Worst take out ever. Rice was a reheated brown soy sauce satuated mess. Beef sticks like jerky. Pork ribs like straight lard. Very disappointed . Wont be back.

We always order take out so I can't say anything about the service or atmosphere. We usually get a Pu Pu platter for 2 and the house Lo Mein. The food is excellent!!

I had the "C" option, which was pork fried rice, crab rangoon, and an egg roll. This was a great portion size and was only $9.99 on 8/16/24. I would definitely pick this again!

The place is always packed and take out orders lined all the way down the counter. Wait staff are very calm, cool and professional.

I went around lunch on a Monday. When I walked in, i knew it was the perfect choice. All the workers were friendly and had happy faces. The place was full of happy people. Im not from the area, but I was pleasantly surprised by how not only was the waitress amazing, but the wait time and food were as well.

Our experience here was horrible. Food was overcooked and rubbery. We will never return to Ming Lee Chinese Restaurant again. Too bad, as it used to be a place we liked to stop and dine at when visiting our daughter in Waterville many years ago when she lived there. It must be different management maybe or has possibly been sold but the new owner kept the reputable name?? I am so disappointed, and the meal was such a waste of money for us. Just what you want when you're traveling and hungry. Total frustration. I wish we would have just gone up the road to McDonald's! It no doubt would have been better. My opinion, my experience only.

Disappointed! Tonight Must have been a busy night and the food was rushed. Our beef teriyaki seemed old like yesterday’s lunch leftovers and the chicken was like biting into the fatty ends/tendons. Just awful!

It's the only place I will get Chinese food from. Even my kids love going here.

We came here for the first time- it was very busy but everyone there just seemed stressed like did not look or acknowledge us until maybe 10-15 minutes of standing there which almost made us want to leave. Our server was nice though! We got the pork wonton soup, large general chicken, scallop with vegetables, and a large rice- it was nice to request these without MSG. For 3 people, portions are really big like we could not finish it! Food was okay, not too salty. The vegetables were a nice touch. Rice was not the typical Chinese rice like it did not go with the food. The place looks rundown.

I called for an order waited for 15 minutes on my phone and got nothing in return with them still on the line. I went down to the store and I was still on the line and they did nothing for me. Told me it was my mistake. not OK with that answer not gonna lie, I’ve always liked to take out from there, but this level of service is comprehensible in regards to telling me it was my mistake for staying on my phone for 15 minutes after I called them went down to the store still on my phone, but it’s my fault. I will not be coming back to that establishment ever .

We ordered takeout 11:30 on a Sunday. Pictured is L10, L14, and Krab Rangoon. The fried rice for both entrees was put in the same container with the Szehcuan Chicken (not spicy at all). So the sauce was spilled all over both servings of rice. There was only like 5 pieces of chicken in the Szehcuan Chicken---it was mostly celery/veggies and a large amount of sauce. The Lo Mein was also drenched in a sauce with no flavor. Both egg rolls were overdone on the outside and underdone on the inside, my husband had to throw his out because of a weird chemically flavor.... Krab Rangoon was good though! There are 7 Krab Rangoon in a Small. Update: They were very receptive to our feedback, we will likely visit again and hopefully have an improved experience!

I’ve been to countless Chinese restaurants across the country, and Ming Lee’s is hands down the best one I have ever have the pleasure of enjoying. I’ve gone 6 times now, and I’ve had 6 great waiters, 6 phenomenal meals and 6 agreeable receipts. Absolutely wonderful place, the crown jewel of Waterville.

Make sure when you ask for extra of something you check. Did not get extra duck sauce so for a pu pu for 2. Not the end of the world, but very disappointed.

Called to place order asked for it to be ready at 1140 I happened to get there 10 minutes early and was sitting on the counter. Asked and was told it just came out. The food was the worst we have had there. I was very disappointed this time. Not sure if we will order there again.

This was once the go to place for me when I was in need of Chinese food. However the last 4 or 5 times it has been less than average, in fact I through most of it away the last time I went there. I got a pu pu platter the pork was hard to chew and not tastie is being nice, the chicken teriyaki was tough and hard yellow in the center. The beef teriyaki was tough but had a good taste, the crab Rangoon was good and what you would expect. The egg roll was edible but not what I have come to expect. The wings where know doubt cooked many hours earlier, the chicken fingers were over cooked the batter was hard and the chicken not edible. I tried saying every place has bad days but the truth is the last 100 dollars spent there were a total waste of money and I am in the market for a new go to for good Chinese food

Enjoyed WONDERFUL lunch at a new (for me) restaurant...drove up to Waterville from Auburn, a friend suggested we try it out, and NO regrets! Located across the street from Hobby Lobby, Governor's and other businesses I did not have time to check out....but there's always the next time. Thank you Ming Lee. Had the Garlic Chicken and Orange Chicken Dinner Combination.

Ming Lee isn't like the average Chinese restaurant. I feel that food overall is fresh and typically better than any other Chinese restaurant that I've eaten in. If you're from out of town and you're looking for a great Chinese restaurant, this is the place to go. If you're a local, you already know this!

Don’t appreciate the manager talking with her employees in front of the waiting area about how we didn’t tip on a take out order. Poor customer service values and obviously do not expect repeat business. Food in the past has been poor and was the same tonight.

The food is always great, but it seems that half of the time, our order is slightly messed up. We live 25 mins away and it's not practical to open the bag up on their countertop to check the order because they're always wicked busy. Again, the food is great, but I just wish that the orders were double/triple checked.

This is the only place we go for Chinese food! Even when we lived an hour away we would still make the drive if we were craving Chinese food. One of the best in the state of Maine! Quick in and out on a busy friday night

I paid $15 for sesame chicken and friend rice with egg roll. I read great reviews. The portion was generous but if the food sucks quantity is irrelevant. The chicken was mealy like watermelon. The coating was chalky the sauce was jellied and chunky. Was it ground chicken wads? It wasn't whole chicken. Strange texture. I prefer smaller pieces that are real chicken meat. Mine had 8 golf ball size chicken wads. The pork friend rice was dark brown, nothing special. To much sauce. The egg roll was what you would expect at any Chinese restaurant. I ate the wholeegg roll. I tried to donate the meal to my roommatewho said they had the best chicken fingers. He spit it back out. Im sorry i wont be going back to try something different. If u cant make sesame chicken i cant trust anything you cook..

Quintessential New England style Chinese food, very tasty. Very good service. The wall decor is very pretty but the carpet needs to be replaced, the booths painted, and the glass cleaned. It was very busy mid afternoon so it seems to be popular. We'll definitely return.

Service was great, friendly and quick. The food was not great. Orange chicken was chewy, like jerky. Most of it was thrown out. General Tso chicken is bland, no flavor or heat. Chicken lo mein was soupy. Swimming in sauce that had a funky odor resembling sewage. This was thrown out. We’ve been eating here off and on for a few years and it’s always hit and miss. This was the last time. The time spent in the bathroom was not worth any of it. We’re willing to drive to Rockland for the always amazing and authentic Chinese at Hong Kong Island. Totally worth the drive.

The sesame chicken with fried rice and egg roll was by far the worst Chinese food that I have ever eaten. The rice was dark brown and had a bitter taste. The chicken was yellow and although it was white meat the batter was overwhelming. The egg roll had an odd, unappetizing taste as well. My wife's meal was equally as bad. A good part of our meals was trashed. Will never go back.

My husband and I order out here once a month and it's always amazing. The staff is always very friendly. And the food is the best. In our opinion there's no other Chinese that comes close Orono to Brunswick (our commuting route) we will always recommend this place!! 10/10
