One of Enterprise best kept secret treasures. The jambalaya is outstanding, as well as all of the soups. The Reuben is amazing and the bread pudding is the absolute best.

I came here to eat and will return back on my next visit to town if time permits because the service was great and the food sounds delicious as well as its reviews are good. I was so disappointed because I had ordered but before putting it in let me know they ONLY TAKE CASH. They were preparing to close soon and I didn't want to keep them to go all the way to my bank to pull cash, but she was kind enough to even give us to go cups for the tea we ordered. Kind service goes a LONG ways and I'll definitely come back next time hungry and with cash!!

This is a secret. Very small, maybe 10-12 seats. Always packed. Limited hours. The food is excellent with ample portions. You will not want. A great place. 👍

Oh my goodness what a great little cozy place to grab a bite with a friend!! The food was incredible! We had the veggie soup and grilled cheese with bread pudding to to it all off! The portions are very generous and the staff is very attentive! You will not be disappointed! Highly recommend!

The food was excellent! We were shocked when we got the bill because it didn’t reflect the price listed on the menu. Our server simply said “we haven’t changed the price yet”. I think she should’ve told us before we ordered!

Very quiet and calming environment with filling and flavorful comfort food. Friendly and inviting staff. I’ve been going here since I was little and the awesome quality has never changed! The limited hours and days make having the opportunity to come here every so often even more of a special treat. Don’t leave this restaurant without grabbing some bread pudding for dessert. Best hidden gem in town!

The best bread pudding you’ll ever taste! And omg his chicken salad, stop yourself right now if you’re in the area! Go get that, stat! It’s literally THE BEST. I can’t say enough good things about this place. It’s an American treasure!

I stopped here while in Enterprise for work It’s a small place with 4 tables and 13 chairs in total - I really liked the photos and art that completely covers the walls - Considering the number of phone calls that came in, I think a lot of people call in for takeout I decided that I either wanted to try the Philly or the Meatloaf sandwich, and the server suggested that I go with the Philly - it was ok - the meat was kinda tough & fatty, but the sandwich had good flavor The sandwich was really hot and fresh, but it took 32 minutes for my food to arrive after I ordered Another thing to consider is that the prices on the menu aren’t correct - the menu said the sandwich was $6.95 - oh well All in all, it was a neat place, but it took a while for the food to be served and I was a bit surprised when the bill arrived Please note that this is a cash or check only establishment

A well hidden jewel. Ive heard about this place and finally tried it twice. I love the Creole, the Vegetable beef soup and the Reuben here is the best anywhere. Mr Mick, you rule!

We drive from Luverne every chance we have to eat here. Mick has the best Philly cheese sandwiches. The gumbo and jambalaya are great. Mick is a fantastic cook and we feel like family when we go. Love this place and the cook. RTR.

Limited menu, but tastey food, he even offers cornbeef sandwich, which I'm having next visit. It's not a real big place, about 6 tables, but very friendly!

Despite having been stationed at Ft. Rucker a couple of times, I only recently heard of this place, and glad I did. Small menu with daily specials and daily soup, and either gumbo or jambalaya on Fridays - the latter is as good as anything I have ever had in Louisiana. Plenty of first rate food, reasonable prices, friendly people, great desserts, but if you order the bread pudding, be hungry, or have some help. This is a definitely a place to put on your list to take visitors, or to go to if you are one yourself. Only problem is there are only five stars to give - Enterprise needs more places like this unique spot.

Love this little place. It is bigger inside than on the outside. Best soups and sandwiches served in a very quaint setting. The desserts are to die for. Peanut butter pie, key lime pie and bread pudding. Whats not to love?

This food is so good! It makes me feel at home and the workers are ever so friendly! I am definitely coming here again and I love the style and decoration. They don't see you as customers they see you as family.

We go there every now and than and love it every time. I always get the daily bowl and it's always delicious. My husband and kids loved the philly sandwich, the sauerkraut dog and the grilled cheese platter.

Only open Mon-Fri for lunch and if you don't know where it is it is hard to find as it looks like a house on a street with other houses. Many locals don't even know about. It is a one man in the kitchen and one waitress, only about 20 people can fit in. They have great gumbo and jumbalaya. My wife loves the chicken salad and my Mother-in-law loves his re-made (dill to sweet) pickles (she got the receipe and makes them back in NC). My friend from Jacksonville. FL who is a self proclaimed bread pudding 'expert' says his is 2nd best which is a high ranking from her! I personally love the Peanut Butter pie.

Mick's is a very small cafe in a residential area. Parking can be difficult, but many people are there just for take-out so be patient! The cafe is owned and operated by Mick, a wonderful hometown character, and when the crowd dies down, he'll come out and talk with customers. There is one waitress so sometimes you might have a short wait, but it's never unreasonable. Mick serves a variety of sandwiches, hot dogs, quesadillas, and a great chicken salad. Every day, he offers a different soup, and on Fridays it's either gumbo or jambalaya. He is known for his New Orleans Bread Pudding, and he also serves other desserts. All food is prepared by Mick.

Little house full of memorabilia. The food was home made and wonderful. Really enjoyed the Reuben and the chicken salad. So glad we stopped for lunch.

I have been here several times. You should really try the chicken salad. The owner does most of the work. The place is really small and not super busy. The last time I was there, I was the only customer and had a really nice chat with the owner. Super nice guy who is a great cook!

I read in earlier reviews that Mick's Cafe was hard to find, and the other reviewers were right! After driving by it twice, I finally saw it tucked away in down a slight hill in a residential district. The attached pictures may be useful if you want to try out his good lunches...I know we'll be back soon. I ordered his "daily bowl" along with a grilled ham & cheese sandwich, and my wife ordered a Reuben sandwich. Everything was terrific although there were so many tasty ingredients in the daily bowl that I ended up taking most of the sandwich home with me. We're also partial to bread pudding and MIck's version is among the best we've ever had. (And he also gives you a very generous portion.) Open from 11:00 to 2:00, Monday through Friday, you'll get good food, great service, and interesting conversation when you visit Mick's Cafe, all at a very reasonable price. It may be hard to find but it is well worth the trip.

If you are lucky enough to find out about this best kept secret in Enterprise it is a must go to! The Philly cheese steak is my favorite sandwich and the daily bowls are always good!!! (creole chicken is my favorite!) The BREAD pudding and peanut butter pie is so delightful and you won't find anything else like it in the area! The atmosphere is always welcoming and you will leave satisfied!
