Amazing food and service as always!

OMG. RUN to the Mr. & Mrs.!! We saw their episode of Triple D yesterday and decided to try them out today, Sunday. Thank the good ol Lord that we did because AMAZIIIINGG! Everything fresh and delicious, so flavorful. They serve everything with their respective sauces (which although ALSO AMAZING, nothing needs anything more than how it comes!). It's simply an amazing find in the middle of Kendall Lakes. So glad we found this place. I'm a chef and a hard food critic.. You can really taste the love and passion behind all their dishes. And the service is just as amazing. Just please go here you will not be disappointed.

If we could give 10 stars...we would...the Food was OUT OF THIS WORLD, it just hit all the flavors...have you ever eaten somewhere that you don't need to add anything...not even sauce...this is the place.

After coming back to Florida after a long trip to Colombia where almost every restaurant was incredibly tasty, this spot was able to satisfy my needs despite the high expectations. From the moment you walk into this very comforting restaurant, you are greeted lovingly and are treated wonderfully. They have many choices of sandwiches I am eager to come back to try, but I had the short rib sandwich, with the aji de gallina bites, and a mango smoothie with milk. Every item came very quickly and was expectedly hot. Though the bites weren't my personal favorite I can understand why most would find them very enjoyable. The sandwich was very juicy and savory, not an excessive amount of flavor and not the absolute best sandwich I've ever had, but I can say with confidence that I will be coming back for more. The mango smoothie was also very refreshing and a good reminder of the smoothies I've had back in Colombia. I highly recommend Mr. & Mrs. Bun. Thank you. 😊

Great find while on vacation. They had been on Diners, Drive-ins & Dives but I had never seen them that I recall - but I understand why they were featured. We liked it so much the first night, we made a point to go back on our last night in town. My wife and I tried several different items and loved everything we tried. The pork belly sandwich was to die for, the fish, shrimp and calamari sandwich on the second night was just as tasty. We tried a couple soups, tomato basil and a green creamy what they called minestrone that was also great and really unique. Don’t miss this place if you get near the south end of Miami. They were a family operation and you could tell they took great pride in everything the served and how they served you.

What a great find in Kendall! A Guy Fieiri recommended eatery. Run, don’t walk to eat this restaurant! Scrumptious good, so good we went back a second night. Wonderful, UNIQUE gourmet sandwiches. The empanada was delicious and tomato basil soup - with slow roasted tomatoes and cream - was out of this world! Cute atmosphere, Happy Hour Sangria and a wonderful meal. A treasure! Eat here!

OMG!!! 🤩🤩🤩 I had no idea that in this city you could eat such tasty and original food. Every dish and dessert was delicious, made of good ingredients, served by a very nice owner. If I wasn't passing through, I would definetly visit every day 😀

As I bite into the pork belly burger it’s Crispiness slaps my mouth. I fly out of my seat, blown back by the deliciousness of this dummy yummy edibles delight. The sweet potato fries and mango smoothie also will test your taste buds with maximum pleasure.

Stay away from this place the people are crazy the waitresses started screaming at my daughter tonight for saying she was friends with someone. Expensive Food is marginal at best

Ate a good buger. The bread was very good. The meat was ok. The fries were great. Unfortunately no real sauce in the burger that makes it stand out from all the normal burger places.

This place was shut down 3xs this year for serious roach infestation. Yuck.

Absolutely delicious ! The quality, service and atmosphere was great, the food was spectacular. The sauce pairing with the sandwiches and the sweet potato fries -chef kiss- I will absolutely be coming back to try more of their food! I would’ve added a picture but we took one bite and couldn’t stop.

Fantastic and wonderful Peruvian style sandwiches served by Mr Bun, he is the chef he greets you and takes your order while Mrs Bun takes care of the drink and your bill. You really can't ask for better service. This is a small restaurant located in the heart of West Kendall, clean, great decorations and overall nice ambiance. The restaurant has been featured in TV shows such as Guy Fieri's Diners Drive In's and Dives, local TV and wanna be youtubers channels, plenty of video review availables. I recommend the pork belly sandwich, just fantastic, if you want to try a dessert I would recommend the 4 leches of lucuma..just awesome. Our bill was a bit on the expensive side for a sandwich shop but overall well worth the price.

