What a find! We were in our RV at Koa when we saw a shuttle for this restaurant. The folks at the campground raved about Miners Claim, so we took the shuttle over. Easy decision,, and a great one. Our server, Summer, was on the spot whenever we looked like we wanted something. They have a phenomenal menu of various martinis and other mixed drinks (20+ pages) but we opted for beers. Alas, no drafts but the bottled beers were cold. For entrees, I had Ahi Tuna and she had one of the huge salads. Both servings were generous and we took some back to our RV. We finished the meal with excellent fresh brewed coffee in a huge cup, and shared an Italian Lemon Cake which was great. Overall a great dining experience. A call to the shuttle driver had him back to pick us up within minutes. Highly recommend! Ask for Summer!

Unique flavors, creative spirits and a great staff.

Amazing dinner on a lovely patio. The Naughty Housewife Martini was superb. Steak was tender, delicious. Shrimp and wedge salad also delicious. The mashed sweet/Idaho potatoes were extremely fantastic. Jennifer took excellent care of us and recommended the potatoes and we are so glad. Everyone was sweet to our pups’ first restaurant experience. They’ll have very high standards now! Thunder and Blaze give it four paws up!

We’ve been visiting this establishment for many years. The two for one martini’s on Tuesday have also been awesome. Tonight’s special was a filet that was maybe the best I’ve ever had. That says a lot when your 67 years old and have a lot of steaks. Hand’s Down the best restaurant within 20 miles. Don’t miss this gem!!!!

Food and service was exceptional. The atmosphere was less than desired due to seating on the outdoor patio and traffic on the main street.

There were BYGO Martinis! Our waitress, Jennifer, was OUTSTANDING! She added to our wonderful experience. The food was good. We stayed at the Holiday Inn, and they had a golf cart suttle that was wonderful to not have to ride the motorcycle and be able to enjoy those martinis!

Food is Amazing! Atmosphere was really chill and cool. Definitely a must stop if you are in area. We will definitely come back.

Our favorite place in the state for dinner and Margarittas. Jennifer is the nicest person you're gonna meet, she's the first person we met there and one of the main reasons we go back. If you're in the area you've gotta go there.

This has got to be my new favorite restaurant. We stayed nearby at the KOA and rode the free shuttle over to the restaurant.We were met with a smile and promptly seated. Food was fantastic and prepared perfectly. Will definitely come back when passing through the area.

Anytime we get a chance to go to Miners Claim we always do. We always have a great experience and love the atmosphere. Starting by getting greeted by one of the welcoming hostesses as we arrive, the wait staff is accommodating and cheerful as always. Our meals came out perfect and was not a big deal to make a little change for food preferences. The bartenders are consistent with making all the different drinks( and there are many choices to choose from). Sometimes we even end the night with drinks by the firepit and relax when we are finished with food. Definitely recommend trying it if you haven't yet!

Amazing experience, food was fantastic and the service was on point, we tell all of our friends to try it out for lunch or dinner, either is a great option, not formal very casual and great food.

I want to say that Christian saved the evening for us. We were stuck in Glenwood Springs with no transportation and we wanted to place an order with his restaurant, Miners Claim. I spoke with him on the phone and he was so nice and helpful. We got our order and the food was outstanding!!! I highly recommend Miners Claim Restaurant and if we are ever here again that is where we will go. Thank you so very much Christian. You are the best!!

