizer), ravioli with meatballs, macaroni with clam sauce (white) and shrimp parm. Everything is great. Oh and I can't forget the desserts, yum!!

We've always loved visiting Merrill's and really miss Mrs. Merrill. There have been many improvements and it's brighter now. The food, as always was wonderful with nice sized portions. The dessert menu sure has changed. Everything was fresh and decadent. Angel is doing an amazing job. We don't know how she does it. We highly recommend a visit to Merrill's.

Haven't been there in a few years. But I was certainly not disappointed when the meal arrived. All meals are made to order and they were all fantastic. Plan to return soon and more often.

The food is always good. Everything tastes fresh and homemade. The desserts are the best part and worth saving room for. The service is friendly without fail. Never had bad service there. The real highlight is when Angel herself comes out to greet the tables.

Went to Merrill's for some outdoor dining as we're all doing right now. We were seated and ordered cocktails. The service was great! Spanky was our server and she was very nice all things considered. All precautions were taken, she wore face shield and gloves the entire time. I ordered the special stuff zucchini and I had a side of meatballs there was so much on the plate I couldn't finish it and it was delicious. My wife ordered a seafood dish with the same circumstances it was very good but the portions very big made a great dinner the night after. Also was served a very large salad that was similar to what my grandmother used to make I loved it. The desserts are homemade, no joke, homemade three-layer carrot cake and a lemon ricotta pie. We split one and took the other home. Needless to say I will be going back there even if it's just for dessert. Also had the pleasure of meeting Angel the owner and operator family owned business. You can see why it's been in business that long because it's that good.

Dessert Heaven. It was hot, and we had a birthday for the one of our kids who hates cake and instead loves fluffy pies. All quarantine long, Merrill's was posting tantalizing pics of their to-go options, including some impressive pies, so we got some birthday desserts--everyone got their favorite! Peanut Butter pie, Banana Cream, and a chocolate and vanilla mousse. YUM. Birthday girl was a happy camper. Generously sized. Friendly folks. It was during Quarantine Phase Out, so the diners were outside, and I have not seen their indoors or tasted their dinners. Pickup was back porch. They don't take plastic, so be forewarned and be sure to leave room for dessert!

Been going to Merrill’s on my way to Wildwood from Philly since 1973. It was a great place to stop for a beer and a game of pool on our way. Only been going for dinner with the family for the past five years or so. My son loves the chicken parm, and I’ll go for just about anything on the menu. Great Italian and seafood dishes.
