Good food and great atmosphere. The food here was very good and met all our needs.

We really enjoyed the food here and there are plenty of options for different diets. Our waiter, Ricky, was great, and knew what food allergens were in our food without having to run back to the kitchen.

Food and service were great and would have given them 5-stars but just don't like that everything is an up-charge ... feta on salad, $3, whipped cream, $3, $6 to substitute potato for vegetable on a $48 meal ... also a credit card service fee. Maybe they should raise their prices by $1 all around instead....

We really enjoyed our dinner at Mezze. We especially enjoyed the mezze, calimari and shrimp appetizer and for the main course, the chicken tangine. Their hummus is one of the best I have ever had. It was my son’s birthday so we ended with the chocolate souffle (with a candle) which was also amazing. Our server, Mina, was extremely friendly and went out of her way to make sure no dairy was included in my mother’s dishes after we told her she had a dairy allergy. Just a great experience from start to finish. Can’t wait to go back!

Best restaurant we’ve been to in many years. Outstanding service and food that isn’t over salted or spiced. Everything was fresh and delicious. Very happy we finally found such a great restaurant. We will be eating her frequently.

Food felt overpriced for what we got. The Israeli salad was just alright, none of it was crisp or fresh-tasting. They gave small portions of pita with our Mezza as well, plus the charge for me seems high! Service was good and attentive, though.

My friends and I went to Mezza last night for dinner and it was incredible. We have been plenty of times and we are never disappointed. Our waiter, Ricky, was so kind! He gave great suggestions and was personable and attentive. Can't wait to go back!

Phenomenal. The food spoke for itself in how fresh it was… Chef Richard Puli prepared This Butternut Squash Gnocchi that had you saying “wow”. You could tell it was made earlier in the day… I’m hoping they have it as a special Entree again soon. The Ambience was on queue with lights dimming as the night wore on. Staff was attentive and answered all questions swiftly. And most importantly, my date was impressed with the restaurant choice. We’ll be back soon

I came here for a nice dinner with my father. It was nice that there was outdoor seating available. I ordered the steak kebab and it was cooked to perfection. The service was friendly and attentive. I only wish the menu had more Mediterranean variety. I highly recommend!

I usually don’t leave reviews for restaurants, but I would like to share a few thoughts about Mezza. I found this restaurant on Google, and before going, I checked some reviews. With a 4.5-star rating, which is incredible, I did notice a few negative reviews.It seems people often take their frustrations out on service businesses these days. Some people complained about the prices, which I don’t understand since the prices are listed on their website. If you think it’s expensive, don’t go there. There are plenty of restaurants for every budget. Complaining about prices seems ridiculous when they are clearly stated. Yes, the prices at Mezza are not cheap, but they make sense given the quality and freshness of the food. Every dish we received was exceptionally fresh and high-quality. We ordered crab cakes (served as two pieces), fish bites (served as three pieces), and a special salad with burrata cheese, mint pesto, poached nectarine, and truffle demi-sauce, which was an incredible combination. For entrees, we had the Lamb Shank, which had a generous portion, Duck Confit, Sautéed Bronzini, and Seafood Kebab. We thoroughly enjoyed every dish. The service was also amazing; we were very impressed. The staff cleaned the table after each course and kept it spotless. They were friendly and knowledgeable about the menu, and they asked if we had any allergies, which many restaurants don’t do. This attention to detail was very impressive. It’s worth mentioning that Mezza is BYOB. They opened our wine and provided an ice bucket but didn’t pour the wine, which makes sense for a BYOB establishment. There was no corkage fee, unlike some other restaurants. We were celebrating a birthday and ordered halva ice cream and a special dessert, which came with a sparkler. This surprise made my fiancé very happy. We truly felt special last night. Thank you, Mezza. We will be back.