My husband and I were in earlier this week, hoping to enjoy a quiet, well prepared dinner in a pleasant atmosphere. We used to live in Silt, and visited Miner's Claim often from the time it was built. My overall rating is indicative of the work, service, and quality we know Christian poured into his place. My rating on individual categories reflects our recent experience. Food - The food has always been incredibly good, whether appetizer, lunch, dinner, or dessert. It may be higher priced, but has been worth every penny. Unfortunately, I was not able to enjoy the steak I ordered, but the vegetables, potato, and salad were okay: Broccoli, squash, (maybe some onion), and carrots; baked potato with butter and sour cream; and spring salad with ranch and tomatoes. All common and prepared the same at similar restaurants. I cannot comment on the steak, which is what I was most looking forward to. There is also a notice on the menu that there is an $11 charge for kitchen staff. I don't know if that was per meal, for the whole ticket, or optional. My husband paid the check and I didn't look. Service - We made a reservation, at which time I was specifically told there was a gluten free menu. We arrived and were seated outside, on the top level, near a "deck" on the east side where extra chairs and some other things were being stored, and near the outside door to the kitchen. The flies were horrible, and why we, plus three other groups, were seated in that area when there were a number of empty tables throughout our dinner on the main deck is something I don't understand. The wait staff who were there spent much of their time looking at their phones and talking with each other. Several of them approached our table at different times asking if we needed this or that, said they would bring it, and then another person would ask, and so on. When it came time to order, I asked for the gluten free menu and was told there was not one available, but that many items on the menu - mostly steaks - could be made gluten free. We ordered, then the server came back to inform me that the steak I wanted couldn't be gluten free, so I ordered a different one. The waitress asked if I still wanted a baked potato or would I like to try smashed. I love smashed, so I ordered that. When the steak came out, it was cooked medium rare. I know this is a preference for people, but I don't like my food bleeding all over my plate. And my potato was baked. Our server didn't come back to check on us for some time (remember the cell phones), and when she did, my husband sent my steak back. She said she put it in same as his but when he told her she didn't ask how I wanted my steak cooked when I ordered she apologized brought it back, fully cooked, a bit later. Unfortunately, my husband had finished his dinner and I had eaten my potato, vegetables, and salad, so we took my steak to go. He ate it for lunch the next day and said it was good. A family at a table near ours asked to speak to a manager because they had some comment about the menu. I heard enough of the conversation to hear that whatever the complaint was had been brought up to Christian numerous times by staff and he wouldn't do anything about it. The guy said he would talk to Christian the next time he came in. I didn't think it was professional to throw your boss under the bus, particularly in a public setting. Finally, at one point a server was walking back to the kitchen from the patio and said, "There's the end of the country." She was referring to a tv program that was showing Biden/Harris walking across a stage. I am not a fan, but I still didn't think it was appropriate to comment, especially in a restaurant where people like us might be hoping to disconnect and enjoy a nice meal with family. Overall, the staff attitude seemed to be one of over-relaxation and not the disciplined, professional staff we expected. Atmosphere - Great decor, except for the flies and where we were seated. It was too close to the side door to the kitchen that had the door open and flies were buzzing everywhere.

Come here all the time. A must stop, a staple. Great food, service, and there's a golf cart that shuttles you from your hotel or HOA to the campground for tips. Make a reservation!

We made reservations and ended up sitting in a corner table under an air conditioner blowing cold air directly on us. The service was slow. When we finally received our food, my steak and baked potato were lukewarm at best. Completely not up to expect stations especially for the cost of the meal. Would not recommend this place to anyone wanting a quality meal and acceptable service.

As a local family and business, we absolutely love Miner's! Not only do we often come here as locals for (lunch & dinner menus are both fantastic) we also refer many of our clients to Miner's for welcome parties and rehearsal dinners and they can't speak highly enough about their experience. You have to visit, you won't regret it for a second. Food, atmosphere, service all top notch!

Visiting this restaurant is a must if you are traveling through silt or are a resident of this small town. The food and the service are more than top notch. The owner Mr. Harra treats his customers with an incredible amount of respect and professionalism. 10/10 will defiantly be going back!!!

Didn't have a reservation and I'm pretty sure we were treated as such. After waiting to be seated it took the waitress approx. 20 minutes to acknowledge that we were even sitting in her section. I ordered the Waygu burger and ordered it medium rare, it came out charred and the frys tasted like they were made the previous day. Was really feeling like desert when we arrived, but with such poor food, I changed my mind. Hopefully this was just an off night for the restaurant, but after this experience, I'm surprised they have lasted 25 years.

For silt Colorado being a little nook in the mountains this restaurant exudes the small town charm with the ambience and atmosphere of a fine dining experience with a more laid back approach without sacrificing any quality in service or quality of dish! everything was excellent! Drinks took a little long but nothing to really complain about! the host Kim was amazing and made us feel accommodated and made sure that everything was tip top! HIGHLY recommend this little treasure to tourists and locals alike!! I will definitely be back to this place!! No surprise they have been so successful for the past 25 years! Cheers to the Miners Crew!

I was eating when the news of Trump being shot came across the news. The employees cheered at the fact that an attempt was made in his life. What a disgusting group of people. Food was ok. My server was great.

Amazing food and cocktails. Really neat setting and great service. The only critique is I was unable to detect any crab in the crab and cheese stuffed jalapenos.

However, I would highly recommend reservations as this place gets quite crowded, even during the week. We started with nice cocktails to settle in after a long travel day. For an appetizer, we chose the Spring Rolls which were very small and did not have much flavor. Dinner was a filet, which was done nicely but nothing outstanding. Man what a cool little place!! The atmosphere was my favorite with a nice patio outside and a fire pit! The waitstaff were SUPER accommodating and allowed is to sit by the fire after the restaurant closed for a bit. We had the Wagyu burger and chicken wrap both were delicious and generous in size!! Will def come again!

