The best homemade pies around!!! We have known the owners for many years and they are the most hard working family and are so humble. It is so neat how they take pride in what they do and love showing and teaching others about the processes that goes into their baked goods. The pies are actually home made unlike other places around town that claim they are but aren’t. Mourningkill pies are seriously unlike any other. They are fresh and you can just taste the fruit they pick in each pie. It is a lot of hard work they put into them and they never fall short here because they are always so delicious! Very berry and apple crumb are our favorites. We always and only get our pies here.

They make the best pies! Their made without gluten pies are by far the best GF pies I have ever had! The crust is tender and flaky and flavorful, every other GF crust I have tried tastes like cardboard! The deep fudge is my absolute favorite, it's like chocolate heaven in a pie crust! Their apples are by far the best apples I have ever eaten! Everyone is friendly and helpful! If you are in the area definitely check out their pies!

Small family farm with all the charm you expect in beautiful upstate NY. This is not the place for tourists that want to make a day of U-pick in the orchards. We bought two of the most beautiful (nearly-perfect) reasonably priced utility apples, apple pie, chocolate zucchini cake, a small strawberry rhubarb mini pie and apple cider. Everything was OUTRAGEOUSLY fresh and delicious. The pie crust is dangerously good. You've been warned.

When I arrived I thought I was in the wrong place because I ended up walking into a little kitchen with a bunch of women in aprons baking pies and I thought I was in my grandmothers own kitchen. So … long story short after I got the strawberry rhubarb an apple Crumble home I’m not joking when I tell you that eat both pies to my head in one day because of the most delicious pies I’ve ever tasted in at a cheaper price than most other places I will be back here every single time I can get up there !!! Great place to purchase apples directly from the farm. Has wide variety of apple types packaged in small and larger quantities. Has first quality, and also, offers seconds for baking and cooking.

This is an absolutely fantastic bakeshop-- we've gotten pies from them for years through their support of a local swim team and they're delicious. New people to the team have become complete converts, all asking when pies happen again. I can eat a strawberry rhubarb pie by myself and the crumb topping is divine. You won't go wrong with any one of the 14+ pie varieties here, so worth the trip!

Me and my husband usually get the very berry pie we love it but the store was out so we got apple to try very disappointed there is no sugar in the apples not sure if it was forgotten or not or if that’s the normal recipe