We come to this restaurant at least once a week. The humus is wonderful (most of the time. Once or twice it has been served unfresh. There is an item on the lunch menu that my dearest friend loves. ( DO NOT GO THERE FOR DINNER AS THE FOOD IS NOT GOOD AND EXTREMELY OVERPRICED). We always order a cappucino at the end of the meal. The genteman who makes the cappuccino is lovely. Today, the cappuccino was waterly and devoid of a coffee flavor. We had it remade only to be served the exact same quality. Upon receiving the bill, $16.00 was charged. Yes, a cappuccino is $8.00. I went into the restaurant and spoke to the most ARROGANT AND COLD male named RICKY. Nothing more than a robot he kept repeating that he woukd not take it off the bill. I asked to speak to the manager whom I know and I was told that he was to assume her role when she was unavailable. What an egregious mistake. RICKY was unproffessional, arrogant snd quite frankly disgusting. He kept repeating that the $16.00 will remain on the bill. Not one of the drinks were consumed as they were not consumable. What a disgrace!!! Shame on you Ricky!!!! He is so “nice” when he is your server. What a duplicitous human being!!!!! IN RESPONSE TO YOUR RESPONSE, I feel sorry for you that you need to lie and say Ihave never met owner, along with tge rest of your false commentary. I did , and he was rude and arrogant. We have not returned anything in s very long time!!!!! We leave a 40 percent tip and even though your food is do inconsistent, we DO NOT complain. I come here with a friend who loves a particular plate. It is a vegetable plate. The last time the cauliflower were the sizes of baseballs and the time before that the sizes of gold balls. Your employee Ricky suits your establishment. You have the AUDACITY to say I used the word “servant”. I hate the word, do not use that word EVER and that must be how your employee feels working for you! How dare you put such an ugly word in my mouth???? I cannot stand your restaurant, the pompous attitude and now tour EGREGIOUS LIES. Your server Ricky was a diagrace. Uou charge for unconsumed food! Enjoy your day and you can ruin your “reputation” all om your OWN. I will NEVER set foot in your pretentous place again!!!!!

Came for Father's Day at a recommendation. Firstly, serving sizes of food are VERY small. We all ordered different dishes and none of them were anything to write home about. Entrees are minimally flavored which is surprising because Mediterranean / middle eastern food is always well dressed and spiced. Additionally surprised since the menu is already so small and 2 items were out of stock. Secondly, the cost makes it worse since apps aren't shareable unless you are a party of 4 or less. Pita bread IS NOT included in the price and you only get half a loaf when you do order. This is basically a sin for any Mediterranean place. Staff were nice but very on edge. Seems clear that the manager is all about efficiency and expediency. Members rushed the table to take plates very quickly. Truthfully, if you want real authentic flavor and experience I point you to Kamils in Clifton NJ. It's only 30 minutes away, but you get authentic & quality food at half the price of Mezza with double the quantity with a much more welcoming environment/ambiance.

This was a perfect dining experience. From the service to the apps, entrees and desserts. Everything was perfection. We tried almost everything on the menu and every dish was better than the next. The waiter was terrific and it was a delicious meal.

Haven't been here in quite a while. We were here this past weekend for a large group of about 60. Food was good with exception of chicken tajin. Chicken was dry. Halva ice cream was amazing.

Excellent meal! Excellent fish kabob, fantastic appetizers and a perfect cup of double espresso to finish off the night. Grab a bottle of your favorite wine and this place makes a perfect date, family dinner or just a spontaneous meal. Authentic and reasonable!

Delicious food in the most beautiful setting. Every detail is so lovely, with interesting unique decor that feels like you’ve traveled far away. We had a large group and the service was perfect, super friendly and helpful. Loved all the appetizers! Looking forward to going again.

The food was simple and overpriced for a sample size, furthermore I didn’t like the fact that we were waiting for my friends to come and I was hungry they were rude when I asked to bring some appetizers, they didn’t served me, because they were thinking that I will ask for 3 appetizers, anyway they didn’t took my order, they just care about money.

Highly overrated in my opinion. First off, we showed up 5 minutes early to our reservation and were told to wait outside? Really? Got the chicken tagine, was wildly overcooked and far too sweet. For an appetizer got the 3 dip sampler. Aside from the pitiful amount of pitas, which of course was an extra charge to get some more, the hummus was heavy on the tahini, the tzatziki was fine, and the third which I forgot was fine as well. None were anything to write home about. Grilled octopus was pretty good. Girlfriend got the eggplant parm. I have no idea how they managed to do such a horrible distribution of cheese and eggplant but they outdid themselves. Mostly one layer of a paper thin eggplant surrounding a slab of mozzarella. Then the rest of the eggplant is bunched up on the sides. Weird. Overall a big skip for the price.