I've been coming here for years! My mother first took me here and now I take my wife and step children and they now love it too! Best food around! The pork belly sandwhich and the shirt rib sandwhich are insanely delicious. Just passed by again today 6/24, place is and always will be Phenomenal. Pork belly is always perfection. The fries, the mango shake, Lord it's always so fresh and good. We just came back today and had another Porkbelly sandwhich for my wife with sweet potato fries!!! Let's say she was MORE than pleased lol. And no longer Hangry! Love it here and we always will. Came back today for another meal. Always a good time. 2/25/2024. Porkbelly sandwhich is delicious!!!

The food was excellent. The prices weren't extremely high. All in all, worth it.

I went with my family for lunch. The food was excellent and we made a point of bringing dessert home so we didn't miss out. Again that was excellent as well. The owner/chef was very attentive. I would visit Miami again just to have a meal here.

This place is a find! The food is so good, best butifarra I’ve had outside of Peru. The service is friendly and the restaurant comfortable. Today we order heir food on DoorDash, and it did not disappoint. Will keep going back!

So so good. Stayed in Ft Lauderdale and took the drive down to try it (my kids really wanted to visit a spot that DDD had been to). The owner/chef came out at the end of the meal to say hello and was so welcoming. We tried the Jalea, Ham, and Asian Chicken sandwiches. All were delicious. Can’t wait to go back.

I have very high standards for food (I live in Manhattan) and Mr. and Mrs. Bun was -- hands down -- the most inventive, creative, delicious, sandwiches I have had in a decade. I don't understand why this place isn't packed with a line out the door. Lovely staff, inventive owner Gian Carlo, and just the cutest place ever. What a great find! I can't wait to go back and try more of the amazing treats on this menu! Thank you so much Gian Carlo for making our lunch truly spectacular! You need to try it if you haven't been yet!

Love that a new-fashioned restaurant like this one has opened up out West! Especially great place for brunch and exciting menu choices at any time. Food is delicious, but the creativity of the options on the menu is probably my favorite part about this place.

We are fortunate to live near Mr & Mrs Bun and have been here 3-4 times and each time the attentiveness and attention to details never disappoints! Amazing food that does not need anything added to it. This is our favorite spot and a gem in west Kendall! I highly recommend this place! The quality of every item on their menu is worth the cost! 5 stars across and if I could give more stars I would!!

Good American version of Peruvian sandwiches and appetizers, we got a couple of empanadas, chicharron a la caja china with salsa acevichada, croissant with pollo deshilachado and a couple of passion fruit juices. The sauces were also ok, in specific de huancaina and tartara.

Super customer service and delicious. Ordered takeout and will dine in next time. Eclectic decor and super cute. Nice owner too. We had seafood, vegetarian and meat options. For kids and adults. And yummy deserts. Frozen lemonade was a hit too!

Small and cozy with a family atmosphere offering delightful and mouth watering sandwich creations and soups. The Friendly staff is always ready to take care of you. Great food plus good service means a repeat visit in my book. Support your local good money value mom and pop or in this case, Mr and Mrs Bun restaurant.

It came highly recommended and did not disappoint. The lunch special of tomato bisque & basil followed by the beef round sandwich with roasted potatoes. That is one of the best sandwiches I've had in years. Really special. Take the ride to SW Dade, it's worth it.

Loved the food. I had the SMOKED TUNA BRUSCHETTA which was delicious & my husband had the Butifarra, which I tasted and was delicious as well. We shared the chicharrones. We had no room for dessert. We will go back.

Sundays is Happy Hour all day, and Gian Carlo takes the front. Between the amazing food and drink and his pride in establishment, I would give the experience 6 stars if that were possible. Next time I'm in Miami, Mr. and Mrs Bunn will definately be on my Sunday agenda!

We had the braised short rib and the pollo chi jao kai sandwiches and they were both excellent, but the short rib was a tad better. It's a little far from home, but we'll be back.

I saw the place on Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives and knew I was going to be best Miami. I had to go! I am so glad I did. The food was amazing and the service was great. The flavors were incredible. The fact that I got warm chicharrons delivered to my table with a flavor like no other. I was in heaven. We were staying on Sunny Isles and took the drive down. It was so worth out!!!

