Never brought all dinners at same time

Took a break from pizza and had an Italian sub instead. Very good. Great service too!

Favorite spot to get good pizza. Will travel here from Champaign to eat here.

So much better than what I remembered a few years ago.

The pizza was good, but I was disappointed with the banana peppers, which were not fresh and tasted sour.

Always good. Unfortunately I now need to request a "crispy" crust. Never had to do that before. Same at Urbana Monicals and Tolono Monicals. I remember when the crusts were always crispy.

In the dining area, the fans were on, and most of the people in my party were cold. We asked our waiter about the fans, and he refused to turn them off. Other than that, most of the meal went well. Towards the end, we put in an order for 3 skillet cookies. (Currently, Monical's only has skillet cookies at this location, which is the only reason that we go here.) When my party had finished our pizzas, we noticed a burning smell. Shortly after that, our waiter informed us that we'd have to wait 15 minutes longer for our cookies. We suspect that they had burnt our cookies. About 5 minutes later, our waiter came back and informed us that they couldn't make the skillet cookies because the kitchen was too busy with delivery orders. He offered to bring out 1 skillet cookie, but this was a ridiculous suggestion, because our party had 6 people. We asked another waitress about the situation, and she had a similar reply regarding the delivery orders. We think it's preposterous that incoming delivery orders take precedence over orders from people who are dining in and placed their order about 30 minutes ago. Due to their unwillingness to serve skillet cookies, I have no reason to return to this location, as we used to go here specifically for the skillet cookies. There are other Monical's locations that are closer and offer much better customer service.

Never tried their pizza, it was awesome! Great thin crust, was there with some great friends.

Nice place. They messed up our order and had to remake one of our pizza's. Ended up taking it home.

Still the best Monicals around! Nothing like the other "corporate" locations. In a small town with a small town feel. The food is always cooked perfectly.

Eaten at quite a few Monical's establishments over the years. The pizza I had at the Tolono location was by far the best I've had from a Monical's in years. Asked for nothing special I prep. When it came to the table it was a perfectly CRISP crust. Great pizza. Garlic bread should have been left in a bit longer. But, overall best Monical's pizza, I truly enjoyed this one.

I do not get to the Tolono location but it is awesome. I have been twice and I love it.

I haven’t been to this location in awhile, but when i came the service was absolutely horrible! I waited for about 25 minutes just to have someone come over and get my drink order placed!! I had to grab my own freaking silverware and i have had people who used to work there tell me that the boss was horrible.

Never experienced such a thin crust before. It was absolutely delicious! I normally only eat two slices of pizza. However I could have easily eaten a large pizza. Highly recommend!

Delicious pizza. Gluten free available. Excellent wings. Pepsi products. If you make it to Tolono, stop in. They are scattered around the midwest. There is one in Indianapolis.

I had a fraud scare when I received an e-receipt for a pizza to be delivered to someone with my name in Tolono, Illinois but I live in Florida. The owner, Tom, stopped during his extremely busy dinner hour to take my call and assure me that it must be a mistake because he really did have a customer by my name. He took the last 4 digits of my cc and said he’d check his cc run later that night when he hatched out...surprisingly, he did and called me. In a time of fear, and confusion...where his restaurant was surely overwhelmed with takeout and delivery orders, Tom showed kindness, patience and honor. I’m grateful and be rest assured, if I lived close by, Monical’s would be my pizza of choice. Be safe and stay well and THANK YOU!!!

Monical's has the best thin crust pizza around. We now live in Florida and I miss their pizza the most. This location is the original and has wonderful staff. The pizza came out perfect!

This is the original!! Went with a group of Jr high basketball players and we were accommodated completely and happily! Felt like a great mom and pop place. Pizza is fabulous and don't skip the Monicals salad dressing on the salad AND the pizza. BTW the help was great and seemed happy to be there. Take a couple half baked frozens home to enjoy later.

This is the best Monica'ls ever. This is where it all started from, Tolono, IL. Haven't had a bad one yet. They actually have a room you can reserve for parties. Would recomend over any other Monical's. They do not have a lunch buffet. Been going there for 46 years.

I have been coming to this place since I was a child and the pizza is always thin crust, but always filling and tasty. The teams that have worked here over the years have always given me nothing but the best service you could ever ask for, and each pizza tastes always better than any other place I have eaten in the US. Coming here for my pizza has never left me unhappy in any way at all, and if you are from out of town- I highly recommend coming here first and foremost for any and all occasions.

They are a family run joint, that loves to make sure everyone is happy with the service. They have some great deals, and the pizza is the best Tiguan crust anywhere.

This pizza place is a landmark staple for the Champaign County community. Sometimes it shard to see the sign but that just allows you the opportunity to your the neighborhood as you turn around in quaint little Tolono. It's not a huge place but they do a great job serving quality pizza including some interesting specials with apples if I'm not mistaken. They're big enough that we had a friend's wedding rehearsal dinner there and it went very well.

I could eat monicals 7 days a week. The variety is great and the pizza is the absolute best! Nice to have them locally here as well. Grew up on monicals. Love it!

This is by far the best Monicals in the area. Everything, from the service to the salad to the pizza, is superior. As a frequent visitor, I have never have a bad experience at this Monicals. Highly recommend.

We tried sandwiches for the first time and we were not disappointed. I had the ham and cheese and got marinara sauce on the side to dip it in...very delicious. My husband had the Sicilian and he also said it was very good. The service was also good.

The pizza is always good. Ham sandwich is not. They also ARE NOT handicap accessible for restrooms and have no intention on becoming accessible as they existed before the law was put into effect. I have had loved ones need that and its just sad the owner won't adjust because it's the RIGHT THING TO DO!

My personal favorite Monical's. The original restaurant. I go for the lunch special a lot, and when I don't I still have had enjoyable experiences with the food and atmosphere. Definitely becoming a regular customer.

Best Monicals Pizza in central IL, best think crust pizza ever! I only have one issue and that is that sometimes the service you should be aware that most of the workers are teenagers and I've been told back when I was in high school that the owner is very hard on his workers. I understand working with teens can be difficult but the owner can take it too far at times.

This location has a more limited menu than others. Took a long time to get Salads and Pasta. They crank out pizza fast!

I do not live in IL but anytime I visit family in Tolono this is a must stop!! I brag about it all the time everywhere I have lived and can never find a place that comes close to their thin crust!
