Wonderful gem in West Palm Beach. I love Peruvian cuisine, and I might have had the best ceviche of my life there. CEVICHE BOTIJERO IS A MUST! Impeccable, fast, and attentive service. I will definitely return.

If you love Peruvian food, then you have to try this place. We loved everything we ordered. It's like a mama and papa store, and the food is amazing. The Nikkei Ceviche tastes soooo good, and the Escargots was cooked perfectly, soft, and juicy. We will definitely go back again when we visit Palm Beach next time!!!

Amazing! The owner greeted us and gave the history of some of the dishes he recommended. Everything was spectacular. The shrimp ceviche was incredible. We have been to Peru and this place has our favorite pisco sour. Highly recommend checking this place out for good Peruvian dishes!

Very warm welcoming. Food was delish! We tried Yuquitas Mestizos and Causas de Pollos for starters. Great choice! The ceviche of shrimp was great. Ended up ordering one to go. Also had the Salmon Teriyaki. We were recommended with a dessert that was definitely to remember : Tres Leches de Lucuma. Oh my…its a must try. Overall great taste and a great experience.

We stopped here on our way home from the airport. Great little place in the middle of nowhere. We were there in the afternoon for lunch. The place only had one other table. We had the ají de gallina, the shrimp ceviche and the causa de pollo. All were very good. We will definitely go back. The owner stopped by our table and was very nice and we had a great conversation. He invited us to his wife’s bakery, which was down the block.

Best peruvian restaurant! I've been in almost 10 peruvian restaurants, and nobody makes the food taste as good as this one! I live about an hour and a half from this restaurant, and I'll go every day if I could because the food tastes amazing! I highly recommend this restaurant 👌 people were so nice and friendly and let's not forget about the food!. Please come and enjoy it. I bet you'd love it like I did.

The food is ok.. Service can be improved. Pricey place. They charged me a tip of 20% just because we were 5. Family of 5. 1 check but they called it "large party" totally ridiculous. The patio area gets super hot.. I dont think I will be ever coming back.

The food was excellent, 10 out of 10, the service was also exceptional, a quiet place with a very cozy atmosphere, the staff very friendly, it is definitely one of the best places I have ever eaten.

Definitely a must have. First time I come and the food was SPECTACULAR. If you are tired of the same thing over and over, this is the place for you. The filet with Gorgonzola, the tuna Nikkei and in general everything we had was delicious. Can’t recommend it enough. Well deserving of a bib gourmand.

I’ve had 3 stellar meals here. There are so many highlights-the freshly made lemonade, the tiradito, causa, etc etc. The food is delicious, beautifully presented and fresh tasting. The service is friendly and personable. I can’t recommend it highly enough.

Best ceviche I’ve ever had. The Nikkei is a must get. The owner patiently walked us through the menu with a contagious passion. We have been twice now and this is our new restaurant. Any time we have friends or family visiting this will be the go to spot. We have yet to find a dish that was less than spectacular. From the traditional Peruvian fare to experimental fusion creations, it has all been an explosion of fun and flavor. You will not regret it. I was thinking about not leaving a review for fear it would get too busy once people discover this gem, but it is too good not to share with the world. COME HERE! NOW!

Celebrated my birthday at Mestizo and the staff went above and beyond! They helped me decorate their backyard area and it was perfect! The team accommodated over 20 guests and everyone was raving not only about the food and drinks, but also about the incredible service. We have been going here for years and now all of our friends are as obsessed as we are. Thank you for the best bday dinner, Mestizo team!!!

We got there a bit late so we missed the live music. We started with the yuquitas mestizo and they were surprisingly good, smooth and creamy. My friend had the ceviche and loved it. I had the cilantro beef stew and it was good but felt like it lacked flavor; the stew was very thick and the meat was well cooked but the chunks of meat are too big so they are not juicy. The portion was generous and it would have been fine if I could take it home. I would definitely give it another try if I was close.

We had such a delightful meal. The food was delicious. We ate outside. Not much traffic on the street and there were planter boxes around us so it was quiet which enabled us to enjoy the good food and delightful weather simultaneously. The very nice owner said his wife runs their deli/bakery Cornucopia which is a few doors down. Her dessert were tasty.

Best of the best. Aji de gallina is what I ordered (I think!). Plus yucca frita. And my buddy had the stroganoff (yes, you read that right). All were top notch. Although my buddy did get the SMALLEST pour of wine he'd ever seen. Probably 2 oz at best. Food is the bee's knees. The owner came by to say hi (this only happens at the best restaurants, in my humble opinion). We enjoyed speaking with him very much and he suggested his wife's new restaurant for lunch the following day. Which I did. And was not disappointed.

The food is eclectic and one of the best you'll have. Great presentation and a cornucopia of flavors. The owners spend a lot of time with the guests when they aren't preparing the delicious meals. Excellent service. Can't wait to go back

Arriving in the area very hungry, and tired, I found this place based on reviews and WOW we are so thrilled we did, from the first course to the last bite, we were treated to such flavorful and beautiful food. Pedro, the owner, is pleasant and takes pride in his dishes. The restaurant is very clean, and comfortable. I can't wait to go back.