First and won't be last time. We shared the Aji de Gallina bites which were really good, sauce is good too. I had the Pollo Chi Jao Kai which was very tasty and misses has the Grilled Cheese she said was tasty. Will definitely be back.

Can I just say this place is ridiculous. Ridiculously delicious. The grilled cheese with the blueberry ketchup is legit amazing. The bread is so good. My fiance had the chicken jo Kai and he loved it. We had the gallina bites as an appy and it blew me away. I will 100% drive an hour down to come here again sometime. Keep up the good work! ♥️😍🔥👌

The food was okay but it was over price we paid almost $130 with tip for only 4 people and the proportions were very small for that price. I will definitely not be going back there anymore.

I was looking for a hamburger place and I found this amazing place near home. I fell in love with it. Small by cozy and the food incredible. Tasty, perfect portion and amazing presentation. I love it 🥰🥰

It was delicious. The portions are pretty big we had two different sandwiches with soup. They have a wonderful special one was 15.99 and the other one 17.99, It includes a soup or salad, The owner was there and came up and asked how we liked everything and the service was great.

Best service in town. GC makes us feel at home. The food was delicious. The presentation of the plates was creative and beautiful. We will be back.

We visited, like many others I'm sure, because we were in the area and saw the DD&D episode. The owner was very friendly but the food didn't impress. We all expected more flavor. If we were local I don't believe we'd return.

After seeing this location on tv we decided to check it out. It’s a very small place, not many table so not good for big parties. We order a empanada de asado, A pork belly sandwich, a the jalea sandwich and a order of chicharrón. The empanada was $7 and it was terrible. It’s one big full of meat empanada. The empanada meat was dry and fridge cold in the inside. 1 out of 10 Non of the sandwiches come with a side and they are both $16-17. The pork belly was really good and full of meat. I would prefer for it to have some type of cheese or maybe some guava sauce. 8 out of 10. The jalea sandwich was delicious, definitely a favorite. All the seafood was krispy and there was a lot in there. Perfectly seasoned. 10 out of 10. The side of chicharrón was ok, nothing special. We liked the sprinkle paprika on it but I don’t see the $8 worth. 6 out of 10. I would recommend to try.

The Butifarra they serve here was extremely juicy and flavorful in each bite, great nostalgic Peruvian music playing, and overall a very nice vibe, their happy hour specials let you have Pisco Sours or Sangrias at an amazing price as well.

Soy Peruano y este restaurante me recordó mucho a mi país, es una fusión y ellos hacen su propio pan !! , tienen lunch special y además los domingos un brunch con mimosas ilimitadas!! … la atención es de primera , la dueña siempre es muy atenta y se siente como en casa, mi favorito es el asado con palta !! Our next food adventure take us to Mr and Mrs Bun for dinner time, located in Kendall this Peruvian restaurant is a small local success but the decoration and music are adequate, every detail they used is in the right place so that when you eat enjoy it. With fresh ingredients and homemade daily baked this place offer an amazing experience for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Everything we ordered was delicious and different with such a perfect presentation in colors and flavors ready for a round of photos that I couldn't resist. We ordered 4 dishes. Sweet Potato Fries Spaghetti Pesto Rolls Fried Cheese Sliders Pancheta (Pork Belly) in the Chinese box and two dessert Passion Fruit Mousse Ferro Rocher Mousse I recommend everything we ordered and thanks to the customer service our waitress was very professional and friendly, offering the best option to choose from the menu.

Saw this restaurant on the food network and decided to visit whenever I get down that way Homestead…Perfect night to visit the servers were attentive and the food was great. My family truly enjoy the experience…

Fantastic food and service. We had the short rib sandwich, a pork belly sandwich and some awesome desserts. The place is decorated so nicely. They are full of humor and love. Will be back! Above comment was 4 years ago. Today the service (food) was slow. Our food didn't come out at the same time when we finally did get it and the food was just not quite as good. We live 2 hours away and was so looking forward to eating here again. Really wasn't worth the trip this time. So bummed.

Everything we had was amazing! The atmosphere, service, presentation, and taste are all top notch! We just spent a week on a Royal Carribean cruise, and I 100% believe that Mr & Mrs Buns belongs on that ship.