Went for a Mother’s Day dinner with my daughter. My seafood kebab with a small arugula salad & herb orzo was absolutely delicious. We started with the three dip appetizer of tzatziki, tabouli (fantastic) & baba ghanoush. Definitely have to go back; There wasn’t anything on the menu we didn’t want to try. Unfortunately, they ran out of Turkish coffee right before we got there. I would love to have had that.

I’ve been in this restaurants for many times. Never disappointed. The lamb shank and the shrimp gnocchi are my favorite. The best crab cakes ever. The last time when I was dining with my friends, we tried the special baklava and it was so delicious. The service was impeccable! Great attention to detail. Came on Mother’s Day with my family for an incredibly delightful experience. Everyone in my party enjoyed their meals. My lamb shank was INCREDIBLE. The juices of the cut came together so well with the orzo and the spinach. By far the best restaurant experience we’ve had in some years with the staff being kind and attentive as a plus. Will definitely be coming back!

I came here on Mother’s Day with my family and it was amazing. We especially loved the hummus, cauliflower and branzino. The staff were great and very friendly. Local gem that I would highly recommend for a good night out.

I recently had a disappointing dinner experience at Mezza with a group of 9, and unfortunately, it did not meet our expectations. I was in town visiting family and friends and looking forward to an enjoyable evening. We informed the waitstaff upon arrival that we were there for a light dinner and proceeded to order appetizers and a few entrees accordingly. However, roughly 15 minutes after placing our order, a different server came to our table to convey that the owner insisted we order five more entrees or we would be charged $25 per bottle for opening our wine. The issue here wasn't about ordering more food; it was the lack of transparency regarding a minimum order requirement for larger groups. We would have appreciated knowing about this policy upfront, and would not have chosen Mezza had we known. The pressure to suddenly order more food felt unwelcome and put a damper on our dining experience, and quite frankly left a bad taste in our mouth. The food itself was decent, but the way this situation was handled left us feeling uneasy. Communication about restaurant policies, especially ones that directly affect customers' dining plans, is crucial for a positive experience. Unfortunately, this unexpected turn of events left us with a less than favorable impression of an otherwise potentially enjoyable evening.

Such a great restaurant. Friendly service, delicious food. BYOB. My favorite dinner entrees being the Mediterranean Shish Kebab and the Israel Kebab. Also, recommend people go for lunch because their salads are so delicious and refreshing.

We enjoyed a delicious, relaxed birthday lunch at Mezza, with Baba Ganoush, warm pita, herbed falafel, hummus bowls and shakshoukah. The chocolate souffle was a special treat! The hummus bowls are a work of art, filled with good things. I had lightly seasoned grilled chicken with spinach and tomatoes. My husband had highly seasoned chicken shawarma with caramelized onions. All good!

Bright, beautifully decorated restaurant with healthy Mediterranean options. We celebrated my husband's 60th birthday here and thoroughly enjoyed the babaganoush, crispy falafel, and hummus bowls! The freshly prepared chocolate souffle was a special treat.

Absolutely superb!! There is no other word for this experience and we have been going to Mezza for years!! Their interpretation of Mediterranean cuisine is expansive and inventive; you will not be restricted to one country. Enjoy Mezza— we always do!!

Mezza continually gets better and better! We each had one of the specials; rack of lamb and Black Sea bass. Hoping they add these fabulous dishes to the regular menu!

We LOVED the food, service and ambience! Our server was very courteous and attentive, the food was some of the best we’ve had, and what a beautiful, warm and with a mediterranean-eclectic interior! The Moroccan Cigars were delicious, and everything was presented beautifully, and on beautifully-crafted dinner ware! While it was Super Bowl Sunday, and the restaurant was not at all crowded, I can’t vouch for how quiet it would be on a busy night, but overall it was a lovely experience, and with parking available right out front, easy to breeze in and breeze out. One of the wait staff even ran out after us to return my phone which I had forgotten on the table! Definitely 5-stars, and we highly recommend Mezza!

