The food, service and atmosphere was excellent. However, the selection of music during dinner was questionable. They piped in Reggaeton, where the lyrics were questionable given that there were family's with young children. Moreover, the music was blaring, to the point where one had to talk over the music to have a conversation. Overall the experience was good, aside from the aforementioned.

I dined here today and the atmosphere is nice but the menu is limited, they are very strict on the meal sides, I wanted to sub fries for rice and they said no. The food was ok. Also, they charge a processing fee of 3% if use a credit card for payment. No hooks on bathroom for purse. I would not return to this restaurant.

This place is very classy, very demure!! The service was great! I felt like I was in DR. We ordered a platter with multiple types of food on it. There was longaneza sausage, salami, queso frito, platano, and more. The chinola passion drink was very good.

Yesterday, my husband, my daughter and I went for lunch and we were delighted with the food and the service. José, the boy who served us, was extremely friendly, he explained the menu to us, gave us recommendations and was always aware of our needs. The food was exquisite, we ordered empanadas tacos that were an explosion of flavors in the mouth, the tail on fire and the shrimp enchilado were delicious. I will recommend this restaurant to all my family and friends.

The food is quite large in portion and delicious. The service is spectacular. The atmosphere is chic with elegance. José the bartender is very attentive, friendly and makes super delicious drinks. I assure you that you will be very happy.

The food was amazing JOSE our passion recommended the Mofongo with Sheimps and for desert the Passion Fruit Cheese Cake.

The restaurant is beautiful at first sight, just don't be blinded by looks alone. When we came in they wanted to sit us in an interior table while an empty table right next to the window was available. We asked if we could sit there and they did sit us there. We sat down and no one came by to explain the menu or even give us water. Luckily we had read some reviews that said that there is no physical (paper) menu and we scanned the QR code to get the menu. The server finally came to take our drink and appetizer orders. By then, we had already looked over the menu and were already to order the main dishes. The drinks came followed by the appetizer, the picadera, which was good. Before we could even finish it our main dishes had arrived. The drinks are somewhat expensive, around $14 a cocktail. We had ordered the Salmon de la Isla and Mofongo (Mofongo with your choice of topping: queso frito, longaniza, chicharrón de cerdo, chicharrón de pollo (con hueso o sin hueso), pechuga al grill, camarones, churrasco, or mariscos mixtos.) dishes. Be advised that if you want any toppings with the Mofongo there's an additional cost, which you have to drill down on the menu to get the cost. The food is good and a bit pricey. We had to ask for more water instead of it being always filled or offered. One person from our table ordered another beer and had to follow up to get it. Needless to say, the service was not that great. We ordered a dessert to share and it was good. When the bill came, there is a 3% fee if you use a credit card. I would sum it up as a nice restaurant with good but expensive food with average to below average service.

Typical Dominican - Opening a restaurant at 12pm but their menu is filled with breakfast and brunch selections. I’m from Washington Heights and I went there to have their mango with 3 golpes at 11am I was told sorry we are CLOSED!

I loved it, I loved everything, the truth is I didn't have good expectations but since it came in my opinion changed completely, the place was very nice, clean and clear, the food was delicious, I ordered a chicken in sauce and my husband had a mofongo with pork rinds and everything exceeded the expectations, a super super economical price, I will return.

The food was delicious and the service was wonderful. We went to celebrate my mom's birthday and she had the best time. They made sure to come out and sing her happy birthday as well. Melissa, our server was wonderful as well. She was very attentive and considerate. I'm looking forward to going again.

I recently dined at mi Tierra Bar & Kitchen and was thoroughly impressed by the experience. The Dominican food was amazing and very true to its roots, providing an authentic taste of the Caribbean. Each dish was rich in flavor and perfectly seasoned, making every bite a delight. Our waitress, Claudia, was incredibly attentive and took very good care of us throughout our meal. Her warm and friendly demeanor added to the overall positive experience. She made sure our glasses were never empty and our needs were promptly met. Overall, Mi Tierra Bar & Kitchen offers a wonderful dining experience with its delicious food and excellent service. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to enjoy genuine Dominican cuisine.

First and won't be the last. Abe was our server and he was very accommodating and helpful with various recommendations. Must come try it if your looking for DR food with a twist and modern feel, yet still provides a home cooking feel.

Absolutely the best Dominican food I have had in a very long time. Authentic and delicious. Better than any restaurant from Dominican Republic. I travel there a bit. Stanley, his wife and the staff make you feel at home. Highly recommend. Will see you again soon. Thanks for the experience.

The place is very nice, good atmosphere, and the food is good. The mofongo is delicious, the dishes have good presentation. Unfortunately, like most places in Miami, the service leaves a lot to be desired. They did not serve us water, and when we asked for it they brought very hot water, they did not explain anything to us about the menu (online only) and the girl barely spoke to us. The main dishes came when we had not finished the appetizer that we ordered to share and he also wanted us to clear the plates. The sangria seems excessively expensive to me for 18 dollars.

Just tried tonight, the restaurant was completely full & they still managed to get our drinks & food out super fast. Service was decent, nothing spectacular but still good enough for me. The food was soooo good & huge portions too! Definitely will be coming again & will recommend to others!

horrible service the alfredo pasta is way to salty and raw the pina colada is just pinapple juice i don’t recommend and not many choices to choose from

Mi Tierra Bar & Kitchen - Beautiful restaurant, great service, delicious food. Dominican cuisine at another level! We had the Empanadas Tacos, Mofongo with Pork, and Mariscos in a Yola. I have to say, Mariscos in a Yola is a different creation with a generous portion of choice seafood in a delicious sauce. It remained hot to the last delicious bite. Amazing! Dessert was Tres Leches cake and coffee. Plenty of parking is a great plus.

Came on a Saturday around 4:30 pm the first time for my Birthday! KARLA our waitress was very attentive and informative. The restaurant had great Food, Decor and Music. A must try ! We will return!

Delicious cuisine, and I’m not exaggerating, here is the best Mofongo in town! The Mariscos Yola is out this world. And Jose (our bartender) definitely knows about mixology, plus his outstanding customer service made this experience wonderful!

Going to this place is wasting your time. We went with 3 children and we had to leave because we lasted More than an hour and a half waiting. Unfortunately we will not return to this place again. The logistics of locating people is fatal, they should take training. We understand that it is a small place but they need to be more organized.
