Their Hot N Sour soup is excellent. They missed an order of rice. I ordered Szechuan Beef and I am unsure of what I got as it has no spices in it. The honey chicken had 90% breading and maybe 5% chicken and I say this after my wife tore open 5 pieces and pulled out what little chicken was in there. I will not be buying anything other than their Hot N Sour Soup from now on.

They are always very kind here and the food is good. Do not expect Panda Express though. The food here tastes different from what could be initially expected but is very good. My family and I also love how clean this place is.

You get a lot of food. I can taste every mr and every wok. It's great!

I am a huge fan of hot and sour soup. Most of the time its the same thing with maybe a slight change. I don't know what they do at Mr. Wok but, it is my absolute favorite. Everything else that I have had there is also slightly above what you would find at a takeout chinese place. That being said I eat here frequently.

General Tso's was ok, but the boneless spare ribs were disgusting and chewy.

For REAL Chinese food you need to ask for extra spicy. Tell them, "Don't dumb it down to American seasoning"

It is consistent. Beef with broccoli is always good. The Beef Lo Mein is also very good. Several other good options, these 2 are my favorites.

Cooked when ordered, fresh and hot

Chow Mein didn’t come with noodles (Mein=noodles). It came with rice and fried wanton strips. The flavors were okay at best. The owner’s daughter loudly talked about a classmate saying that they wanted to kill themselves and how she told them it would great if they did.

The food was fine the problem was it wasn't what I ordered. I went in and ordered a chicken low mein from the young women (maybe the daughter?) And about 10 minutes later an older man brought it out and I confirmed it was the chicken low mein and he said "Yes." I want to add that it was entirely empty and hardly anyone cooking in the kitchen. It definitely wasn't busy or anything. About an hour later when my wife and I were ready to eat we opened it up and noticed that there was absolutely NO chicken, it was only vegetables. We were pretty disappointed since it was a very simple order and not something that should of been mixed up.

This week I visited Mr. Wok's restaurant under the impression, by friends, that it was a very good Chinese restaurant. I'd have to say they were absolutely correct! The crab Rangoon was the perfect crisp to filling ratio. The fried dumplings were cooked to perfection and the sauce given to dip the dumplings into was delectible. I had the pork fried rice, the amount of food I got for a small size was deceiving. At first glance, the take out box didn't look like there would be much in there. However after opening the take out box and pouring it into a bowl there was more than enough. Great portions, great food, great prices. I will definitely be giving my dollar vote again in the future!

Fast service. Portions are huge. General Tsos chicken is a little spicy but very good. Egg rolls are huge and very good.

This is the worst experience of Chinese food that I ever have had. Ordered General chicken that was stringy at best and didn't taste fresh. Ordered shrimp fried rice which was yellow rice with three pieces of shrimp and it tasted rancid. Hoping that only bite won't give me food poison. Ordered egg rolls that were old and no taste. Threw 95% of the order away and won't be going there again. Buyer beware for sure.

Delicious!! Wish it had more authentic dishes but I say that about most American Chinese restaurants.

The lunch specials are awesome! Very generous portions for the price. Rice is always so yummy. They do not have yum-yum sauce though and if you order takeout and need chopsticks always make sure they're in the bag before you leave. This place usually has my order ready within 10 minutes. Great for those on lunch breaks. Inside is kinda boring. Reminds me of a school cafeteria.

Great carry out! We are still doing at lot of ‘to go’ orders these days. Mr Wok is up to the task. All dishes we ordered were very good and seasoned well. We will definitely be back.

Best Chinese food in Madisonville.

I am an out-of-town worker I am also African-American me and my coworker decided to dine in. There was about 15 people eating in the restaurant my food came I began to eat whenever I got to the end of my meal I noticed something everyone had a plate and they gave me a paper plate my coworker which is Caucasian became very angry we both left the restaurant didn't address the issue, but just wanted to let you know that was very disrespectful I would never eat there again and I hope the owner of this restaurant reads this.

Absolutely terrible. Was hung up on three times while trying to place an order and then when I finally got to place my order I go pick up it and ITS WRONG the same woman that kept hanging up tries to argue that I order something that I don’t even know what it is (I ordered sweet and sour chicken with rice). Refused to fix the order or refund my money.

Eggrolls are Hella good! Lo mein noodles are the best.

Food wasn't as good as it was on the past

The food here is average on a good day but they close at 9:30 PM when other places close at 9 PM. When I walked up to order for my family at 9:04 PM I was asked if we were eating there. I said that we were and was told that they close at 9:30 PM. I asked if they would be throwing us out at 9:30 PM if we were still eating, he said yes. We left. I'll be back sometime without my family so you can try to throw me out though.