Mezza is an awesome restaurant; the food was excellent. We shared the grilled octopus, cauliflower and salmon tare tare appetizers. I had the Israeli kebobs as main course. My wife had a shrimp dish. Everyone was extremely satisfied with their meals. Service was very very good, with one small exception: keep in mind that they need to turn over tables and set a limit, 2hrs for a party of 4. Our reservation was at 6:15pm and exactly at 8:15pm someone came over to thank us for joining them for dinner. Very polite. However, we were never presented with a check. If they had just brought the check, even a little earlier, we would have paid and left without any questions. This felt a bit awkward. Food for thought. Not really a big deal, we will definitely return.

It was our first time at Mezza and will not be our last. The food was delicious and Steven our waiter was knowledgeable, attentive, and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. We ordered the hummus, grilled octopus, and the red and white peach salad, all delicious. Our exquisite entrees were the sea bass, salmon, and shrimp gnocchi. It was snowing during our dinner which made our experience more special!

Went there New Years Eve around dinner time. Party of 2. Food portions are very small, average, and bland. Had the fish, and it was about 4 inches by 3 inches. Also had the lamb chops. Dinner for 2 with no alcohol was 230 dollars. Did not order anything unusual. Service was poor, attitude poor and they added a non optional 20% to the bill for a tip. This place normally had good reviews, maybe because of New Years Day. There are too many other great restaurants to go to. Will not return.

We met our family at Mezza in Westwood for dinner at my daughters suggestion. I have to say, the appetizers we ordered were amazing. Our waiter Ricky gave us suggestions for starters and we ordered all the dips. Mezza gave me vegetables to enjoy the hummus and babghanoush because I needed gluten free . The fish was fantastic! Great atmosphere and wonderful food.

The food at Mezza never disappoints. It is exquisite. They had a new menu item-Persian shrimp, which was outstanding! We were seated in the back so the restaurant was quiet and service was very good. The staff were very helpful in describing some dishes. We will keep returning!!

Delicious food and cozy atmosphere.

I personally would not return... the food was ho-hum... the food was different than most New Jersey restaurants, but not very good. We had the salmon and the shrimp gnocchi.. which would both get a grade of C. The crab cake appetizer was very good.

We had a party of 11 for dinner on a Friday night. The seating area was off to the side and felt like we were the only people there (we definitely were not). There were a large selection of specials to chose from. We had an assortment of hot and cold appetizers, some recommended from our waiter (Ricky) who was extremely helpful and kind. We didn’t feel rushed and timing of the food coming from the kitchen was great. I highly recommend the duck, the hummus, the kebabs and the chocolate soufflé (order with apps). I would highly recommend Mezza for date nights as well as celebrations. Can’t wait to go back- sooner than later.

After dinner with a large party we went back just the two us. Great servers, food and friendly staff both times. Highly recommend and it’s BYOB.

The restaurant was awesome, and the Mediterranean food was top-notch, making the whole dining experience super enjoyable. Plus, they serve this killer homemade hot sauce with green pepper that I absolutely loved!

Went for Christmas Eve dinner and they were out of a number of menu items, including specials. A bit disappointing but there are a number of other delicious entrees to choose from. Made them aware of a allergy sensitivity and the waitress was very accommodating by substituting an item on the dish. Overall it was a wonderful dinner and the waitstaff was really friendly. It is a BYOB, which slipped my mind, and again the waitstaff was very helpful by letting us know where the nearest liquor store was. Looking forward to going again.

The food here is incredible! The service was awesome. Amazing apps, sandwiches and dips. Would highly recommend. We stumbled across this place looking for a restaurant that was open on a Monday and we found a gem! We will absolutely be back.

Unfortunately, any good food and service was completely forgotten by the outrageous credit card policy . A $437 bill and only $80 was to be charged on 1 credit card. They charged the 3% fee on the total amount not the $80. So I had to pay $12.15 fee to charge $80. Absolutely rediculoua and probably illegal. That being said, our party of 8 will not go back there again! Shame on them. An example of what not to do to if you want to keep customers coming back.

They charge $8 for the water without warning. I ordered the shrimp gnocchi and it was not hot when it arrived at my table and it was nothing special. The chef considers it his top 3 dishes. Very overrated restaurant.

We brought a bottle of wine. The server opened the bottle and he did NOT pour one glass of wine. Nor did he pour the initial glass of water. He simply put carafe of water on table.

Mezza doesn’t disappoint. Always a delicious meal with great company! You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. The chocolate soufflé is a must have!
