Lived in the area for a couple years and this was my first time visiting this place. Absolutely loved it. Service was excellent but the show stopper is the food. I ordered Spicy Salmon Rolls and they were, for the first time, actually spicy. Everything tasted fresh and portion sizes were above average. Price was average for sushi in the area but I’m not complaining. Will be back for sure

Local sushi restaurant clean neatly decorated friendly staff and a sushi bar..its BYOB. Had lunch menu range from 13 to 15dlrs Comes w soup, and a box w a California roll,salad w dressing veggies edanamme and you meal. I had the shrimp tempura 3 large shrimp for 13 dlrs w above worth evey penny. I'll be back

Very clean and friendly staff. It's a BYOB location fair parking. Nice menu and also one for lunch. Was there from lunch, prices run from 12 to 15dlrs. I did the 13dlr, shrimp tempura box. Comes w miso soup lettuce w dressing, veggies a California Rolland edaname and 3 shrimp. Oh and tea. GREAT VALUE will go again

Everything was delicious and beyond tasty. No need to go anywhere else in the area. I highly recommend this place and I'm happy I found this place out

They have a wide variety of specialty rolls along with the usual. The food is always fresh and well prepared. It's my go to place for sushi.

I have been coming to this place for years and every time it’s fantastic. Clean place and the nicest people work there! Recently I have been on a salmon skin hand roll kick - it’s SO underrated and i highly recommend you try even if you’re not a fan of fish - it does not taste fishy at all and would be a great introduction to folks who don’t fancy fish like I do (basically obsessed haha)

Came here 2/11/2023 with 4 friends for one of their birthdays. Aesthetic was very nice and calming, very welcoming. Waiter was very kind and polite as well as understanding of one of our friends running late. Food didn’t take too long to come out and was delicious, clearly very fresh fish. Bathroom was clean and well maintained along with the rest of the space. One of they employees even offered us some free food after we were done eating, which was just as delicious as the rest of it. Will definitely bring this place up to my family when where to go out to eat is a topic of discussion. Image below unrelated

The sushi is fresh made to order spicy anything is delicious they mix in the spicy sauce with the fish rather than just putting the sauce over the rolls which to me doesn't taste the same and mixing in the spicy sauce with the fish just gives it a better flavor. So if you love spicy rolls I would recommend getting the spicy salmon with avocado and the spicy tuna with cucumber both can't go wrong picks well unless you make it a roll with spicy sauce just on top to me thats a lazy way of making it

I was very impressed by the high quality of their fish and flavor of their sauces. Staff was attentive and courteous! I will definitely be back. :)

This place makes the best sushi! I’ve been coming once or twice a week for takeout for years. They know my special requests and always have it ready in minutes with a delicious handroll as an extra.

This place is AMAZING! Wonderful service, delicious and fresh food, and oddly specific, but great music! I hate when I go to a restaurant and the music is either distracting, I’ll fitting or too loud! This place had super chill music that I’ve never heard before, so I could enjoy my delicious gyoza and chicken tempura while listening to a soft version of “All the Small things”! Please stop by Moshi Moshi if you get the chance! You will not regret it!

Best sushi I have ever had. I drove from elmwood park nj (20 mins each way). The spicy stuff is truly spicy and bursting with flavor. This will be my regular spot from now on. My taste buds are tingling right now. Can't wait to try more stuff from there

No frills, clean and friendly Sushi spot. Been there 20+ years so seem to have it figured out. Always enjoy my meal there whether dine in or take out. Free handrolls while you pay for takeout are tasty and a very nice gesture.

My daughter loves this cozy Japanese restaurant. The tuna and cucumber hand rolls are great. The nabeyaki Udon noodles dish tasted authentic just like the similar dish I had in Goi Chiba near Tokyo.

This place is cute, and feels a lot like the little restaurants we ate at in Japan. We also over-ordered, which isn't easy to do with sushi. Their staff is kind and will work with you (they upgraded a salad in our combo), and the food came quickly and was delicious. Do note, the entrance is around the corner. We almost left thinking Google led us to the wrong address.

Parking in adjacent lot shared with yogurt store. I loved the poke salad bowl with assorted raw fish. I had the dressings only on the side. I love that they included seaweed salad, shredded beets and masago. Generous portion. They allowed me to specify which fish I want and I chose tuna and salmon. The brown rice was flavorful. I didn't give this restaurant 5* because it's small and the decor and ambience are somewhat lacking.

One of the best sushi places around. The actual restaurant is on the small side but we almost always do take out. Their rolls are priced very well and they taste amazing. Their kitchen items are good, but almost average. The star of the place is their sushi and it's the absolute best around.

We dine here or order out frequently, maybe three times a month or more and we have never been disappointed. The location is so-so, the decor is less than impressive but the food is absolutely top notch.

Great service with decent sushi. Staff usually gives us a hand roll on the house, which is always a treat. There are better places in Ridgewood for sushi at this price point, but Moshi Moshi is usually consistent. Never get their water, it tastes like fish water

Had a hard time parking in Ridgewood to go to the sushi places there. Heard about this place and decided to give it a try. It did not disappoint! Great fresh fish with friendly service and plenty of parking spaces. Loved the Moshi Roll, Pink Lady and Dragon Roll. Also enjoy the complimentary wrap!

A friend invited me to lunch here. I was unfamiliar with the place. It's a nice, local, take out or eat in place. Nothing fancy, no frills. But you go there for the sushi. That said, the menu is good, good depth, varied, etc. Nice offering of sushi, from the basics to their specials, and the more "Americanized" modern flair type rolls. You can tell they use quality and fresh fish, and it's well prepared. I don't know a lot about this place other than a good friend, who is in the food business, invited me -- and I enjoyed the sushi. Nice local place. I'd have no problem going back.

Liked: Box sushi lunch for $10.95 complete with 4 pc sushi. California roll, salad with ginger dressing, sprouts, edamame, green tea. I have it for lunch with a friend who gets the sashimi box lunch. It's really a dinner - so good! Dislike: there isn't one near my home miles away.

Enter into the small store front and be greeted by every one of the staff. This place is warm and friendly and helps you relax at the end of the work day or weekend. Jack and Joann are the backbone of the restaurant and you can always see them running around keeping all the customers happy. The wife and I enjoy a combination of the Sushi bowl salad followed by two different rolls each Friday. All the rolls are tasty! This is the best sushi place in our area and the owners pay attention to detail and keep it that way. Bring your own bottle of wine or whatever and enjoy.

Green River Roll is really good. Vegatable miso is loaded with veggies. Not tried the raw so I cannot comment on that.

I used to think of this restaurant strictly as a take-out place, but it is so very good. They have redesigned the seating area in the last couple of years, and they are attracting many more sit-down diners. I find the sushi fresh, flavorful, and delightful. I wasn't even going to share my secret, but we highly recommend this little getaway spot. It is not a good choice for very large parties though, as it is quite small and cozy. For takeout or small party sit-down, it is great and quiet enough for conversation.

This place has an extensive menu of specialty rolls, some of which are creative and unique. I branched out and tried some funky stuff. My only complaint is that some of the rolls we got were very saucy (covered in too much special sauce). The fish kinda got lost in the mix. But otherwise, a very pleasant experience.

Very fresh sushi. We have both dined in and ordered take out. Very casual setting. The spicy tuna rolls are our favorite. We’ve had the teriyaki beef box which comes with a soup, our 2 children shared it and LOVED it. This is our favorite local sushi place. They always serve a complimentary hand roll at the end of the meal or at pick up. We loved the ginger tea and even bought some to have at home. Price is equivalent to quality. No delivery, only pickup.