Just call in and pick up and brang it home hot and fill up! The order was correct to the T.. the wait time was on time as well. I most always am pleased with the food from mr woks. 99.8% of the time. The parking isnt the greatest but isnt the worst either. Im glad they opened tje inside back up just to be able to have a place to sit if you arrive early or you do have to wait a minute for whatever. I get the fried rice with chicken and mixed vegetables in garlic sauce (extra garlic sauce on the side) and my husband gets garlic shrimp and it comes with white rice and his vegetables are different than mine so we share. Egg rolls are delicious too. We have eaten inside maybe twict and its just too small and my husband doesnt like to have a bottle of pop with his supper especially without ice he likes sweet ice tea. The containers are very good at keeping the food hot and great to use afterwards for our own leftovers or to use to send food home with somebody. With the price of groceries these days there is usually enough chicken and vegetables in mine to eat on for two days and that makes the meal more enjoyable too. Yeah i have no complaints. ☆☆☆☆☆ thanks mr woks!

Really good egg foo young. Our go to for Chinese take out in Madisonville.

Their fried rice isn't traditional fried rice. It's yellow rice, they don't use white rice and soy sauce, and there's no egg in it. It's mostly just the yellow rice with some meat and a few peas and carrots. Very disappointing! Do better.

Food was good But the attitude and customer service was terrible It’s the only Chinese restaurant in town for carry out But the management and customer service is very poor

There food sucks and they can't get your order right, they pay more attention being on the phone than they do to the customer. This is a place I will never return to and I will never recommend this place to anyone that I know.

Was there today..spent over 30$..had a to go order.. got home..Food was horrible..called restaurant to let them know..got a very..very..rude.lady that basically said..ok then hung up..If you have money to throw away..eat there..if not go somewhere else..

Mr Wok has a door insert that lets you pay in a drawer, a door you open to get your sack of food, and it is hot, generous in portion, and sits well on the stomach.

My favorite restaurant for Chinese food!

We normally have a 5 star visit with Mr Woks every time we eat there. They are still not allowing dine in and some of the food tasted like it had been prepared a lot earlier in the day. Very dry and hard pepper chicken. Not the usual diner with them. We will still visit them regularly but will wait until they open the dining room.

Clean and efficient and fast. I especially like the Chicken Egg Foo Young and the Chicken with Garlic sauce combo (extra spicy). I don’t care for their Lo Mein.

It was so nice and warm and yummy on this cold day . I will definitely go back and that was my first time there . The curry chicken I highly recommend.

Stayed at Inn across the road from Mr. Wok. Ordered take-out. Fried rice, sweet sour chicken, chicken with vegetables. and crab rangoon. Very fast service. Picked it up 10 minutes after placing order! Skip the extra 2.50 upcharge for fried rice. I saw no evidence of egg, peas or any other vegetables in the rice... only a pinkish color. No taste different than white rice. Also, if you order to eat in a hotel room, please know that the food is sent in those folded boxes. Plenty of food but we were without plates. I know you can unfold the box to make plate, but too much food stuffed in box for that. I asked if they have wor su gai and they had no idea what that is! I have NEVER seen a Chinese restaurant that doesn't serve this dish. We liked the food and that matters most.

Love Mr Woks. Twice cooked pork is not on the menu but they made it for us. It was perfect. Best crab rangoons anywhere.

After a doctor's appointment at the hospital, my wife and I stopped here for lunch. She had the General Tso and I had the Seaseme Chicken. They were both good having distinct flavors and we're fried nice and crispy. The vegetable Fried rice was also good. I would stop here again.

Best crab rangoon hands down! All chinese restaurants are not equal! I've tried many chinese restaurants in many states and mr wok has perfect crab rangoon everytime! The wontons are thin, golden and crispy just the way they should be. Never had a bad meal from there and i eat there everytime I'm in town.

My wife and I have developed a habit of taking out delicious food from around town so we can eat in the comfort of our own home. This place fits the bill. I always get the garlic chicken and I’m never disappointed.

I pass up the buffet to eat here. So what tje dining space is small. I like the atmosphere. The food is always hot, fresh and delicious.

We always enjoy the cashew chicken plate and a side of crab ragoon when we carry out or eat there. Never fails to please and the portions are so large we can either share a late or take it home for another meal.

We’ve eaten here several times since moving to Madisonville in June. The food has been delicious and consistent every time. If you are looking for a quick lunch or dinner with large portions, you can’t go wrong here!

We order pick up lunches and dinners from Mr. Woks very often. They are fast and the large number of items we order have never been messed up yet. It is a very small place next to the Kroger in Madisonville but worth finding. Would say that their food has always been as good as any other very good Chinese place we have eaten in other cities. The Chicken Wings and other appetizers are all good. We also like the nice plastic containers that they use. Call in your pick up order when you get a chance.