Making a stop through town for the night and my son & I had a great time here. The service was great, food was awesome. I really like that they add vegetables and fruit to the kids meals. Healthy addition to a great meal. My son also beat me to it and commented "this is a very nice place. I like it!" He was right. Atmosphere was really chill and cool 😎. I didn't get to sit by it but the fire pit would've been a great place to sit by. Next time 😁 Bonus info: You can also get a FREE ride to and from the restaurant as long as you are dining there 😁😎

We have dined here many times as we travel and camp nearby. We really love the miners cart to bring us over and back from the KOA. Today we had Summer as our waitress she was awesome always keeping our drinks refilled before we realized we needed another one. Can't wait to come back to our favorite restaurant.

Camped nearby and loved the shuttle ride to this special restaurant. We returned again the next week. The food and drinks were exceptional. The well trained team that served us was also a big reason to return. Our hats are off to those who made our visit memorable.

This delightful restaurant is worth making a special trip to Silt. The food was scrumptious. The staff was extremely pleasant. The prices were a very pleasant surprise. My husband couldn’t stop talking about the Margarita they made him for days.

I’m decently young and I don’t like anything fancy so I asked for a kids menu and the one of the staff ladies made remarks about me and when I got my food it was worse I don’t ever usually make reviews but that was just disrespectful and the food was great

We really enjoyed our dinner at this restaurant. Our server, Summer, was really great. She was very attentive and didn’t miss anything. Bill had steak with their signature mashed potatoes and I had Halibut with Basmati rice…all perfectly cooked and delicious to eat. I recommend this restaurant highly and if you are lucky enough to get our server, Summer, you will not be disappointed!

Julie is the best server we have encountered in some time. She is courteous, attentive and always has a smile on her face. She took care of us at every turn. The food was exceptional, but the highlight of our night was definitely Julie. We will return.

This little town restaurant, makes big city food, atmosphere and vibes. While staying at the KOA, I stumbled upon this restaurant. The food is amazing, the drinks are on point, and the service is phenomenal. Large portions, reasonably priced and very hospitable staff. Very impressed.

The freshly made cocktails are refreshing and quench your thirst 😃 I absolutely love a good Asian salad Minor’s makes the perfect salad. Sadly I ate it so fast I forgot to take a photo of it. Jennifer was absolutely AMAZING. We ran the roaring fork and after our shuttle went there and she dealt with the jokes. She served us really good food, and gave us jokes right back. We’ll definitely be back, anf we’ll be asking for Jennifer.

Not impressed. I was recommended this place by 2 different locals, but it did not live up to the hype. Service was very slow - granted, it was Friday night on a holiday weekend, but they were rotating tables regularly and not at full capacity. The teens refilling water were friendlier and faster than the regular wait staff. When observing other tables, it was obvious we received lower tier service because we didn't order alcohol. Then they tried to upsell us on dessert. Food was mediocre. We had the Kobe sliders in which the patties and bacon were both overcooked. Prices are pretty high, but maybe that is expected for imported foods in a small town. Large outdoor patio is nice.

The food is delicious BUT I hate that they use veggies that look and taste like they came straight out of the freezer section. Would appreciate fresh veggies not just the same “mixed veggies” on every plate. It’s like an afterthought slapped on the plate instead of carrying on through with the quality of the rest of the meal.

So here’s the thing: Pros: We very much enjoyed our server Jennifer, Sally, Rebecca, Millicent, Phoebe, Viva, Estelle, Mary-Beth-Eileen-Marie. We were greeted promptly for our reservation time, led to a lovely table, and our drink order was taken immediately. The drinks were expertly made, and delivered with many smiles from the servers, listed above. Dinner was excellent, cooked to order —ish, presented beautifully, and at the same time, and tasted excellent! Cons: We had to leave But seriously Folks, this is a local gem with wonderful friendly service, excellent food, and A very welcome feel. We will definitely be back!

We had an amazing meal at Miner’s Claim! We started with a happy hour and apps then split an amazing 18 oz steak followed by a scrumptious cheesecake. Julie, our server, was incredible, attentive and wanted to make sure we had an enjoyable experience. Initially, we were deciding between eating out in Aspen or Silt. We were so glad with our choice. 10 out of 10. Would absolutely recommend and look forward to going back soon!

Finding out about these type of places is what I live for. Very unassuming in presentation and atmosphere, but the food quality, execution, and hospitality are A1. This is the type of place that is worth driving outside of the area for to be honest. A true 1 of 1.

