I got a BLT one a sub roll and when I arrived home I was so caught off guard at how bad the sandwich looked. It was soggy and literally the bread/homemade sub roll was just falling apart from how soggy it was. The bacon was a whole other level of dread due to the lack of proper BLT bacon that should be cook enough where I'm gnawing on bacon for 20 mins when I could have finished the whole sandwich if the bacon was the way I asked for it and that my friends was foe crispy. Cookies are amazing as long as you as certain younger employees, their the most honest!! They've told me straight up on a few occasions not to buy then that their old or straight up nasty. Love the honesty on that deal but everything else we walk just have to vvvvv

Can't say too much about the sandwiches although everybody Raves about them. I can say that they are enormous! Bring an appetite or split a sandwich with two or three friends!!!

I got a sub from this establishment very big also had a lot of meat on it not to mention they have decent prices and big portions. Had to wait a little bit for service as a guy was playing on his phone but overall not a bad experience Will be back again.

I try to stop at least twice a week. Pricing is on par, The deli is the main reason to check it out. Best sandwichs in Franklin county, if not Vermont. The portions are very large, the staff is super friendly. Amazing local products. And always remember to stop at the bakery for the best sweets around. Thank you to the awsome staff who enhance my morning.

My sister recommended we stop here, while I was visiting with her here in Vermont. I got a turkey sandwich with American cheese & lettuce on white bread. It was the BEST sandwich I’ve ever had in my ENTIRE life! Enjoyed every bite! Plus, everyone here was soooooo nice and friendly! 10/10

The place is very under lit so have to adjust my eyes for a bit before I can shop, but the food and service are well above board and I highly recommend it.

I want to give this a 5 but two in my party said 4 and one said 4.5 the size of the sandwiches and subs are gigantic. Fresh baked bread with lots of meat. I still say they're a 5. Great cookies and pastries. Nice hand made items.

A traveler passing through. The hotel clerk recommended this place, and I'm glad he did. I had chicken enchilada soup and a turkey sub. The soup was very tasty, as was the sub. And the sub was loaded with meat. On a scale from 0-10 I would rate this place at 8.7.

Mother Hubbards is one of those stores, that is slightly off the beaten path and always worth the detour heading to and from Saint Albans. Great food and a welcoming staff. Constant upgrades to the deli and bakery over the years. It is a hard place to drive by without stopping in for lunch or a treat.

Better check your sandwich before you leave. Ordered a BLT with extra bacon and extra mayo. The two girls working behind the counter didn't look like they were getting along. Got home to find there wasn't any mayo on my BLT and the sub roll was broken in several pieces. Really disappointing as this was my first time there and I read good reviews. The store itself is beautiful and clean.

The sandwiches here are HUGE. I got a whole/large and I had a hard time finishing half. I got the club which is ham, turkey and bacon and there were generous portions of each. They have garlic mayo and I the sub rolls were excellent. I know with 100% certainty I'll be back.

Subs are amazing. Portion size is huge and also well pricedi spent $17 on a lrg sub 2 storemade cookies and a 20oz soda