I came here for an early Valentine’s Day date Pedro (the owner) served us, and we had a five star experience. If you’re looking for a meal & drinks made with love, and a lowkey atmosphere - this is the place. Best Peruvian food in west palm beach. Lomo saltado, ceviche and yuca fries. This is the BEST PERUVIAN RESTAURANT around WPB area!!! I’ve been there several times, my husband loves it too. They have a fusion type cuisine that enhance all the Peruvian flavors. The owners are really friendly and make you feel welcome every time. Some of our favorite dishes are the ones made with Lomo Saltado, the Risotto, and Lomo Gorgonzola, and they used to have grill octopus and arroz con pollo that was to die for (I hope they include it back on the menu one day) 😁

One of the few places where everything I get tastes amazing! The tiradito de tuna nikkei and the seared tuna in ponzu sauce were SO GOOD. Owner also gave us some food history which was really great. The moji-pisco (drink) was delicious! If you love mojitos it definitely doesn’t disappoint. Also got the cilantro beef stew which was so yummy. We seriously ate every last piece of everything. Def will be coming back!

Just had a wonderful meal with the family. It was pretty full, but Pedro was able to accommodate our party of six by moving around some tables. He also took the time to explain the menu and the thought process behind the cuisine and his favorite dishes. We ordered the Tiradito de Tuna Nikkei to start, and my wife loved it so much that she got a second order. Everyone enjoyed their entree, and the service was top class. I emphatically recommend this restaurant to anyone in the West Palm Beach area, and we will definitely be coming back to explore more of the menu. Thanks Pedro!

Great little authentic Peruvian spot with a cool vibe!

Peruvian-based food and a lot of creativity!! The tiradito is a mixture of Mediterranean tartar with a ceviche finish with a lot of intensity and personality, the scargots in yellow chili sauce is another memorable poem from start to finish, the ceviche with olive another unmissable!! All this married with a Pinot Giorgio is the perfect heaven. Pedro and Mery, excellent 👌 👍 hosts and chefs!!

We love small, quaint, family owned restaurants where the food is deliciously made with love. The mood and the melo selection of music make you want to stay longer than you should, and the owners take the time to speak with their patrons. Chef Mily and her husband Pedro have created an enchanting place with delicious Peruvian dishes that will not let you forget the place. We took Pedro's recommendation for the thinly sliced salmon cerviche marinated in a secret Peruvian sauce. This was a delicacy and rather different from the traditional Peruvian white fish cerviche that we have had before. For dinner, I tried one of the more ethnic (non-fushion) dishes, Arroz Con Pollo, which is green (cilantro) rice with season chicken chunks. So good and a hearty serving. I recommend it. My husband had the Salmon Teriyaki, and he was served up a very fresh Salmon steak that was seared beautifully. My husband said it was the best salmon he had ever eaten. He also said the mashed potatoes and grilled asparagus were delicious. We hope that Chef Mily and Pedro have all of the success that they have worked so hard for and we will certainly visit again.

We were a party of two. We ordered two appetizers and two entrées which we normally don't do as we're an older couple and don't eat that much, but everything on the menu sounded so good. Well, we ate every bite of the appetizers and my husband almost licked his entrée plate clean. I ate half of my entrée which was still a lot for me and we ordered two entrées to go. The photo is their Filet Mignon with Gorgonzola sauce that was amazing ! Unfortunately, I tore into my Aji de Gallina before my husband could take a photo. We highly recommend this restaurant !!! As someone who grew up eating traditional authentic Peruvian food I love going out and trying Peruvian restaurants! Daniel who served us and Pedro the owner were so friendly and genuinely took an interest in who dined at the restaurant. The service was amazing! The food was a great balance between traditional Peruvian food with a twist. I was so impressed with every single thing we ate and the sour drinks were also some of the best I’ve had! Can’t wait to come back!!!

We decided to stop by Mestizo and give it a try, as we were in the mood for Peruvian food and we were pleasantly surprised at how phenomenal it was. The food was so delicious! If I could, I would eat it everyday. We started with the Fish Olives Ceviche, which was probably the best ceviche I ever had. The flavors in that were amazing. Then, we had the lunch special which was grilled chicken, rice, beans, and the best broccoli cheddar soup. The soup was so fresh and delicious. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

I went to the restaurant on Sunday Labor Day weekend at around 4:45 PM . There was no other diners inside the restaurant. The dining area was warm. Not sure if AC issue or because of cooking location.The waiter was helpful and willing to answer questions. The presentation was nicely done.I thought the cashew chicken dish had more sodium then I would have liked. Overall I appreciate the fusion cuisine efforts but personally this restaurant is not for me.

What a delicious restaurant! The food was 5/5! Truly delicious. My husband had the lomo saltado and the kids and I shared the cashew chicken. Just some constructive feedback…when we arrived, since the restaurant is small it seemed a little underwhelming and like it could use a good clean. We requested a high chair which was dusty. However, the server approached us and he was nice and cleaned it right away. Our food was quick and very fresh. We’ll be back! Thank you!

My friend and I went here and she enjoyed the escargot and the steak I am vegan and enjoyed their vegan dishes I highly recommend their vegan dishes. I have a severe meat allergy and their vegan dishes left me very satisfied ! These are whole plant dishes… can’t say enough good!

I have dined here twice. My first visit, for starters I had Yuquitas and main course I had Beef Stroganoff. The second time I visited I had the Yuquitas again and my friend had the WONTON DE CANGREJO for starters. For the main course we both tried the SEAFOOD CEVICHE. The Wontons weren’t as filling as I would expect and left something to be desired. The Yuquitas were good and the sauces made it very appetizing. The beef stroganoff was good and portion size was decent for the price. The sauce was good as well. It made the plate delectable. The seafood Ceviche was also good with a delicious sauce. The atmosphere and ambience made the experience feel personal and quaint. The price seem reasonable for the portions served. Staff was friendly and not overly bearing. I would visit again.

Food is authentic, unique, and always full of flavor. We’ve eaten here probably 10 times and have never been disappointed. One of the few restaurants I can say that about. This is the definition of hidden gem.