Restaurant mgr horrible!! The owner, Christian, made my annual birthday reservation for me and my family on the phone for 2/9. Every year for my birthday, we eat at Miner's during my annual bday trip to the mountains. This year, for the first time in 10 yrs, my daughter, her husband, and my two twin grand daughters were driving up from Denver to join us for dinner. The restaurant Mgr, Janelle, approached the table to our right and accused that family of adjusting the heaters. A man at that table yelled back at her, "We haven't touched your heaters, lady!" Then she apologized to the couple behind our table for heater issues. Before leaving the patio area, she turned around, arms crossed and looked straight at me, and yelled, "So you are the people that were so hot that you had to remove your sweat shirts??!!" The entire dining room went silent. We all looked at each other in shock and confusion as we all dressed up that night, no one wearing sweat shirts, etc. I responded to her that I personally had switched seats w/someone due to the heaters blowing in my face, but other than that, we didn't know what she was talking about! My adult daughter stated that she didn't like the way she was looking at me; so angry. My young grand daughters became nervous thinking this lady was angry with them! We assured them that no one did anything wrong! The manager then walked away, and we paid our waitress and left, embarrassed and upset. When we got back to our hotel, our hotel manager stated that many people in town are familiar with Janelle's anger issues and how she treats customers. We spent $100's at the restaurant that night, and to be treated like that and ruining my birthday dinner for me and my family was horrible. As long as she stays manager at this restaurant, we will not be referring them to anyone, not on Google, Trip Advisor. Camping group sites or any other travel groups we belong to! The owner needs to understand that she is giving his business a bad name!

Honestly one of my favorite dining experiences in a long time!! The food, drinks and atmosphere are absolutely amazing!! Our server - Lucas - was great and gave us delicious recommendations! The bartender - Michelle - instantly made us feel welcome and whipped up some mean dirty martinis! Special shoutout to the girl who stuffed the blue cheese olives as well. Can’t recommend Miner’s Claim enough!! Will 100% be back.

I can't say enough good stuff about this place.. Christian and his team are continuously providing some of the best food in the valley. Josie, Summer, and the amazing wait staff are phenomenal. Completely worth the trip. An absolute gem here in the valley. If you haven't been, you've missed out.

Stopped here for a quick lunch driving through the area. It was well worth the quick on and off the highway and wish we could have stuck around for a drink. The food was good as well as the service. The menu had quite a few options. The decor was great and looked like it would be a fun place to hang out, too bad we had to keep moving.

While traveling through Colorado from Michigan we came upon the quaint little town of Silt. At the recommendation of our hotel we went to Miners Claim for dinner & drinks. We were totally blown away ! The food was incredible! You would never know that the chef was self taught. The quality and presentation was top notch. Now let’s talk drink selection….OMG. I asked what type of drink they had similar to a mojito, the bartender recommended a Scottsdale. That’s definitely my new FAVORITE drink ! We won’t pass through Colorado again without stopping off to Mners Claim ! Thanks Christian for a fabulous dining experience! See you again ! Mark & Lisa

Food is always amazing! Julie took such great care of us. She was always right there when we needed anything but never rushed us. She was friendly and great to talk with!

Had a great lunch here. Ordered the Reuben sandwich. Came straight off a hot grill super stuffed with melted chees and plenty of great flavor. The staff was super friendly and the atmosphere was light and friendly. Great place to grab a bite to eat, I would highly recommend it.

Came back in to have dinner at Miners Claim tonight. This was always a frequent stop for us when we lived in town, but have since moved to Grand Junction. I was reminded tonight why this place is so wonderful, and it’s the people. Jennifer was our server… and she has been our server many times before. It’s like family there - so incredibly nice and personable. Thank you Jennifer for making our dinner night out with family such a wonderful experience.

From the moment we walked in tonight, we felt treated like special guests. Everyone constantly catered to us, checked on us. Gave us a blanket to cozy up with outside around the fireplace while we waited for our table, which took only 15 minutes even though we called last minute. Food was amazing. SUMMER (our server/waitress) you are a beautiful soul and we thank you for making our night so blessed and beautiful. We needed a night away from caregiving for our elderly parents and being parents ourselves. We can't thank you enough for the personable, heart warming atmosphere you created for us. We don't know each other but we love you Summer! Owner, you rock. You have an amazing staff, best filet mignon by the way. Menu is superb. We had so many different, good foods and the cocktails were delish. No wonder why you've been in business so long. We will definitely be back❤️

Have seen this spot a few times and actually had time for lunch the last time we drove by. Despite it being a week day slightly after lunch rush hour (I had low expectations)... everything was on point! Wow, I was so impressed with the food, service, and unique cabin atmosphere. This would be a great date night spot and I look forward to coming back.
