I wonder how many of the good reviews they pay for. The $23 sashimi appetizer consisted of 9 pieces that were as thick as a steak. They were served, not on a plate, but on a flat stone. It was more comical art piece than food. The Santana roll consisted of 10 pieces of sushi that was supposed to be surrounded by fried rice. There was barely a coating of rice around the roll. I have had similar rolls before so I don't understand how this all could be this cold. The fried rice should have had a warmth to it and it should have a good thick coat of rice. This cold coating of fried rice gave the whole roll a bland taste. I can't believe they willing serve that to people. After finishing my meal the wait staff stood at the front screwing around on their phones for several minutes before the waitress noticed me. This place has a nice atmosphere, that's it. With tip I spent $54 on the worst sushi of my life. I can not in good conscience recommend the food here.

Madeleine was wonderful and gave great recommendations! The Black Sea roll is an absolute delicacy! This is a sushi restaurant for true sushi lovers.

The food here is delicious, they have some tables to share sitting on the floor that we love since it is very intimate and cozy, all the drinks are divine, the service is A plus, if you want to eat delicious Japanese food come here.

Food was good however found a big piece of plastic in my bibimbap bowl!!

We had a stellar experience with Andres today. He was knowledgeable, extremely personable, and provide exceptional service. On top of that, the lunch specials were well priced and the food was delicious. We had the shishito peppers, kryptonite roll, and the lomo bento box. Highly recommend.

Another tasty Friday at Miyako. It's the best sushi. We love the riceless rolls, the salmon and tuna watashi. Yustiny is always very attentive and even knows by heart what we like. Today we tried the pork belly ceviche. Wow another new and tasty thing

I feel like the prices don’t match the service received. The table was not set when sitting us. They sat us with no plates or set up’s. I was baffled that the shrimp was forgotten on my husband’s entree and the dressing to my salad was missing. The never brought us water or offered us any. I found the temperature off my fish from my chefs pick entree the emperors fish entree. It was cold like it was sitting at the running stand for a while. And the not a fan of the championship roll which the server was nice to remove from our tab because the caramel sauce was overpowering. I realized it was drenched in caramel sauce not very appealing. The best dish was the calamari. I have to say by far the best I’ve had! Real & fresh! The place is nice and the food is very appealing, I drove a while because the photos online are very attractive and authentic. But the place lacks attention to detail!!! And lack of care. They left the tail in the shrimp. If I’m paying for these prices I expect to be given the same service. TIP included!? She didn’t even give me time to look at the drinks menu. Was literally rushing us out of the place. And upselling without caring our for my needs. I will NEVER go again… THIS is FAR from different.. I rest my case.

Cesar is the absolute best waiter in all of Miami in my opinion. He always goes out of his way to make us feel like family. Miyako is so good that it will ruin sushi for you anywhere else.
