Great vibe, friendly staff, delicious ice cream!

I had been wanting to find a milkshake like I used to get when I was a young girl, and they did not disappoint. They were busy on Sunday afternoon, but we were waited on fairly quickly. We definitely will return. My drink brought back many memories of years ago.

We love this place. They have the best old fashioned banana split. The place is cute and cozy.

This is the neatest place; with the nicest guys and an iconic oldie type atmosphere!!! Mike makes the world's best brownie!!! I even nicknamed him and his cohort last night Mike N Ike!!! Which candy, they have too, LOL!!! We'll be back!!!

Very cool and unique spot to grab some ice cream and a soda! The two gentlemen that were working were very nice and polite and made the experience that much better! I have a very undecisive child and they were patient and let her try some flavors until she decided what she wanted. On top of it all, they use BLUE BELL ice cream! It was a 10/10 experience and we will be back!

Cozy old time ice cream place! Loved it!

I took my girlfriend to this place as a surprise. She was ecstatic at the vintage memorabilia and just the environment of pure joy. We enjoyed sundaes at a very reasonable price and stayed to listen to the music and chat. They have quite a few tables but you never feel crowded sitting next to others. In fact it's almost like it's easy to speak with other patrons having fun enjoying something they did as a child. If you want a place to experience a memorable outing somewhere where you could also bring your children you should check this place out. They're only open on the weekend but fairly late on Friday and Saturday. Sundays after church might be a nice treat also.

There is instant nostalgia as soon as you walk into this place, the guys are really friendly and aks if we need anything. To the best part the brownie sundae is always fresh, soft as a cloud and just delicious! I've wanted to try the banana split but when I get there I just end up getting the brownie sundae!

Honestly one of the best shops around, the owner is super nice and friendly, the staff is the same way! The ambiance is reminiscent of better times, I honestly recommend this place and this place deserves the money. Money though, the prices are so cheap compared to other places, it's worth every penny! This is for sure somewhere I will come back to very frequently.

Oh man these guys hit it outa the park with this little gem. When you walk in you are instantly transferred to a 50's style Soda Fountain. The guys working the day we went were so very polite and welcoming. They made us feel like we were the only people alive. I meant to ask if they owned the establishment but forgot. We all got a milkshake. White chocolate raspberry, the tracks, and dutch chocolate malt. They were sooooo good!! The shop itself was really awesome. The decorations and furniture definitely made you feel like you had stepped into the past. They had the TV playing some old Tom & Jerry which was fun to watch for a few minutes. They also have this really old cash register made of brass which was very beautiful and still worked! The only thing missing was the little paper hats they used to wear back in the day. That would have put this place over the top! Thanks again for the tasty treats and we will definitely be back to see y'all!

We tried Mike's Soda Fountain for the first time and was HIGHLY impressed not only with the ice cream products and the shakes/malts but the decor will set you back in time (50s-60s) Mike's has stood the yest of time thru covid AND the local TPC refinery explosion. If you are in the Port Neches area (or even 25 miles away) it's WELL worth the pop in or drive.

Great family find! Now we know where it's at, many more visits in the future.

I love Mike’s Place. I used to go visit him often when I worked in Port Neches. The shop is adorable, and Mike is one of the sweetest guys on the planet.

Delicious ice cream and friendly service

I was very happy when I walked in and saw an amazing set up of an old school ice cream shop. The atmosphere was welcoming and the worker and owner were very nice. Although it's just simple ice cream it just hits the spot on any day.

This place is a hidden gem! You feel like you are transported back to a time when things and people are good. It’s very refreshing to have a couple of hours to remember. Remember when times were easier, when you had just enough time to run to the soda shop and grab that last goody before the street lights came on! Thank you For keeping this establishment open for such a long time.
