Great overall atmosphere! So many different families getting icecream. It was cool to see. Got there right before close. The long lineup gave me enough time to decide what I wanted & scroll on my phone for a bit. I was looking for a cool place to stop for dinner/dessert near by where we were staying at. This place had a TON of good ratings, and from the pictures, looked super good! So of course, i had to make it a destination to stop here!! I ended up getting the Buckeye Sundae, which had soft serve, caramel, hot fudge, whip cream, & Buckeye’s (which are like Rolo’s up here in Canada?). My dad got the Turtle Sundae which [I think?] had soft serve, peanut butter, caramel, whip cream & pecans. Price was well reasonable with the portion 👌🏼. There were SO many good looking things on the menu I wanted to try, they ALL looked great. I would be coming here every other week, if I lived close 😆 All in all, Mr. Freeze was an awesome icecream shop, 10/10, glad I stopped here during our trip down to Toledo, would for sure come here again!

Great ice cream sundae. My favorite is the turtle sundae, and my wife got the Raspberry truffles sundae ( it is a must try,really good)

I’ve been stopping by during the day to pick up larger orders for coworkers and friends and Jake has been amazing. He’s fast, super friendly and clearly has been a staple at Mr Freeze. I highly recommend visiting him and his coworkers at Mr Freeze McCord

Jake was terrible too slow and did not prices. I feel he overcharged me

Affordable tasty treats. It is cash only and there can be long, slower lines. Lots of fun, cute items on the menu to choose from. LARGE portions, great for sharing.

We love Mr. Freeze taste great and cheap prices for the amount of ice cream you get. A small here is a large anywhere else and it cost less than the large other places.

Excellent iced treats, great prices, workforce are college girls who work for tips! They get good tips as the ice cream and deserts are cheap!

I love Mr freeze, I did not know they had another location. They have a lot of great sundae options along with coolers and slushes. The prices are good and the portion sizes are good too. The workers are friendly and they made my order quickly and accurately.

Our family loves Mr Freeze. It is a staple of summer. Great quality ice cream and fun sundaes. Terrific staff. Fun vibe. Wish it wasn’t so close to the road but overall it is our favorite ice cream spot in Toledo.

I've been there many times and it's always good. Fast lines, cheap prices and good ice cream.

My first memories in life are the raspberry and orange soft serve from Mr Freeze. We moved out of Toledo a couple years later though. I went back to Mr Freeze for the first time in about 20 years last Saturday and I promise it tasted exactly as I remembered from when I was a little kid. I cried a little in the car afterwards. This ice cream shop is a small slice of heaven on earth for us to enjoy.

Amazing little ice cream shop that has very good soft serve treats. There are lots of varieties of flavors that you can order or you can order from the many choices they have in their menu. Would highly recommend if you're in the area.

Oh the best turtle sundaes! The sizes are huge you really need to look at the containers. Before ordering. They have a huge selection of usual sundaes and loads of different ones. Cash only have an ATM outdoor seating only.

LACTOSE INTOLERANT PPL UNITE!! I forgot my lactaid pill. That was my biggest mistake. I was a little hesitant to try Mr.Freeze because of it. I asked a very nice lady at the counter to see if there is any lactose-free option available. She immediately pointed to almond milk vanilla ice cream, and I was still hesitant because American Vanilla ice cream usually has a very strong flavor for me. I thought I should still give it a try because I went literally two days before this place closed for the season. And it was DELICIOUS. Enough vanilla flavor was coming through while minimal almond milk was present. The perrrfect balance!! I was very impressed by the taste and I was sad that i didnt bring my lactaid pill to try other flavors. The price was the cheapest I've seen in a ice cream place in a while. I am definitely looking forward to the spring next year for its reopening. I gave 4 stars to reserve for next season to officially make up my mind. But so far, it is the best ice cream in town.

This is a fun place for soft serve ice cream. For around 4 dollars, you can choose from a wide variety of "Sundaes." Each one is unique, such as Andes Mint (full of mint), mud pie (full of chocolate and gummy worms), etc. In the end, it is still soft serve ice cream (not my favorite type of ice cream), but the variety and price more then make up for it. A great place. It is cash only.

been to the McCord location three times now, each time got the same order. first time there was no layering in my sundae but i did enjoy it as you have non dairy ice cream options so next time i requested it layered. the girl working told me what i ordered should always be layered and apologized. just went again and didn’t request it as i was told it was a mistake and once again there was only toppings on top and not layered throughout :( the inconsistency is disappointing

The best ice cream joint in the area. They only take cash, so plan accordingly. Many choices to sate any pallette, try the German Chocolate sundae!

The prices are reasonable and the options are extensive. Early evenings are extremely busy so be prepared to wait in line. Servings are generous.

If you are passing by, I suggest giving them a try..... The quality and quantity is a very good deal with kind, friendly service.

If the line is really long you will forget about it once you get your ice cream. Trust me, there is a good reason why those lines are long.

I love the Mr. Freeze in Perrysburg, however McCord Rd. falls short on quality. I have ordered twice this year and both times the toppings were skimpy and after eating the first third of the sundae, it was only ice cream. I was very disappointed both times. If I wanted plain soft serve, I would order a cone.
