Great local place, amazing barbecue, awesome menu. I love their green chili Mac and cheese and their spicy chicken Sammich

This is my favorite local spot, plus... I've been to a lot of bbqs places all over the US and all over the world. (Korea and Brazil are up there) but this place has some of the best bbq ive ever had. We're talking championship traveling bbqers. They have won a lot of competition all over the US, they have medals 🏅 up in their tiny little hole in the wall place. I recommend eating there now, order anything. Me and my coworkers order the battleship for 4 of us and it's 200% worth it. It's a family owned place, it's very obvious the cashier is the daughter and her dad is the bbq master. My two favorites lately: The Piggy Mac (w/ side of blueberry bbq sauce, gotta ask for it) and the The Spicy Chicken Sammich that comes w/ 2 scorpion kisses (bacon wrapped jalapeño poppers soaked in bbq sauce).

Hubby brought home brisket from this BBQ joint down the road that tasted great, even cold! I stopped in to see what else was on the menu. The chicken taco is kickin'! Moist, tasty, topped with everything except cole slaw and dribbled with Mooner's spicy BBQ. An award-winning delight in the neighborhood - check it out

This place is amazing! The ribs were so tender & flavorful. Kids loved the tacos & pasta salad. Staff is very friendly. We will definitely stop by again.

the people here are amazing! great customer service along with delicious food & low prices. me and my family went here for my dad's birthday & they were very kind about it. this small BBQ place is definitely one of my favs!! definitely recommend!

Brisket, pulled pork, green chili mac&cheese and Cole slaw were excellent. Chicken was a little dry. Sauces were excellent soft drinks were not cold enough.

I have made Bbq ribs for hundreds of people. Believe me I know Bbq. This is the best Bbq i have had in Az. The smoke ring is present and the ribs have a subtle smoky flavor. It must be the Pecan wood. The brisket is moist and flavorful. Large portions and very reasonably priced. I will be back.

We love the pulled pork! They have great prices, the staff is friendly and the hours open are convenient.

The King of BBQ is Moonerl. I miss the blues music with my BBQ...blues and BBQ ...keep it blues . The food is second to none. I love this place.

We got there 3.5 hours before closing and they were out of all the brisket and pork. Guess you have to order ahead. Disappointed after a drive to get there 😕😞

Don't let the size of this establishment fool you. It's small but flavor is BIG! We loved it. Not only is the food delicious, service was great and friendly.

This is a small BBQ place that offers up fantastic, flavorful food! Everything we've gotten there has been incredibly delicious. I highly recommend trying this place out, you won't regret it. It may be a little off the beaten path, but holy moly, soooooo good.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The BBQ was hot and delicious. And the overall experience was awesome and I'll be back. The parking lot up front is small so I'd recommend parking in back. I highly recommend the waffle and ribs as well as their vinegar based BBQ sauce. Yum!

Absolutely fall of the bone ribs.. I got the baby back and my hubby got the ribs... The beans for a side were delicious.. Our new favorite place it is delicious!!!!

So far, all we've had is the quarter chicken, tri-tip, and beef ribs, of which the tri-tip was the best. For sides, the Mac and cheese, beans, and corn cake were all very good. The scorpion kisses are awesome. Looking forward to trying more items.

The best barbecue in the valley. I had their Saturday special brisket sammich with horseradish and onions, the brisket was tender and moist, and they put a lot of meat in the sandwich. The cornbread waffle was delicious. My wife ordered the pulled pork quesadilla and it was wonderful. Will be back!

Great family run BBQ. Everything we had was great. We had the brisket sammich. Good helping of meat. The brisket was not dry and the smoke flavor just right and not overpowering. Beans were delicious with green chilies and some bits of pork. Scorpion bites...wow. And the banana pudding cheesecake for dessert is a perfect end. Cans of pop made easy drinks. Cozy eating area inside with a small patio as well. They can sell out of things so check ahead. We are coming back. If you live in STV or QC no need to go to a chain BBQ when we have a great local place right in our backyard.

Delicious 10/10 and we will be back! There is indoor seating and the staff is super friendly. I recommend the brat with coleslaw and pork! I don't remember what it was called exactly... Edit: we tried the ribs and oh my goodness so good!

Had the 1/2 rack with spicy sauce and the scorpion bites. Amazing!

Oh my goodness, the food is absolutely fabulous. Try the BBQ beans! They are to die for! Everything we have had is just wonderful. Will definitely keep coming back.

We stopped by for the first time and were delighted by the flavourful and tender bbq ribs and delicious sides! Lovely food and very friendly service. Definitely enjoyed the Navy themed decor. :) Will definitely be back with the whole family next time!

OMG! If you're looking for excellent BBQ in the San tan area, look no further. Quite honestly, this is better than any other bbq if had in the Phoenix area. This is a MUST TRY.

Had the BBQ pork sandwich with beans and pasta salad. My son had brisket with same sides. All was FANTASTIC. I've eaten bbq all around the states and this is definitely at the top of my list of best. Three different sauces to choose from and all are very good. Will return often.
